Quiet. Spa and fitness center need upgrading.

The staff was wonderful and it was a great first stay in Sedona! The rooms had everything we needed. The shuttles were a bit tricky but they had an AMAZING driver available named Becky. She was phenomenal and made everything convenient. Such a nice view from the jacuzzi and I enjoyed a wonderful hot stone massage from Patricia at the spa. We loved everything and will be back!

Definitely ages facility with an updated lobby/dining area. Hot tub was not working when we were there, room had few dead bugs in it and did not seem updated. We had electric car and two of the stations had the ‘clicking’ piece broken off so although it plugged in it actually did not charge. If we go back to Sedona we’ll stay in a cheaper hotel as it would probably be the same experience.

Lovely grounds and friendly staff. King deluxe red rock view rooms were very nice and spacious with great view of grounds. Resort was understaffed and it showed in the restaurant. Pool area is very basic and not resort like in ambience.

This is an older property. The bathrooms were vary dated and could be much better. The pool and hot tub were very cloudy and dirty.

Nice hotel. Large, clean, comfotable rooms that look out on lovely yard. Great terrace and patio area. Staff was very nice and always helpful. Only complaints were that restaurant and bar seemed either short-staffed or had many new hires because service was hit-or-miss, and there were only 4 lounge chairs by the pool. There were several sets of tables and chairs but only 4 lounge chairs that you could lay on and they were in constant use in mid-April. Hotel is a few minutes from downtown so be sure to use Sedona's shuttle service to avoid parking issues.

It was great and beautiful grounds. Close to areas you’d want to explore. My only complaint is that they had electric vehicle charging stations but left to the mercy of the front desk person to activate it. The person I asked said they’d do it but forgot.

It was quiet and close to downtown. Rooms were spacious! I wish the pool was biger.

Nice hotel, ice machines didn’t work at multiple places, long walk to the lobby to ask for ice.

Only a one night stay-expensive. Room very large-,but dated.comfortable. Disappointed with pool area, and spa tub not working.

We saw bugs inside the hotel and it was not updated.

The property is older and needs updating on the inside especially. TV was not working, extra phone was broken, shower handle was loose. Hair was left in the tub. No microwave in the room. Room smelled musty and was dark. They did send someone over to fix the problems right away. The restaurant had poor service the food was ok but not cooked as asked. No one checked on us or refilled our drinks until we were ready to go. I would not recommend or stay here again.

The room was spacious, but that’s it. We found long tangled hair on sheets when we first went in.

We came for our wedding night and were greeted with a large cockroach in our room. Similarly frustrating, there wasn't a window covering at the front door which kept the room lit up like a Christmas tree. When we brought up the roach to the front desk the following morning at checkout we were told "oh" with no attempt to remedy the situation. Wasn't worth the price.

The property needs repair. Rooms are older , carpets dirty, bathtubs stained and old. Restaurant really bad service and the food not good

Carpet needs to be updated and furniture needs to be replaced. Cockroaches need to be addressed. Was disappointed that we were told they didn’t have time to clean our room. Tony at the bar was great and grounds are beautiful. Overall our stay was nice. But won’t be back till rooms are updated.

the door to our room did not properly lock, we had to get a staff member to go and fix it, which impeded on our planned activities for the day. our in room fireplace did not work. the lighting in the room was very dim at best. the in room coffee machine was terrible. when we filled up the jacuzzi tub, the other shower tub filled up aswell. we found cockroaches in the room which made us nervous about them getting into our luggage. and lastly our bed was extremely uncomfortable. i have a very sore lower back and sleep deprivation due to poor sleep during our stay. Was not exactly the getaway i was hoping for since my husband and i never get to do this, we have 3 small children back home and was very much looking forward to a relaxing and recharging vacation. I can’t say i would recommend Poco Diablo to anyone

I had reserved two rooms. Both were covered in bugs.

The pictures are deceiving. The lobby was beautiful, and the surrounding grounds were nice. However, the cleanliness of the room was horrible. On the day of arrival, there was a dirty wine glass, sitting outside of our room. The room itself appeared OK but my son found some hair in the bed and there was a crusty old contact lens on the floor, so it doesn’t seem like they vacuum their rooms. After our first night we we left the sign outside so that we can get fresh towels and have our beds done however, to our surprise, they only provided us with fresh towels and the beds were left unmade. And even after we received the fresh towels that old dirty wine glass remained outside our room, that old glass stayed there until we checked out. Also, there was no safe in the room, which I thought was so weird. I would never stay here again.

