Great place to stay, walkable from train station and also into the centre. Would recommend. Bonus of a gym and sauna

This was a great hotel. It was right in the middle of many attractions we could walk to. The Christmas market was within walking distance. There was an underground car park right next to it, that we used for a fee. We called ahead of time to reserve a spot. The room was small, but sufficient for the two of us. It was very clean.

We stayed here on a return trip from Chamonix. Just a short walk from the Zürich train station. Great proximity to the old town which is loaded with lots of shopping and restaurants. The hotel had great style with all of your modern amenities, including a sauna. The buffet breakfast was fantastic. Coffee and tea were available anytime afternoon free of charge. Hotel staff for fantastic with local recommendations. The cleaning staff on our floor we’re very pleasant and friendly every time we passed-asking how our holiday is going.

The staff is terrific!! The location in convenient to the central train station and District 1 (Old City) Zurich. The breakfast was very good and, after a long day of sightseeing (and tired feet from walking), the restaurant on the main floor was perfect for a light dinner prepared by a very talented chef - don’t miss it…

Excellent city hotel, great location 5 minutes walk from Zürich HB station, friendly helpful staff. The room had all you need and very clean. Nice reception/bar area to hang out with free hot drinks which was a nice touch. Definitely stay again, thank you!

Hotel muito bem localizado, a poucos minutos da estação central de Zurich (HB) e do centro da cidade. Ótimo café da manhã com preço justo para os padrões da Suíça. Ótimas opcionais de alimentação próximas, como a pizzaria Vito. Apenas deixa a desejar o espaço fitness, sem janelas e pouco ventilado.

We were so pleasantly surprised by the amenities at Ibis Styles City Center Zurich. There is a great 24 hour "convenience" store in the lobby for any extras you need food or otherwise. The check-was seamless and although we arrived early, Aldo at the front desk was able to get us into our room right away without an additional early check-in charge we found so irritating at other facilities. There is an amazing restaurant/bar right off the lobby, with stunning decor and a great food choice from breakfast through dinner. Breakfast is NOT included, but we didn't expect it to be. We ate in the restaurant twice for dinner and loved the service from Kersten and Eleonora, who went above and beyond. There is a very adequate fitness center with up to date equipment that has all "functions" working. Great little sauna, as well, all free to persons staying at the hotel. The location was within easy walking distance of the train station, and access to walks along the river in downtown Zurich. The room was comfortable (great shower) and had a very appealing modern decor, but the air circulation wasn't great for the air conditioning (we stayed during an extremely hot time). When we mentioned it at the desk, Aldo (again - great guy), grabbed us two fans for the room and that did the trick to keep things circulation. Window-door does open and has with motorized blinds but we kept the room closed to conserve the cool air. I would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend.

This property is within walking distance of the train station. It is also 50 yards from a tram stop. Very modern / new hotel. Seems to cater to business travel. I stayed here with my son. It was a little awkward in that the shower area is only separated from the sleeping area with a (solid) curtain. Better for couples. We made it work. There is a restaurant on site with carry out available, but no room service. Our meal was good. We did not try the breakfast. They also have snacks and microwave meals available in the lobby. The "shared microwave" is actually just the restaurant's microwave, so it's a little awkward feeling to ask the bar tender to heat up your cheap meal because you're skipping the restaurant. But they were super friendly about it. The front desk is manned 24 /7 and everyone was super helpful and friendly. Parking is available, but fills up quickly. Additional parking is available just up the street at the Marriott for the same price. Save money and take the trams!

Location is good:) Room cleanliness needs improvement. There was a day that they only took the trash, bed unmade and floor was dirty on both rooms I had booked. Breakfast is really good. So much variety and had healthy options. Love it!

I would have loved this property. However, since it was a Pet Friendly hotel, I guess the rooms are not cleaned very well. I was itchy all night and woke up with hives in the morning. I had to get out of the room as soon as possible. I would recommend removing the carpet and putting in hard floors for a pet friendly hotel. And maybe consider having a floor or few rooms where no pets are allowed for those with pet allergies. Otherwise, the lobby was nice and clean, also my safe haven. The bar area was enjoyable, and appreciated the multiple seating options. The hotel was easy to get to on foot from the train station. I felt safe walking outside. And the staff was very friendly and check in and check out was quick. Adding an optional shower curtain for privacy would be nice for 2 single travelers sharing the room.

