It was very fun to stay in the Basin Park Hotel, which is right in the center of everything in Eureka Springs. There were many amenities in the room as well as the on-site dining room is excellent.

A nice historic hotel in a seriously quirky city. The location of the hotel was convenient though the parking is down the street they were quick to shuttle us to and from parking. We walked everywhere easily.

Great place to stay in downtown Eureka Springs. The parking situation is a little odd, but there is a shuttle. We didn’t mind the walk to the parking lot. The hotel room was nice with that old historic feel to it.

Really disappointing experience on a special-occasion vacation, with this hotel stay gifted to us by a loved one. Though the hotel was uncrowded, we were given a subpar room: second floor INTERIOR, not just with minimal light but with a direct view from all windows onto the HOT TUB hangout area. Needless to say, shades remained drawn and windows closed, which was a real shame in temperate late April when we had hoped for fresh air and views of the historic district. Additionally, the room walls appeared to be in the midst of being repaired, with a massive section of paint next to the bathroom door that didn't at all match the rest of the room, and many large spots/patches in the "sitting room" that likewise didn't match the primary wall color. (Note that we stay in historic hotels frequently; there is a difference between a hotel being "old" and being "run-down," and Basin Park is in the latter category for us.) While the bathroom was nicely renovated (if in a jarringly modern style), the room furnishings were on the dingy side. Directly over our heads while sleeping, a smoke detector flashed a bright green light every few seconds that lit up the whole ceiling at night; this really should be moved elsewhere. For a Sunday and Monday night stay during the off-season, and with each night's stay costing around $200 with the resort fee, it felt like we were being ripped off. The main pro: excellent dinner on the restaurant balcony; we would eat here again but wouldn't stay.

Not as charming as I’d hoped. It’s old, dark, and rundown. Location is good and the bar/restaurant is pretty good.
