Horrible. Will not stay at this hotel again. No elevator, which they dont inform ahead of time. Dirty floor in bathroom, along with hair in sink and on toilet. Soap dispensers on counter filthy. Room not dusted. Was given 1 towel for reservation of 3, had to request more. Horrible AC which is 6 inches from bed, and does not cool room. Bait & Switch room- room did not look like pics online, our sheets had stains, comforters didnt even match. The furniture worn and smelled in room. You MUST make sure your door is latched or it comes open on its own. False advertisement on all platforms-they do not have a pool. The times we asked staff questions they seemed to have an "oh well" attitude. Their breakfast was nothing special. They also charge a $10 per night "service" fee, of which they dont inform you of, and who knows what that actually covers. Will not go back, nor recommend.

The staff was wonderful. My room was great. There is no elevator for the second floor, no laundry facilities, no pool. But it was a great hotel. I felt very safe and the hotel had everything I really needed for my week's stay.

The property was ok for a place to sleep when heading up to Ski. Bathroom was cramped and the doors need closures. The main doors need automatic sliding doors for easy access with baggage. No laundry facility

We stay at this property on most of our trips up the 395. It is quiet and convenient. I would love to have better coffee and breakfast in the mornings. However, there are dining places nearby. Also, love that it is pet friendly.

The room was huge, all amenities were great. The room was clean, the breakfast was adequate. No complaints here. The only oddity is a $10 fee per room in addition to a $140 charge to dtvenabler. Not sure if that had somethimg to do with our watching the tv. We had to cancel our credit card because of it. So be aware. Otherwise it was a good stay, very comfy bed No elevator.

Hotel front desk attendance does not greet you. We ended up paying about $200/night for a Hotel that does not have elevator or pool. We booked a suite, but it is not a suite, it is more like a studio with no kitchenette. Can’t watch TV in bed because the TV is faced away from bed. Small bathroom and tub. Only 1 person fit in the bathroom. Found ants in our 2nd floor room. They were all over the hotel desk. We tossed away $50 worth of the food we bought from Erik. We got sick and can’t stay in a hotel room being all sick. I called Expedia and they called front desk to let hotel know we will stay for 2 nights instead of 3. The next morning, front desk said they didn’t get any such message. I called Expedia again so they can sort it out. We were still sick and had to checkout on for 2 days instead of 3. The hotel took out our discount and put in additional $100 for penalty, charged us $59.64 Occupancy Tax and $20 Hotel service fee. We stayed at Cielo twice, but Never Again.

1) Wish the shower water pressure was better than what it was. 2) The hotel amenity listed hot springs, but there is actually no such thing or neither of jacuzzi. 3) Breakfast option was similar to the motel breakfast, could be improved 4) It would’ve be much nicer if the gym facility has lower temperature setting. It was too warm while I was working out

Never again!!! Roaches in the bed. You’re literally better off sleeping in your car! I attached a photo of the roach on my pillow. I was given a 30% refund and placed in a new room which had hair in the sheets and a bug in the wall…what a joke! This clean freak will never stay at this property again!

Property is falling apart, old and stinky. Room smelled like pee and we had to ask for a change. There was a condenser or generator right outside the window that kicked on and off all night. Staff was neutral. Breakfast area was clean and well maintained.

The rooms were remodeled, but you can tell that it was in terrible condition. I did not like the bedsheets because they look very faded and worn out. I felt like it wasn’t clean enough because there was a smell to the room. The AC was sold out that we couldn’t sleep and we had to wake up and adjusted several times. The bathroom was so tight my husband And I can only go one at a time. The breakfast was meh. Overall, it was so overpriced and I feel like I was scammed because the pictures look so nice but the condition of the place was terrible. It looks remodeled, but you can tell by the details that it was done poorly. And I cannot stand the bedsheets because there was definitely blood stains on the bed covers Underneath the bedsheets.

Had resvations for two different nights in a four day time frame. Both rooms were very small. The bathroom in the first room was super small. My mattress wanted to slide off the fram whenever I sat down. Furniture was beat up and broken. Sat in the desk chair and about went over. Had to manually turn the tv on and off, along with manually controlling the volume. I felt like a kid again back in the 70's! The a/c blows right on the bed next to it. I froze while my Pops was hot. For the price and the condition of both rooms, will stay elsewhere next trip.

