Terrific location for touring the major sights in Rome. Bus connections from the nearby bus stops will take you most everywhere (if you're not in a rush!). Hotel staff was always friendly and helpful. The terrace bar was closed during our visit. Industrial-strength espresso machine at breakfast was much appreciated! We would return.

Great location! Old building but Renovated property. I did a lot of research to ensure no stinky toilets and the room we stayed in had a great toilet , big bathtub and excellent balcony. The elevator goes upto level 6 and then we walked up level 7. Hotel staff were excellent and it was easy to get a cab booked through front desk as uber did bot work well for us from the hotel.

We mostly enjoyed our stay, with a few hiccups. Firstly the bar upstairs had different posted hours than the actual hours. The bar also kept running out of items needed to make drinks on the menu. Lastly because we had to check out at 3AM and head to the airport, we were told there was an upcharge for the taxi company making it 100 euros. When I inquired about the posted taxi maximum being 55 euros I was informed it was due to the hour. We decided to just go with it as they assured us a confirmed and prompt pick up. Not only did our pick up arrive 10 minutes late, but when I looked inside I noticed it was a car service and not a taxi. When we arrived to the airport, there were other taxis there. I’m not sure what happened here, but I know that the situation could have been explained much better

Centrally located we were able to walk to major attractions such as the Coliseum and Trevi Fountain. The balcony for our room was lovely and the roof top bar was great. Would recommend for anyone who wants to be in the heart of Rome.

Very accessible area. 4 minute walk to Trevi Fountain, 5 minute walk to the Pantheon. 25 minute walk to the Colosseum. Surrounded by plenty of gelato shops and restaurants. Right next to a bus stop which was nice. Hotel was clean and friendly. Make sure to go to the rooftop balcony for your complimentary Prosecco. Breakfast was really good as well. I enjoyed it more than my husband but he wanted more options that it provided. Overall, I would stay again I really enjoyed it.

Great stay at the very central Hotel Regno, walkable to most monuments. Great breakfast and loved taking it out on the roof as well. Would just work on cleanliness, there were multiple scuff marks on the wall on our arrival that for the price of the room per night ($500) is a bit disappointing.

Hotel Regno was an amazing hotel. Walking distance to Trevi Fountain (maybe 5 minute walk), McDonalds was even closer, between Trevi and the hotel. Pantheon was 5 minute walk, Colosseum was about 20ish minute walk. Our room had two small balconies to watch people walk by, noise level was nonexistent, great breakfast, staff is very nice and professional. Helped get a taxi and was at the door within minutes. Everything was very clean and our towels were switched out daily.

Not So Good. No A.C. in March, It was hot 25-27 in room. Had to go to reception to get Thermastat air circulation fan turned on, apparently controlled centrally. Had to open windows for a breeze. It is in a Very Noisy area. Noise and temperature impacted ability to sleep. Also advert stated it had a terrace. but apparently not open till Mid April. Room needs refreshing walls and baseboards are scuffed and curtain hems were dirty. Pros: great location close to all main Tourist spots. Bathroom was nice. Breakfast was tasty. Staff were cheery and helpful.

The room was on the small side but was clean and the bathroom and shower were excellent. The breakfast was excellent and the staff responded to two requests so service I would say is very good. The room was very quiet although the view out the window of interior buildings with broken windows was not great. The location cannot be beat! Walking distance to everything!

Little concerned that this was a small boutique hotel but it turned out great.Good room space and a great shower with a small stocked on the wall fridge(unique). Bed was super comfortable...we had A/C in early May ..so glad..it was warm . Just a 3 minute walk to Trevi Fountain and 4 min to Pantheon. Great location. Staff was fantastic .Paul, Simone and others made our stay very memorable. Thanks Guys. This hotel checked all the important boxes.

We had a very pleasant experience at this hotel. Bed was comfortable, room was clean though smaller than what we were used to. We were so close to literally EVERYTHING! We couldn’t have picked a better hotel!

there was smaller than I expected but was comfortable functional Renovate the shower is excellent in the center close to all attractions on the road so if you open the windows, the noise is unbearable and the window It’s quiet, but there is no air-conditioning

As a prerequisite, I will say I travel for a living 200+ nights per year. My normal stay is at Hilton/Marriott or better. This is a good enough hotel. Positives: Price, location, staff. The price is reasonable for what you get. Breakfast and rooftop bar are ok. Breakfast is typical euro continental. Good food. The room is spacious by location standards. Modern furnishings, though sparse, were adequate and in good order. The location is perfect, central to everything, which is why I chose this hotel. The staff is friendly and courteous, and available 24hrs a day. The not so good. The room had an odd smell. My best description would be maybe a little like a garbage bin? Don’t know if it was our room particularly, but it was off putting. Our first 2 nights, there was no hot water available, which was remedied by night 3, as we were beginning to contemplate finding another hotel. The hotel will arrange transfer for you to and from the airport if you wish, 80euro one way. Pleasant driver. A cab is 58euro as well.

