Room was cute and remodeled. Ice machine was not working outside. AC was not working well in the room. Pool are iwas no good. Pool was dirty. Jacuzzi was not working. Breakfast was not good. Fake eggs. Staff at reception was nice tho. Won’t stay again tho

I didn’t like that they charge 5.00 to park on the property

The pool area had no lights on at night hot tub didn't work also ice machine didn't work out of side or in the refrigerator in the room. Stayed couple of night I told them about the situation and they just didn't do anything very disappointed would like some kind of resolution

Kitchen area, kitchen utilities (like coffee maker) need to be better cleaned. The few things we touched or used in the kitchen felt sticky. Areas in front of apartments (doors, stairways, etc) need cleaning too.reaemtns Had we had time to enjoy the pool, we would not have used it. I definitely needs cleaning, not only in terms what was floating on the surface but also had accumulated on the bottom

The staff were welcoming and helpful. I couldn't beat the price for a room with a kitchen and the convenient location to Tucson activities. However, the property is in need of updating and a thorough cleaning.The jets in the hot tub were not working which was disappointing. We turned the timer knob to turn them on, but not much happened. The pool was clean - but had some broken tiles. The pictures online look nice, but in-person things are cheaply painted and unkempt. There was some litter on the sidewalks up to our room. It was there for about 2 days before someone picked it up (I wasn't going to touch it as it was a rubber glove). The dishes in our room had dried on food. We scrubbed everything by hand before using them. Also, the room only came with one spoon and one fork. I did get more from the front desk. There was no blow dryer in the room and I had to get this from the front desk. Upon inspecting the dishwasher, it was clear that it was not working properly. We saw the occasional bug in the dishwasher and in the sink/kitchen area. On our last day, I did a Google image search of the bug and it came up as a Roach nymph. I left a note for the cleaning staff that they may have a potential Roach problem. Overall, it was an okay stay, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone or stay there again. It certainly does not qualify as a 3-star hotel.

Honestly the post for this was deceiving. It looked like you were getting an updated room when really it was quite the opposite. Bed was uncomfortable for both my wife and myself. Dead bugs on the floor in our room. The pool was dirty and not open. The breakfast was eh okay. Honestly shouldn’t have to pay for parking they claim to have security but didn’t see them once. Definitely won’t be going back

The room was very dirty. Especially the floors. The outside of the property was dirty as well. Took my daughter to go swimming at the pool and the pool light was detached and just floating and hanging by wire. Scared me that someone was going to get electrocuted. We also brought our dog on our trip and when we booked we got an email from the Sonesta and it stated $25 pet fee. When we checked in the lady said $50. I showed her the email I received from Sonesta NOT Expedia and she said corporate hasn’t updated the information and I suggested that they maybe update it and she said it takes corporate a real long time to do things. The staff was friendly and the breakfast decent. Don’t think I would stay here again.

Had to pay for parking at $5/day! We were not expecting to have the additional costs.

Clean Room although you could smell at one time it had been a smoking room.

Room was filthy, black soot in bathtub. Disgusting, had to leave and fina another place to stay.

The bath was dirty. The body wash in one of bathroom was absent. The staf on the front desk is not attention about client's information.

Room had a cracked table, cigar burns on the couch and little table, dirty grout in the bathroom, overall poor condition. Remote control was missing the battery cover and was taped with scotch tape. Homeless around the property. Won’t be staying here again. Staff was wonderful.

Room is very dirty found Vapes underneath the bed and use tissues under the bed that were never cleaned up kitchen table was cracked down the middle

The beds were comfortable, but the room itself was pretty dirty. The room we stayed in looked like it needed to be upgraded. There were cracks on the table top. It was just not well taken care of.

Checked out early as did the 4 families we traveled with. DO NOT be fooled by the pictures! The rooms, which we were in 2 large suites with the Queen beds and above loft king bed were filthy and unsanitary! There was animal vomit in front of our fridge and the front desk gave me a rag to clean it, when I brought it back they sent a maid over at our request. She sprayed some cleaner on the floor then threw another rag down and used a BROOM to push it around saying it works better than the mop. She also sprayed a carpet freshener on several stains and left. The silverware was dirty, carpets had strong smell of urine, broken tiles everywhere, ketchup on lampshade, fans covered with dirt, table was broken, chairs were unstable and to top it off all the bed linens had yellow stains. Every time we had to go to the desk they never once offered to come look at the room or apologize which caused us all to checkout 2 days early. This place has potential but they do not take pride in it and it shows in the cleanliness and customer service.

