For the price we paid, this hotel is run down and not nice. Everything is old and worn out. Needs a massive upgrade. My room was on the same floor as the pool and had a door with a key sensor out to the pool. One day after walking in the heat/humidity I decided to go to the pool to cool off quickly. I grabbed my key card and towel and exited my door to the pool. There was a locked (or should I say zip tied) gate outside to the pool area and so I was stuck and couldn't get to the pool area. No biggy...I tried to reenter my room so I could go the long way around and found that my key card didn't work in the second door to my room. So, I was stuck. I had to climb a fence to get over into the pool area and back to my room. It was a massive safety issue and a little scary. And, the pool wasn't even nice. Dirty, deck paint peeling, pool furniture in disrepair....nasty.

Great location and service. The hotel shuttle service was terrific and Lois and Larry are great drivers. The room was comfy but the hotel is tired. Updates help but all our room furniture was scuffed and worn. Same in the bathroom vanity

The Double Tree downtown Little Rock (LR) is a nice place to stay for all things LR. Whether it’s attending the Robinson Theater, cycling the Arkansas River Trail, visiting the Clinton Library, or just taking in the number of good restaurants. During our stay there was an elevator out of operation which made it very slow getting up and down, but other than that, the room was clean and all staff were helpful and friendly.

The hotel appeared nice until we got on the elevators. It was obvious that the carpet hadn't been updated or cleaned well in quite some time. As soon as we walked in the room, the imitation leather chair was so worn out. It was peeling badly and really needed to be thrown out. The shower curtain and rod were horrible. Several rings were missing and two of the holes were ripped. The rod was higher on one end so the shower curtain kept sliding open in use. That lead to water all over the floor. We asked the cleaning lady 2x to change it and called down to the front desk to let them know. Nothing was done. I had to go find a manager and she later came to change it but the 2nd curtain wasn't much of an improvement. We were considering changing hotels and just take a loss but decided to tuff it out. My brother was in a suite and they had the same worn chair in their room. They really need to invest in updating the hotel. The biggest plus with the hotel was that we had a river view and that was nice. Spend a few dollars more and go to the Marriott instead.

Hotel was disgusting. Room was run down, dirty, blood on carpet and wall, roach in bathroom, furniture ripped up. The view of the river was pretty but that is the only thing good about this hotel. Will definitely not stay here again.

The staff was friendly. They had great conference centers and music halls and our room had a beautiful view of the river. The property is very outdated. The curtains had huge stains on them. I was surprised they let that be. Coffee machine didn't work and stains on the floor. The walkways to and from elevators were dirty too. Pillows were extremely comfortable but the smell smelled old... Bed's upholstery was falling apart under and was dirty under. Needs an upgrade and major cleaning bad!

Check in was quick but I had to remind the clerk that I had paid for breakfast because apparently she overlooked it on the reservation and didn’t give me the breakfast pass card. Parking was good. The lobby was nice and the breakfast was above average for a hotel breakfast buffet. The room I booked needs maintenance, badly….. My first impression when I walked into the room was worn, faded & shabby carpet. I was afraid to walk around barefoot. I also saw stains on the ceiling & walls. I booked a balcony room on the top floor so the view was good, but the balcony was dirty and obviously not a priority for the maids. The water pressure was good in the shower and the water was soft, that is a plus in my world. However, the sliding glass shower doors did not work properly, they were misaligned, One wouldn’t stay closed and the other would bind on the guide and felt like it was about to fall out. Like I said previously, my room needs maintenance and refreshing. Probably the theme for the remainder of the rooms. I will consider a different hotel on my next visit.

Extremely Disappointing Stay – Would Not Recommend I have stayed at many Hilton properties over the years, but my recent stay at this DoubleTree was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. The entire room was extremely dirty upon arrival — dust and grime on surfaces, stained carpets, and an overall musty smell. The bathroom was especially unacceptable, with visible mold in the shower. Housekeeping clearly had not done a thorough cleaning, and it made the room feel unsanitary and uncomfortable from the moment I walked in. I brought these issues to the staff’s attention, but the response was dismissive and no real effort was made to address the problems. For a “4 star” hotel I expected Hilton’s standard of cleanliness and service, but this property fell far below. I will not be returning to this location and I would advise other travelers to look elsewhere.

