Hot tub was gross, no lighting around the pool so it wasn't really usable to us. Breakfast was lacking variety and freshness. The entrance was very nice, but the rooms need some updating/cleaning. Overpriced for a quick stay.

We arrived about 8:30 pm after driving for 15 hours. The deal clerk said she didn’t have a reservation for us. I showed her the confirmation from hotels.com and she still couldn’t find it. She said “I can book you another room though.” I said but I’d have to pay for that right? And she said yes. So I called hotels.com and the agent was able to help her find it. She then said she needed to check our room because “you’re already checked in.” She wanted to see my ID again, but wouldn’t tell me why. We have a service dog and 2 pets, she told me we were over the 2 pet limit. I explained that service dogs aren’t counted and she said “it’s ok I’ll make an exception.” I asked where to take the dogs to relieve them and was told there is no longer a pet area. I asked where I was suppose to take them then and she said “anywhere outside is fine.” Every outside area is nothing but rocks. That was very difficult as there really wasn’t any place to take them. The room itself was nice, beds were comfortable, but the front desk clerk was not very helpful and the lack of a pet area at a hotel that has “we love your pets” emblazoned on the sign is really pretty terrible.

I have been staying at Days Inn & Suites, a Wyndham Hotel, for years, however my last stay at one in this same area was the absolute worst. So,when I found that La Quinta was also a part of the Wyndham family & saw the great reviews, I booked it right then. I can say with all honesty that I will never stay at the "Comfort" hotels anymore. From the moment you walk in to La Quinta, you are immediately greeted with a relaxed ambiance and staff that are always there to assist you 24/7. They have many more amenities & their breakfast was fantastic! As a pet/house sitter I was worried my frozen foods wouldnt fit into the freezer in my suite, so the lo ely young lady at the front desk actually offered to put it into their walk-in overnight & just retrieve it in the morning. Even though it is right off the highway, I didn't here one single vehicle. There is covered parking which is great at this time of the year in Tucson, AZ. The room was so clean & smelled amazing. I was even next to the the guest laundry & outdoor pool/hot tub/grilling area. This La Quinta went above & beyond my expectations & if need arises, will 100% be using this one again. Thank you all for a stress free experience.

We always like staying at this hotel and staying in their 1 bedroom suite. The only thing to comment on was the hot tub that was not hot.They are not called a luke warm tub. Other than that everything was just fine.

If you were traveling through the Tucson area for business or pleasure, I highly suggest you seek other accommodations. At 11:30 at night, my husband went to the bathroom and a cockroach ran over his foot. The thing was massive. We called downstairs, a lady was able to get us into another room, but only after going inside and checking for different rooms. Why was she checking the rooms? The next morning, she looked me dead in the eyes and said “were there any ‘friends’ in this room?“ and then informed us that we would be paying full price for the room. There was never an apology given.

Carpets throughout the property needed to be cleaned including the rooms with “questionable” stains near the beds. Visual mold in the shower / bath area and years of rust on the corner beads on the drywall corners. It seems to be a favorite of those south coming across to shop at the outlet mall across the freeway.

I liked the area right off the freeway. Butbthe hallway smelled like wet dog or animals (i understand that pets stay there), the elevator was kind if small and slow but other than that it was a good experience

The hotel itself is pretty ran down. It has a musty smell. I felt horrible for the manager. She had to come into our bathroom and change out parts of the shower that were broken because she said that her maintenance guy was only there a couple times a month she also had the front end staff help her, they were beyond nice. They all deserve raises, but the facilities themselves need to be upgraded. Like I said our shower was broken and did not work and the poor manager had to fix it herself. The carpet had a musty smell throughout the whole location I would not stay there again. There was huge chunks of paint and parts of the wall that were missing in our bedroom , as for the cleaning staff, I had to ask them three times if they could please change our bedding, we stayed for five days. They only change the bedding once and never came in and cleaned our room. Staff was amazing except for the cleaning staff.

The room was very nice. I do believe that there needs to be better lighting - a desk lamp is definitely needed for those who need to work. Also, please get rid of the blue fluorescent ceiling lights. Just regular lights would be a much better option. They really don’t add any additional light in a room that really needs some. With all that said I would definitely book here again.

Room is ok, but bathroom is small. Wash basin and counter are outside the bathroom and has no place/hooks to hang a towel. It’s difficult to dry one’s hands if the bathroom is in use. Breakfast is ok. Parking spaces have shades with solar panels I think. A plus for the environment.

We had someone staying in the room above us and all the running, jumping around someone was doing made you think they were going to come thru the ceiling . I called the front desk and asked them to contact the occupant of that room and get them to walk like a normal person and not use their room for a track meet. Well nothing changed. This was the worst hotel experience I have had in over 20 years. NEVER EVER stay at a La Quinta again.