We booked a 2-story loft but didn’t find out until we arrived that there wasn’t one available. We were moved to 2 separate rooms near each other. I brought a child with me so one of us had to sleep alone. The property sinks/bathtub did not drain. Rooms for our entire softball team were dirty moldy and some covered in pet urine. Would not recommend for a family.

Rooms are dirty. Urine odor in the rooms hard to breathe. Rooms are not clean enough. Would not recommend. Way better choices in the area.

I loved!! that there was a full kitchen in the unit! It was awesome not having to eat out all the time over my 3 night stay. It had a full fridge as well. Great for long stays. The room was very spacious which was nice. All amenities were good. The main thing I did not like was that the room didn’t seem to be cleaned thoroughly in the living/kitchen areas. The couch looked like it had weird stains on it. The carpet right in front of the couch had some pretty gross stains even though the carpet was dark you could still see crumbs and things. The kitchen floor was bad too. It looked like it hadn’t really been mopped specially after I spilled some juice and wiped it up the paper towel I used was extra dark. The bed sheets had some stains also and the hand towels in the restroom looked like they hadn’t been changed. Maybe no one used them last time so they were not changed but you could tell when I opened it to check, the outside was brown but the inside was white. Make sure to check those here before you use. Those were easy fixes however, I requested new sheets but I did not utilize any towels and was lucky to have brought my own. Although the restroom area and shower/tub were clean. Overall was a good stay and would stay again.

We stayed here for 2 nights. The check-in person seemed overwhelmed. Evidently there were a lot of issues. We found out later some of them. One of our door cards did not work. The wifi was ridiculous, it was like the old dial up speed. We called a tech person after going to the main office, then it worked better for a short time.The TV channel guide they gave us did not match what was on our TV, and we could not even get the most basic channels. We had to watch a program on my phone, because I couldn't even get it on my laptop with the wifi. After driving six hours we were looking forward to swimming in the pool, but there was a couple in the pool with a loud boom box (yes, like the old ones) for at least 3 hours. We would check outside our door every half hour and they were still in the pool. We gave up. I can't believe no one in the office couldn't hear the music. There was a good breakfast and the staff seemed nice, but I would not stay here for an extended time, which is what it' set up for. P.S. We found a dirty dish in the cupboard. Yuck.

We booked a loft suite and were pleased with the spaciousness. We are so happy with Sonesta Suites, we won't book anywhere else when we are in Tucson.

Our time here started off badly. We arrived around 9pm to the hotel and were told that our family suite was unavailable because of a broken circuit breaker. I asked about another suite and was told there was nothing, but that tomorrow they could put us into a different suite. I asked about what we should do for the night, and the person was not helpful. I had my wife and 4 young kids in the car waiting, so eventually I asked if we can just stay in the room with the breaker issue for the night and then figure it out. They agreed and it wasn't so bad since it was just that one bathroom did not have light (we had a small battery nightlight in there). The next day they tried to fix the breaker and failed; we were told we needed to switch to a different room. This was a bother since we had already unpacked, but oh well. The second room was ok. Things are a bit dated and the entryway to the bathroom had a broken tile that I had to keep warning my kids about to prevent tripping. Otherwise, it was fine and the rest of the week was ok. Oh, the breakfast was not quite as advertised. The taco station was only there for the first two days of the seven; and on a few occasions things were not out at the start time (we were early risers). Still, it was fine. On the plus side, the pool was nice and warm and the proximity to Trader Joes was helpful. The management did try to make up for the first two days and comped those nights, so that was appreciated.

Large rooms, full size refrigerator, stove and oven. Could use more silverware kind of a waste to run dishwasher with so few dishes in it. Especially with it being full size dishwasher.

Large room with kitchenette. Don't stay on the first floor as you can hear people above walking. Unfortunately I had to deal with late night and early morning walking for hours by the upstairs group.

When we arrived there was an amazing front desk gentleman who gelped us check in who was very nice and had a sweet little dog with him. After getting to our room thats when it was obvious they did not upkeep their quality of rooms. The carpet was stained and dingy, the leather couch was gross and had a dingy brown overused look to it. The kitchen was nice untill i stepped on the floor and it grabbed my socks like it had not been cleaned properly. The rooms were nice but jadnt been really cleaned around which means the house keeper is not vacuuming up to par. The entire capret could use a good cleaning. When we called for room sercive the next day they let us know they had to many check outs to assist us and the house keeper was too busy. After that conversation we went down for breakfast which was alright, everything was taking time to restock after the first wave of people. It was not what we expected at all and was discouraging to think about going to another sonesta...

