Jacuzzi was not working!!!

Lovely, affordable duplex-like units in the hills. Quiet. Great view of the city below. Excellent front desk and concierge service. Undergoing renovations so no restaurant or bar on site at this time, but super convenient shuttle to the Marriott resort a short distance away. Would definitely staycation here again.

Walls too thin. Minimal eating options and closes to early. Trash overflowing in front of clubhouse, pot broke on patio, no weights in gym, bartender not pleasant, can’t charge to room.

The reason I chose this property was the pool. When I arrived, they told me the pool was closed and a text was sent on 3/22. No text was sent. I checked spam texts-everywhere! No communication. They even had my phone number when I checked in so I know I could have been contacted. This was 2 weeks before I left, and I would have cancelled had I known. They did let me use the sister locations pool, which was gorgeous, but 1 1/2 miles away and not very convenient. The room was wonderful. The grounds were great. All staff were pleasant. I just feel like I was duped, because I went through a 3rd party (and could have cancelled up to 3 days before). I knew the restaurant was closed, but nothing was said about the pool.

Excellent, really large, sparkling clean pool, Only the outside bathroom needs an update but it was clean.

Close to Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum and Saguaro National Park. Otherwise a little distant form Tucson. Wonderful swimming pool and tennis courts besides golf.

The 1 bedroom condo is a great space w/ kitchen, washer/dryer, balcony and great views. Gym and pool were fine. Beautiful area close to Saguaro National Monument for great hiking. We watched a bobcat, a coyote and 8 deer from our balcony walking around the desert. Talked to a handful of employees during our 5 days and every one of them was helpful and informative and really nice. Easy drive into Tucson but real nice to return to. 4 o'clock check-in sucks and the 10 am check out is no better.

It was a nice place and located near the the Saguaro National Park West. They were in a remodel stage and I believe when the renovation of the main are and pool is completed it will be nice.

The staff was friendly and professional. The property was beautiful and quiet. The room was nice and clean.

I really like this place. I go in early October so it’s still the offseason. Very clean and well kept. The pool and grounds are well cared for. Away from town so it’s quiet but still close to major attractions.

Our room was full of scorpions and bugs. I was very disappointed

Room was not clean, very dusty. Not fully supplied with toiletries. No ice machines. Not worth the money to stay there.

This is a beautiful property, the rooms are clean and comfy . I will definitely come back to stay again .

Floors could be better cleaned

Amazing location and cleanliness was outstanding!

The room was filthy. I had to clean everything with Clorox wipes. Still the carpet was so filthy my husband had an asthma attack. We left immediately and had to find alternate arrangements. We are still waiting to hear back re a efund. The gentleman at the front desk said he would do so. Yet nothing

Property is well maintained, and the unit was clean and what we were looking for. The staff is professional and thorough.

The location and scenery around Starr Pass Golf Suites is absolutely stunning. It is situated away from the hustle and bustle of Tucson, with easy to access hiking trails. The outdoor pool are is gorgeous and so are the views from the restaurant on the premises. All that being said, here are the downsides we encountered. 1) I made the reservation online through Travelocity.I requested a studio room with a King size bed. We were given a room with two doubles. When I called the front desk they said because the reservation was made through a third party, they did not receive notes from our reservation that we reserved a studio with a King bed. My husband is over 6 ft and his feet hung off our bed. A room with a King finally came available, but by the time we found out about it, we only had one night left. 2) Our room shared a wall with another room. We could hear everything going on! Conversations. Their TV. Alarms. Literally, everything. We had to sleep with earplugs. 3) The refrigerator in our room froze everything. Water. Food we brought. Milk. My husband finally turned it the temperature control to off, and it still froze everything. 4) Even though there were tons of channels to watch, a large percentage didn't work. The reception was sketchy so picture and sound were in and out. Not a huge deal, just disappointing. We might stay here again, if there was a way to not share a wall with another room, or if they added insulation for better soundproofing.

I liked the rooms and comfort. The nature view was beautiful. The deck was lacking in appearance. It was looking a little shabby. But the units themselves were lovely. Thank you for a great stay.

It was clean & the accommodations were very nice but I requested a king bed & ended up with 2 double beds so my husband & I had to sleep in separate beds.

We love Starr Pass. Very quiet & relaxing. We saw quite a bit of wildlife this visit which was very exciting! We saw deer, javelina, roadrunners and a tarantula. The property is very clean. Pool was refreshing and quiet. Someone did run into our vehicle in the parking lot tho, & didn’t leave their information. That was our biggest let down. The bedroom was comfortable. The adjoining room was not very sound proof tho. We could hear the person next door talking, a dog barking and the phone ringing. Overall we were happy and will definitely return another time!

