Absolutely loved our stay at The Storchen. The location could not be beat. It is expensive but compared to the other 5 star hotels that I saw in Zurich, this one definitely has the best location. The rooftop is also super fun!

We enjoyed a very quick stay. The staff was kind and attentive, the views from the rooftop bar and restaurant were extraordinary, and the dinner was excellent. They assured us that "normal" clothes at the restaurant were fine, but many diners were elegant. The family suite was quite nice. Great place to stay!

This is probably the nicest place in Zürich for an hotel perspective. Easy to walk around. The boat the hotel has to take you to the other properties is absolutely amazing. The only knock I have is the air conditioning really keep up with the 80° weather. The gym was fair.

It was my birthday weekend, they gave a lovely surprise at breakfast.m, also sent champagne to my room.The room itself was very clean I didn’t want to mess the carpet with my shoes. Breakfast was fantastic with plenty options to choose from. Walking distance to all the attractions. Well equipped gym which I got to use. One of, if not the best hotels I’ve ever stayed.

Excellent hotel in the city center right on the Limmat river with a roof top bar with beautiful view on the Zurich lake. The restaurant where breakfast is served has also a terrace with a great view on the river and the lake. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We arrived by car during the Street Parade (the world's largest techno/electronic music festival) and due to road closures couldn't drive right to the hotel and had to park a couple blocks away so the check in process was not very smooth. The hotel staff however was very helpful. They met us at the garage parking, took care of our car and luggage and walked us to the hotel. Due to the festival, the city was dirty with plenty of garbage lying on the streets and intoxicated people which did not make for the most pleasant walk around the city. If you are not in to the techno/electronic music scene, I would recommend avoiding visiting the city during the Street Parade.

The hotel is in the most perfect location. The room is very clean and the bed is comfortable. However, the room was very very small. We each had a carry on and between the two of us, had a hard time to find a place to open our suitcases without feeling claustrophobic. The concierge guys were amazing and made all the difference. Mr. Ishaq at concierge was very helpful booking us whatever we needed and guiding us to the right direction. Make sure to book and take the hotel free boat ride to the farm Restaurant. The food and views were amazing and the boat ride the best.

Ich habe eine Woche im Storchen Zürich verbracht und mich rundum hervorragend betreut gefühlt. Mein Aufenthalt war von Ruhe, Komfort und großer Aufmerksamkeit geprägt – alles, was man braucht, um sich gut zu erholen. Besonders geschätzt habe ich das durchdachte Zimmer: Das verstellbare Bett mit anpassbarem Kopf- und Fußteil war äußerst hilfreich und komfortabel. Auch der Service war außergewöhnlich aufmerksam – das Frühstück wurde mir auf Wunsch jeden Morgen zuverlässig und diskret vor die Zimmertür gestellt, was ich sehr genossen habe. Ein kleiner Wunsch bleibt: Eine etwas umfangreichere Room-Dining-Karte wäre schön gewesen. Gerade weil die Küche des Hauses hervorragend ist, hätte ich gerne öfter direkt im Hotel bestellt, statt auf externe Lieferdienste zurückzugreifen. Ein großes Lob gilt auch dem Housekeeping: Die Reinigungsdamen waren durchweg herzlich, freundlich und äußerst sorgfältig. Das Zimmer war täglich perfekt gereinigt, und auf Wünsche wurde sofort eingegangen. Abends wurde man zusätzlich mit dem liebevollen Aufdeckservice inklusive kleiner Aufmerksamkeit verwöhnt – eine sehr schöne Geste. Ich war bereits mehrfach Gast im Storchen und werde ganz sicher wiederkommen. Die Lage ist unschlagbar: mitten in der Innenstadt und gleichzeitig direkt am Wasser. Ein Haus mit Charakter, exzellentem Service und echter Gastfreundschaft.

Our experience did not live up to the high ratings. Our room was small with deficiencies. TV did not work, and the soap dispenser in the shower was broken. Overall a feeling of an average hotel at excessive pricing. Will not return.

Our stay in Storchen is so memorable and wonderful . The hotel is located in the Heart of the city, riverfront, and walkable to everything. Very accessible and convenient to all rides: tram, river cruise, bus, etc. We love the staff’s excellent service from the start to the end of our stay. The receptionist are wonderful and like magicians. Your wish is their command. We have an early flight out and kind enough to serve us a room service breakfast around 4:00 am before we leave. They have a shuttle service to send us early for our flight with a very wonderful and knowledgeable driver. Few minutes after we check in our room, they greeted us with 2 bottles of delicious free wine. And the view is remarkable. The rooms are beautiful , well designed, and of great size to accommodate 7 people. Beds are very comfortable. Their is a small refrigerator filled with drinks and delicious goodies. The only issue we found is their are crayons in the closet and the bed floor and mattress wet. The crayons could be from the previous people who stayed before us. And the wet floor and mattress from accidentally spilling water. Otherwise, overall we are very happy and pleased with our stay. Everything is excellent and a wonderful experience. Definitely will be back to stay.

