Great place with fantastic amenities. Pool hot tub great outdoor sitting areas.

The room was more like an apartment than a hotel room. It was amazing. The bed was comfy, there was a full kitchen stocked with pots and pans, dishes and cutlery. We were shocked at how amazing our room was. We used the sauna that was in the fitness room, the pool.and the hot tub and they were all super clean and nice. We will definitely stay here every time we go to the city!

Nice one bedroom suite, but the freeway-facing bedrooms should be fitted with triple-paned windows for reduced freeway noise. Noise and cold air also came from the bottom of the door. The heating in the bedroom was excellent, but the heater in the living-dining area kept blowing out cold air. The taps did not provide hot water, and the one in the kitchen never got hot or even very warm The kitchen faucet also leaked. I was also disappointed that the pool was closed for maintenance. It would be nice if the gym was brighter and lighter. As such, it feels cramped and dark, like a basement gym in someone’s home. Now the good. The one bedroom suite was spacious. The. Cooking facilities were good. The king size bed was comfortable. The TV had a good range of stations. The free parking is a huge plus. The location is fabulously convenient, close to shopping and nice walking paths and the ferry to San Francisco. We were lucky to have a lovely Mt. Tam view from the living-dining room. Hotel staff are nice and helpful. We would stay here again.

I had a bit of trepidation when we parked at the motel. It’s clearly an older building, but it also looked like they’d done some upkeep. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked to the lobby and looked at the courtyard. The pool area is gorgeous! Crystal clear water in a nice sized pool, plus a large separate jacuzzi. Lounge chairs with fresh towels rolled up on each one surround both sides of the pool, plus several tables with umbrellas and chairs. There’s lots of foliage, which makes the area both inviting and provides shaded areas. Check in was a breeze. The staff was professional, friendly and efficient. I was a bit confused about the numbering of the rooms, but was given a map of the property. The elevator is weird and very small. But we quickly got the hang of it. The room itself was adorable. I couldn’t believe how spacious it was! The room was immaculate. Even the baseboards were sparkling clean. There were plenty of towels and extra bedding provided. The beds were firm but comfortable. Plenty of closet space. The bathroom was roomy. The plugs are all two prong, so the extension cords that I always travel with were useless. Not a huge deal, just unexpected. The only thing that I think could be improved is that I couldn’t login to any streaming services on the TVs. But that was the only thing that was a drawback for me. I have now stayed there about 6 times, and I’ve had a pleasant experience every time.

This property would be good for an extended stay for families since there is a grill on site as well a fridge, sink, and tables in some rooms. The only issue we had was that the hot tub was more warm and didn't work well and our shower was a little weird. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

My sixth time staying at Marin Suites. I come for the annual Book Passage Travel Writer's and Photographers Conference. I love the convenience of it being next door to the conference. I also like the kitchen, refrigerator and microwave in the room. I take advantage of the pool and jacuzzi too.

The inside of the hotel was wondedful. A garden oasis with two separate areas, on for the pool and one for a garden/games and BBQ. Very family friendly with kind staff.

The property is beautifully maintained with lush gardens, pool and hot tub are clean as well as the room we stayed in. The hotel no longer offers a breakfast but we stayed in a suite with all the amenities in a kitchen. They only allow 1 parking pass to a room which forces the other car onto the public street which isn't safe. There is a sketchy empty lot next door but out cars were not bothered. A peaceful outdoor sanctuary is located in the center of the hotel which is nice. I highly recommend this property and will return myself in a few months. The price was in the middle when compared with other hotels in Marin. The only negative was our bedroom was backed up to the freeway and we could hear the traffic at night.

Spotless pool and spa area. Excellent location for access. Extra large rooms with kitchen, bedroom and eating living area. Nice and polite staff. Only drawback: hot water was very slow getting to the room and then only tepid/warm.

