O hotel tem uma vista linda, com uma piscina excelente. O restaurante também é muito bom, assim como o café da manhã. A equipe da recepção é muito eficiente, estão todos de parabéns. Acho que o hotel só peça um pouco na limpeza e no conforto do quarto. Nesses pontos entendo que deixou a desejar, especialmente se considerado o valor pago pela diária.
O hotel tem uma vista linda, com uma piscina excelente. O restaurante também é muito bom, assim como o café da manhã. A equipe da recepção é muito eficiente, estão todos de parabéns. Extremely welcoming & helpful staff. Reception desk are great at recommending excursions and making restaurant bookings. The shuttle bus to and from Taormina is very efficient. Although the 600 steps path is highly recommended once, for the views. And all the views from the hotel are out of this world.

It’s difficult to convey how much this hotel exceeded our expectations. We booked last minute without much in formation about the hotel. The photographs online were mixed. But when we were shown our suite, we were blown away. It was completely brand new. The bed was the comfiest bed we’d ever slept in. The view is the best view from a bed we’ve ever had. The furnishings and products are amazing. Next we explored the pool area. There is an absolutely stunning infinite pool overlooking the sea. Finally, the staff…they were all incredibly helpful, charming, and lovely. We spent the last day of a ten day trip here, and it really made leaving for raining England even harder. Thank you for a wonderful stay. P.s. There is also a free shuttle bus to the town and we were allowed ti enjoy the pool for a whole day after our morning check out.

You cannot beat the view from this hotel of mount etna, the coast and Taormina from above - it was outstanding. You saw this from the restaurant, the infinity pool and also our room. It does mean you are above the town which requires a walk down a fair number of steps into town (and back up) or use of the free hourly hotel shuttle, but the walk is also beautiful and was very doable in October’s mild weather. It also means you are aware from the crowds in a very quiet area. The hotel felt warm and homely and the service was excellent. We loved having a cocktail in the cosy lounge in the evening whilst relaxing on the sofas. Rooms were comfortable with a choice of pillows. Air con was on the noisy side but wasn’t essential for us in Autumn. Parking was very easy on the street outside of the hotel and free. Overall, it was on the pricey side but worth paying a bit more for getting to stay somewhere quite special.

This is it! The very best place to stay in Taormina with breathtaking views, amazing service and the most hospitable staff that treated us like VIP’s( Thank you Santina!). I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to going back to enjoy the perfect Sicilian holiday. They took care of our car and parked it safely away during our time in Taormina. We took advantage of the convenient shuttle up and down to the town center(5 minutes away). The view and experience at this hotel is what one dreams about and Villa Ducale delivers it all the way. Stop searching- this is it!!! Complimenti to the staff who made us feel like family and very special. We had an amazing room with a terrace where we enjoyed our lunch- the food was delicious. Every morning the breakfasts were so wonderful- Max always gives you service with his charm! It was hard to leave but we will definitely go back whenever we go back to Taormina!

Firstly, i am the type of person who does extensive amount of research before travelling on which hotel to stay at. Looking at most hotels in Taormina, before finally deciding to stay here. At Villa Ducale. The room was fantastic, and we stayed in one of the smaller ones. The location in the hills gives you a calm setting with hardly any noice and not a single disturbance. Still in walking distance from the town and main street, with many great restaurants and sights only being a 20 min. walk. With cozy streets leading the way and a breathtaking view, walking down from the hills. One of the largest debates i had with myself prior to booking, was that it wasn't close to the ocean / beach. This turned out to be no issue at all, with great (free) shuttle services leading you to a selection of great locations & beach clubs (which were all fairly priced). Most days we could book the time for the shuttle on our request, so little to no adaptation to a set time schedule. So you get the best of both worlds here, with the serenity of being away from the crowds and with breathtaking views. Still having easy access to the beautiful beaches & ocean. The service is beyond great, and the staff have a wonderful personal touch and attention to detail to everything, making your stay special. The pool and sunbeds in the garden are a great addition, and the restaurant, drinks and breakfast are excellent. We are already planning our next stay, Truly a great experience,

Absolutely stunning property. I would highly recommend this hotel. I didn’t want to leave. Views are heaven. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The hotel aesthetic is breathtaking. The walk to town is about 15 minutes downhill, doable plus hotel runs shuttles into town every hour. Stay here, you won’t regret it.

