The hotel was perfectly located and an easy walk to dining, shops, beach and sites. The front desk staff were very helpful and courteous and accomodating to all our needs and questions. Parking your car is a bit tough but that is true everywhere in Taoromina. We had a room with a balcony facing the ocean that was perfect. The room itself was clean and in great condition. (And i am a very fussy traveler!) The breakfast buffet was full of local foods and open late in the morning for those "sleep in" days. The bar was always open, pool service and bar staff were great and the pool was in a great location, in excellent condition and never crowded. We were very pleased with our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

This was our second stay at Villa Belvedere. We opted for the Sea Facing room with a terrace. It was wonderful. The terrace had an outstanding view which included sight of Etna! The room has been upgraded with a large Smart TV. Their breakfast buffet is without pier with wonderful and unexpected extras such as premier pastries and specialties such as homemade Arancinies! The pool complex was beautiful and lounge chairs plentiful and very comfortable. Finally, the main avenue of Taromina is a short walk from the hotel. We WILL return!

Good stay. The parking situation is a little odd in that it costs €40 but you then have to walk to/from to get your car (passing car parks on the way) but overall a good stay.

We stayed in the annex apartment which was perfect for our needs. The hotel and grounds were beautiful, the location was perfect, and the staff and service impeccable (especially Sergio at the bar!).

This was an incredible stay. The views are phenomenal everywhere on the property. Breakfast was also one of the best I’ve had in Italy with a ton of options. The pool view is incredible and the staff does everything to make the stay perfect.

We had the most beautiful stay at Hotel Villa Belvedere. We arrived late in the day after missing a flight. They had a concierge outside waiting to meet us and valet our car. We were warmly welcomed with a glass of wine and shown to our beautiful room. The rooms were comfortable and clean with everything we needed. The pool area was gorgeous and the sun loungers were comfortable. The breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea was lovely. Breakfast had a generous spread. The location was perfect. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted. We would return here again and again. You will love your stay!

We loved our stay at the Belvedere. This is a beautiful hotel with Sicilian charm. It is very walkable to the busy streets (~5 minutes), and conveniently tucked away on a relaxing street. Phenomenal views of the sea and a wonderful pool area. The staff were wonderful, extremely helpful and kind. The hotel was very clean. We stayed at a small apartment that was detached from the main hotel (~2 minute walk). The room was very spacious, modern, with amazing views and easy access to the hotel. The hotel had one of the best lunches we had during our entire 2 week Italy vacation, that should tell you something! Don’t miss the opportunity to stay at this wonderful hotel, we can’t wait to go back!

Hotel Villa Belvedere is an absolute gem, oozing with charm and elegance. The hotel is located only a short walk to all the main restaurant ,shopping and other attractions. The meticulously maintained hotel offers a luxurious retreat, with pristine linens, flawless service, and immaculately kept grounds. On arrival we were greeted by with a glass of wine and shown a map of the area and excursion options. We were then show to our stunning room. Room 25, with its own private balcony with jaw dropping views. The delightful breakfast is a buffet style with many delicious pastries along with the traditional scrambled eggs, bacon, cereals, the terrace or inside offering panoramic views of the bay. The hotel offers old-world elegance, modern comforts, breath taking views, wonderful service, friendly and attentive staff, immaculately clean rooms. I will be recommending The Hotel Villa Belvedere to all my family and friends. I only wish we could have stayed longer.

My partner and I stayed at the Villa Belvedere for a week in August 2025. The Villa Belvedere is absolutely beautiful, set in stunning gardens overlooking the bay, a short walk to the centre of Taormina. The staff are wonderful, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and varied. The hotel’s interior is gorgeous and traditional. The rooms perfectly clean.

The pool deck and gardens is the best part of the property No stairs to check in . A/c in the main building is not adequate .rooms Are always super hot - request a fan !! The “rock” rooms across the street are very new and modern , but dark . No natural light at all . Ac works there and it’s quiet , but it like being in a dark apartment.

Let me start by saying that the view from our room was stunning!!! the location of the hotel is excellent very close to the greek theater. We got a room in the ANEX. The bathroom in that room is very small and uncomfortable, literally one can barely fit inside the shower. Very disappointing when one is spending 600 euros a night. That bathroom belongs to a 2 or 3 star hotel! We mentioned this to the manager at check out. He was very receptive and nice and gave us a 10% discount and free parking (45 euros a day). Let me start by saying that the view from our room was stunning!!! the location of the hotel is excellent very close to the greek theater. We got a room in the ANEX. The bathroom in that room is very small and uncomfortable, literally one can barely fit inside the shower. Very disappointing when one is spending 600 euros a night. That bathroom belongs to a 2 or 3 star hotel! We mentioned this to the manager at check out. He was very receptive and nice and gave us a 10% discount and free parking (45 euros a day). If you stay in this beautiful hotel make sure to stay away from the ANEX.

I can't say enough great things about this hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were treated like family in this family-owned jewel of Taormina. We were immediately offered a glass of Prosecco, as our reception host sat with us and went over all of the hotel's services and amenities. After that, we were personally escorted to our room, and a dinner reservation was immediately confirmed for us at a nearby restaurant. Our room was gorgeous, clean and beautifully appointed, with a terrace that overlooked both the pool and the sea. Breathtaking view! The breakfast buffet, with terrace seating, was the highlight of each morning, and the poolside restaurant (open only for lunch) served some of the finest food we ate in all of Taormina. In a world where the small details of hospitality are slowly going by the wayside, it is encouraging to see them so beautifully preserved within the walls of this hotel. We will definitely be recommending this experience (for that is what it was) to everyone, and hope to visit this lovely, magical hotel in the future!

We loved our stay at the Belvedere. This is a beautiful hotel with Sicilian charm. It is very walkable to the busy streets (~5 minutes), and conveniently tucked away on a relaxing street. Phenomenal views of the sea and a wonderful pool area. The staff were wonderful, extremely helpful and kind. The hotel was very clean. We stayed at a small apartment that was detached from the main hotel (~2 minute walk). The room was very spacious, modern, with amazing views and easy access to the hotel. The hotel had one of the best lunches we had during our entire 2 week Italy vacation, that should tell you something! Outstanding. Exceptional hotel. A rare gem. In my view, the best hotel by far in Taormina. Perfectly located amidst lush gardens with magnificent views of the sea and bays below. Tastefully furnished with great attention to detail and in a refined and elegant style. Impeccably maintained. Well appointed and beautifully decorated suite with large garden terrace overlooking the sea. Wonderful breakfast with local delicacies and excellent lunch served by the pool. Hotel was wonderful. Really nice breakfast. Staff was incredibly helpful. Ask them to make your dinner reservations when you arrive or make before you arrive because they do not serve dinner. Also if you are driving just know when you arrive to run in and ask them to park the car- it’s not for the basic driver. We loved our stay- great location and beautiful property.

Wonderful old grand hotel in an excellent location. Received a warm welcome and professional service from all the staff members. The pool area is a haven from the modern world with ample sun loungers and umbrella shade. Our room (65) backed directly onto the road at pavement level, however the layout of the room meant that there was very little noise in the main bedroom and sleep was completely unaffected. Furnishings were generally in very good order with just a few signs of wear and tear. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely recommend
