Defiantly more of a motel feel but clean, comfortable and staff were friendly and helpful. It is close to a busy road so room was noisy at times. Biggest issue was out of the staffs hands. They had a room fire which meant no hot water for 3 days, and no wifi or TV service for the remaining 7 days of my stay

Property was ok, i was a little disappointed there wifi and tv system was offline, the motel suffered fire hazard, , motel room was clean, the bed squeak when movement, there is no microwave in room you need to use the on the lobby.

Good motel for the price. The location is within a few blocks of a shopping and restaurants - I was able to walk for food and shopping. Furniture in my room was in great shape, and the double-pane windows kept it mostly quiet inside. I appreciated the in-room mini-fridge, coffee maker, and microwave. Everything was clean, and the staff were friendly. The front desk is understaffed. There's usually just one person, and he left for a 45-minute lunch break each afternoon around check-in time. Also, there is no ice machine available to guests - the only way to get ice is to bring the room's ice bucket to the front desk and request ice, which is difficult if the attendant may be out to lunch or busy checking in new guests. Walls and floors are thin, and the plumbing is loud. If one of your neighbors is walking around or taking a shower, you'll hear it.

Overall not bad, more frustrating! Minimal signage out front, Pool was closed, and we arrived 1hr early and had to pay $30.00 extra(Not full) for the 1hr early check in! First time in area, so we didn’t know of anywhere to kill the hr! PLUS the pool was CLOSED!

Great bed. Amenities were sufficient. Parking could be a challenge but not unreasonable.

We stayed at Vagabond Inn the first time recently and it was great. Clean, easy, on-site parking. The on-site manager was super helpful too - with our room keys and even moving his car late night as the on-site parking was full. Small but clean pool too.

The room was okay it was really frustrated that u had to pay $10 for parking it’s like come on u book the room and u have to for parking …

Like that the room had a fridge. Didn’t like paying for parking.

When you book your hotel, they don’t tell you about charging for parking until you check in. I did not like that.

Check in is always a breeze. No ice machine and you have to go all the way to the office. Other than that the beds are comfy. The sheets and towels are clean.

Vagabond inn smelled like dog urine inside the room. Wouldn’t let my kids sit on the chairs or walk barefoot on floor.

There was feces left in the toilet that was there when I checked in. It truly disgusted me.

The rooms smelled like cigarettes

Overall, a good one night stay with my family. There was a strong cigarette smoke odor from the bathroom, which unfortunately caused the towels to smell.

Beds were comfortable. Room was clean and the location was walkable and excellent.

Walked into our room and found flying moths and other insects. Then when i had to use the shower there was a huge roach in the tub 😭 also noticed after using the shower water would start to leak out of the tub and into the bathroom floor. Also if you are staying in the first floor or lower floors the rooms above you can be easily heard walking and what not. Sounds like they were stomping at night.

Room was clean. Very worn out. Especially the bathroom. The area seemed pretty safe. Plenty of parking. The room had obviously been smoked in or the smoke was coming through the air conditioner.

The room was waay better than I expected. Everything was super clean, tge only issue i had was that the walls are pretty thin, you can hear all the movements from the adjoining rooms. Overall it was great..id stay there again 😁

There’s no air. When I first walked in, the room air smelled strongly wet, mildewy, sweaty. Air surrounding me, like a blanket of some couples and their heavy evaporated sweat. Like many motels, the windows don’t open. The air conditioner doesn’t work well, and all the air might be the stagnant shower water and sweat of couples. Recirculated, or not circulated at all, never leaving the room. Same air. The rooms really are okay, as far as decor and furnishings and floors go. (The floors are laminate wood so you don’t get creepy motel carpet, but on the other hand I don’t think laminate flooring can be wet mopped, so floor cleanliness is questionable. It’s preferable to me, but needs mentioning. Also, the motel is shoved into a narrow Glendaie lot, on a busy street and it’s a crowded space. But that’s good too, in that the Glendale shopping is all across the street and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The management seems professional, and plenty of staff have been longterm. It’s not a bad choice, if only they could keep the doors open for awhile to get some fresh air in, and some old wet very-yucky used air out of the rooms.

Check in was quick and smooth, the gentleman at the front desk who helped us throughout our stay was so nice and helpful! Parking was $10 a night which isn’t bad compared to other places. I like how everything was nearby so we were easily able to walk to the shopping centers and to grab a bite to eat. Rooms were actually great considering the price. Walls are pretty thin as we were able to hear a lot of the noises from outside and the rooms above/nearby but it wasn’t too much of a bother for us, my 1 year old still slept safe and sound so that’s all that matters! (:

The Matress was very saggy, angled to one side when you lay on it.

This actually wasn’t a bad stay. Front desk was very nice, fast, and attentive. You have to request ice by walking to the front desk with an ice bucket. The location is prime and it’s only a short 5min walk to the Galleria or the Americana. The beds really suprised me as they are really soft and feel like a cloud. Ample pillows and towels. Big flat screen smart tv with many choices. Room was pretty clean overall. Would definitely stay at again as the price was reasonable and didn’t have any problems or hiccups. The only gripe was the ice machine was out of ice when I went to ask, and the walls and ceilings are thin. No street noise whatsoever, just neighborly noise.

