We were first put in a room unfit for travelers No seating, inadequate storage. Building under some renovation and no parking near building due to contractors. We were next to an elevator, and it was noisy. We requested a move which was granted and we moved to main building. Our room was spacious, lots of seating, very clean but extremely small bathroom. Beds and furniture were clean and comfortable. So, only one day of our 5 day visit was very substandard. Reservations should explain to folks that some areas are under construction.

There was loud construction going on the whole time. Workers vehicles and boxes of furniture were blocking all parking spaces near the building. Very un-restful stay!! Very disappointed!!!

Room service staff was great! Breakfast was nice. Pool was nice. Vending services didn’t work. Had to park a good ways away on nights we got back after 11. Entrance needs looked at as there is a huge hole that creates traffic issues due to not having room to safely enter from main road. Ended up using the side entrance for safety.

There was mold in our room. The bathroom door was black at the bottom inside the restroom. Musty smell and made us caugh all night. Looks as if they were under water and not yet repaired. The parking lot was filled with shipping containers.

Our room was old and had been remodeled fine, however, the door to bathroom was dirty and stained : SHOWER HEAD WAS MOLDED, GREEN, Dirty looked like it had never been cleaned ; we had to Purchase cleaner and scrub it with a toothbrush to simply shower quickly and hope we did not get bacterial infection ! Unacceptable! The furniture did not fit the spaces and mismatched! Construction was okay but No parking!: pictures online are not accurate and should be removed! We should have asked for a refund! We expected better in Fairhope! Our son live here and he have visited for years and this was the worst place we have ever stayed! You should refund us and or offer a resolution of free nights somewhere else! We have and will tell everyone to Never go there! And for the record we stay at Holiday inns a good bit and usually love their beds, this one the Siri ga we so broken we could not sleep due to the squeaky sounds !

Locked out of my room twice, room not cleaned one day, floor felt gritty and dirty, cleaning rag left on my counter by the microwave, breakfast was questionable if it was real and juice watered down. Had a spill in my room and when called the front desk for help was told I can walk down to front desk (we were in the farthest room on the property) get towels and clean it myself seems it is in my room. Then when checking out was told I had another night which I did not book. Glad I checked on that or would have been charged. I have stayed at many Holiday Inn Express and this is thw worst. Will not recommend or stay there again.

They were super helpful and allowed us to check in early. We appreciated that. However, all of the cockroaches started to come out as it started to get dark. When we told the front desk, they had us go for the front desk to get roach spray. Since our kids were already asleep, we decided to spray and hope for the best. When we woke up, there were several huge cockroaches that had died in the night. Our son was also bitten by something while sleeping and ended up with a big rash. We ended up leaving early and chose to forego our 2nd night there. Will choose a different hotel next time.

The hotel is clean and well maintained. Only three stars because there was not enough parking at the hotel. I had to park my car at the Burger King next door returning from a business dinner. Also, the AC in the room left the room feeling very humid and the floor sticky. The room was very clean and the stickiness seems related to the humidity. I have had similar issues at other hotels with through-wall AC units in humid climates. Not sure there is a solution. The bed was comfortable and linens were all very clean. Would stay here again if traveling outside the warm season.

I enjoyed my stay. Front desk folks are welcoming and helpful. Really appreciate Erin! I asked for a casual local place to get some seafood, and she sent me to Big Daddy's Grill - it was perfect. The room was clean and had all the basics. Breakfast was typical hotel food. Definitely recommend this pet-friendly hotel if you're in the area.

Definitely not enough parking. There were two soccer teams staying as well, so I believe that was the major cause for the noise. The staff couldn’t have been nicer, so helpful from the time we arrived until we departed. We would definitely stay here again.

The staff was rude and not helpful. I asked several times for an early check in, and was told I could check in at 1:00pm. When I show up at 1:30 to check in they told me they had no rooms clean and check in was at 3. I had several other encounters with the staff and every time I spoke with someone I was met with little to no sympathy and aggression.
