I have stayed here to be with family member in the hospital. It is within easy walking distance of the hospital but they have a shuttle if you need it. It is older but appears clean. They have a good breakfast selection. The cost is reasonable. There are restaurants and shopping across University but you need to be aware if you are walking.

Clean and great staff. Beds and pillows okay for a hotel, better than most. Kitchenette area has a microwave, larger refrigerator and a sink so good for a longer stay. Parking is a bit of an issue. Most of the parking is in the back and no access so you have to walk around the building to get in. Disappointing breakfast. Nothing hot except some packages of sausage and biscuits that you could warm in the microwave.

Decent stay for the price. Very friendly staff at check in. Keep in mind that this hotel is old. But it's quiet, clean, and the beds were comfortable enough. The elevators have a stench. Difficult to charge multiple devices (limited outlets). Clean, roomy bathroom.

The directions led us to the emergency room- that was interesting. Once we found the hotel it was a relief and really cute older building. Front desk lady was helpful. Only 1 elevator was working but no biggie. Our room was really clean and had everything anyone would need +! Something wrong with One of the Queen beds. You couldn’t sit on it without it tilting but laying on it wasn’t a problem. The beds were comfy and the shower was super clean- good water pressure. The “full hot” breakfast left much to be desired- Breakfast 6-9- we went at 8 and nothing “ hot” was left. I made a piece of toast and my son ate a bowl of cereal. We were fine as neither of us were very hungry. Per several guest requests- An attendant did put something in the microwave and made some fresh coffee. We were there for a quick over night rest and that’s what we got. The location was good, room clean and cool and beds comfy. It served us well for our purpose!

The beds were inconsistent. One queen bed was very firm, the other was very soft and bouncy. The bathtub did not drain well so therefore we had to go without bathing during our trip. There is also limited parking near the front door.

The property is fine, the rooms are a little old. However, the convenience of the shuttle is worth its weight in gold. The staff is OUSTANDING!! They are kind, helpful and willing to help take you or pick you up at the hospital at any time. I would highly recommend this hotel if you had to go to the hospital every day.

Staff was very nice and accommodating. Room floors were not very clean, peanuts on floor of room, hair on floor in bathroom, bathtub not cleaned well. Bed sheets looked nice and clean though and plenty of pillows. Air conditioning worked well. Water for shower had good pressure and got hot.

Room air conditioner/heater did not work. They did offer to move me to another room but didn’t want to have to repack for just one night. Toilet was clogged and they said they fixed it but when I returned to the room I ended up going to the front desk to get a plunger to clear the toilet myself. The box holding the Kleenex tissue in the bathroom was empty. Not sure how long since they had been replaced. When I turned on the water to take a shower there was a large wad of hair floating that had been on the drain and had not been wiped out when it was cleaned last. For price the room was sufficient for my 2 night stay but I believe housekeeping could do a better job in assuring the room had all the amenities offered and is as clean as they can make it. Rooms could use a good coat of paint when possible

Air conditioner was loud. The room was clean but the microwave didn't work. The bathroom sink was stopped up. Soon as you walked in the room you smelled mildew. There was mildew in the ceiling in the bathroom. The breakfast was great but the guy that got the breakfast together was rude. The front desk daytime and nighttime clerk were very friendly. There are not enough handicapped parking spaces.

This property is essentially affordable housing for patients and families of patients at St Vincent Hospital. This is not a typical hotel -the value for money spent is spot on….a bed, a room and toiletries and a free breakfast-however, the paper thin walls make it difficult to sleep unless you are properly prepared for that situation. This is A WONDERFUL service for families/patients. Just do not expect ANYTHING extra.

Walls are very very thin. We could hear the TV and normal conversation between 2 guests. Air conditioner made a noice when kicking off, but luckily it had a constant fan control we left on to prevent noise from kicking the fan off and also to help with the next room noise. Ridges in king bed, so finding a spot to lay was challenging. I was having surgery at 5 am so I survived but my fiancé had a long wait and a long drive home on very little sleep. I would Not stay again even though the lady at the front desk was super nice, it was a large room and close to Hospital.

The staff has always been nice when I’ve stayed here. The hotel building itself is clean but it definitely needs some updating. My room was clean but the metal door and metal area around the door was starting to rust, and the wallpaper is hallways was coming apart. I would definitely stay here again if I had someone in the hospital because it’s close to several of them.

We booked through Hotels.com, and the day of they tried to charge my card, even though we had not checked in yet. When we arrived to check in, they said that because we booked through a third-party, our booking did not show up in their system, and they even suggested we go somewhere else. I tried to speak with him and see what could be done, but they said we were not showing up at all in their system, and they said we should look for somewhere else that maybe we could afford, taken in mind we never mentioned prices we ended up going to a different hotel, which was much nicer.

The room was ok needed to be updated and the tv had all restricted channels except for kid shows. Checking in was a breeze and ms janice was super helpful and friendly. However checking out the next morning the other lady was rude and agressive i called and asked for a late checkout at 12pm while leaving she called up to the room and yelled at my husband for us to get out and we told her we are leaving now she then proceeded to come up to our room and bangs on the door to tell us to get out within 3 minutes of her calling the room. Then at the desk im asking her questions about my deposit she then gets an attitude with me and couldnt be bothered. I have never been treated like that at any other hotel ever and it was absolutely uncalled for and will never be staying there again.

The hotel was clean, well, maintained, had a pleasant atmosphere, convenient free parking, and was located close to main roads that led to downtown and highways. The only thing I didn’t like, and this is something the hotel has no control over, is that google shows the hotel as being inside of a nearby hospital on it’s map, which caused me to spend some time finding the actual entrance to the hotel property.

Very good experience. Used the shuttle twice to and from the hospital. Very convenient. Breakfast was good, lots to choose from. Would stay again definitely.

The hotel is old and smelly. They do not change or do room cleaning on a daily basis, but until you check out. Breakfast was all from the freezer right next to the counter, besides apples and bananas. This hotel is not worth more than $45 a day. It’s only located right next to St. Vincent doesn’t mean worth it.
