The hotel looks a bit rough from the street. The doors open to the outside, rarely a good sign. There are cheap offbrand grills out back. However, the room was clean and in decent shape. I've definitely paid much more for worse accommodations. It was a good value and I would stay here again.

The parking lot could use some repair. But the hotel is clean, nice, and close to airport. I have stayed there before and will stay again. I personally think it is the best place to stay if flying out of Charlotte because you can leave the motel and be inside the airport in five minutes.

Our first room had bed bugs in it. We were only offered adjoining rooms to that room. The front desk worker said he would check the 1st room, but 4 hrs later, it hasnt been checked. I'm disappointed because this used to be our favorite place to stay when we came down here to visit. And we were told we couldnt get a refund unless we dealt with expedia. I didnt want to deal with that hassle. So i took the room above the bed bugs. I doubt i will get much comfortable sleep tonight!

The room was hot and it took forever to get it to cool down, the pillows were small and hard (flat), there was also a 3 inch cockroach in our room and some kind of stain on the sheet on my bed. The breakfast wasn't good biscuits were super hard and the cranberry juice was so watered down it was colored water. We will never stay again.

This place doesn't look like much from the outside- another roadside motel on a busy highway. But we found the rooms to be clean and comfortable and very well kept and the breakfast was as good as any hotel breakfast. (Standard fare but well presented in a nice dining area.) We even had maid service each day, which most properties have stopped doing. Highly recommended and will stay here again in the future

The lady that checked us in was kind and helpful. When we got to our room we noticed that the entire ceiling was covered in mold. I took a few pictures and went back to the desk. The receptionist quickly moved us to another room and apologized. The 2nd room was cleaner. There was mold on the wall next to the sink, and this room being located in the front of the building, was very loud due to traffic. Breakfast was good, and we were allowed a late check out due to business in the area.

Upon initial observation, I was skeptical about staying at this facility, because it was clearly an older property, and didn’t have the safety feature that I’m accustomed to. Such as, entrance into the hotel rooms or directly off the parking lot, as opposed to entering from an inside hallway. However, after examining the room (prior to check-in!), and overall propertyarea, I decided it was OK to stay. Because, the room was extremely clean, clearly newly renovated - with contemporary furnishings, the bed was firm, comfy pillows, and had very crisp and freshly laundered linens throughout. Breakfast selection was good, freshly prepared,with a variety of choices, and the dining room clean beyond compare! I recommend the property, and will return next year during the WC Handy jazz festival!

Overall, the room was spectacular. Worthy of it's 8.2 review. However, no fault of their own, all hotels have this issue, AC that runs like a plane engine. I got rest. I didn't get any sleep but I got rest.

This was more of a convenient place to stay on our travels rather than a fancy destination. The room was clean and spacious. The bathroom itself was pretty small but the vanity was outside of the bathroom. Breakfast was good. We were right on the highway and still had no issues with noise. Would gladly stay here again

This Days Inn was clean and our room was recently remodeled. The room was small but functional. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The motel has rooms on a busy street in the front, but they gave us a room in the back and it was quiet. It seemed a lot of out-of-town trades people were staying there - they went to bed early and got up and out early. We had breakfast and I felt it was as good as any of the Hilton properties that offer a free breakfast. I would stay at this property again.

One of the worst run hotels I’ve been to the staff and management among the worst . If your ever in muscle shoals need a place go 2 doors dow to red roof in , rooms are bigger cleaner the staff is friendly very helpful this place not at all . Poorly managed staff lazy n careless especially the night shift never again DO NOT RECOMMEND

It was a pleasant stay. Our room was very clean and the staff were helpful with any needs that we had. The manager went above and beyond to help with any issues we had. The cleaning staff were also very friendly. I would recommend this hotel to others staying in the area.

I stay at mutilple hotels throughout the week so I have a pretty great base for juxtaposition. I was impressed with this location. I've stayed a few Days Inn locations and this one is by far the best ever. The room was very clean and only had a few cosmetic issues but that didn't detract from my comfort. The bed was freaking amazing and I fell asleep very quickly and soundly. The breakfast area was very well maintained, bright and vibrant. The food was definitely on point and above expectations. The staff were very hospitable and I got to witness their concern for the safety for their patrons. A woman was essentially camping out in the parking lot high or drunk and the staff worked as a team to get the proper protocols met not only for the customers as well as showed compassion for her as I overheard them concerned for her well being and the steps that they could take to get her help. I highly recommend this place and would most assuredly stay there again.

The lady who checked me does not have the personality to be in the hospitality business. Very rude and unaccommodating. However the night girl was very kind and gracious. It was Thanksgiving day. The night girl and the lady running the washers were both super and took some of the bad taste out of my mouth. Room was extremely clean. I was pleasantly surprised.

Very rude staff member named Courtney yelled at me and constantly blamed the owner who is never available. Hotel manager says they do not rent to anyone with an address less than 30 miles away. That is not expressed in their web site. Very inconvenient. Never going back. Wyndham should do something about this.

Very clean! Staff was friendly, cleaning crew did awesome. It's an older hotel, and it shows, but did not affect ANYTHING with the property. We were traveling, just needed a place to sleep and it was in a very central location. The graffiti on the shed at the back of the property was a little off putting, but it was not theirs to fix. Would stay again, did not have any issues at all!

We stayed for one night. The location was close to good dining. It was also with-in Walking distance to FAME Recording studio and a short drive to the Muscle Shoals Sound Studio in Florence which were the reason for our trip. I absolutely LOVED the Cotton Field Artwork in the room. The room was clean, comfy & quiet. The front desk was attendant was very friendly and welcoming.

The interior of the appeared to be recently renovated and in very good condition. The decorations and furnishings were relatively new and tasteful. It was obvious that attention to detail was given in preparation of the room as well. The front desk clerk was friendly and professional. The only negative was that the property fronts a very busy street, so there was a bit of noise pollution before midnight, but that settled down. I would come back again.

Unfortunately, the eggs were the consistency of grits. Not sure what happened when they were cooking, but there were bits in there that were hard. Would probably suggest a little bit of a better cleaning and the bathrooms and replacement of caulking. Need to also ensure that all batteries in the doors are working. We were locked out of our room at 11 PM at night and they had to contact a maintenance person to come and disassemble the door and replace batteries. Thank you.

The rooms were so clean! I honestly felt like home when I walked in. I didn’t have to worry about wiping extra things down. You could smell the cleanliness. Y’all, the breakfast was amazing! Super clean, the food was exceptionally hot, many choices, and the staff was outstanding!
