Mit dem günstigeren Wochenend-Tarif ein sehr preiseertes Hotel. In due Jahre gekommen, was sich unter anderem in zu wenigen Steckdosen zeigt. Grosses Zimmer, komfortables Bett, ruhig; grosses Badezimmer, dort allerdings keine Haken für den nassen Bademantel oder das Badkleid. Pool rudimentär und mit prekären Treppen, die aus der Halterung zu kippen drohen. Lroblemspieler aufgepasst:Das Casino ist gleich nebenan

Lovely stay in a grand hotel. The entrance was beautiful, comfy beds and breakfast buffet great! Only downside was rooftop pool wasnt open on such a lovely sunny weekend!

Hôtel très bien situé, proche des sites à visiter. Il est magnifique à l'intérieur, avec des grandes chambres, bien équipées. Parking sur place, 23 euros la nuit. Très bon petit déjeuner, avec des super serveurs. Piscine sur le toit, la vue n'est pas terrible. Wifi très mauvais, aucune connexion durant notre séjour.

Muy buena disposición por parte del personal de recepción, en especial por el jefe de recepción. Parking amplio. Piscina bien en días de calor. Gimnasio suficiente para mantenimiento. Las habitaciones de estilo clásico, en mi opinión necesitan un poco de actualización. En pleno centro de Zaragoza.

Un grand hôtel qui reste très beau bien que vieillissant. Excellent accueil et bons conseils pour visiter la ville. Grand et beau hall d'accueil surprenant avec ses escalators pour accéder à l'espace restauration. Très bon petit déjeuner. Chambre spacieuse mais douche intégrée à la baignoire, mobilier daté et on doit claquer la porte pour la fermer. On attend mieux d'un 5 étoiles. Très bien situé à 5 mn à pied du centre. Nous avons voulu prendre un verre pour terminer la soirée au bar, malheureusement pas de carte : vous devez demander le prix de chaque alcool en désignant les bouteilles. Pas agréable ni vendeur ! Parking cher.

Whilst the staff are great and the foyer is beautiful, everywhere else, particularly the rooms, are extremely dated and in desperate need of modernisation. The luxurious sun beds in the photos are not the same either - in fact the pool terrace isn’t great either - again, needs updating - just 2 umbrellas. The breakfast was distinctly average and certainly not 5 star - you spend every day looking for staff to request that more butter or bread be put out of for the milk/water in the coffee machine to be filled up. Again - not 5 star!

At check-in, we were assigned a room, but upon entering, we were shocked by its condition, the smell, and the dirt. It was hard to believe that such a room could exist in what is supposed to be a 5-star hotel. The room was located at the farthest end of the third floor and appeared to be in this state because it was equipped for disabled guests and had likely been unused for a long time. Initially, I was informed that no other rooms were available, but fortunately, they eventually relocated us to a much nicer room.

Sehr gutes Frühstück. Die Zimmer benötigen allerdings dringend einige Reparaturen. Das Wasser im Waschbecken lief nur extrem langsam ab, der Duschkopf gehört dringend erneuert, an der Duscharmatur fehlen Teile, und ein Knopf fällt ab, wenn man nur etwas zu fest daran zieht. Am Bett gibt es nur eine Steckdose, und die Klimaanlage bekommt die Zimmertemperatur nicht auf angenehme Werte runter, und das im November mit 15-20 °C Außentemperatur. Eigentlich ist das Meiste davon etwas, das z.B. bei der täglichen Reinigung auffallen müsste, aber das tut es leider nicht, oder es wird ignoriert. Das Personal war aber freundlich.

If this was a 5 star hotel, it must have been 50 years ago. The decor is very old and shabby The rooms look like they haven’t been refurbished in decades. They use out dated and obscure methods of storing details. The wanted to manually save my credit card number in their computer, instead of blocking my card for a set amount. meaning i had to pay €50 with a UK card and then refund me on departure. This mean i lose about £5 just to ensure a safe method of giving a deposit. The air conditioning didn’t cool the room and when i asked, they said, “just open the window”. that’s fine until the traffic noise starts in the morning. The door to my room squeezed continuously, every time i used it. I am on a long work trip for 20+ days, but decided to move hotels at the opportunity, i won’t be back , that’s for sure

The rooftop would be neat but it was closed. The linens are old garbage. The non-movable twin beds are just dumb. That should be marketed as a standard room for couples. It is a double all over the world.

El personal de recepción super amable, nos dejamos olvidados los regalitos en la recepción y uno de los recepcionistas nos los alcanzó al garaje sin nosotros habernos dado cuenta, se pegó una tremenda carrera. A su vez su compañera recepcionista también nos avisó a través del intercomunicador del garaje que nos habíamos olvidado unas pertenencias. Una vez en casa nos dimos cuenta que nos habíamod olvidado la manta escocesa de viaje en la habitación y seguro que la recuperaremos, o por lo menos yo tengo esperanzas dado el buen hacer de los gerentes del hotel. Inculcación de valores en sus trabajadores. El hotel es muy elegante, cómodo, fiable y seguro, en conclusión es altamente recomendable.

Hotel Palafox proved to be a delightful choice in central Zaragoza, and one which we would recommend highly. Located on a short, quiet street, it is only a few minutes’ walk to busy commercial areas with numerous shops and restaurants. For example, the Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar, perhaps the best known tourist destination in Zaragoza, is just a pleasant 15- or 20-minute walk away. The staff are professional and accommodating, while our room was spacious and warm. Likewise, the on-site restaurant, Aragonia, served delicious dishes in an elegant setting — we liked it so much that we ate dinner there two of our three nights in the the city. We also ate in the well appointed bar and were very happy with our experience. In short, Hotel Palafox is an excellent choice for travelers who want to pamper themselves in Zaragoza.

Muy decepcionante ya que tuve que cambiarme dos veces de habitación en la misma noche por defectos serios. Mala atención en esa situación que dejó mucho que desear por la persona de recepción. Al día siguiente se me pidió disculpas y reintegro parcialmente el dinero y el trato con la persona a cargo esa mañana contribuyó grandemente a paliar la deficiente impresión de la noche anterior. El desayuno fue muy correcto y la atención allí excelente. El hotel es elegante y tiene una ubicación inmejorable. Es lamentable que esta buena impresión se haya visto fuertemente empañada por los hechos antes referidos. El internet tampoco funciona adecuadamente y según se me dijo es algo frecuente. The bathroom I had was outdated. Staff is very friendly and the mind set reaches a high level. In a 5 star hotel the roomservice should be available at least during daytime and not only during lunch and dinner.

Un grand hôtel qui reste très beau bien que vieillissant. Excellent accueil et bons conseils pour visiter la ville. Grand et beau hall d'accueil surprenant avec ses escalators pour accéder à l'espace restauration. Très bon petit déjeuner. Chambre spacieuse mais douche intégrée à la baignoire, mobilier daté et on doit claquer la porte pour la fermer. On attend mieux d'un 5 étoiles. Très bien situé à 5 mn à pied du centre. Nous avons voulu prendre un verre pour terminer la soirée au bar, malheureusement pas de carte : vous devez demander le prix de chaque alcool en désignant les bouteilles. Pas agréable ni vendeur ! Parking cher.

When in Zaragoza, dinner at the Palafox is a must have. It is alone reason to travel to Zaragoza. The breakfast buffet was extraordinary as well. Well situated to see Old Town Zaragoza as well where a most important cathedral-basilica has a home. It’s called Virgin of the Pillar
