This hotel is minutes from the train station , old town the river and lake . Check in was super smooth and they allowed us to check in way earlier than 3 pm . The hotel has beautiful decor and it is very clean and up to date. The bar is open 24 hours and they have a movie room . The morning breakfast was incredible .

No gym - when I enquired reception told me the affiliated gym didn’t open till 8.30am, which on a Tuesday was incorrect, so I missed it. A hotel with this rating should have their own gym, rather than have access to a third party at a cost of CHF 20. Breakfast was very limited, 15 different flavours of jam but no hot breakfast. It’s done on the cheap. Also no table service on coffee, you have to queue up. This is really a 2* hotel. I won’t be staying again.

Convenient location to train, grocery, old town. Breakfast was good. Note that the building has many rooms and 6 floors served by only 2 slow and small elevators. Only one elevator goes all the way to the top floor. We ended up using the stairs a lot as elevator wait was at times quite long. I would stay again but would try to get a room on a lower floor.

Little to no air conditioning, even though it was advertised as having air conditioning. No phone in the room. No water in the room. No refrigerator in the room. Basically had to check myself in. And on top of everything, a friend was stuck in their elevator for an hour and 45 minutes until someone came to help.

Very snarky clerk (guy) at check-in. Would recommend getting rid of him- We stowed our bags and fortunately female clerk reassigned our room to 5th floor suite. Loved it. Great view of historic district and very spacious. Zero on parking. Breakfast was good. No sauna or workout room. A lot of dining options in the area.

Location is great, staff are very helpful, A/C however is set to -3 temperature which doesn’t cool the room at all in this time of the year. Literally sweeting in the room despite the nice weather outdoors and had a miserable night sleep that ruined every next day. They said it is regulations!!

Just enough room for one luggage and one person. The set up is definitely unique. I stayed in the 6th floor and overall, everything was ok, I was expecting a better experience similar to staying at hotels within the same price range. Location is great, you’re feet away from everything, speciality the train station. The staff was very nice and professional. The breakfast was ok.

Location is superb. Rooms are tiny. We came for a week and the rooms don’t have a wardrobe or even a shelf to put clothes on. We were moved from one room (112) to another (437) slightly larger. Still no storage whatsoever. Rooms were not made when requested. Staff very friendly.

The location is excellent if you’re looking for easy access to Zurich HB Station. There are many restaurants and shops around the hotel, which makes everything very convenient. The hotel staff was very polite and helpful throughout my stay. The room itself was good, but it was really very small.

Mycket trevligt hotell, snyggt och kreativt inrett i ett stiligt hus och som tidigare var Zurich första biograf. Lounge/frukostrummet/baren - allt i ett- är väldigt trivsamt, hela dan och kvällen. Hotellet kunde fått max betyg, om inte rummen var små och hade glas (blästrat, och gardin) till toalett och duschkabin. Kanske finns det större rum?

Huge disappointment- a hostel would have been a better experience. Grateful that we only stayed one night. Multiple issues any of which would have been easily resolved and/or mitigated by staff - staff were rude, dismissive, disrespectful and completely uninterested in guest experience. Hotel was clean enough and in a convenient location - hence the 2 stars. In our short visit multiple staff had opportunities to demonstrate even the tiniest interest in us as guests - our concerns and complaints covered at least two shifts and at least 4 individuals so it was not an isolated incident or individual. The vending machine mini bar on our floor was nearly empty - so much for convenience and lean luxury.

We did not have breakfast at the hotel. The bar was nice and the stuff very attentive and friendly. Be aware is a very self service hotel, which we had no idea. The check in is at the Bar area, and there is no phone in the room to call for assistance. The rooms were clean and well equipped. It was a bit of an odd hotel experience but overall it was good and I would recommend.

I stayed at Ruby Mimi in Zurich and was unfortunately very disappointed with the experience. The hotel itself is stylish, but the level of service was far below what I expect — especially compared to many other hotels I’ve stayed at through Hotels.com. The main issue was around a parking refund. At check-in, we were given instructions that already seemed confusing, but we followed them. At check-out, we were told the complete opposite — and instead of acknowledging the conflicting information from their own staff, the responsibility was placed on us as guests. When I asked for clarification, the issue was dismissed with a comment like “it’s only 11 CHF,” which came across as arrogant and unhelpful. For me, it’s not about the small amount, but about how you speak to and treat your guests. It’s simply not acceptable to shift blame onto customers when the error lies in the hotel’s own internal communication. I travel often and choose hotels based on honest reviews. I hope this helps other travelers make an informed decision. Unfortunately, I won’t be staying here again.

This hotel was in a great location, had terrific service, and the room was nice for two of us. It was near the train and near the water and Old Town. The staff were very helpful and nice. There was a bar and restaurant that looked good Altho we didn't eat there. We hiked zermatt and mt Rigi which were easy to get to by train and boat. (Zermatt is far!). We loved this hotel and would stay here again!

Our stay at the Ruby Mimi was wonderful! The absolute best thing: the hotel perfectly located to access all trains, trams and buses. The staff was also incredibly helpful, particularly Irene who answered any questions we had and was a great help as first timers visiting Zurich! We will definitely come back next time we are in town

The staff deserves 10 stars. When I was asking a few questions about check out, their opinion of how long to give myself at the airport, etc, the gentleman helping me went above and beyond. He also recommended going by train and which train to take and at what time. The building is also very safe and secure, as well as nice amenities and a beautiful bar area. Is also in a great location around the corner from Zurich Hbf

Room was nice. Great location with a quick walk to Old Town or main train station. Staff was great. Our flight was delayed so we missed a night in Zurich. Staff felt bad for us so we were upgraded. Shout out to Nelly at the front desk. Really sweet and helpful. Excellent all around.

Very modern and clean centrally located hotel in Zurich. We had a 1 night stopover and didn’t get much time to explore the area and hotel properly but would recommend as very clean and spacious rooms and convenient location not far from the river. Lots of places nearby for food and drink and the hotel has a bar and restaurant.
