Great stay and a huge Hilton. The restaurant and bar were exceptional. For driving, it had a large easy parking. For walking, the hotel was within 15 mins from any location in Sorrento. The rooms were spacious and well kept. The views from the Rooms of Mount Vesuvius were unbeatable.

The hotel is on a large ground on a hilltop with a great pool and gardens. The rooms are large and comfortable and the buffet breakfast is spectacular. The only downside is you have to walk up an incline every evening back to the property. We had a great stay.

I loved this hotel so much. You have to walk about to the city center but there is a shortcut make sure you ask. The hotel is phenomenal more like a 5 stars. The pool the rooftop, the restaurants wow they were fantastic. It’s perfect for families!!! Rooms are huge, elevators huge! So so pretty too! Also, they even make their own olive oil! I can’t recommend this place enough

Loved the location and view of Vesuvius from the front of the hotel. Note that if you don’t book a sea view, your room will face the rock wall behind the hotel. The breakfast buffet is excellent but the menu’s for the other on site restaurants were pretty limited on not very kid-friendly. We were there in April and the outdoor pool restaurant wasn’t open yet so we went off site for meals. The hotel caters to conferences this time of year so there was a real business vibe in the place. This seemed to interfere with the indoor pool schedule though which was extremely disappointing for our kids. Call and check the opening times for the pool for every day you are there if it’s important to you and you’re going during conference seasons. One of the banquet areas is beside the pool so they close it mid day sometimes. The hotel is quite walkable from downtown Sorrento and the front desk staff were very helpful. The hotel itself is old which showed in the lack of hot water in our room. Overall I didn’t feel the value was there for what you pay to stay but it had its good points.

We booked for five nights in Sorrento in one of the Sea View, King Bed rooms. The hotel was perfect for our stay and the room was excellent. We had a lovely balcony with a view of the sea and Mount Vesuvius. The staff were always friendly and helpful and the executive lounge was a nice touch. The hotel can easily be walked to from Sorrento train station. We also really enjoyed the gym, outdoor pool and padel courts. We highly recommend this hotel and were sad to leave.

Loved this hotel and location. The view was incredible from the room. The rooms are so spacious. I loved the very large walk in closet with all the built ins..wow! It was so nice to be able to have enough room to open all your luggage and not be in your way. The breakfast buffet everyday was amazing! Staff was incredibly nice. Pools were really well maintained and very clean. Loved everything about this hotel! Would definitely stay here again!

My daughter & I had a wonderful stay @ the property. It is located on top of a hill, so dragging luggage on cobblestones fr Sorrento Station in the heat is not a good idea. Taxi 20 euros…do it! Breakfast was amazing w many delicious options all homemade pastries, fresh eggs.. you name it they have it. The coffee machine gets crowded. In wish coffee was aavl ready made bc it was annoying to stand in line while our food got cold. The view from the restaurant was stunning. The pool was fun w great service, food & drinks. Our room was renovated, but the electricity cut out twice & the shower door leaked. Maintenance got right on these things, which was nice. Turn down service @ night & we had Prosecco waiting for us upon arrival. Thank you! There is a $50 deposit per night if you have a reservation. If I visit again, I may find a more quaint hotel w/ more attentive customer service. Free WiFi for Hilton members

L’emplacement de l’hôtel est très bien avec vue sur la baie de sorrento. Très belle piscine et grands espaces internes, par contre le service est déplorable pour un hôtel de se standing. Personnel pas souriant qui dit à peine bonjour, voiturier qui refuse de vous rapporte votre voiture, serveurs aux bars qui vous évitent. Everything at the hotel was amazing, but there was a problem in our first room. We stayed in 540 where there was an extremely strong smell of mold signifying a leakage. You could also tell from the way the floor in the hallway was buckling. Please make sure to fix this seeing as it could be detrimental to someone’s health.

While the property and surroundings were impressive, I noticed a lack of attention to detail in the cleaning of the rooms. For instance, the soap dispenser was not filled upon check-in, and despite the issue being reported, it was not addressed until the third day of our stay. Additionally, our group of 15 booked six rooms to celebrate a significant birthday. We requested plates and cutlery to enjoy a cake provided by a local baker. However, we were informed that outside food could only be consumed in our rooms and that there would be a charge of €6 per plate for the required items. Given Hilton’s reputation, we found this policy to be disappointing and not in line with the level of service we expected. Based on this experience, I regret to say that I cannot recommend this hotel to my friends and family. Considering the amount we paid and my previous positive experiences with Hilton, I expected a higher standard of service.