Just okay. Good price for the area but not sure if I would stay again. Outside looks better than inside. bathroom was pretty terrible. Water filled up pretty quickly in tub when trying to shower and took a while to drain, sink cabinet wobbly, dirty soap dispenser, inconsistent water pressure and temperature. Meh

It was my first time staying at Marin suites, and I overall enjoyed my stay for the price. The young man at the Front Desk was very helpful and fulfilled my request for a top corner room. Unfortunately, my room was not that clean, the sheets were stained, and the bathroom curtain was yellowish in color when it’s supposed to be white. The bathtub was also stained and there were a few long, dark brown hairs stuck to the tub and curtain (my hair is blonde). I got kind of grossed out by all that. Room is outdated, bed and pillows were very comfortable. I loved the plastic free water bottles. Cheap coffee & powder creamer in room. Bathroom amenities were decent. Loud motor when turning bathroom light on (room 535) and one window didn’t close properly so lots of street noise from cars although hotel seems quiet. Thank you

Clean and spacious room

Room smelled musty. Main door flip lock screws were coming apart. Suite with two rooms, but one room door would not close properly. Bathroom shower was dirty. Black mold around the shower drain and it was extremely slow draining. Bathroom shower wall grout was growing pink bacteria.

Great check in experience! Spacious and clean room.

My stay was only for one night as I had reservations the next day for 4 nights in SF. I stayed here to explore the area a bit and to have a shorter drive the next day. I was pleasantly surprised by how clean, quiet and spacious the room was. There’s also a pool, a nice covered sitting area and a cute separate courtyard. It’s also on a quiet street. Next time I’m in this area, I would stay here again.

I enjoyed this place and the area! The pool area was especially beautiful. The bathrooms in the rooms could use a little updating. My biggest con was how thin the ceilings/floors must be. The room above us had people stomping around until midnight and started up again at 5am. Could not get a good sleep. I would come back here but only if I'm on the top floor lol.

Easy check-in. Older property that has been well modernized. Sound from other rooms (walking, talking on phone, moving items around) easily heard through walls/ceiling, so that wasn’t great. Heating/cooling unit very loud and similarly not a positive part of stay. Very large, well-appointed room. Kitchen set up nice for a longer stay. The bed was not terrible, but mattress is older and should be replaced. Price is very competitive. Pool and sauna look nice but no opportunity to use them this trip.

Front desk staff was incredibly kind. The suite we booked had so much space, it was perfect. The room was clean. A tad outdated with some items, like scuffs on the dresser for example. Only big problem was the electricity would go out in the restroom when I was curling my hair, and another wall was not charging as well. The fridge needed to be cleaned a tad more in a few corners as well. Besides that, it was clean, spacious, and the kitchen area even had dish soap, dishes, utensils, which was great! Oh- there was a slight smell when we arrived but it wasn’t a bother. The general area was in a good area and we felt safe. No issues parking on a busy night. Stayed two nights and we would absolutely stay again!

The studio room was spacious and comfortable. The refrigerator was larger than normal than seen in most hotel rooms which was a plus. It was close to a small shopping mall and highway access. A couple of things we noticed. Not all of the electrical outlets had 3 prongs. Our room was in building closest to highway 101, so we could hear traffic all night.

The stay was fine overall. The hotel is a bit outdated. I didn’t like that trash dumpsters nearby were picked up two days in a row at 6 am, waking me up. There were zero outlets next to the bed which was inconvenient, and no clock/alarm clock. The pool and jacuzzi were nice. The gym smelled weird.

We loved how huge our suite was, it had all we needed and was very spacious! The only issue we had was that with such a big suite and big bedroom, the bed was very small!

The room was clean and spacious. Bed was very comfy. It seemed to be old and dated but was totally fine. Is stay again.

Staff was super helpful and followed through on questions and accessible help for my 96 year old mother. Rooms are very large

Have stayed here many times over the years. Always excellent customer service, nice spacious rooms, convenient location.

Staff was rude and when I extended my room they forced me to move into a room with a worse room and a sink that is clogged . Don’t extend stay here expecting to get same room!

