Good hotel. We had a great corner unit with spectacular view of the water and sunrise. The pool area was nice but I thought I would use the pool during my 4 day stay but never got a chance as the pool was cold and it didn't get much sun in the afternoon because it faces east. The hot tub was cold and the whole pool and hot tub area close at 6pm which was too bad because if the hot tub was actually hot it would be good to be there in late afternoon or in the evening. The hotel is not very modern and the rooms a little dated but in general I think it was a great hotel and about a 10 min walk to the main town. They have parking close by for 20 euro per day but it was not easy to find this hotel in the beginning. Google maps was taking us to a different spot and we had to find a small sign on the street saying to snap a pic of the QR code for the instructions on how to get there by car. When you park it is very confusing how to get to the main reception, you are just walking up these stairs, walking into the building through the pool area, take the elevator to the second floor which you exit in the patio area and walk across the patio to the entrance of the reception. Staff was friendly and they helped us get to the parking area which was in the property next door. Breakfast was big but there wasn't that much variety day to day. I would recommend to stay here but make sure to get a nice waterview room.

This is a reasonably priced resort style hotel with a lovely ambience. The weekly Sicilian Night was fantastic with a feast of Sicilian food and live music. Terrific breakfasts as well as open air terrace dining. So glad we chose to stay here.

Part of a fly drive around Sicily, this hotel has excellent facilities and entertainment. The village is a ten minute walk and not a flat walk but we managed it twice a day.

This is one of the most beautiful properties we’d ever had the pleasure to experience. The views are stunning. We were surrounded with abundant fruit trees like mangoes and quince. There were colorful flowers everywhere nestled below stately royal palms. The food and wine were excellent. The breakfast buffet was magnificent - especially the fresh squeezed blood orange juice. The pool and patio dining were relaxing. The nightly relaxing live music was wonderful. We enjoyed the Sicilian banquet music as well. The staff were always going above and beyond and were friendly. We would happily ho back there and heartily recommend.

This is a large hotel with beautiful grounds and pool. It is definitely an older hotel in need of some work, but we were comfortable. Beds and pillows were comfy. The breakfast was very good…lots of variety. The pool area is lovely but when we were there it was closed often. When asked why, they said it had rained in the morning, but it was lovely and warm in the afternoon. They said they had sent the lifeguard home when it rained. The location is good…about 15 minutes walk to the centre of town and the funicular is around the corner. We couldn’t get parking on site but were sent to a place nearby. Complimentary cookies and a bottle of wine were left in our room. We had a balcony with a nice view.

The property was beautiful and the restaurant on site was great for convenient meals. We were traveling with a 2 year old and found the elevators quite cumbersome because you had to take multiple elevators to get to different areas. Also, didn’t love that there was no shallow end in the pool, only a small ledge around the pool.

Ett väldigt bra hotell, vi hade rum med balkong mot havet. Alla softdrinks i minibaren ingick hela veckan. Bra poolområde med gratis poolhandduk. Fanns alltid lediga solstolar. Bra frukost med stort utbud. Toppen lunchservering. Gångavstånd till linbanan, amfiteatern och stan. Rekommenderar verkligen detta hotell!

The only good thing about this hotel is the central location in Taormina. The rooms are in serious need of renovating and updating. The pictures posted on this website are very misleading. My first room was horrendous. The smell of mildew permeated the bathroom, my shower door did not close properly and the bathroom shelf was broken. The room itself was not cleaned properly upon my arrival. The dresser tops were dirty and the closet drawer was broken. I asked for a new room the next morning and although they accommodated my request, the room was not much of an upgrade. Daily room cleaning was an embarrassment. Every day, I returned to a room that was not serviced. Every day, upon my return, I had to go down to reception and ask for my room to be cleaned and wait in the lobby for 45 minutes until it was complete. After the third day, I asked the front desk in the morning to please have my room cleaned. Although they acknowledged my request, my return every afternoon prompted the same result.. and unattended room that I had to ask multiple times to be serviced. Once they actually attended to my room, all they did was refresh my towels and make my bed. Nothing else was cleaned. There were times where they didn't even empty the trash bin in the bathroom.

Mould in the room: there’s obviously been a leak somewhere. There was a damp smell also. There was also mould around the AC. Bathroom was very dated. Not sure how the hotel merits a 4 star. Bed had a noticeable ridge on the middle.

