Nom smoking room smelled like smoke. The side door to the other room has clearly been broken in. The couch now blocking it has cigarette holes in it. So did my comforter. Womens hair on my floor. Their cleaning crew clearly spot cleans. Thankfully I brought a big blanket with me. I laid it down on top the comforter and wrapped myself in it. I didnt even feel comfortable walking around without socks. There was a gap behind the mattress and headboard. What I saw was disturbing. I slept with the lights on, in case it had bed bugs. This place shouldn’t even be in business. I understand they are dealing with vandalism but there is a sign stating housekeeping needs to check daily, refusal it to void your stay. I requested they do more than spot clean. The front desk lady was nice about it at least. I travel down here for business and have a set $$ amount to spend. Unfortunately I made the mistake of booking late and had to choose here. NEVER AGAIN.

For the price this definitely could have been a lot nicer. It’s a sketchy area, you literally check in outside at a window. Front desk lady was somewhat friendly at check in but when my husband went back for an extra pillow she was not. Gated parking area with code but the parking lot is still sketchy. Homeless man sitting out front when we checked out, tweakers nearby. The shower and toilet are not great, they are the original ones I’m sure from when building was built. Blow dryer didn’t work and we found a staff member and she gave us another one. Couch in the room also had stains on it. Walls super thin and you can hear the nearby busy street all night long. The floors are non carpeted which I would have liked if they were clean but you could see stuff spilled on them so I know they aren’t mopped daily. My husband walked from the shower to the bed to change and the bottom of his feet were black. Beds were comfy but pillows sucked and when checking for bed bugs, the bottom mattress (box spring type) was gross and stained. Our blanket on the bed had a cigarette burn in it and the sheets had a few stains. We were in a non smoking room and it didn’t smell like smoke but it still didn’t smell good. Like a musty smell. I can’t say that I would stay here again.

It was terrible. We were suppose to have a non smoking room and it reeked of smoke and there were burn marks on the tv stand. There were cockroaches we found in the morning when we woke up and turned the lights on. We also noticed how terrible the bed frames were with stains. Diane, the front desk worker was extremely rude. I have photos and I will be seeking a refund. The most disgusting place I have ever stayed in my life.

The room had a strong disinfectant smell. It was clean, the shower was weak. Beds comfy enough, a train goes by and is annoying. The incidental charge was more than the room price, so dumb. The staff was friendly, I would stay again in a crunch

Room looked updated. However had a not so clean smell to it. The shower head needs to be changed. It was being held on by duct tape and a shopping bag. Overall it was a good stay.

Only issue was i could hear every noise that people in a joining rooms made. Place had been remodeled nice. Staff was great. Breakfast was sufficient. Stayed for 1 week. Yes I would stay there again.

Room is clean in general, the drainage in shower area is slow. The walls are thin, we could hear people talking in next room.

I liked the style, design and cleanliness of the hotel. The only 3 things we did not care for was we had no electrical outlets in the bath room, the bed squeaked with every little movement, and the wall are thin, I could hear the full conversation of the people in the room behind us.

The remodel of the property is stunning and picturesque. I was dismayed there were security issues with my room. Specifically staff gave other guests key access to my room, causing them to walk in on me in bed. When I told lobby staff, in order to make sure it didn’t happen a third time, they explained the room was rented to another guest after I checked in. While I understand it was a simple mistake, it could have been quickly fixed with an apology and assurance it wouldn't happen again. Staff deactivated my cards after I reported the issue, which required another trip to the lobby. Again no apology, but a quick fix and no conversation to smooth the growing concern about the room. After keycards were reactivated, the staff member reached past me and handed the cards to the person standing next to me. It was a strange interaction, which that person laughed it off and handed me the cards, while I wondered all night why they did that. I spent the evening looking for another available room in the area, but ultimately decided to stack furniture in front of the door for safety. At check out, I reported to the same staff member that the exterior door doesn't latch well because of the bent door seal, the bathroom door didn't latch and the microwave door locked automatically, trapping the food inside. The staff member dismissed my concerns and asked if I pressed the door lock setting button. I traveled here to promote The Kennedy after seeing a tourism article about it. However, I

They didn’t have our room. They were over booked. The Frontdesk Manager not I can call him “manager” rude and not very polite… just said: we are over booked!!

The property was remodeled very nicely, but it was in a not great location and our neighbors were incredibly noisy and kept us up a lot of the night.

Remodel of older property. Thin walls. Heard the neighbors arguing. Property is in a declining neighborhood.

Was uncomfortable with have to check in standing outside, not in a lobby, through what was probably bullet proof glass. A little challenging to have a gate code to enter the parking lot which was behind iron gates. I selected the property as it was directly adjacent to I-10 but don't think I would return.

This was a beautifully remodeled hotel. It was quiet and peaceful and only minutes from University of Arizona. I felt safe and the staff was very friendly. I would highly recommend this place!

It was a dump with shady people staying at it. I was afraid to go from my vehicle to my room. My room was non-smoking and it reeked of smoke and there were cigarette burns in bed linens. I will never stay at this motel again.

This place is charming. The pool, music, and decor are great to hang out and enjoy the weather. I loved being able to walk my dog and found the Twisted India nearby for our vegan diet. The coffee in the morning was tasty. All that you need at an affordable rate.

Super cute place! When we checked in our room was still dirty, but the staff changed our room immediately. The area wasn’t the best but I didn’t feel unsafe either. It is nice that it was gated, but our key never worked to open it so we had to park and walk into the lobby each time we came through to get someone to open it for us. Management said it was recently damaged but being fixed. It was very close to a lot of things though which was nice.

Only issues we had were the fire alarm went off on two separate occasions (once around midnight when everyone was asleep) & they weren't prepared for the amount of people that stayed over the weekend for breakfast.

Beautiful remodeled property with friendly staff. The rooms are gorgeous and are very clean. We enjoyed our stay here and will be back each time we visit Tucson. The continental breakfast is very good with many options. Love the decor and theme, Kennedy would be proud!

hotel updates were nice, easy check in. breakfast was very limited but free. also no electrical outlets near bed or even enough in room. and not sure why but i had prepaid for the hotel and 2 days later after checkout theyre still charging my card for rooms, i have 3 different charges on my credit card from here. i was only here 1 night! beware of extra charges. no answer from hotel yet but orbitz said theyd look into it for me.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Kennedy - the retro-1960’s decor was fun! Cute pool area, very friendly staff, good breakfast, and pet friendly! We stayed there twice on our way to NM and back. Nice to now have a go-to place to stay in Tucson ☀️.