Quarto não foi limpo por dois dias. Tive que reclamar na recepcçao. E ainda deixaram as fronhas sujas na cadeira.

Clean and good location .Near station

Very friendly staff and I found it very pleasant in the common area, cozy and it looked like they consistently kept it tidied and clean, but our rooms were dirty. There was human body hair all over our floor and shower, my husband took pictures to show the staff but apparently he didn’t so that is our bad. The walls had dried liquid marks all over and many other marks that I’m not sure what they could be, and that was in both our rooms. Bedding seemed clean, there was however an odor in our room and I believe it was a strong odor of cigarette smoke, but more similar to a stale odor. I’m on the fence on whether I would stay with Ibis again, the staff really were friendly and helpful but the room condition was a turn off. Oh! It was family friendly as well, I love that they had a little kiddie corner in the common area, it was very neat!

We enjoyed our stay at Ibis Zurich, the hotel is a 15 minute walk to Zurich HB and there are restaurants nearby. Etienne and Yumi were friendly and very accommodating! The breakfast buffet was excellent! The housekeeping clean our room everyday, but the only thing that wasn’t good is; in our entire stay our bathroom smell like urine even when they clean our room. My husband finally asked about the smell, and the front desk said, it is not normal and they probably need to spray inside the drain. But, overall, we had a good time at Ibis Zurich. The area around is safe and quiet.

I woke up to beg bugs crawling on me during my one night stay. I was told that there have been issues with bed bugs recently - BEWARE! Also, the hotel refused to grant me a refund despite this issue. The service was very poor.

The hotel location is really good. It is near the train station and walkable from local sites. The actual property is a bit tired and could do with a refurb. Instead of a double bed booked we got two single beds with own duvets and only one pillow each. When asked staff to have extra pillows, staff were very friendly and accommodating. Air conditioning sadly did not work hence we had to have a balcony door open and due to location it was really loud at night/early morning which prevented me sleeping well. Toilet room is tiny and the shower/sink are a park of corridor/room which leaves very little for privacy and space. Not enough towels either, only one per person. Cleanliness is OK but the rooms could be cleaner than they were (e.g. there were marks on the walls, carpets looked tired). Car parking is conveniently located underground however parking spaces are tiny and the way out of the car park is too steep making it hard for smaller and longer cars to get out. This could have been a really good stay given location, and how well the amenities look however I am slightly disappointed.

Loved the location. So easy to get to from city center. However we were very disappointed there was no air conditioning in the room. Made for some tough nights sleeping.

Rooms are very badly designed. The toilet / Restroom is a small wooden box added to the room by the door. It is not well insulated and lacks ventilation. The light is automatic (sensor-activated), hence even in the middle of the night, you get full illumination as soon as you open the door. There is virtually no workstation in the room. The standard double-bed rooms lack sufficient storage space (only a standing shelf), and the shower area is tiny. The shower and toilet are separated from your bed by a curtain. I frequently wish the hotel owner and interior designer would spend one night in this room and see how it feels for themselves.

Everything is good except no basic item like kettle or coffee

A nice place to stay in Zurich, easy access to train station and Bahnhofstrasse. Room layout is a bit odd with open shower layout and shower floor was very slippery. Overall met the needs of a one night stay in Zurich for the price.

Location is a close 8 min walk to Zurich HB. The rooms are small and clean. Typical for Europe the room. Only complaint is the bed is a firm mattress and uncomfortable and the pillows are tiny. The bed gave me back pain every night. The breakfast is good. It is the same food every morning with the only thing that changes is the yogurt flavours. Went to iron my clothes on the 2nd floor the iron board is ripped, it needs to be replaced. They have a parking garage for people that drive. There is a taxi outside most of the time 20 chf to airport. There is a small selection of waters and snacks in lobby but a little overpriced. you can walk to zurich hb and get basics at migros/coop. There is construction going on at building next door a little loud and so is the tram at night.