Properly location is great. The parking is limited and found my self not finding a spot after leaving for dinner.They charge 10 dollars for parking. Now the room is small and decent. The bed was terrible. Worst bed ever. I could not sleep you would sink in the mattress. It was so soft and not in a stirty frame. I was sleeping in a water bed that what it felt like.

Same lady checking in. Had to check in 2 times because front desk lady said right away without checking that they were booked after I had asked if we could extend our stay by one day. Thank you Expedia for helping us. She was not friendly. Maybe she was having a bad day. Only good thing is she called our room when I had left my sunglasses at the front desk. Was surprised she did that. Kudos for that. Never smiled while checking in. Seems like she hated her job. Housekeeper helped right away with towels when we needed extras. I would stay here again for cleanliness, location and priced well. Would’ve given them 5 stars except for checking experience

Hotel check in starts at 3pm, why does the only worker take a break 4-4:30 leaving no way to check in. This is unacceptable were trying to check in before a concert. Their lunch break should be covered or before check in starts at 3

I arrived at 5pm to check in and the MOD was on break. I had to stand outside at a locked door for several minutes.

Affordable, safe and clean. Staff was very helpful for anything we needed.

This was my first time staying there. My friend and I flew in early and the gentleman at the front was very nice about helping us check in early. There was a lot of options for dining and shopping. All of which were walkable. I will be staying there again the next time I’m in Glendale.

Glendale is great. Short walk from the hotel to just about every store you can possibly think of (2 malls), shake shack and eggslut one block away. Honestly the only reason I had to give an imperfect score is because the staff did not respond to my noise complaint about the guest in the room beside me literally having a screaming fit of profanities for like 2 hours. Im not a baby Im not a Karen, the guest in the room beside me was literally screaming profanities in the room, in the parking lot.. I thought I was gonna have to call the cops! I called front desk and they're like Oh gee! Ya Ill check it out! and did absolutely nothing. Its not like it ruined my and not the hotels fault that people are crazy, but it is their responsibility to deal with it and they did not.

Great location. Walking distance from the americana on brand and a ton of shopping and restaurants. It is also very close to one of the biggest malls in the country, the Glendale Galleria. It is a safe area, easy for walking activities. Highly recommend this location for its Ease of access to shops and restaurants. It is also close to downtown Los Angeles, via the 5 fwy which is close by.

I’ve stayed here dozens of times when I go to Dodger games. Easy access to freeways. Tons of restaurants and bars walking distance. Parking is cheap compared to other places

The location of the hotel was great. Across the street from the Glendale Galleria and the Americana. Easy 17 minute drive to Universal Studios. The outside of the building looks a bit worn but the room was updated, nice and very comfortable. I would stay there again.

Our son now lives here and we stumbled upon this place when we moved him last summer. We will not go anywhere else. We love that it is local and unique to area, but even more, very clean with attention to details, and the beds! The beds are so comfortable…no dips or sags anywhere, pillows—more than one (four if you’re solo!) and just right. We don’t get this good of sleep at home! And the staff is very kind and accommodating and responsive and for a hotel…amazing coffee! Just right amenities (fridge, microwave, single pod coffee maker; and if I ironed, there is a full size ironing board and iron available in room!) There is a modest pool we’ve not used yet, but sitting by it now! LA was never on my bucket list, but honestly our stays at Vagabond Inn (with Foxy’s Restaurant two doors down—best breakfast we’ve had in so long and not just because I didn’t have to cook it!), make any opportunity to come back a joy to consider! (Once we know our dates, it’s the first thing we book!) Especially in what had previously felt like such a daunting place: LA! Vagabond Inn makes it feel like a town you can put your arms around with its warm, welcoming, and genuine hospitality! I’m from the south, and my standards are high. And Vagabond Inn exceeds them!

This hotel has all the basic essentials, including wifi, fridge and microwave (at the reception’s). They don’t serve breakfast but there is a coffee machine in the room and tea at the reception’s office. If needed there’s food and water for sale, of course you can always go to Target’s. The people are very kind. Room was clean. There’s soap and lotion available. There’s no noise from others. I’d recommend this place in a heartbeat.

What I loved most about this property is its resemblance to a private condo complex and how quaint the room was. I also appreciated the location. Near stores, shops, and restaurants. Lots to see and do. Also centrally located to every address I was there to attend. Extremely convenient place to stay. I loved it.

Not the hotel’s fault but at 3 I. The morning, someone in a room nearby was knocking on another door, opening and slamming the door repeatedly till after 4am talking in loud voices. Not enough to hear the conversation but, enough to wake me up and had trouble going back to sleep. This is about the 3rd or 4th time we have stayed here. The staff has always been attentive and nice. Not a suoer fancy hotel but economical and close to the Americana shopping area- walking distance. We enjoy Foxy’s for breakfast too.

Probably not a consideration for most people, who drive, but the bus stop 1 block had lines that went directly downtown and directly to Hollywood, which was very handy for things I needed to do. The restaurant options within walking distance were excellent, even for “fast food”. A great brick oven pizza was a 7 minute walk to pickup. Much fancier options were also numerous.

It would’ve been nice if they had a breakfast service of some kind.