It is on the main street, close to dining places and the supercharger. The room was sparkly clean, the mattresses were the best we had ever slept on, the towels were fluffy, and the soap was high-quality. Cons: no elevator, small room, the refrigerator door is opened to the left while the cabinet door is opened to the right, and the WIFI was really bad, so we could not use it and had to turn on the data plan. The shower handle is hard to use.

The property is basic. The breakfast consists of cereal. The biggest issue we had was a loud 100 decibal machine noise in our room the entire time we were there. The staff did nothing about it, couldn't/wouldn't get us to a new room nor offered any type of compensation. Do not stay in the room 216 or 116. We ended up leaving in the middle of the night just to get out of there.

The Cielo could be a lovely hotel. If they only focussed a bit more on service and details. The worst thing about my stay was that there was no Internet service (I had a grant due). I was not informed in advance and when I inquired I was told to give it a wait. Later, when I spoke to the front desk staff again they admitted that Id have to wait a long time (ie. at least until the next day, too late for the grant!). Finally, a manager let me use the Office Internet which was, mysteriously, working. She later gave me a nice discount for the whole inconvenience. A couple other things to note: There was only decaf coffee in the room, the paint on the bathroom doorframe was chipped and crumbling, the lighting in the main entrance reminds one of the light in an all-night laundromat. All of these things are easily fixed and, if improved, would have given the place a much nicer vibe. On the plus side, the beds were comfortable and the sheets felt luxurious, there were lovely photos of the nearby mountains in the room and lobby, and the breakfast wasn't bad (for an American hotel).

I was very disappointed both with Expedia and the hotel itself. (Through Expedia)I asked for a first floor unit because of elderly people. I didnt want to leave things to chance so i called 4 hours before I arrived there to Cielo directly, the lobby number after first calling two other numbers, one which is AI and the other with is automated. Both were dead ends. I was finally able to speak to a person who assured me i had a first floor room and then promptly asked me to stay in the line to receive bonus "points". It was an aggressive sales lady who wouldn't take no for answer. Upon arrival, the girl at the desk assigned me a upper room. I explained the situation and she then began to try to convince me i didnt speak to anyone about this. I showed her the number and the 5 minute phone call. She then began stone walling me saying there was nothing she could do. I told her if i didnt have an upstairs room i would have to drive back 4 hours to get home. There was one room available and the person had not checked in but since they had booked through the hotel directly they were holding it (so much for the first come first serve comment) she did attempt to contact them to no avail twice. And she did also get me on the phone with the property owner who apologized and offered a refund but would not authorize her to give me the downstairs room. she said i was probably forwarded to a call center earlier but was unable to help me. Fail on all sides.

No sound proofing could hear toilet and shower from the room above. I had the do not disturb sign on my door and housekeeping still came into room to clean. When checking out three employees sitting in the breakfast area but no one came to help.

Hotel is fine with decent beds and rooms. We needed to be out the door at 7am and the breakfast starts at 0630. Unfortunately the staff were late and didn't have breakfast available before we finally left at 0650. There we about a dozen guests waiting and still no breakfast.

The woman working the front desk was polite and helpful, but never said anything like "thank you" for staying there,or for choosing Cielo. I still expect businesses to thank customers for their patronage. The price of the hotel is high for what you get. Yes, the room was clean, but the A/C was a very old unit, the TV remote didn't work well, and the room and bathroom were very small for the two of us. While I didn't choose the hotel for the free breakfast, the free breakfast was meager. A container of cereal, a few budget bread items, a few bananas, and a batch of peeled hard-boiled eggs looked like it came from 7-11. We went to breakfast at Schat's, which was just a few doors down, so not the worst experience. At least the hotel is near several of Bishop's fine dining establishments.

Not only does this hotel have the worst breakfast ever, but to add insult to injury, they charge you at $10 resort fee there for what? This hotel is nothing special and is not worth the extra money to stay at this ascend property. The hallways are pretty worn as is the carpet, the only thing good I can say is that the bed was comfortable. Don’t waste your money.

Disliked how tiny the bathroom was. You couldn't move around without hitting the toilet. The vent was also too loud we tried not to use it. Kept the light off. Disappointed that they don't serve warm breakfast. Cold breakfast with old bread bagel and danish and biscuits hard. We will not be back. Fancy hotel not worth staying. Too expensive.