Worst check in experience ever. In over 20 years of travelling I’ve never had an experience as bad as this. Check in was at 3 and we arrived at 3:30 only to be told our room wasn’t ready. Normally this wouldn’t bother me too much but the way this news was delivered by the receptionist just made me so angry. I don’t normally single out a staff member unless it’s for something good, but in this instance I think I’ll make an exception. The receptionist Betina said your room type is not ready. No apology, just that it wasn’t ready and we would have to wait. I asked if there were any other room types available we could switch to. She sighed and rolled her eyes at me disrespectfully before informing me they had none of any room type. When I asked why she said it was because people were checking out late and it wasn’t her fault so what can she do. Once again, no empathy or apologies, just rolling her eyes and sighing. How someone like this could get a job dealing with the public is beyond me. I was told to come back in half an hour. I gave it 40 minutes and they still didn’t have any rooms, nor could she tell me when one would be ready. At this point I had to tell her how to do her job and have her call the housekeeping supervisor to find out which room would be ready next which we got eventually. The room itself was fine. It was clean and tidy. A bit small but you get what you pay for. I wouldn’t stay here again though and would recommend more customer service training for Betina.

la signorina che mi ha fatto il check-in non era molto motivata e abbastanza scorbutica. Inoltre, sono dovuta tornare giù a farmi cambiare la stanza perché avevo ordinato una stanza matrimoniale e mi sono beccata una stanza per disabili con tre letti separati. E quando gli ho chiesto di cambiarmi stanza non è stata una reazione molto positiva con un buon servizio.

Have always stayed at this hotel , over and over … breakfast buffet is excellent, they hold your luggage for further travels , very convenient location . Staff is very courteous and friendly .

Accessible, walking distance to Zurich main station and city

Great location , easy access to all public transport—trams and trains. Zutich HB station just 10 mins walk. Many restaurants within walking distance and close to all the major attractions.

Clean and good location .Near station

Be aware of constructions at the building next door and your mornings from 7 am will be disturbed by loud drilling and hammering. If you want to get an afternoon nap after a long flight will be impossible. On the plus side, the breakfast is great

Walking distance to train station, town and lake

Air cooling in room is inadequate for hot summer days. Understandable for the normal Zurich climate, but climate is changing quickly now. Although just 400m from the train station, it’s slightly uphill so expect sweat on a hot day with luggage. Few dining options until you get to the station area. Toilet paper holder unbelievably secured to wall with a single screw, so the whole thing rotates and toilet paper roll can fall off. Staff didn’t realize for days that body wash in shower had been empty since the start of stay. But otherwise, clean and convenient enough as a base. No major complaints about service.

It’s very close from the train station and walking distance to the historic center. There’s not much around but the hotel has a nice restaurant/bar. We had a small problem with our shower but they gave us a new room with no hesitation. Staff was always super helpful

Their 25CHF breakfast is incredible

The room was pretty good. It did give off the vibes of a capsule hotel, but its a bit more spacious than others like Citizen M. I was not a fan of the european style twin beds, and would've preferred a queen or king bed. The location is a short distance to the main train station and bus station making the trip logistics pretty simple. I dined at the onsite restaurants after a busy day of site seeing and they had some good options. While Zurich is generally expensive, I was quite surprised to be charged CHF7 for a glass of water served with my meal (~$9), and there was no 'tap water' option. Most of Europe charges $2-4 for water, but this was really over the top. There weren't any good dining options closeby, the street is pretty dead. Any meaningful destination is a minimum 15min walk away.

Hotels near by were too pricey but this ibis hotel was perfect for me.. it only took 7-10min away from the main station. Hotel has the brita water machine in the lobby, we enjoyed hot water, still water even sparkling water. Room was small nice and clean. We had a good breakfast in the morning. Highly recommended this place.

O café da manhã é excelente, comparado a outras unidades Ibis. A equipe é bem preparada para o turista. Localização bem próxima a estação central de trem de Zurique.

O quarto estava impecável, muito bem organizado, com ótima redução de ruído (não escutamos barulhos de bondes e carros na rua, nem dos outros hóspedes). Café da manhã excelente. Voltaremos mais vezes.