Excellent location for the bus station and a short walk to the town centre. Lovely pool area. Very clean. Sicilian night highly recommended. Buffet and food very good. Lots of steps around the hotel but the whole town is very hilly! Those with mobilty issues may struggle. Over-all, a very good hotel and enoyed our stay in beautiful Taormina 😍

A lovely hotel, within 15 mins walking of the centre of Taormina. Nice pool and great varied breakfast. Some of the hotel looks a bit tired but it is clean.

El hotel es amplio, la alberca y las vistas linda, hay que considerar que para llegar las calles son muy empinadas, el cuarto es amplio pero sucio, las toallas de la alberca y del hotel ya son muy viejas y se sienten ásperas y huelen a humedad igual que la habitación y las sábanas, el desayuno es rico.

Air condition didn’t work well and was SO NOISY! Bed was AWFUL! No real greeting when arriving and no personality when checking out. Never was asked how our stay was or even a ‘Hope you stay again’ Would never recommend this hotel. The only thing good about it was the location to town and the view from our room

The hotel is in a very good location but driving there or renting a car is not a good idea. No where to park, even if you park at hotel's parking paying 20 Euro a day still getting in and out of the area is terrible. By the time we arrived at the hotel and found the hotel entrance it took us 2 hours and very stressful. Hotel is in a very nice location and there is a nearby bus/coach stop if you need excursion. Staff is good but the hotel definitely needs updating. doors, bathroom parts are falling apart. There is too much noise, the noise from the bar/restaurant entertainment being the main contributor. There is no sound insulation so you will hear everything inside next door room and outside. Breakfast was good.

By the time we arrived at the hotel and found the hotel entrance it took us 2 hours and very stressful. Hotel is in a very nice location and there is a nearby bus/coach stop if you need excursion. Staff is good but the hotel definitely needs updating. doors, bathroom parts are falling apart. There is too much noise, the noise from the bar/restaurant entertainment being the main contributor. There is no sound insulation so you will hear everything inside next door room and outside. Breakfast was good.

Hotellet lå fint til ifht gamlebyen . Enkelt ifht transport da det er rett ved buss stasjon. Fint bassengområdet og god frokost Rommer var veldig varmt!! Det er ikke aircondition som det står i annonsen. Er kun ventilasjons anlegg. På mitt rom virket dette ikke, fikk nytt rom der det heller ikke virket. Fikk opp en manuell vifte , men det var fryktelig varmt om natten, noe som ødeland oppholdet .

Wir haben das Hotel auch wegen der Nähe zum Busbahnhof gewählt. Natürlich haben uns auch die vielen guten Bewertungen überzeugt. Tatsächlich waren wir von der Ausstattung der Zimmer etwas enttäuscht. Obwohl wir getrennte Betten und eine Dusche bestellt hatten und uns fies bestätigt wurde, hatte unser Zimmer 258 genau das nicht. Es war zwar groß und wahrscheinlich für Behinderte ausgestattet, aber das auch nicht konsequent. Das Doppelbett war sehr niedrig und im Bad war eine behindertengerechte Toilette. Aber wie hätte ein Rollstuhlfahrer in die Badewanne kommen sollen? Zudem ist das Zimmer direkt neben dem Fahrstuhl, den man im Zimmer hört. Der Ausblick vom Balkon war ernüchternd. Man blickt auf eine hässliche Wand. Licht kommt nur von oben. Dieses Zimmer entsprach also absolut nicht unseren Erwartungen und Vorgaben. Die Rezeptionistin war sehr nett und hatte Verständnis, hatte aber für die erste Nacht trotzdem kein anderes Zimmer. Ab der zweiten Nacht waren wir in Zimmer 222. We loved it here, traditional Italian hotel, very spacious, lovely pool but it is deep, we had a sea view which was spectacular and had a large lovely light room, good breakfast really friendly & helpful staff and piano in the evening, it’s about 15 mins to walk up to the centre so may be abit much for anyone with walking difficulties. It isn’t modern but I’m glad it isn’t, for the price it’s excellent. cable car to the beach and it’s at the bus station with lots of options including tour buses, it’s quite an event going up & down the winding roads on them!