I stayed 9 days but they never clean my rooms my entire stay, even they didn’t change towels. Breakfast menu reduced almost nothing. I reserved suit but at last moment an hour before they called and said that there is a problem in suites so they gave two separate rooms. There was no room service at all. If you need anything you have to go at front desk and grab yourself. Over all this location at tucson speedway Blvd should consider for more cleanness and better service otherwise don’t recommend other guest for this place.

Have stayed at this location several times for work. Always had a good experience. The rooms are very spacious and always clean. I also like the easy access parking. The staff is also extremely friendly. Will be staying here on my future business trips as well.

Great location & staff was excellent

The staff was so friendly, especially when I lost my keys and I locked myself out of the room literally within 30 minutes of each other

I came to property to check in a little after 3pm and the type of room I reserved was not available. I was not able to check in until more or less 445pm. This was inconvenient I had to waste time and gas when I have been resting.

They took forever releasing my deposit still haven't got it back it's been weeks

Anna was very helpful. I had a cancellation on the hotel that I had first booked with. She was able to find me a room because I wouldn’t have a place to stay.

Staff was friendly, Ac was good.. as a single woman traveler I was not comfortable being put at the back of the hotel along the parking lot and fence of another hotel.

Very nice room. Initially I was concerned about my decision to book at Sonesta ES, but I am glad we stayed. Good choice if staying more than 2 days, property is well maintained and area is safe.

The location was good. Close to a lot of hiking trails. We arrived late at night and found are rooms dirty and smelly. After complaining, the staff graciously moved us to other rooms and refunded our first night. The breakfast menu was very limited and often there was things like cutlery and coffee run out or missing. Would not recommend this hotel to my friends.

The hotel is in a great location. It is near a super Walmart and Trader Joe's. It is easy to access Highway 10 and 19. We chose this hotel because it has a complete kitchen.

The location was great for me and where I had to be the next morning. My particular room was a bit noisy, between street traffic on Speedway and the refrigerator.

We were a bit concerned with the reviews of the hotel on another website but we’re pleasantly suprised. The hotel is a bit tired and needs a bit of TLC but the rooms were large and airy, great aircon and we got a free upgrade to a loft which would have slept a family of 6 Breakfast was very good but finished at 8.30 am! Area is good for site seeing as well

Convenient location and great rates.

The place had a "condo" feel to it. Very pleasant staff. Room was clean and well laid out. Bed comfortable. We were in a unit towards the back so it was quiet. I recommend this place.

For the price, the property was much better than we expected, nice clean rooms and friendly staff. On the downside, there was a dirty bed sheet thrown under a stairwell, and the breakfast bar had a broken waffle maker, was out of scrambled eggs, ran out of coffee, and lacked other stated options. But what do you expect for free? Overall a good stay and a great value.

The only complaint that i had was on my last day there was no complimentary breakfast available, other than that i would stay again.

Sonesta used to be amazing. Over the years it has gone down in quality. Staff is tired and unprofessional. They always run out of breakfast 40 mins before closing. They ran out of towels on our 3rd day. No comforters.

Staff was awesome and very welcoming. Clean room, one issue, addressed immediately. Good breakfast.

We stayed for 5 nights over thanksgiving. The room was well furnished and clean. The carpet is dated and needs to be replaced. We went to the breakfast bar once and did not care for it. Parking was very convenient. The trash containers remained full and were not emptied during our stay. It was a good value and the location was convenient for us. We will likely stay there again.

The hotel is currently under renovation. It was perfect for the price. The staff was fabulous and very helpful. The room was perfect, clean and the bed was super comfortable. This hotel will be a 5 star once it is finished, it is just in the process of rebuilding at the moment. It is easily overlooked but the comfort of the room, the price and the kindness of the staff.

All rooms are exterior entrances which I don’t love but it’s kind of like apartment buildings. The rooms are dated but spacious. The staff is very friendly. Breakfast was ok, fried eggs were rubbery but there were other options like potatoes, pastry, oatmeal and cereal.

I reserved a room with a king bed and when we checked in they had no more king beds. Highly annoyed by that because then what is the point of a reservation? Other than that bump the hotel was fine. Its in a good location. Close to Trader Joe's and a Starbucks. They gave us an accessibility room which we did not need but it came with a full sized fridge and dishwasher. The hotel is on the rundown side. The dishes and cups didn't seem clean enough to use so we didn't. But the bathroom was clean. I would stay here again if I just needed a place to sleep, and no frills. Breakfast is good but the dining area is small so get there early.