L'albergo è bellissimo, pulito e come location è perfetta, proprio sul fiume (si fa colazione - a buffet, ottima - sulla terrazza che aggetta sull'acqua!). Personale gentilissimo e collaborativo. Tutto raggiungibile a piedi o con poche fermate dei mezzi pubblici (frequentissimi). Dimenticata auto per una settimana. Ristorante stellato ottimo. Unici "difetti" (se proprio proprio vogliamo trovare il pelo nell'uovo) sono: - si trova in zona pedonale e arrivarci in macchina (è consentito) incute timore perché bisogna andare a passo d'uomo in piccole viuzze e sinceramente spero di non aver preso multe da telecamere (la ZTL è attraversabile da chi ha prenotazione in hotel, ma se ti mandano la multa devi poi contestarla mandando ricevuta ecc.) - le etichette sui comandi delle luci in stanza sono poco leggibili (piccole e poco contrasto) per cui si va a tentativi

Nice hotel in the city center right by the lake, however with the extremely high price point I expected more from this hotel. Booked a lake view room and the view was nice, but rooms were small and not much was included with the stay, not even breakfast, so at almost $1000 a night i would not consider this hotel worth it and would not stay here again.

The hotel is in the most perfect location. The room is very clean and the bed is comfortable. However, the room was very very small. We each had a carry on and between the two of us, had a hard time to find a place to open our suitcases without feeling claustrophobic. The concierge guys were amazing and made all the difference. Mr. Ishaq at concierge was very helpful booking us whatever we needed and guiding us to the right direction. Make sure to book and take the hotel free boat ride to the farm Restaurant. The food and views were amazing and the boat ride the best.

Front desk and concierge were amazing. Very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately had a terrible meal there in the Barchetta lounge. My wife had a Cesar salad with a dry, non-edible piece of chicken on it and I ordered a 52 Franc fillet med rare which came out over cooked and dry. Very disappointing as the rest of our stay was lovely.

Absolutely loved our stay at The Storchen. The location could not be beat. It is expensive but compared to the other 5 star hotels that I saw in Zurich, this one definitely has the best location. The rooftop is also super fun!

Everything about this property was exquisite. The room, service, location, everything. The ONLY drawback was attempting to get there to park. It is in the old town that seems like it is pedestrian only. It was VERY nerve-racking driving down those streets packed with people to get there. Once there, it was ideal.

L'albergo è bellissimo, pulito e come location è perfetta, proprio sul fiume (si fa colazione - a buffet, ottima - sulla terrazza che aggetta sull'acqua!). Personale gentilissimo e collaborativo. Tutto raggiungibile a piedi o con poche fermate dei mezzi pubblici (frequentissimi). Dimenticata auto per una settimana. Ristorante stellato ottimo. Unici "difetti" (se proprio proprio vogliamo trovare il pelo nell'uovo) sono: - si trova in zona pedonale e arrivarci in macchina (è consentito) incute timore perché bisogna andare a passo d'uomo in piccole viuzze e sinceramente spero di non aver preso multe da telecamere (la ZTL è attraversabile da chi ha prenotazione in hotel, ma se ti mandano la multa devi poi contestarla mandando ricevuta ecc.) - le etichette sui comandi delle luci in stanza sono poco leggibili (piccole e poco contrasto) per cui si va a tentativi

Excellent hotel in the city center right on the Limmat river with a roof top bar with beautiful view on the Zurich lake. The restaurant where breakfast is served has also a terrace with a great view on the river and the lake. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We arrived by car during the Street Parade (the world's largest techno/electronic music festival) and due to road closures couldn't drive right to the hotel and had to park a couple blocks away so the check in process was not very smooth. The hotel staff however was very helpful. They met us at the garage parking, took care of our car and luggage and walked us to the hotel. Due to the festival, the city was dirty with plenty of garbage lying on the streets and intoxicated people which did not make for the most pleasant walk around the city. If you are not in to the techno/electronic music scene, I would recommend avoiding visiting the city during the Street Parade.

We enjoyed a very quick stay. The staff was kind and attentive, the views from the rooftop bar and restaurant were extraordinary, and the dinner was excellent. They assured us that "normal" clothes at the restaurant were fine, but many diners were elegant. The family suite was quite nice. Great place to stay!

The staff here are the best I have come across. So helpful and somehow always knew which room I was staying in regardless of who was on reception. Rooms are small but very clean. I would opt for a larger room next time. Bathroom again small but very modern. Restaurant looking over the Limmat is superb. Excellent position for both work and pleasure visit to Zurich.
