The room was comfortable and was just the right amount of space and the hotel was in great location. However, what set this hotel apart is the excellent service that the staff provided! The gentlemen at the front desk were very polite and helpful. On-site parking is definitely a huge plus but the downside for me was driving through narrow ramps and parking my on tight spaces. However, the attendants at the front desk were always willing to help me navigate to the hotel parking lot to ensure I don’t scratch my new car. Highly recommend and I come stay again.

My husband and I needed a nice place to stay near the main train station in Zurich. We were spending one night in Zurich before leaving by airplane the next morning. The Central Plaza Hotel is just an easy10 minute walk from the train station. It is a historic hotel with completely updated, modern interiors and located on the edge of the olde town area of Zurich. Our room was small but immaculately clean. We easily walked to riverside cafes and there is a good assortment of nice restaurants in the olde town area. We enjoyed live music in the Central Plaza Hotel lounge in the evening. The staff were friendly and helpful and spoke English very well. We were very happy with our stay and would stay there again if we were in the area.

Good hotel overall. I did not find the stuff being too “welcoming “. Very convenient location. Almost next door to the main Zurich train station which made travel to other cities very easy. The room was small but that typical for an European hotels. One thing to be aware is that the rooms which are in the back of the hotel are facing a construction site. The start at 7 am. And some times the noises is substantial. The hidden gem of the hotel is the bar. There was always live music.

駅の近くの道路が工事中で、遠回りする必要があったが、駅に近く、近くにスーパーCOOPがあり、徒歩で教会や美術館、レストランに行けて、買い物にも便利だった。部屋をアップグレードしてくださったので、ソファーのある広い部屋でゆっくり過ごすことができた点も良かった。紛失すると大変な弁償をしなくてはならないが、美術館の半額チケットを貸してくれる点も良かった。 fast チェックインをしたにも関わらず、フロントでまた、パスポートの提示を求められて、チェックインにかなり時間がかかり、同行したfastチェックインしていない友人夫婦の方が早くチェックインできたので、何のためのfastチェックインなのか疑問。担当の女性スタッフが原因かもしれない。夕食の予約も同じ女性に頼んで、予約しておくと返事をしたにも関わらず、お店に行ったら予約は入っていないと言われた。席が空いていたので事なきを得たが、こんなことは初めて。部屋でコーヒーを飲もうとしたら、前の人の使った汚れたコーヒーカップとスプーンがそのまま置いてあったので、フロントまで行って交換を依頼した。 2泊したが、前日使ったアメニティの補充がなされてなかった。 4星でそれなりの料金を支払っているのでがっかりした。

I would have rated this hotel a 5 star if not for the hiccup in the room after check in. There was leftover food from the previous guest on the mini fridge & that makes me question the sanitization & cleanliness of the housekeeping of the room. The receptionist came to have a look & just removed the leftovers from our mini fridge but guaranteed the cleanliness of the room. Hotel is close to many restaurants & trams. Also just across the bridge (5 mins walk) from the Zurich HB train station. The shower gel/shampoo didn’t look sanitary to use (re-usable jar that has a loose lid (I saw hair strands in the jar, so I didn’t personally use the shampoo, I would recommend the hotel use a sealed bottle instead to keep it sanitized.) The 2 restaurants in the hotel are great & offer vegetarian/vegan dinner options!

The hotel is a short 10 minute walk from the train station. Right in the middle of everything overlooking the river. Close to coffee, restaurants, shopping etc. The propery itself is well kept, clean and safe. Fun lobby to hang out in that spills into a restaurant and also into a lounge. We ate breakfast and dinner there (they bring in a guest sushi chef once a week). Breakfast is both continental and full service. Regular dinner has a nimber of excellent choices. Full bar is also available as is outside seating. Rooms are a pretty good size for an older hotel. Very clean. Bathroom was clean and spacious. We will be back here when we return to Zürich. Concierge service via the front desk was extremely good.

Room very small, I know in Switzerland A/C is not USUALLY needed but we visited during a summer heatwave and no A/C made it quite miserable. Had to sleep with the window open and 2 oscollating fans that did not do the trick and with the windows open we heard every siren and horn honking for a 10 mile radius. If youre visiting in summer make sure you get a hotel with A/C. Especially if you're visiting from Texas where you are used to A/C.

The room we had was carved up from the store below and it felt as you were in the center of an intersection. Cars and trains were running virtually outside the window. We called Expedia trying to change the room to no avail. We discovered a lot of nicer hotels with lower star rating in the immediate area.

The hotel is great however the staff would benefit from additional training in customer service particularly in comprehending English more clearer. We encountered a disappointing situation when booking an excursion through the hotel. Despite receiving confirmation from both the front desk and the manager that the activity would operate as scheduled, it was later canceled due to inclement weather. When we raised the issue, we were told we had misunderstood and were refused a reimbursement. This response was unacceptable and disheartening especially since we had read similar negative experiences in previous reviews but chose to give the hotel a chance. There was a clear lack of accountability which was very disappointing given our initial expectations. Switzerland is a beautiful country so it was unfortunate that we encountered such a situation for the first time given we’re frequent travelers.

The Hotel is in a great location, close to shopping and transport. There are two restaurant options as well as the option for breakfast. The more casual eating area and bar had very good staff. The reception staff were disappointing with their unhelpfulness and they were very unorganised with our booking. Unfortunately the rooms are the smallest Hotel rooms we've ever seen. The average room is small and even their junior suite is small to the point of not having enough room to open two suitcases. Even though the position was good I don't think we'd stay there again.

This hotel is closed everything to Old Town Zurich and 2 super market and lots of restaurant. You can walk about 5 minutes from train station. The hotel has 2 restaurants, Our experience with Kings Cave restaurant is great, the manager is sweet and Mr. Jovo is the best. I recommend every one travel to Zurich try Kingscave restaurant.

The hotel is centrally located to old town and new town. It’s adjacent to the train station and the beautiful river! The hotel accommodations are renovated and very comfortable. The restaurant is delicious and also lively in the evening with music. We went for the Christmas markets and they were easy to get to and SO WORTH it!

Vi hade en mycket bra vistelse på detta hotell. Det går inte att få ett bättre läge i centrala Zürich. Hotellet var fräscht och likaså rummet. Daglig städning var mycket bra. Frukosten var något undermålig med litet utbud, men det som fanns höll god standard. Något krånglig incheckning.
