We liked the staff, Petra upon check in was kind and offered my daughter who is staying in Utrecht for 6months help if needed; lots of the other staff were also very willing to provide information about the city and popular places for night-life in Utrecht. The incentive of the free drink vouchers for choosing to "be green" was very pleasant as well. The only complaint that we had was that the swimming pool temperature was a little bit on the cooler side. Overall excellent experience!!

A fabulous hotel with really great amenities and great staff. The best bit is the "parking available" is free and plentiful. We'd late lunch after a long trip and it was dire. The city centre is around 20 minutes walk, the bus is 10, so don't bother and enjoy the walk. My wife said the shower in our room was probably the best and most powerful shower she'd ever had. We didn't use the pool etc but it looked lovely. Our lunch by the lake in the sun was a lovely setting.

Prachtige grote kamer met Meerzicht en heel fijn met een terrasje om buiten te kunnen zitten, fijn groot 2 pers bed , direct aan mooi park om te wandelen, ideaal met een hond , ook dicht bij centrum, alleen jammer dat de sauna en Turks stoombad buiten werking waren ,want om die reden had ik juist dit hotel geboekt ! Zwembad erg koud , lunch Diner heel goed.

Det var noget rodet på flere punkter. Indtjekning fungerede ikke ( havde betalt hjemmefra men blev opkrævet igen) fik pengene tilbage . Manglede variation på morgen buffeten samt det var et sparsomt menu kort i restauranten. Skriver de har træningsrum men der står kun 4 maskiner i et lille rum. Der var festival om lørdagen og vi fik adgangspas, men kontrolløren ville ikke lukke os ind, blev dog efter nogen diskutioner og snak med ansvarlig lov til at kører ind til hotellet. Ville bowle i hotellets bowling, men måtte vente 1 time på de lukkede op( åbnede normalt kl. 12 ) og hotellets personalet viste ikke rigtig hvad de skulle stille op. Men meget stor ros til en erfaren receptionist, som gik ind og tog hånd om det.

Fantastisk plass som hadde alt. Badebasseng, bowling, aircondition og ikke minst fantastiske mennesker som jobber der. Her var det service på topp nivå og rommet var stort, med ballkong, sittegruppe, stort bad og en utrolig koselig uteplass med elven.

Far from being a 4 star hotel. Rooms are in bad stand. A superior room is not even supplied with a bottle of water. When I asked at the front desk I was told to drink from the tap in the bathroom. Swimming pool facility was okay but bobble tub is more like a vending machine. You need coins to activate it. Overall, this is more like a 2-3 star hotel. Never going back here.

What we didn't like about our stay was that there's nothing around the hotel. There's a park and a canal and busy road system. That's it. The town centre is 20 to 30 minutes walk away, which we did walk, there and back every day for dinner, because the hotel restaurant's menu is a bit limited. We did eat there once, which was okay, but we didn't want to it again. We also didn't like the building. It looks like an office block. Our room was quite large, but also quite basic. All painted white, so quite bleak. Not warm and cosy at all. And that was an upgraded room, which basically meant we were overlooking the canal, rather than the car park. My partner was at her course on the day we left, so I asked if I could have a late check out, which they said I could, for a charge of 42 Euros. I've never been charged for a late check out before. The town of Utrecht is a great place. Plenty of bars and restaurant's to choose from and very historic. We did a walking tour one evening, which we enjoyed. We just wished, we stayed in the town centre and not on the outskirts.

Het betreft een gerenoveerd hotel met een breed scala aan faciliteiten, goed bereikbaar. Het hotel en de kamers zijn niet in optimale staat. Rolgordijn op de kamer was kapot en constant omlaag. Badkamer was niet goed gepoets en er lagen nog lege shampoo flacons in de douche. Eten is oke maar prijzig, het ontbijt is te duur voor aanbod. De sauna en zwembad hebben een prachtig uitzicht.

This is a great find. Beautiful old building with high ceilings but very much suits modern tastes inside. Quality rooms, parking and short 5 minutes walk into the picturesque town square. Hotel was immaculate and included breakfast was excellent with egg and bacon if you wanted it.

Wir waren 2 nächte da. Es war furchtbar heiß aber das zimmer super abgekühlt dank der klimaanlage. Es sind kleinigkeiten die störend auffielen, z. B. dass die duschetüre nach aussen aufging und den fanzen boden nass machte. Der Swimmingpool eher klein. Max 3 leute können gleichzeitig ihre bannen schwimmen oder eine jugend handballmannschaft. Was aber sehr nervte war die hellhörigkeit. Sobald die nachbarn die tür zu schlugen oder im redeten wachte man davon auf. Frühstück ist leider nicht inkl. aber für 18,50 euro pro person dazu buchbar. Kann schnell teuer werden. Der kleine balkon zeigte zum see und ist wuderbar privat. Dem sonnenbaden steht nix im wege. Trotzdem würde ich hier wieder buchen.

Room and bathroom are very modern and well sound-proofed. Spa and pool are a real asset tp the stay and really help to unwind and relax. Breakfast is very generous and you'll gind everything you ever dreamed of. Dinner menu has changed and is a bit less exciting as a few months back. But still ok. Staff are very nice and helpful.

While the property is clean, the location is very inconvenient. There was nothing nearby and public transportation was lacking. The staff were not very friendly. During check-in, one staff threw my card and passport back at me. Since she treated other white visitors nicely, I feel it was racially motivated.

This was not my first stay at The Mitland nor will it be my last as I highly regard the level of service provided. I have Parkinson's Disease and thus sometimes require a little help and tolerance when using my scootmobile on the hotel premises. The staff are great and help however they can whether it be holding a door open or delivering things from the kitchen / bar for me. This is excellent customer service - nobody could ask for more

Hotel muito confortável em uma localização extremamente agradável, canto de pássaros, lago com muitos patos. A 30 minutos de caminhada do centro. Tem uma atendente, Mirela, que fala em português e é muito simpática. Tem sauna, piscina, academia, restaurante. Super recomendo.
