Very good hotel! Even in the off season. When it says limited parking it does mean LIMITED as employees take up half the spots. You can still park for the same price and they will pick up your car and drive it to their extra lot, you just need to give them an hour notice if you want your car.

We had a really large family room with 2 bathrooms - it was much larger than expected. The breakfast was lovely. The swimming pool was small but perfect to cool off. Downsides were that our room looked on to a wall and had no balcony so it was very dark - not really a pleasant place for us adults to sit once the children were in bed. The storage wasn't very good - there were no draws at all and hardly any hangers so we had to live out of the suitcases for the week which made the room cluttered as we had 4 and so we needed to leave open on the available surfaces: sofa/table/dressing tables etc.

Can’t say much negative about this hotel. The pool view is stunning, staff were good - excellent service from the breakfast chef who always greeted us with a smile and brightened the mood, breakfast was excellent. Walkable, a little up from the belly of the beast which was really nice. Room was spacious but our only complaint was that the walls are paper thin. We could hear conversations in the room next to us. If you’re a light sleeper, I’d bring ear plugs.

Had a great time here. Fantastic location. Rooms were good, lovely view and very clean, nice pool, very helpful and courteous staff. Only reason I would t give it a full 5 is because I thought the breakfast options was a bit more limited than I had expected. Can’t fault the staff. They were spot on. Just the choice of options was a bit limited. Bar very nice in the evening and prices not to bad. Certainly competitive with bars in town.

The hotel exceeded my expectations. Very close and walkable to everything in sorrento downtown. The pool and deck chairs were great for our july stay. Pool never too crowded. Our room was very large and comfortable for our family of 4. Great stay overall

We enjoyed our stay. Pay for a seaview room or you will be in what feels like the basement. Something else to note which is out of the control of the hotel is that the pool area and sun deck are in shade by 4:30 in the afternoon. Both areas are nice and clean, but the sun is behind the cliffside which casts a shadow on the pool area. The reason I mention it is because I like to take a dip after an excursion and the shade at the pool was a bummer. We were there in September. The front desk staff was extremely helpful with directions, reservations, anything really.

Very nice place that is in great proximity to so much. You can walk anywhere in town and we also walked to Bagni Regina. The restaurant attached, Nino’s, is excellent.

Hotel Rivage is in a perfect location to explore sorrento and you can also easily access the port with a short walk to reach places like Capri, Amalfi and positano. The hotel has easy parking however this is quite expensive. The breakfast selection was very good and staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and was kept clean and tidy.

Mold everywhere!! Not a very friendly staff at reception, they don’t great you. No water pressure in shower, leaks everywhere. Our friends were moved to a 5 star hotel without notice and there was 8 of us in the group

Overall not for me this hotel . Breakfast not as much verity and choice as its only 3 star hotel staff is great at the bar /restaurant. Room was smelled of bleach and bathroom need it upgrade. Towels and bedding was clean and fresh but duvet was stained we had ti asked for replacement. Great location walkable to anywhere right in centre but end of main street much quieter but in Italy its quiet at night time anyways, loads places to eat drink and shop. Was packing available in hotel but €25.00 p/night not too bad for Sorrento. The pool is very very tiny i cant call it pool so on website pics looks good but in reality not a pool like big bath on the roof, we didnt use it at all . I would say its 3 star hotel no more .Overall we had great time in Sorrento it was our last 4 days in Italy after Maratea, Ravello, Amalfi, Praiano and Positano, shame the last 4 days in worst hotel

This hotel had a great view of the ocean and the mountain side. Very good location- walkable. The hotel restaurant was great - Italian breakfast. Lots of areas to rest and relax with amazing views. The only set back for us was the bathroom- the shower was extremely small. Not much toiletries. The room was very basic but clean. The king bed was comfortable. Staff was helpful and kind.

Location just off of the main section of the historical center, whjch was lovely. Breakfast was wonderful. Super clean. Really nice to have a pool to cool off after exploring. Beds were rock hard and very uncomfortable unfortunately.

Family room we stayed in had 2 rooms. 1 room with 2 singles had extremely hard bed and are quite narrow. The double on the other hand was fine! The food and drinks were fab, best Hugo spritz we had was at the hotel. Hotel was very clean and all staff were friendly

We made Rivage Hotel our base for 12 nights and took day trips to all surrounding islands. The hotel is beautiful with excellent location. We liked the friendly staff and the cleanliness. The only issue was the very low water pressure in the shower and sink.

Location location location, this hotel is in a fabulous location. The quality of the breakfast was good. The renovations look great (this was our second time staying here) we enjoyed the pool and seating areas. The reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because our room was directly below the bar area and when they closed and cleaned up for the night the noise kept us awake.

Hotel is comfortable, spotlessly clean and very well located. A few mins walk to via Corso and 15 to railway station. The pool area and dining room have wonderful views of bay of Naples. The breakfast buffet is well-stocked. Our standard double room with balcony was fine but we had no view and could have done with more hanging space for a 7 night stay. The sound proofing between rooms and floors is terrible. Kept awake by a crying baby and then by the dining room above prepping for breakfast. The water pressure was poor in our shower room, the air con flaky and the lighting in the bathroom was inadequate.

The hotel location is perfect for a trip to Sorrento and the facilities are perfect. We enjoyed our ocean view room and the pool. The staff in the restaurant were great. The only reason I am giving the hotel a 4 star is because the bed was not at all comfortable and we came to expect this in Italy but after 6 nights on the bed I was happy to leave - please do your guests a favor and get better beds.

Very nice hotel. The location is great and close walking distance to city center, restaurants and shopping. Also walking distance to the marina and beaches. Beds were a bit hard but nice view with balcony in the room. They only had a shared iron you had to go use in an ironing room and ask for the key each time, which was a hassle. Other than that the staff was great and the breakfast was good.

We spent 5 days at the hotel. Staff were excellent, helping with arranging two tours and answering any questions we had. Due to the time of year, central air had already been turned off, so the room remained a little warm, but not overly hot. If there is one area to improve, it would be the mattress on the bed. This property is very well maintained and at one end of the busy shopping district. It is about a 20 minute walk from the bus and train station. The staff is very helpful and the breakfast is very good. The staff in the breakfast area are kind and efficient. The hotel is also good value for your money (we stayed 4 nights). Can’t say much negative about this hotel. The pool view is stunning, staff were good - excellent service from the breakfast chef who always greeted us with a smile and brightened the mood, breakfast was excellent. Walkable, a little up from the belly of the beast which was really nice. Room was spacious but our only complaint was that the walls are paper thin. We could hear conversations in the room next to us. If you’re a light sleeper, I’d bring ear plugs.

We enjoyed our stay. Pay for a seaview room or you will be in what feels like the basement. Something else to note which is out of the control of the hotel is that the pool area and sun deck are in shade by 4:30 in the afternoon. Both areas are nice and clean, but the sun is behind the cliffside which casts a shadow on the pool area. The reason I mention it is because I like to take a dip after an excursion and the shade at the pool was a bummer. We were there in September. The front desk staff was extremely helpful with directions, reservations, anything really.

Hotel Rivage was fantastic. The location is perfect for staying in town and being near the main plaza. It is conveniently located near all the restaurants and shopping!