Let’s start with the positives, the staff here were really friendly the receptionist was kind and let us check in early which we really appreciated as we had a very long journey before arrival. We have been in Italy for two weeks and this was the most expensive hotel we booked to stay in, which was a superior room with sea view. The location if you are travelling in by the bus is fantastic it’s literally outside the hotel. Moving on to the room itself was a little disappointing. As it was badges as a superior room we expected a little more from it, with the furniture in part looking scuffed/dirty, and holes in the curtains it didn’t really give that superior feeling we had experienced elsewhere. The view was a sea view as promised, we only stayed for one night i would have been staying for more I would have felt more disappointed. In terms of costs for Taormina, its still probably considered cheap. To mention breakfast was plentiful in the morning, with lots of options which was appreciated it’s just the rooms need a little TLC or don’t badge them as superior would be my recommendation

What a lovely hotel. My wife and I have just got back and the only downside is that we wish we stayed longer. The hotel is perfectly located with beautiful sea views and a short walk to the shops and restaurants of Taormina. The rooms were comfortable and a decent size. We were pleasantly surprised to have a bottle of champagne waiting for us to enjoy. The breakfast was vey tasty and with good choice. The reception staff were very polite and helpful and always offered good advice regarding things to do and see. We will certainly return as it was a fantastic holiday all round.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. We had wished we were in the main building with some sort of balcony or view but our building was still maintained fairly well and we had a lot of space in our room! We really loved the area since it was very close to the cable car and to the historic city center. We also really loved the hotel for its views, terrace and views. It is important to note parking must be reserved ahead of time! And it is a short but hilly walk. There may also be a long walk to your room so that’s another note! The staff were all very friendly and helpful!

Tired, run-down & dirty. Should be 3* at most. Paid extra for a balcony - tiny and beside a rock face, so pointless! Breakfast included stale fruit & bread, machine coffee & powdered egg! The staff treat you like you're a nuisance rather than a customer & are totally incompetent. We arrived in a thunderstorm, desperate to get out of wet clothes. The guy on reception couldn't find our booking on his paper list despite having our passports with our names. A package tour bus arrived & he just tried to move on and ignore us and serve them first. I was soaking wet, so I challenged that and he looked at his list again and found us, threw a key at us - no apology, no welcome. On another occasion, I asked one of the 3 girls who do nothing all day at reception (well, actually on this occasion she was firing staples into a blank folded up piece of paper) to ensure our room got cleaned that day as the previous day, it wasn't cleaned at all despite us being out all day. She replied 'You will have to tell him' and pointed to the 1 guy on reception doing any work - dealing with another a customer and their complaints. The pool area is large but in the 3 days we stayed there, no one went in it as it's unheated/too cold. It's also a death trap for kids as it's 2 metres all the way around. Location is good - but you'd struggle to find anywhere that wasn't good in Taormina as it's a small town. Parking is a nightmare - like everywhere in Sicily. Glad we only had to stay there 3 days. AVOID!

Great stay, staff very friendly especially Dan who went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. Only complaint is the bus tours, they all decend on the restaurant at once overwhelming the staff and other guests. May be better if they seperates them from the non bus tour guests and had seperate dinner/bfast times.

Amazing hotel with amazing views. Best pool breakfast above and beyond It’s right near the bus stop so you can actually catch the bus or one euro from the train station which we did not know a very simple location. Easy to walk to the centre. The staff were incredible. Will definitely return

I had a brilliant stay here, with a beautiful room on the fourth floor, that had a great view. The hotel is a great location just next to the bus station, cable car and a short uphill walk to the town which is handy when it’s hot outside. Great location!

The hotel is in a very good location but driving there or renting a car is not a good idea. No where to park, even if you park at hotel's parking paying 20 Euro a day still getting in and out of the area is terrible. Would come back with no hesitation! Hotel was situated on a hill above the sea but with elevators it was totally assessible. Lovely pool, 2 min walk to the bus station that brings you to the train station for 1.1 euros! 4 minute walk to restaurants and 10 minute flat walk to Messina Gate which is where the beautiful streets with restaurants and shops are located. Just a perfect stay!