The hotel is very dated. Needs some TLC. The pictures seemed better than in person. Clean, but old. Originally supposed to stay 2 nights. Made it one night. Paper thin walls and i heard our neighbors coming home at midnight. You pay for what you get. We won’t be staying again unfortunately.

Customer service was great, although website states they are remodeled, the rooms were a bit outdated. We had continued issues with room door not closing properly and WiFi was non existent.

Needs more lounge chairs at the pool. Room's air-conditioning didn't work and plugs kept turning the TV off. Beds were comfortable and nice amount of space.

It was centrally located to hiking trails, but the room needs to be updated. Carpet is worn out, mattress needs to be replaced, and bathroom fixtures have seen better days. The resort fee was not stated while I booked the room. Let alone there was not complimentary coffee.

Pros: The property was clean but dated. Easy to find. Easy parking. Short drive to downtown Sedona. Cons: The room was not as described when booked- no couch, fireplace or Red Rock view. The gas “wood stove” was difficult to start with confusing directions. We had an adjoining room and our “neighbors” were so loud that it sounded like they were in the same room. A reasonable place to stay as far as cleanliness and proximity to downtown, but not worth the extra price I paid to have a view, fireplace and couch to relax on after a long day.

The location is excellent and highly convenient, with beautiful surroundings. The hotel room was spacious but felt outdated. The biggest issue was the heating/AC system—its motor was extremely loud, making it nearly impossible to sleep with it running.

Jetted tub next to bed was unnecessary and old. Bathtub was dirty and old, service was slowwww. Walls were paper thin, we could hear everything going on in next room. Cancelled reservation and rebooked to another hotel after 1 night. Grounds were beautiful but rooms need major upgreay

Unfortunately, my stay at Poco Diablo was far from what I expected. While the room I stayed in was undeniably spacious, that was about the only highlight. The furniture was very dated, and combined with the musty smell coming from the carpets, it felt like I had stepped into a hotel room from the 1980s. The TV was small and definitely didn’t seem like the 55-inch they claimed—it was placed so far from the bed it was hard to see. The air conditioning didn’t work properly, and my room door wouldn’t close all the way without me forcing it shut. For a place that calls itself a resort, it felt more like a glorified roadside motel. To top it off, on my last night, I ordered a drink from the bar. The bartender that evening seemed a bit off and disengaged. I asked if someone could light one of the fire pit tables so I could enjoy the evening outdoors, and she told me she didn’t know who to ask. I eventually found someone myself, but after waiting quite a while with no result, I gave up and went back to my room. I chose to stay here because it was more affordable than the previous resort I had been at—but honestly, it wasn’t worth the savings. I regret not just extending my stay at the better resort. I would not return or recommend it.

Rooms and buildings are very dated and need a major renovation not just new paint and carpet, which is also very old. However the property is beautiful and the updated lobby and restaurant were very nice.

I stayed here in Feb, hotel OVER CHARGED me 517.06 for my stay. While in the speaking with the manager and her giving me an attitude she could not tell me what the charges were for or give me a break down for my bill. 2 weeks AFTER I checked out, they charged my card 52.12 and said I used thier hotel restaurant I explained to them I lived in another state and it was not possible for me to be there. Had to fight with them both times to get my money back. They also charge if you request extra towels/blankets, most of the staff is rude!

Other than the rooms needing updating everything else was very nice for our stay. Lobby & Resturant were very nice but certainly didn’t match the rest of the accommodations. We enjoyed the spa and the pool area. We know you are closing to renovate for about a year which I think is wise. We would stay here again once renovated😄 people were very friendly - Bridgett in the restaurant/bar, Mr Mario, spa people and Phillip at the front desk. Great location for a resort!!!

William at the front desk was amazing. Great directions on our checkout we went for an early morning hike and he allowed us a little bit longer check out time so we could come back and shower lovingly sarcastically, funny, great guy

It's a beautiful property on the outside that's showing a bit of age on the inside (especially the loud heater). Low review stars due to poor service at the restaurant, initially with slow service, then an overcharge that despite promises from management has still not been corrected two days later.

The gentleman from the reception was extremely great, friendly and welcoming.

