The grounds are not maintained the stairs are filthy. Trash cans are overflowing. The tenants have Barbecue grills outside the rooms holding parties. Barking dogs locked in rooms. TV didn't work. No micro, no frig nit even a trash can in the room. This place is a DUMP.

Front door on our hotel room was broken ! We did not get the room we requested . there was no towels, no soap. We asked for a room with a king size bed, fridge, raider, and microwave, which was not here. It was a lot of problems.

hotel was very close to interstate, we heard traffic all night. bed was comfortable and room was clean. supposed to be coffee 24/7 in lobby but obviously you weren't allowed in, had to check in thru a teller like window. door to lobby was locked and room key doesn't open it.

Didn’t feel like a very safe area. Lots of garbage outside. Coffee machine was “down” two mornings in a row. Room was not decorated as pictured. Had to fix chain in toilet after every use to prevent it from continuously running.

The staff was nice, but I did not feel safe there with so many bugs in the room. The floors were filthy. Bugs crawling on the walls. A huge roach was on the headboard. No blankets or comforters on the bed. There was a sheet and a thin bedspread. This was the worst place I have ever been in.

Absolutely disgusting. We left a day early just to go home and avoid having to shower in the disgusting bathroom or sleep on the beds. The room smelled awful and the floor was so dirty it turned our socks/feet black. It smelled awful- like dingy wet clothes and cigarettes- even though it’s supposedly 100% smoke free. The front desk staff was nice enough- but if someone actually cleans those rooms I’d be surprised. The bedding was stained and the amount of dust build up kind of just proves my point. We had to sleep there 1 night and i literally slept on top of some of my clothes to avoid touching the bedding. Probably the worst experience I’ve ever had. I never ever leave reviews, especially bad ones. But whoever is in charge of cleanliness at this red roof does not do their job. I wanted a refund but didn’t even argue about it because I was just so desperate to leave a day early. Gross.

The location was ok . It wasn't really far from good food or restaurants, but the bed sheets had little stains on them and black nasty mold at the bottom around one of the bed sheets. The floor was filthy as if it hadn't been swept or mopped in a month. Dead flies lye on the floor in the restroom and sink area. The tub and shower was nasty. The shower floor especially had visible scum and dirt all caked on. Overall I didn't want to touch anything, but I was so tired that I just lay and rest for a night, Disgusted

Nasty hotel. Stains and semen saturated bed mattress, i've never seen mattressed this bad. They moved us to another room just as bad with stained mattress, broken dresser drawers, wiring where a firedetector should be and caked on grim you just don't want to touch. Upon check-in, I noticed the hotel was in the middle of a remodel. I witnessed staff throwing out mattresses, which immediately raised red flags. I asked if there had been a bed bug issue, and I was told, very confidently, that there were no pest problems. Unfortunately, this was not true. Two days into my stay, my family and I discovered a live bed bug crawling across our bed. We killed it, took photos and video as evidence, and were forced to go out and purchase our own bed bug spray. When I brought this to the attention of not one, but three different staff members, my concerns were met with complete disregard and unnecessary attitude. No one offered assistance or even acknowledged the seriousness of the situation. The problems didn’t stop there. One night, my young child became ill and vomited all over the bedding and floor. I went to the front desk requesting clean linens or at the very least some basic cleaning supplies. I was told there was nothing they could provide. At 3:00 AM, I had no choice but to go to Walmart to purchase sheets, blankets, and cleaning products just to make the room livable again. At no point was I offered help or support — only indifference. Additionally, there is a particular front desk employee — a heavier-set woman — whose behavior was especially concer

The whole place is run down and in need of a deep deep deep cleaning, dusting, bleaching and carpet cleaning. The room had a smell, the the door handle was loose. All the walls were dirty. The bathroom looked like it hadnt been cleaned before we checked in. There was about a1/4 inch of toilet paper in the bathroom. The bed had stains in the blankets and sheets. There was candy wrappers from places weve never been too on the floor. The tv had a 1/3 of the screen that was green. Some of the power outlets did not work. One of the beds was so uneven it sloped downhill. It was also super soft. The other was firm and springy. Overall. As a place to sleep for 2 nights it was tolerable. But we wont stay there again.

The renovations we saw in our room completely transformed the space into a modern and comfortable stay. I loved the desk and the entire setup. My only concern is that they cheaped out on the bed, it was hard and uncomfortable. Although I love the room now I will likely consider other options.