The golf suites seemed distant to resort amenities. The bar restaurant was under construction so there was nothing to eat/drink without going to main resort area a mile away. Room was a lot smaller than advertised online. Was basically a standard hotel room not a suite. Staff was very nice and facilities were immaculate. Overall a good time. But probably wouldn’t book again. Would rather spend the extra for the marriott resort

Inexpensive in the off season if you search for deals, not as posh as the resort, but then it's less than half the price. Even the studio rooms are fairly big. You can text the front desk for supplies, and they are pretty prompt. Staff is friendly. Beware - WiFi was either broken or weak and didn't reach our unit, and the property wasn't very interested in fixing it.

loved the view from the room, stunning sunrise, really nice swimming pool, beautiful territory, starr pass hiking trail starts from the back yard; the studio room looked and felt more like a hotel room, would be nice to have a table/sitting area outside, but overal really pleasant stay, would come again

Great space. It worked for me and my son because he could be in the main room and I could be on the sofa bed and I could snore like nobody's business, wake up early, make coffee in a full kitchen (gas stove, regular fridge, dishes and cooking wear, washer and dryer) and could watch my own TV and etc, while he is sleeping in the bedroom. Plus, I love that area. Tucson, in my opinion can be very ugly, but there is some areas outside of the city that are pretty and have cactus on hills that looked like they are stacked on top of each other. This is one of those places. Plus, a great living community, expensive resort nearby, and the golf course that circles this place is very beautiful. Restaurant food is good, but expensive, draft beer issues and like most places, restaurant drama is there. Plus,no breakfast joint, that sucked. Price for room was fantastic but think that was timing because it is now summer. So my advice is If the price is competitive it is worth it.

We felt so welcomed and anything we needed was sent almost immediately.

Although the clubhouse was under renovation, the staff was outstanding on point and courteous couldn’t have asked for a better experience shout out to Sade and Ana and their staff. Can’t wait to return.

Beautiful setting and convenient to Saguaro National park. Staff was pleasant and quickly accommodated the bedding for pull-out sofa which was not found in the unit. Was disappointed with happy hour as they did not have a bartender so mixed drinks were not available.

Staff allowed early check in. Staff was very helpful in meeting our supply needs. We alway stay here when visiting Tucson as is feels like home.

There was no information provided about the restaurant being closed on Monday’s and Tuesday’s. I arrived in the evening on a Monday. I didn’t stop anywhere prior to arrival because I was tired and just expecting to get something light at the property. Nope. Closed. I had to leave and go find something. The parking areas around my little spot were being paved and everyone in my set of rooms had to find others areas to park. Which meant coming back during the night walking back to your room through a complex alone with roaming coyotes and weird hog like creatures walking around looking for food. My encounter with these rodents or hogs caused me to fall in the gravel resulting in a bloody knee and hand but there is no help after 10. I had hot water issues twice in my bathroom and had to wait a lengthy amount of time for maintenance. All in all the place is beautiful, super clean and quiet. My time of arrival was when things were being worked on such as paving and internet update. I just wish that I had been informed and was only informed about the internet outage. My advice in staying here is ask prior about anything and everything.

This was our first stay at this resort and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Staff was very friendly and helpful, great hospitality! Walking trails were also very good. If we are going to visit our daughter then we definitely will stay here again. Highly recommended!

Great Staff. They check in a few times to make sure all was well. Everyone was friendly and very accommodating. Great views, quiet location. I'd definitely return.

Beautiful setting. Very close to traihead. Long walk to pool with no actual pathway. No maid service so no coffee pot cleaning or new coffee and there is nowhere close to get coffee.

The casitas are lovely tucked away from the U of A busy and hectic rhythm of a college town. We love the hiking trails surrounding the property. Landscape is well taken care of- the shuttle can take you to JW Marriott for a wonderful meal or just to lounge by the pool. Not a lot of noise, just peace and tranquility surrounded by unforgettable Tucson beauties, sunrise and sunset. Strongly recommended and it’s only 15 minute drive to the U of Arizona or other Tucson’s points of interests.

Very quiet and restful. Just a short drive up from downtown Tucson.

Very much enjoyed our stay. Loved the quiet location and proximity to Star Pass hiking.

Scenic Quiet Relaxing

Property location is prime for easy access to Tucson Mountain Park trails. Room and facilities exceeded expectations.

Great location near a nice trailhead for hiking through the Saguaros. Close to downtown Tucson and great restaurants. Excellent golf course and near Saguaro National Park. We've stayed here several times.

Really loved seeing all the wildlife! Saw deer, a toad, a trantula, cyotes, road runners, lots of moths! Really great room! It had a toaster, fridge, and microwave plus a 4 person dinner set. (only complaint was the ac couldnt be set below 72° and we were confirmed to have a king bed but were put in a room with two standard beds. The pool also closes at 9pm and that really sucked because we would go and do wedding stuff during the day and get back and want to soak as it is still 90° plus outside and the pool would be closed. It would be great if it were open later. Like midnight.) The staff were great we were informed that the wifi might not be working but it was fine the whole time we stayed. There is no included breakfast but a restraunt on the property that was dine in or take out. Most grocery stores and other food options were about 15 minutes away.

The room was nice and we enjoyed our stay. It's a nice hotel in a beautiful location. When I booked the room, though, the website indicated that there is a safe in every room. We found out after check-in that no room at this hotel has a safe. That was disappointing. Additionally, the hotel restaurant was closed for a private event and there was no notification to guests that they would have to go off site for food. Despite those things, we enjoyed our room and our stay.

Martha went out of her way to make our stay amazing. We really enjoyed all of the wildlife in the area. It was so cool to see the golf course is absolutely breathtaking. The only downfall was the restaurant is under renovations currently But there were several restaurants within a 5 to 6 mile distance. This location is also very close to the JW Marriott.

Should tell incoming guests that WiFi is marginal at best and that restaurant is closed thru Wednesday.

The property is going through renovations but the room and pool area were clean. I wish the restaurant was open but there were restaurants nearby.
