It's in a great location at a great price. The staff were fine. The room was well laid out, and the sheets and towels were clean. However, the floor was not vacuumed, there was a large cardboard box that would appear to have contained a light fixture I assume was recently installed that I had to move out of the room because it took up a significant amount of space. The water out of the tub was initially brown. The tub had a slow drain during a shower. Finally, the hot tub had leaves, and the temperature of the hot tub was only luke warm.

I like the spa (hot tub) is fenced so it's pretty private and the breakfast is good. I don't like the beds, it is too small for Queen size and the mattress is very bad for the price.

Comfortable one night stay. We arrived Davis around midnight Sunday on Amtrak. The BW was less than a 15-minute walk from the station. The front desk clerk was awaiting our arrival and promptly checked us in. The bed was comfortable. The included breakfast had a nice selection and the coffee was excellent. The property was very well maintained with beautiful landscaping. The rate was very competitive and included free parking.

Room was very large, location was perfect when visiting my son at UC Davis and we were walking distance to everything in Downtown Davis. Nothing fancy but ideal for weekend visits! Very happy and will definitely stay again. Has plenty of parking too.

I asked my 8 year old to get one of her crocs from under the bed and she pulled out a ViBRATOR… I told the cleaning lady and showed the pic to the front desk. I advised them to talk to their staff about inspecting the entire room. It was so gross. I am upset and disgusted.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, jut the room was very noisy. The AC sounded like a jet engine in your room and the windows were so thin that when I turned off my own AC I was enjoying the noise of all other ACs in the rooms around me.

Great location for downtown Davis and campus. Room is small and cramped with a lot of large furniture. We had a bad location, in a breezeway next to the housekeeping space so had to keep our curtains closed.

I had a cockroach in my bathroom. The shower head was broken: spraying water all over the bathroom from the section where the pipe meets the head. I didn't bother trying to get this fixed, so just took a wipe down bath. Not too quiet because its right on a busy street. One good thing was my bed was very firm and the room was very large (second floor king room).

Luis the young man at the front desk was very nice and friendly & professional. The breakfast was good and the coffee fresh and hot. We stay here almost every time we come to Davis to visit our daughter who is a student.

It was perfect for a couple nights stay for a business trip. Walking distance to UC Davis. More cost effective than the Hyatt. Next to a lot of food/drinks. Might be a little loud for some people, but I am used to living in downtown Minneapolis, so it was quiet for me.

We visited UC Davis and stayed at Best Western. Staff were welcoming. The property is nicely kept and the rooms are maintained. They serve breakfast and it has a variety of hot and cold foods; they cater to everyone. We were very pleased with our hotel choice and will surely stay there again.

Love the location. The room was clean for the most part bathroom needed a little bit more attention in corners. The breakfast was a disappointment for best western. They ran out of waffle mix at 9:15 in the morning and attendant said they ran out and won’t re-fill. Eggs, sausage and bacon were out by 9:40 AM. The milk we use was spoiled even with the date. The attendant did not even care and just threw it away and said sorry for the most part we love western, but the breakfast at that time was a disappointing. However we had friendly welcoming customer service from the front staff person.

This hotel is nice and clean and the staff is friendly. The breakfast seemed much worse than other Best Westerns, especially the coffee. It was water with a little brown coloring. There was not enough fresh fruit. The air conditioner in our room was extremely loud. I would have preferred to have the windows open, but they were directly on the parking lot and it was very hot outside.