Check in was a disaster. Arrived just before 7pm on Sunday. Given keys to a room that was still dirty and had other people\'s belongings in it. The very nice housekeeper in the hall goes "not again!" then escorted us downstairs to the desk to get us a new room that had been cleaned. The front desk woman was rude and kept saying it wasn\'t her fault and that the other guest should have already checked out. The room we were given 219 had a faulty latch and required extra effort to get it to close securely. The TV from the room next door could be heard all night long. Breakfast buffet was cold and basic, not refreshed at all.

I have stayed at other locations and they were great. The service was terrible. First off. The front desk staff were rude and very disrespectful. Come to find out it was the GM. I stayed for 6 nights and only had maids service two times. Day two I called to get towels and TP. Staff informed me that I would have to come to the front desk to pick it up. I got to the desk and asked GM for items. I was told that I would only be able to get one TP and two towels. And I could request more in two days. Mind blowing. Breakfast was terrible. On day 3. I had enough. So I asked to speak to the general manager about my experience with her and the overall. dissatisfaction I was having as a customer. She informed me that I could take my complaints to the corporate office and gave me an email. I informed her all I wanted to do was ask for some simple items. First, if she could help me figure out why the Wi-Fi was not working. To why I couldn’t get maid service at least every other day. I have stayed at other locations and they were great. The service was terrible. First off. The front desk staff were rude and very disrespectful. Come to find out it was the GM. I stayed for 6 nights and only had maids service two times. Day two I called to get towels and TP. Staff informed me that I would have to come to the front desk to pick it up. I got to the desk and asked GM for items. I was told that I would only be able to get one TP and two towels. And I could request more in two days. Mind blowing. Breakfast was terrible. On day 3. I had enough. So I asked to speak to the general manager about my experience with her and the overall. dissatisfaction I was having as a customer. She informed me that I could take my complaints to the corporate office and gave me an email. I informed her all I wanted to do was ask for some simple items. First, if she could help me figure out why the Wi-Fi was not working. To why I couldn’t get maid service at least every other day. Three if I could get my room vacuumed and at least the trash picked up. Along with the fact of her disposition of being rude forceful. And just overall unprofessional. I could go on and on and on, but definitely that hotel, along with the rest of the hotels in the chain will no longer receive my business.

Check in was 15 minutes, the clerk had the personality of a turnip and gave us keys that didn’t work. The next morning there was no breakfast served. When we returned in the evening we were locked out of our room AGAIN and the same clerk said “ oops, I thought you were only here 1 night” When we got to our room it had not been cleaned. The next morning the breakfast was open. They had butter but no bread. They had cream cheese but no bagels. Gravy was cold as were the eggs and potatoes. They didn’t even try to make it right with any apologies. The people running this location know nothing about the Hospitality business.

Stayed at the La Quinta in Tucson for one night. Overall had a good stay. Did the pre-check in process that was texted to me on the road before arriving, but ultimately I think this made check in more complicated when I got there, so I wouldn’t bother with that. Location of hotel is great, lots of food options and shopping nearby. Parking area was large and easy (we were towing a trailer). Room was clean and bed quite comfortable. Would recommend bringing in your own pillow if you have it with you. AC worked well and wasn’t too loud. The breakfast in the morning was good and had options for everyone (coffee, juice, yogurt, bagels/bread/muffins, cereal, eggs/bacon/potato, waffles, fruit). Would stay here again.

Desk staff was wonderful. Breakfast was not ready at 6am as stated. Eight people, including myself, were told breakfast was not until 7. I spoke to the check in staff person who then pitched in to help the 1 person responsible for getting breakfast out for us.

Great place! Highly recommend. Spacious room, comfy beds. First experience with LaQuinta but will definitely use again. Only negative was lousy breakfast, y’all need to find a new service. Eggs rubbery, bacon not well cooked. Fortunately pancakes saved the experience.

Hot tub was gross, no lighting around the pool so it wasn't really usable to us. Breakfast was lacking variety and freshness. The entrance was very nice, but the rooms need some updating/cleaning. Overpriced for a quick stay.

Check in was not the friendliest after a long and tiring day outside. She was more worried about talking to someone about her car rather than welcoming and checking us in. My bed was hard and tho it looked clean, it felt like it had dust mites or something and I have been itchy since then. Breakfast was less than par. All of the juices were water except the oj which seemed to be straight concentrate. The bacon was gone all but a couple scraps and there were not a lot of options to choose from. Upon checking out, nobody came to the front desk. The breakfast staff came over and took my room keys and I didn’t want to wait any longer to get a receipt. The renovation was more of a bandaid than actual upgrade. I opted to spend a bit more money on this hotel thinking that it would be better and more comfortable. I’ll stick with the ones that I know are more reliable from here on.

Looked like it had recently been remodeled. The bathtub however needed to be replaced. Enamel was chipped off about the size of a 50¢ coin right in the center of the bottom. Outside of the young lady who checked us in, the staff wasn't friendly and rather defensive when you asked a question. We were surprised that daily maid service had been stopped. Not happy about that after paying $200 per night.

What really left a bad taste in my mouth was being forced to listen to Fox News propagandistic garbage during breakfast - that may prevent me from returning.