The furniture is outdated in the room - really needs an update. No ice available in the icemaker had to go to the 10th fl. Parking area was not very secure and there were people smoking marijuana in the parking garage. No microwave, no fridge in the room. Pillows made for an uncomfortable sleep. Carpet could use an upgrade. The cookies were slightly warm. Front desk staff was very friendly. Cleaning staff was super nice. I probably would not stay again unless there are some major upgrades to the rooms. The bathroom was the worst part for me, the shower door made a horrible noise like it was breaking a part, and one of the towels had a black spot on it.

I hate providing this type of review, but this property needs some serious TLC. The staff was great, but our hotel room it had mold in the main room and in the bathroom, which had been an issue before, because it looked like they had tried to paint over it. The HVAC either had freezing cold, hot, or off as an option.

Tried to check in at 2:45, they would not le me. Occupancy was pretty low for a 14 story building with parking garage maybe 10% full. Very old building that has had some cosmetic upgrades. Room did not have Fridge or Microwave. Shower had stains. AC has been managed by owners to save energy. You can set it at any temp ,but it has 4 deg range, and it got uncomfortable.

When you walk in you can see that newer updates have been made, but then you get to the room and it’s not the case. For the money you pay, I will say the only thing that was good was having a balcony. The room is small, there is no fridge, all the furniture is old, the chair sitting at the desk was all torn up. They need to update the rooms. I will not stay there again. I wanted a DoubleTree by Hilton not a motel 6.

The hotel is outdated and due to its current state they shouldn’t charge what other Hilton-DoubleTree’s charge. They don’t have smart TV’s, they don’t have streaming apps, they don’t have movie channels, just basic cable. The breakfast is an absolute waste, $16.99 for a continental breakfast is insane…and it doesn’t provide juice. The walls are paper thin and with the wind blowing the door continuously shook. I pay more so I expect more, $377 for 2 nights with 10 year old amenities, that’s comical.

Location is great for walking downtown. The room itself was very small. No room for a chair other than the desk chair up against a built-in desk. There was no room to open suitcases except on the bed. I have stayed at this hotel in the past with a larger room. But I won't book one of these small rooms again.

We were here for the Randy Travis Tour. This was our first time staying at Doubletree. We had a river view room on the 12th floor. This was the quietest room we have ever stayed at. You get a warm cookie and a bottle of water upon check in. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Stella checked us out and she was an A+

We’ve ask multiple times to have our room cleaned and no one came to service our room. Their customer service is horrible. The lady who answered the phone was rude each time I called to have someone clean it was 5pm and no one came to clean, but she said they are still around. Look somewhere else.

The hotel room was great! Large rooms and clean. The pool needs some attention. It needs cleaning and maybe painting. They did have plenty of pool towels, chairs, and loungers. Parking is easy. Staff is mainly friendly enough. We ordered room service-hummus and a club sandwich. They called back and said they were out of hummus and beef for burgers. So we reordered 2 club sandwiches along with the two glasses of ice we previously ordered because the ice machine on our floor wasn’t working. The food came and we opened the takeout container it was in to find a pice of bread the another piece of bread that had 3 pieces of turkey and a few pieces of bacon. Not a single condiment was brought to us. Nothing for the sandwich or fries. There was a tomato and a piece of lettuce in the container. No cheese. This was a terrible excuse for a “club sandwich”. Do not order from room service. It was conveniently located for two activities we were attending so that was great.

Location is good as well as convenient parking. All of the staff was very friendly . The reason for a lower review is the restaurant . The staff was friendly but the service was very slow even with us being the only pair dining. The food is way below average in quality and above average in price. All of the pictures and menus online including prices are old and have not been updated.

The room was very well maintained. We were able to text the concierge for any needs such as towels and the response was very prompt. The cookies were delicious but I would skip the restaurant. Food was a little undercooked for my liking. The bar and the bartender was great and attentive. Great conversation was had at that bar. Will be coming back.

We checked in around 5 PM room was still not available as they had over 200 checkouts that day. We went to the restaurant you could tell that they were overwhelmed and understaffed, but still a good meal overall great day.