Only thing I did not like was maids kept ringing doorbell when I was sleeping to clean the room really pissed me off

this has been such a pleasant surprise. I stayed here after selling my home in Marin. For 3 weeks . The front desk staff are superb. They are personable try to help each guest as best as they can. I give this place 10 stars !!!! From front dest to chamber maids to maintenance . Thank you all so very Much My Kindest Regards and Gratitude Sally Catalana

VERY WARM WELCOME AND CHECK IN BY JUAN AND EVELYN AT FRONT DESK. THEY HELPED ME GET THE EXACT ROOM I WANTED. VERY CORDIAL AND PROFESSIONAL STAFF ALL AROUND. I WILL DEFINITELY BE STAYING THERE AGAIN!!!

Hotel location is convenient to freeway and shopping. Lobby is VERY small and low key. Lobby staff was one of the worst we've met. Franco was unprofessional, uninformative, and hardly explained anything. He did tell us that there is no hot water. He could not tell us if anything was being done to fix the problem, nor any expected time it may be fixed. No solution nor apologies either. We ended no hot water for the night until next morning. Very frustrated. Room was very spacious. But A/C unit was noisy, especially when it turns on/off during the middle of the night. Room door and windows are facing the corridor where many ppl walking by. We did not feel there's privacy when sitting in the living/kitchen area unless the window blinds are totally closed.

The receptionist at night when I stayed there on Monday 9/30 was rude and inappropriate.

I was pleasantly surprised by how nice our stay was. The staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. The room was huge and really clean! It was easy to get to and parking was convenient. We had a problem opening the safe in the room at 10 pm, and within 5 minutes someone came up and opened it for us. What service! I will stay there for all of my Bay Area trips in the future.

The room was quite large and had all the amenities we needed for our stay. The room was a bit dated with older furniture and carpet. The bed was comfortable. The only issue we had was housekeeping trying to enter the room in the morning without announcing themselves or knocking. That was very disconcerting. Otherwise, a nice hotel to stay for a night.

Located in a nice and safe area with short drive/walk to shopping center and restaurants. Road noise is loud if windows are open. A bit older property, but rooms are clean and plenty of parking.

We were just overnighting on a trip north. It was convenient, affordable and comfortable. We were in the back which borders on Hwy 101 so there was a bit of traffic noise, but not enough to bother our sleep.

The outside (parking lot) of Marin Suites is drab and a bit unkempt; but inside the compound is a delightful manicured landscape with trees, flowers, places to relax, places for children to play and a very nice swimming pool. Our room was clean and had plenty of room and well-appointed. I do recommend Marin Suites very heartily. There is a shopping center with restaurants and a large grocery store just up the street.

Wanted to avoid staying in San Francisco. The space of the room was excellent and the location for ferry, the drive to Stinson beach, access to city were all fantastic.

Get spacious room and really affordable. Close to the ferry so trips to the city were easy. I will stay here again.

Perfect location near highways and essentials (grocery store, shopping, restaurants) — plus free parking! Comfortable bed and spacious rooms surrounding a central pool, deck and courtyard. The pool understandably brings more noise, and the walls/floors are thin, so be prepared to hear fellow guests (but didn't hear the street/highway noise at all).

The only thing lacking was shopping and restaurants/bars within walking distance. Complimentary breakfasy would be nice at the hotel as well as a mini bar or small store offering liquor.

We stayed here because we were spending the day in San Francisco and were taking the ferry in for the day. The hotel was close to shopping and the ferry terminal. Pool was great and parking was free

My second stay in this hotel, first time just before the pandemic and now after it. The only change I noticed that there’s no breakfast anymore but I don’t like the usual hotel breakfast in the US anyway. So no complaints here. Much more important to me is daily room cleaning which they still provide. It seems to me that not many American hotels still offer that. Overall I had a very nice time in Corte Madera.

The hotel is close where I have to go and it is near shops and restaurants.

It was easy to book and stay at Marin Suites, even on Thanksgiving, and we appreciated it. Loved the spacious apartment, and the heating/AC and TV worked well. Would have loved liquid milk or creamer for our coffee, or a complimentary splash.