Location is superb, so central for walking to all the main sites. 3 mins to Trevi fountain and 4 mins to Pantheon. External soundproofing is very good so don't hear the noise from the traffic. We had the balcony room on the front of the building and it was fabulous to stand and watch the world go by. Reception staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and had a reasonable range to set you up for the day, scrambled eggs, crispy bacon and sausages as well as cereal, pastries, cakes ,cold meats, cheese and salad. Although only February it was warm enough to take our coffee out onto the roof terrace which was a nice treat. The room was very clean and beds made everyday. There's a kettle, tea and coffee, but could have done with some milk sachets. Minibar wasn't refilled and we only had the water, but initial contents are free. We'd happily stay there again.

Hotel Regno is extremely well located. But it is expensive and the staff was not accommodating at all. I needed a package were i place my medicine to be in a freezer and they didn't want to do it. All other hotels we stayed during this trip did it gladly. We had stayed at this hotel in numerous occasions in the past, but this will be the last time we either stay there or recommend it.

We were extremely disappointed by the appearance and service at Hotel Regno. The photographs online and the actual appearance of the rooms and property were vastly different, the hotel rooftop bar was closed for the duration of our two-night stay for no apparent reason, the breakfast automatic coffee/drinks machine had an acrid taste (and the tea had a greasy sheen on the water), the hallways had a distinct chemical smell (maybe paint) with no discernible reason, and the hotel staff was not at all friendly. Weirdly, the hotel does not have or allow irons or steamers, so no way to press clothing. The only thing going for this place was its fabulous location.

I got scammed from the front desk employee, as her recommended me to reserve a taxi with the hotel to the port with 160 eur which is higher price than uber 120 eur. The hotel told me the price is higher cuz the taxi they gonna reserve has a permission to get us to the port. Unfortunately the taxi just drive us to the port gate and said he cant go anymore

Without hesitation I would Recommend the hotel Regno. We were greeted by a very polite and professional young man. He helped with our luggage, explained everything included in our stay. We were extremely tired from travel room was to be ready by 2 pm, we arrived at 10am and they had our room ready by 11 so we could get some much needed rest. Very central location for walking to different sites. Side note highly recommend Osteria da Fortunata for a meal you can reserve in advance 10 minute walk from hotel. Hotel also arranged for taxi to airport taxi was 10 minutes early, the young man from the hotel and another gentleman helped with our luggage to the taxi, thanked us for staying with them. We had an early morning day trip to Amalfi, and he thoughtfully arranged breakfast to go for us. He also helped organize our taxi to the airport, making our departure stress-free. Top notch staff, very busy and safe area. There had to be at least 50 cafes/restaurants within a 3 block/ 5 min walk that were fantastic. Within a maximum 20 minute walk to either every major attraction or pickup point for all major tours. This was the best possible location to be at for a Rome visit, period.

Excellent location… 3 minutes from Fontana Di Trevi and 7 minutes from Pantheon. Very convenient! Modern facilities, very comfortable bed and shower. Wonderful service! Highly recommended.

Centrally located we were able to walk to major attractions such as the Coliseum and Trevi Fountain. The balcony for our room was lovely and the roof top bar was great. Would recommend for anyone who wants to be in the heart of Rome.

Very accessible area. 4 minute walk to Trevi Fountain, 5 minute walk to the Pantheon. 25 minute walk to the Colosseum. Surrounded by plenty of gelato shops and restaurants. Right next to a bus stop which was nice. Hotel was clean and friendly. Make sure to go to the rooftop balcony for your complimentary Prosecco. Breakfast was really good as well. I enjoyed it more than my husband but he wanted more options that it provided. Overall, I would stay again I really enjoyed it.

Hotel Regno was an amazing hotel. Walking distance to Trevi Fountain (maybe 5 minute walk), McDonalds was even closer, between Trevi and the hotel. Pantheon was 5 minute walk, Colosseum was about 20ish minute walk. Our room had two small balconies to watch people walk by, noise level was nonexistent, great breakfast, staff is very nice and professional. Helped get a taxi and was at the door within minutes. Everything was very clean and our towels were switched out daily.

The room was on the small side but was clean and the bathroom and shower were excellent. The breakfast was excellent and the staff responded to two requests so service I would say is very good. The room was very quiet although the view out the window of interior buildings with broken windows was not great. The location cannot be beat! Walking distance to everything!

We had an fine couple of days at this hotel. Our flight into Rome got delayed and we ended up missing the first night but even with documentation, they wouldn't provide any kind of refund for that night. The hotel is along a main road, but with the nice double pain windows you couldn't hear the street at all. The room itself was ok. Nothing to rave about. Simple, clean and up to date. Breakfast could have used some help. Not a lot of great options - basically a lot of bread and pastries.

I have several complaints #1 cannot get ice until after 6:30 pm that bar opens - this does not make any sense for the price of the room #2 buffet breakfast was not good - same offer every morning and what was not eaten is served the next day - again for the price of the room - the breakfast was very disappointing #3 the breakfast room is not large enough - had difficulty finding appropriate seating

This is a fantastic hotel in the middle of Rome. Super easy access to all of the central historical sites. They are all within a few minutes walking distance. The hotel is clean. The room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable for a family of four. Our room was cleaned daily. Staff at the front desk are fantastic and helpful. Breakfast was good. Not a traditional Italian breakfast, but definitely can be a great start to the day. There is a lovely authentic, Italian bakery next-door. Also, an amazing gelato place, Venchi, on the other corner. We would highly recommend it.