The room was in horrible condition; holes in the wall; bathroom door would not close; painted profanity on the wall that was painted over but you could still see it; trash and glass in parking lot; bed mattress basically sunk to the floor on the one side; tv had black lines down the screen.

Hard to open the entry door. Could not get a/c or heat to work. No way to stop water from draining in the bathtub. Poor handicap features. The hold bars are too low for one taking a shower. I am 6’1”. The hold bars are fine for someone taking a bath. Table lamp worked but sans lamp shade. Hot running water, TV, bed, chair up to par. Choice of TV channels pretty dismal. This was in 1st floor handicapped room 122.

This Red roof Inn is awful, There were small trash bags in the hallway by the over running Garbage cans. Right before I got to my room walking down another hallway smelt like straight urine. Get inside my room the dresser is completely broken,as in it was missing the bottom draw completely and the other two were stuck .the light was going out and it was super low and blinking( I was Told that maintenance will be here in the morning, no one can help me tonight) cigarette holes on the comforter and sheets and mildew on the shower curtain. Went directly back down to the front desk to ask for a different room and was told with an attitude that all the rooms are the same. If you want to fell safe dont stay here.

I booked April 10 for a 2 night stay last May 12-14. I got an email the week prior that my reservation was 'guaranteed'. On my way up, around 8pm, the property called and said they tried to run my card and they gave away my room when it didn't go through. My card worked for three other purchases the same day and to book another room after they cancelled on me. They could have called me before giving my room away. As a result, I ended up looking for a new room while traveling with 2 kids and 2 dogs for an event in the area. Available places were few and far between and I ended up at a place where my car was vandalized overnight. I am pretty upset that they gave my room away - why bother with making a reservation? Why didn't hotels.com do anything since the reservation was guaranteed? I will just use my travel credit card to make reservations in the future. This is terrible customer service on two fronts. Ruined my weekend.

Stay the night to wake up to my car being towed because they were “fixing” the pavement. Didn’t give proper notice to anyone. Employees are rude , unprofessional and aren’t trained thoroughly. Do not waste your time and money here.

Booked a room through hotels.com and got a authorization yes they had rooms. Went to the hotel and the front desk rude woman says we don't have any rooms you don't have a reservation. I looked around the hotel and you can see plenty of open drapes meaning an empty room. I don't know what her game was but I called hotels.com and it took it over an hour to finally get them to say they spoke to her and confirmed what I already told them! Then another few to find me a ratty hotel in the wrong part of town I told them about and not on the way back to Columbus from Detroit. I said just give me my money back and I hung up. Stop it a couple of hotels on the drive and everything is booked so I'm driving 3 hours back to Columbus in the middle of the morning 3:00 a.m.!

This place was very disappointing. The building looked quite old and rundown. The room reeked with cigarette smoke and other trapped odors. This was supposed to be a non-smoking room. The a/c unit worked but was dirty and outer covering was removed and left lying on the floor. The microwave, when in use sounded like an airplane taking off on a runway. The only good thing that I could say was that the desk clerk who was working that day was very kind considering the rooms were over-booked. I do not attribute any of this negative review on this person. When I pulled up in the parking lot, I saw some people who looked like they were long term tenants, not an attractive feature for the hotel. Some were staring out of the window, another hanging out from the second floor with very questionable behavior. Because of the smell and other things that I mentioned I had to check out a day early and find another hotel. This location did not have any other rooms available to better accommodate me with. Overall, I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a decent and clean room or hotel. I have stayed at a Red Roof Inn in other places in the past and I was quite satisfied. This place would receive a 3 out of 10 stars possible score if I was to rate this location.

Not a thing. The trashiest hotel ive stayed in since i was in my warly 20s. This used to be a good hotel. Now it is a drug infested home for jail releases. I was up fishing a professional with my boat and had to being my boat elsewhere in fear of it being stolen. Room stunk. Outside smelled like weed 24-7 and not once did houskeeping clean my room. I give this hotel -100000 stars!!

Staff was nice . Water was good and hot for the showers. Room was nice and warm.Room's were dirty carpet wasnt vacuumed. Any of the non carpeted floors were dirty also. Alot of shady characters hang out around there. Stayed there Sat and Sunday . Sunday the coffee wasn't made till 9;45 . But you get what you pay for and it was cheap .