Hotel has a spectacular view. It’s at the very top so it takes longer to get to and from town but If you like to walk stairs and see wonderful views, this is a great place. The hotel itself is a bit dated in style, but There are pockets of contemporary features throughout as well. The hotel was very clean and everyone was very accommodating and extremely friendly. Common terraces and the restaurant are superb. The pool is very small and outdated.

Tremendous view from room, restaurant of Mt. Etna (it was clear one night and we could see eruptions) , Taormina and Ionian sea. Excellent, gracious service in hotel and restaurant. Our deluxe double bedroom was a little small, but there was an extensive drawers in the alcove closet area. the bathroom was spacious and well equipped. Street parking is free but and is in most of Italy, challenging. Only tiny plunge pool. Pistachio crusted lamb excellent, Other meal and Breakfast had a nice variety and was good.

This was hands down our best European hotel experience. We were treated like royalty from the moment we arrived and our luggage was taken care of immediately, to the relaxed check in process and before check out we were offered to stay later (evening flight) and continue to enjoy the hotel amenities (including a changing room shower). The breakfasts was delicious, staff extremely courteous and helpful. Our room was cleaned daily and the beds were made again even when we just stepped out for a few hours. Everyone was extremely professional, took pride in their work and seemed to truly enjoy it. We cannot wait to go back. Grazie!!!

A beautiful hotel where we were made to feel at home from the moment we arrived. Away from the heaving town centre with stunning views we were warmly welcomed and looked after during our stay. Daniel was a star and provided us brilliant guidance and recommendations.. all the restaurants suggested were a hit! Our room (junior suite) was spotless and very comfortable with a huge bed. If we had one gripe it would be that there was no water provided in the room but had to purchase a bottle at the bar. A small touch of providing a cold bottle of water in the mini bar would have been the final touch on an otherwise perfect stay. The complementary shuttle service to the town was a great touch and we used it regularly… you’re looking at a €20 taxi each way otherwise. The restaurant has stunning views and breakfast was plentiful. Had both dinner and lunch from the a la carte menu and the quality of food was high it not a little pricey. Definitely recommend a stay here and we’ll be back for sure.

This place was magical. We had booked another place and was extremely disappointing. We took the plunge to move places and Ducale came through in the min and nothing but a complete dream. The staff was super welcoming and helpful. The place is beautiful overlooking the sea away from the riff raff. Food was great, bedroom and amenities were all amazing. I wish we had more nights with them.

We were traveling throughout Sicily stayed at a number of hotels but this GEM is the absolute BEST. 1800 feet above downtown Taormina with UNBELIEVABLE views. Our room had 2 large balconies looking out on the water Santina was the best hostess. Free shuttle to downtown

Hotel has a spectacular view. It’s at the very top so it takes longer to get to and from town but If you like to walk stairs and see wonderful views, this is a great place. The hotel itself is a bit dated in style, but There are pockets of contemporary features throughout as well. The hotel was very clean and everyone was very accommodating and extremely friendly. Common terraces and the restaurant are superb. The pool is very small and outdated.

Tremendous view from room, restaurant of Mt. Etna (it was clear one night and we could see eruptions) , Taormina and Ionian sea. Excellent, gracious service in hotel and restaurant. Our deluxe double bedroom was a little small, but there was an extensive drawers in the alcove closet area. the bathroom was spacious and well equipped. Street parking is free but and is in most of Italy, challenging. Only tiny plunge pool. Pistachio crusted lamb excellent, Other meal and Breakfast had a nice variety and was good.

Extremely welcoming & helpful staff. Reception desk are great at recommending excursions and making restaurant bookings. The shuttle bus to and from Taormina is very efficient. Although the 600 steps path is highly recommended once, for the views. And all the views from the hotel are out of this world.

It’s difficult to convey how much this hotel exceeded our expectations. We booked last minute without much in formation about the hotel. The photographs online were mixed. But when we were shown our suite, we were blown away. It was completely brand new. The bed was the comfiest bed we’d ever slept in. The view is the best view from a bed we’ve ever had. The furnishings and products are amazing. Next we explored the pool area. There is an absolutely stunning infinite pool overlooking the sea. Finally, the staff…they were all incredibly helpful, charming, and lovely. We spent the last day of a ten day trip here, and it really made leaving for raining England even harder. Thank you for a wonderful stay. P.s. There is also a free shuttle bus to the town and we were allowed ti enjoy the pool for a whole day after our morning check out.