The Hilton Sorrento was an amazing four day stay for us. The pool makes for great afternoons with the family for drinks and lunch with amazing views. The hotel is a 8-10 minute walk from central Sorrento and plenty of restaurant and shopping options, use the back entrance to save a few blocks on the walk. The room was spacious and very clean. The bottle of prosecco left for us was delicious. The breakfast was delicious with many options. I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

Os quartos não possuem vedação acústica e todo barulho dos quartos vizinhos, corredor e portas são ouvidos de forma muito alta dentro do quarto, atrapalhando demais o sono durante à noite. Fui à recepção solicitar uma troca de quarto, para um com menos barulho ou circulação de pessoas e o atendente, ironicamente, me sugeriu a suíte presidencial, por uma módica diferença de mais 1200 euros, além do que já havia pago ! Não houve esforço e nem atenção para tentar resolver meu problema e ainda foi muito deselegante.

Great location with a fantastic view of Vesuvius and surrounding town of Sorrento. Breakfast was very good and staff was very friendly and helpful. The Amalfi, Positano, and Ravello tour that they scheduled for us was great. Only issue is that the Wifi while strong needed to be reconnected every time your device went to sleep and there was a charge for it. Just add it to the nightly cost and don’t charge for it.

Rommet vi fikk var i kjelleren i en annen del av bygget. Det føltes som et annet hotell, og at man gikk i gangen i vaskekjelleren. Utsikten var ca 10 m rett mot en fjellvegg. Ingen lys eller sol. Rommet var skuffene, og så ut som en lagerbygning malt i gult, og satt inn senger. Sengene var dog gode, og badet var fint.

Property overall was great. Staff was very friendly. All food options we delicious and the pool was great. Walkable into Sorrento and was not hard to find. Only item to note was the beds/pillows were terrible. Zero support at all. I would stay here again but only if knowing the beds were newer.

The hotel had an indoor and outdoor pool and a paddle ball court and a lemon and orange grove. The breakfast at the hotel was wonderful. The other hotel restaurants were fine but there are so many better dining options within walking distance. We had a balcony with a wonderful view of the sea. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The air conditioning in the room didn’t cool down the room

Beautiful property in every way. The hotel sits on a hill so the view is beautiful. It was walkable for us into Sorrento’s town center however friends that we were traveling with would take a taxi. If you are staying for more than a night or two and looking for a comfortable room, look elsewhere or book a high-end room here. I found the room we were in to be small and very basic. Not even a door on the closet. Only two drawers at the bottom of the closet. It was not comfortable for a six night stay (my opinion). Chairs on the balcony were very uncomfortable. We put pillows on the seats, LOL! The staff was wonderful and even offered to bring us extra drawers.

Property will be excellent once the renovations are complete. Room service needs improvement in options and we should be able to order restaurant offerings as well. Laundry is expensive and the lack of control over the AC is frustrating. Staff is great and the lobby is lovely.

The photos and description of this location are completely false. The pool was locked up with a chain. The halls and areas were empty and not inviting at all, the front desk person who checked us in was rude and not helpful. The whole thing was terrible. For the rate and expected experience, this should have been way better.

Property was spacious and clean. Pool area was nice too. We spent 6 weeks in Italy and in almost every hotel we stayed at the staff were very kind and friendly. We stayed at the Hilton, Sorrento, for 4 nights and apart from one of the bar staff (can't remember his name) who was great, it was difficult to even get a smile or acknowledgement from them. Maybe it's because it is a big hotel chain which makes it more impersonal I'm not sure, but that was our impression.

Front desk service were not nice, not helpful at all, the rooms were not being clean on a daily basis. When we asked for a taxi they sent us with someone that charged us 300 euros and even made stops for him without stopping the meter, took routes that were not main routes to charge us more. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone

Overall it was a good stay. The hotel seems to be a bit much for Sorrento, Italy, And to me was too Americanized. The food was very average for Italy. Breakfast was spectacular, but I couldn’t find a good cup of coffee. All the coffee wasn’t good. Also, another turn off was the smell in the hallway outside our room. I think it’s a cleaning product odor, combined with the heat from the sun, and poor ventilation in the area. Otherwise it was nice.