This is my second time staying at Poco Diablo. We decided to return because the location is good, and we didn’t plan to spend much time at the hotel anyway. However, while Poco Diablo purports to be a resort, its rooms and overall atmosphere don’t give resort, despite charging resort prices. Important note: when I booked, the Expedia listing failed to disclose the nightly resort fee to be collected at the hotel and it wasn’t indicated on my receipt. The customer service at Poco Diablo also left something to be desired. After checking out very early in the morning, I called the front desk simply to request my receipt be emailed to me to see what charges were assessed by the resort (on top of what I’d paid Expedia). I was hung up on by the front desk 3 times before being redirected to an offsite customer service rep who kept me on the phone for 20 minutes and didn’t resolve the issue. I finally got in touch with the manager who still didn’t send the receipt. Hopefully the upcoming renovations will be the overhaul this place needs but if you’re visiting Sedona any time soon, I’d look elsewhere.

The hotel was pretty and centrally located; however, the front desk was rude when we were checking in. There was a computer mix up but the front desk insisted we were at the wrong hotel. When I showed them the reservation we had to wait at least 20 minutes for a manger and then one person left us alone. When we asked for information about restaurants or things to do, they were very unhelpful. When I complained I think they upgraded our room, but overall it was not a good check in experience.

Hotel service was not good and the phones were not working to call for any help or needs. They could call us, but we couldn’t get a hold of anyone at the hotel on the phone.

Nice property & Staff. Beds were comfy. Also loved the Keurig & Maud's coffee pods! My new favorite brew! Totally recommend staying here!

The views from the hotel were amazing. The property was very quiet and you felt isolated (in a good way) yet it is still very close to downtown Sedona and the trailheads in the area.

The hotel was very quiet and clean. We had an upgraded room with a red rock view. It was very spacious and had a large jacuzzi tub. Lots of beautiful hiking close by. Food was excellent and the pool was clean.

Great place to stay for visiting Sedona. Short drive to downtown area and local hiking. Staff was helpful and dining was really good.

Room was bigger than expected, comfy bed, nice shower. Beautiful property, nice and quiet with a balcony and wonderful views. Staff were very nice, even let us borrow a couple wine glasses which was very nice. Great location too, super easy in and out of town.

The property grounds are beautiful and fairly quiet for being right off 179. The location was perfect for our stay in Sedona as it was pretty much in the middle of everything we wanted to do. I understand it is now under new ownership and will be closing for a few weeks soon for renovations. I am definitely going to keep the new resort on our list of places to stay if we retrun to Sedona.

Welcoming staff, excellent location, no additional charge for parking, beautiful surroundings, star gazing just to name the few.

This is very conveniently located between Sedona and the Village of Oak Creek. Nice grounds to walk around.

Great location with a $1 shuttle into town

This hotel was quiet and clean. Room was spacious. A little refreshing would not hurt. Staff was wonderfully nice and helpful. Plenty of parking space. A little far from the activities from Sedona but there is a free shuttle that stops in the parking lot. Fancy restaurant in the hotel: food was great!!! Although a little pricey. Did not try the outside pool, hot tub or any massages (however was very tempted, was just lack of time). Would definitely recommend, mostly for couple looking for a quiet and romantic place for a weekend.

We had breakfast twice and dinner once at the restaurant and were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. We had the cornish hen for dinner and it was awesome!

Very lovely views. Front desk employees were informative and helpful. Our room was large and had a balcony. The rooms are dated and the carpet had bad stains. But honestly everything else in the room was very nice. These rooms are scheduled for remodeling. We got an excellent rate, I’m sure that will change after the remodel. You should definitely eat breakfast at their restaurant. The food ans service was the best we had on this trip!

The amenities and views were amazing. Restaurant food is small portions for the price but was good. I was given the wrong bill ($30) more, but the mistake was corrected, but I had to request the itemized bill. Room was average, dark and outdated.

Excellent, except not walkable to anything. If you dont have a car there is only the restaurant onsite. I arrived late and hungry, the restaurant was closed. No snack machine. I had breakfast the next day burn't hash browns and very greasy bacon. They must have a different cook at night because dinner was outstanding. Recommend this hotel if you have a car and don't eat breakfast there.

The conditions of the property is decent. The food and drinks at the hotel are amazing. The only thing is a very slow service like very slow.