This was hands down our best European hotel experience. We were treated like royalty from the moment we arrived and our luggage was taken care of immediately, to the relaxed check in process and before check out we were offered to stay later (evening flight) and continue to enjoy the hotel amenities (including a changing room shower). The breakfasts was delicious, staff extremely courteous and helpful. Our room was cleaned daily and the beds were made again even when we just stepped out for a few hours. Everyone was extremely professional, took pride in their work and seemed to truly enjoy it. We cannot wait to go back. Grazie!!!

A beautiful hotel where we were made to feel at home from the moment we arrived. Away from the heaving town centre with stunning views we were warmly welcomed and looked after during our stay. Daniel was a star and provided us brilliant guidance and recommendations.. all the restaurants suggested were a hit! Our room (junior suite) was spotless and very comfortable with a huge bed. If we had one gripe it would be that there was no water provided in the room but had to purchase a bottle at the bar. A small touch of providing a cold bottle of water in the mini bar would have been the final touch on an otherwise perfect stay. The complementary shuttle service to the town was a great touch and we used it regularly… you’re looking at a €20 taxi each way otherwise. The restaurant has stunning views and breakfast was plentiful. Had both dinner and lunch from the a la carte menu and the quality of food was high it not a little pricey. Definitely recommend a stay here and we’ll be back for sure.

This is it! The very best place to stay in Taormina with breathtaking views, amazing service and the most hospitable staff that treated us like VIP’s( Thank you Santina!). I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to going back to enjoy the perfect Sicilian holiday. They took care of our car and parked it safely away during our time in Taormina. We took advantage of the convenient shuttle up and down to the town center(5 minutes away). The view and experience at this hotel is what one dreams about and Villa Ducale delivers it all the way. Stop searching- this is it!!! Complimenti to the staff who made us feel like family and very special. We had an amazing room with a terrace where we enjoyed our lunch- the food was delicious. We had a wonderful time at this home away from home. The staff were the most welcoming and warm that we have ever encountered, and showed superb hospitality at every aspect of our stay. You cannot beat the view from this hotel of mount etna, the coast and Taormina from above - it was outstanding. You saw this from the restaurant, the infinity pool and also our room. It does mean you are above the town which requires a walk down a fair number of steps into town (and back up) or use of the free hourly hotel shuttle, but the walk is also beautiful and was very doable in October’s mild weather. It also means you are aware from the crowds in a very quiet area. The hotel felt warm and homely and the service was excellent. We loved having a cocktail in the cosy lounge in the evening whilst relaxing on the sofas. Rooms were comfortable with a choice of pillows. There are many wonderful things about Taormina. It's a magical place. But for us, our Taormina experience was exponentially enhanced by our stay at Hotel Villa Ducale. It is an exceptionally beautiful property, with stunning views of the town, the sea, the coastline, and mount Etna. We absolutely loved our suite, with its private entrance and the view of the coastline, its exquisite décor, super comfy bed, and unexpected amenities such as free drinks in the fridge, and Etro toiletries and Etro robe. After a day of sightseeing, we looked forward to unwinding at the terrace with a glass of wine overlooking the most majestic view of Sicily we could only have dreamed of. I could write an entire essay on the staff, which was as impressive as the views from the hotel. From the reception office to the wait staff and bartender, to the person in charge of parking our car in an impossibly tight and coveted spot, they made our stay unforgettable. Taormina is a very busy, crowded, and noisy town. Hotel Villa Ducale is quiet and peaceful. It provided us with the space to rest well and recharge. The hotel is well located, between Taormina and Castelmola, (about 15-20 minutes walk to either town), an added benefit, since parking is virtually impossible.

Firstly, i am the type of person who does extensive amount of research before travelling on which hotel to stay at. Looking at most hotels in Taormina, before finally deciding to stay here. At Villa Ducale. The room was fantastic, and we stayed in one of the smaller ones. The location in the hills gives you a calm setting with hardly any noice and not a single disturbance. Still in walking distance from the town and main street, with many great restaurants and sights only being a 20 min. walk. With cozy streets leading the way and a breathtaking view, walking down from the hills. One of the largest debates i had with myself prior to booking, was that it wasn't close to the ocean / beach. This turned out to be no issue at all, with great (free) shuttle services leading you to a selection of great locations & beach clubs (which were all fairly priced). Most days we could book the time for the shuttle on our request, so little to no adaptation to a set time schedule. So you get the best of both worlds here, with the serenity of being away from the crowds and with breathtaking views. Still having easy access to the beautiful beaches & ocean. The service is beyond great, and the staff have a wonderful personal touch and attention to detail to everything, making your stay special. The pool and sunbeds in the garden are a great addition, and the restaurant, drinks and breakfast are excellent. We are already planning our next stay, Truly a great experience,

O hotel tem uma vista linda, com uma piscina excelente. O restaurante também é muito bom, assim como o café da manhã. A equipe da recepção é muito eficiente, estão todos de parabéns. Acho que o hotel só peça um pouco na limpeza e no conforto do quarto. Nesses pontos entendo que deixou a desejar, especialmente se considerado o valor pago pela diária.