This is a large hotel with beautiful grounds and pool. It is definitely an older hotel in need of some work, but we were comfortable. Beds and pillows were comfy. The breakfast was very good…lots of variety. The pool area is lovely but when we were there it was closed often. When asked why, they said it had rained in the morning, but it was lovely and warm in the afternoon. They said they had sent the lifeguard home when it rained. The location is good…about 15 minutes walk to the centre of town and the funicular is around the corner. We couldn’t get parking on site but were sent to a place nearby. Complimentary cookies and a bottle of wine were left in our room. We had a balcony with a nice view.

The waiter Daniele was absolutely amazing. He went out of his way for us every single breakfast and evening with always a smile on his face. Couldn't recommended the hotel enough, only thing that would have made it better was if water was included in the dinner package, wasn't specific when we booked.

There are breathtaking views from te hotel. The bus station is very close and it's a walkable distance from downtown and many options for dinning. The breakfast is amazing, lots of options, fresh fruits, fresh orange juice and a Nutella machine! Wonderful!

This is a reasonably priced resort style hotel with a lovely ambience. The weekly Sicilian Night was fantastic with a feast of Sicilian food and live music. Terrific breakfasts as well as open air terrace dining. So glad we chose to stay here.

This is one of the most beautiful properties we’d ever had the pleasure to experience. The views are stunning. We were surrounded with abundant fruit trees like mangoes and quince. There were colorful flowers everywhere nestled below stately royal palms. The food and wine were excellent. The breakfast buffet was magnificent - especially the fresh squeezed blood orange juice. The pool and patio dining were relaxing. The nightly relaxing live music was wonderful. We enjoyed the Sicilian banquet music as well. The staff were always going above and beyond and were friendly. We would happily ho back there and heartily recommend.

Tired, run-down & dirty. Should be 3* at most. Paid extra for a balcony - tiny and beside a rock face, so pointless! Breakfast included stale fruit & bread, machine coffee & powdered egg! The staff treat you like you're a nuisance rather than a customer & are totally incompetent. We arrived in a thunderstorm, desperate to get out of wet clothes. The guy on reception couldn't find our booking on his paper list despite having our passports with our names. A package tour bus arrived & he just tried to move on and ignore us and serve them first. I was soaking wet, so I challenged that and he looked at his list again and found us, threw a key at us - no apology, no welcome. On another occasion, I asked one of the 3 girls who do nothing all day at reception (well, actually on this occasion she was firing staples into a blank folded up piece of paper) to ensure our room got cleaned that day as the previous day, it wasn't cleaned at all despite us being out all day. She replied 'You will have to tell him' and pointed to the 1 guy on reception doing any work - dealing with another a customer and their complaints. The pool area is large but in the 3 days we stayed there, no one went in it as it's unheated/too cold. It's also a death trap for kids as it's 2 metres all the way around. Location is good - but you'd struggle to find anywhere that wasn't good in Taormina as it's a small town. Parking is a nightmare - like everywhere in Sicily. Glad we only had to stay there 3 days. AVOID!

The pool is really nice addition, breakfast buffet was outstanding. I didn’t really love the fact that I had to walk a little distance to get to my room, having said that I had a lovely little terrace out front, which was nice.

This is a large hotel with beautiful grounds and pool. It is definitely an older hotel in need of some work, but we were comfortable. Beds and pillows were comfy. The breakfast was very good…lots of variety. The pool area is lovely but when we were there it was closed often. When asked why, they said it had rained in the morning, but it was lovely and warm in the afternoon. They said they had sent the lifeguard home when it rained. The location is good…about 15 minutes walk to the centre of town and the funicular is around the corner. We couldn’t get parking on site but were sent to a place nearby. Complimentary cookies and a bottle of wine were left in our room. We had a balcony with a nice view.

Great stay, staff very friendly especially Dan who went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. Only complaint is the bus tours, they all decend on the restaurant at once overwhelming the staff and other guests. May be better if they seperates them from the non bus tour guests and had seperate dinner/bfast times.

Hôtel bien placé le personnel super les repas et petit déjeuner super. Seul a améliorer les salles de bains un peu veillottes et la climatisation qui n'est pas optimale dans les chambres. Mais super endroit j'y retournerait sans aucun doute.

Very nice hotel - it’s closely located to the city center, cable car and bus station - everything you need in Taormina. The breakfast is very very good, lots of options, and the property is very big! Has an incredible view to the ocean an a nice pool.
