Clean, quiet, rooms. Bed was good but not the most comfortable. The linens and towels were all sparkling clean and comfortable. The room had many outlets for charging. It was easy and free to park close to your room. The staff were helpful but you had to go into the lobby if you had any questions /issues. You need to ask for your room to be cleaned if staying multiple nights. The pool and hot tub were pleasant.

We stay here regularly when in Tucson. The walled parking area is particularly safe and quiet. Note that because the property consists of a number of individual historic buildings, there are no elevators for second-floor rooms.

Unique design! Loved the grounds and the layout. Property was very clean. Loved the pool and hot tub. Close to shopping and restaurants. I didnt try the on property restaurant though. I had a great peaceful relaxing stay. Only negative was that they didnt have a icemaker.

The hotel itself was wonderful. The one glaring disappointment was the hot tub. There is so much chlorine in it that we couldn't use it, which was so awful. Half of the reason for chasing this hotel was for the hot tub. This might just be a deal breaker for us.

The room was ok, elderly father nearly fell in the very slippery bathtub shower. no grippers on the floor. long black hairs on the ceiling above the shower and in the shower, kinda gross, doesn't make me feel like it was thoroughly cleaned between guests. other than that the facilities are outstanding, the resturaunt was amazing and parking is secure and safe.

Second time I stayed here in the spa king. The room has a huge jetted tube nice for soaking and a fireplace. Overall I like the room but this second time they didn't clean the tub very good and they had built up dust in a corner around the tub. There was mold in the tile grout in the shower. The bed and the rest of the room was clean. I would probably stay here again I'm hoping it was a one time thing. I did let the staff know when checking out.

Booked a jacuzzi tub room. Got into the tub after dinner and realized the tub was dirty with a scum ring above the jets. Tried to ignore it and turned on jets. Then something brown started floating on water. Quickly jumped out and showered off the ick. Was too tired to deal with it that night so I let front desk know when I checked out.

We loved the authenticity of the hotel. Not your typical box hotel with ultra-modern looks. The pool facilities were great. We did walk in the mornings to get coffee and breakfast, but it's a good half-mile if you dont want hotel coffee. We did not try the restaurant on property, but they do offer a bfast buffet. Our room floor was dirty. Not sure if thats a cleanliness issue or product of living in a desert. But our feet and/or socks were very dirty after walking around in the room. Fun place and would stay there next time we return to Tucson.

This was my second stay and I think it’s a lovely option. The pool is big and clean, the grounds are beautiful. I like how it feels private and secluded, but its location is central to the University and other Tucson attractions. I also appreciate the friendliness of the staff. While I haven’t eaten at the restaurant (yet) I know it gets good reviews.

Location was great. Room itself was not impressive. There was a huge rip in the carpet. The gas fireplace was so dirty you couldn’t see through it. Room thermostat worked well. Quiet. Comfortable pillows and bed sheets. Nothing to call home about but did the job.

The room was old school with barely any USB ports and an old carpet. The light switches were hard to find and when on, the light was very low like in a cave. The only view was of another room really close by. It felt oppressive. Not what you would expect for a vacation. The positive was the bathroom which was well lit and spacious. The bathtub was ancient though. Hopefully there are better rooms. Accommodating staff.

The young lady working at reception wasn’t friendly. She was not welcoming, and had a condescending attitude towards me. The grounds are mostly beautiful and well kept. The restaurant was a bit understaffed. There was one person working the bar, a few tables and making drinks and one young woman as hostess, waiting and serving tables in the main dining room. She was very friendly and the food was good. The room was tidy, but there were several broken tiles. I called the office to let them know. There was much room left for decor improvements. The beds are bit uncomfortable, and I think the a/c wasn’t working properly. I woke up a few times during the night feeling too hot. I tried setting the thermostat as low as I could, and it’d cool down a bit, but I’d wake up to a warm room. This happened about 4 times.

There’s No elevators and it was raining the tile on stairs is so slippery and dangerous so don’t bring a lot of stuff! There was earwigs in room, the floor poorly /not vacuumed , the toilet made a terrible high pitch whistle noise , there is no staff after 11, no USB ports , one wall outlet behind the bed that didn’t allow my phone to reach the nightstand so I put it in the bathroom to charge. It wouldn’t charge in there either therefore I requested a 630am wake up call verbally to the front desk and I woke up at 7:30am because they failed at my request. At Breakfast my coffee was burnt and my parfait was warm, extremely over priced !

Amazing staff, very responsive. Accidentally left my charger in the room after checking out and the manager (Scott) figured out a way to return it to me so I didn't have to go out of my way and come back. Great property, clean rooms, friendly staff, reasonable price. Will be back!

The Lodge was overall okay. I arrived a bit early 3pm and check-in wasn't until 4pm & they didn't have the room ready. Was told that it would be ready at 4. I came back at 4pm and room still wasn't ready. Staff was friendly & said that they had a similar room they could put in me. The room wasn't anything like I had reserved & paid for. Although the room was nice it wasn't what I had paid for. Also, I could not take a shower as there wasn't any hot water. I doubt I would stay here again.

My king size room was very nice and spacious, with a jetted tub, shower, small refrig, comfortable bed and nice linens. Employees were all very friendly. The surrounding area is not great for walking or nearby amenities. There was no offer of help with luggage when I arrived; I had to ask for someone to carry my bag up the steep stairs to my room. The front desk seems never to answer the phone, nor do they respond to messages left. When I checked out I was unable to get help with my luggage again. The lock on my door was faulty, making it a huge effort to open the door. They said they would send maintenance to repair but they didn’t. For such a nice hotel in other ways, it’s a shame they don’t offer help with your luggage on check-in.

We have stayed at this hotel before and were pleased with it. This time ,however, was different. The management has changed and they no longer offer a free breakfast although i could have sworn that they had free breakfast listed when i booked it on Expedia. Could have been my error. At any rate ....no free breakfast anymore. When we entered our room we couldn't open the patio door to the balcony...the lock wasn't working. Then we found a ring of dirt in the toilet. Tried calling the front desk on the room phone to get a new room but no answer. Tried again on our cell phone ....still no answer. So no breakfast , less than stellar room and no service. Used to love this place but wont stay here anymore.

This property is a great value for the price. Just around the corner is a Portillo’s, In-N-Out, and a mall. Convenient location for driving to hikes in Saguaro National Park East & West, and Sabino Canyon. Short distance to downtown and lots of good dining.

Our overnight stay was not long enough. The bar and restaurant had excellent service, the menu and quality of food was amazing for both dinner and breakfast. The hotel grounds were very well maintained. Every employee we encountered was friendly. We will definitely be back to this resort.

Really enjoyed the stay here service was great, pool and hot tub were nice with poolside service from the on site restaurant which was also delicious. The cold water smelled a little funky but running the hot water first made it alright. Free fruit in the lobby! Cute fireplace in my room. I would absolutely stay here again located on a main road for easy travel if you have access to a car.

I have stayed at this property every year, and have enjoyed my stay, but there is no longer complimentary breakfast. It's not worth the money they now charge for food, and when Expedia says you get $21 in food and beverage credit, this is wrong. You receive chips and salsa and a drink. The pool and hot tub are warm and great. This is a good value and great place to stay in Tucson, but the lack of amenities once provided is disappointing.

Everything was nice except the VIP amenity, on Expedia it tells you you have a 21$ food credit but at the hotel it’s only chips and dip with a drink but you have to spend 15$ so we had breakfast there and spend 23$ on breakfast but still didn’t receive the chips and dip or even a credit when dining. That needs to be more detailed in the desceiption. So we didn’t even use the two vouchers we had during the stay