This place was magical. We had booked another place and was extremely disappointing. We took the plunge to move places and Ducale came through in the min and nothing but a complete dream. The staff was super welcoming and helpful. The place is beautiful overlooking the sea away from the riff raff. Food was great, bedroom and amenities were all amazing. I wish we had more nights with them.

A beautiful hotel where we were made to feel at home from the moment we arrived. Away from the heaving town centre with stunning views we were warmly welcomed and looked after during our stay. Daniel was a star and provided us brilliant guidance and recommendations.. all the restaurants suggested were a hit! Our room (junior suite) was spotless and very comfortable with a huge bed. If we had one gripe it would be that there was no water provided in the room but had to purchase a bottle at the bar. A small touch of providing a cold bottle of water in the mini bar would have been the final touch on an otherwise perfect stay. The complementary shuttle service to the town was a great touch and we used it regularly… you’re looking at a €20 taxi each way otherwise. The restaurant has stunning views and breakfast was plentiful. Had both dinner and lunch from the a la carte menu and the quality of food was high it not a little pricey. Definitely recommend a stay here and we’ll be back for sure.

Firstly, i am the type of person who does extensive amount of research before travelling on which hotel to stay at. Looking at most hotels in Taormina, before finally deciding to stay here. At Villa Ducale. The room was fantastic, and we stayed in one of the smaller ones. The location in the hills gives you a calm setting with hardly any noice and not a single disturbance. Still in walking distance from the town and main street, with many great restaurants and sights only being a 20 min. walk. With cozy streets leading the way and a breathtaking view, walking down from the hills. One of the largest debates i had with myself prior to booking, was that it wasn't close to the ocean / beach. This turned out to be no issue at all, with great (free) shuttle services leading you to a selection of great locations & beach clubs (which were all fairly priced). Most days we could book the time for the shuttle on our request, so little to no adaptation to a set time schedule. So you get the best of both worlds here, with the serenity of being away from the crowds and with breathtaking views. Still having easy access to the beautiful beaches & ocean. The service is beyond great, and the staff have a wonderful personal touch and attention to detail to everything, making your stay special. The pool and sunbeds in the garden are a great addition, and the restaurant, drinks and breakfast are excellent. We are already planning our next stay, Truly a great experience,

Tremendous view from room, restaurant of Mt. Etna (it was clear one night and we could see eruptions) , Taormina and Ionian sea. Excellent, gracious service in hotel and restaurant. Our deluxe double bedroom was a little small, but there was an extensive drawers in the alcove closet area. the bathroom was spacious and well equipped. Street parking is free but and is in most of Italy, challenging. Only tiny plunge pool. Pistachio crusted lamb excellent, Other meal and Breakfast had a nice variety and was good.

We received a warm, friendly greeting and were offered a welcome glass of Prosecco in the bar / restaurant area with great views of Mount Etna. We had a lovely room which was clean, comfortable and roomy. Great breakfast with a wide choice of foods including fresh fruit, cheeses, meats, cereals and pastries. Fabulous views of beautiful Taormina. The swimming pool was lovely, a great place to chill and overlook the great view. Shuttle service to and from the main town area a great and very welcome service.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful with stunning views. The staff are so welcoming & friendly. Excellent food in the restaurant- the room was amazing & comfortable equipped with all the amenities that you would need. Highly recommend - only regret is that we didn’t stay longer!

We stayed for our honeymoon and loved the view. But unfortunately the first room we were placed in had a funky smell and after a few days of it not going away my wife was getting a headache and we also noticed there was mold on the walls of the bathroom and peeling wall paper with some water damage. We asked to move rooms and were placed in a new room and that shower also had a leak that left the floor towel soaked after each shower. We did have attentive staff when we asked for help. The best part was the view and eating breakfast with the help of Max, he was great and remembered that I needed gluten free options and would bring them each day when he saw us. We would have loved the place overall but had no luck speaking with the manager about the sub par room and didn’t receive any compensation.
