Travelodge by Wyndham LAX

Expedia said free parking when I reserved the room. It was not. Had to upload a qr code and it seems to be a half legitimate app. Upon scanning the code, a green bar pops up and reads get started . If you fill it out it charges your credit card $1.25 and y credit card compaines denied the charge. Possible phishing. Please check it out. And I want my $20 back.

I had a brief overnight layover in LA and wanted to sleep in a bed rather than an airport bench. The room was safe, clean and comfortable. I was only disappointed that I needed to return to the airport at 4 am and the shuttle does not start until 5 am. I had chosen the property in part because it offered free airport transportation.

I stayed in the main building, which was perfect for security. Also there is a 24-hour free coffee/tea machine and microwave in the open basic seating area with small tables and long laptop stations with outlets and nice light in case you have some hours to wait for your flight. The room was very clean, especially the bathroom. Friendly, efficient staff. Major factor to be aware of: try to avoid having the desk keep your bags for you. You have to pay an online provider to be responsible for your bags. I left 2 carryon size bags, classified as 2 small, and the cost was over $16. Never had to pay to leave bags for a few hours anywhere else. Otherwise all positive, beyond expectations.

It is clean at a reasonable price compared with other places around LAX to rest. However, it does not tell you up front about the additional $20 per day of parking.

While I was there nobody checked on my room. There was a fight outside and then another night someone yelling and spitting on people. They have snacks but they’re super expensive. Pool was closed. Room was dirty, water pressure in the shower wasn’t good. And they offer late check out for more money I needed a late checkout but not available but they didn’t tell me that till after 11:00. Overall positive about it is close to airport, air conditioning, bed was alright except there was a stain on the sheet. Blacked out windows were nice and cable tv. Fridge and microwave in room was nice too. Won’t be coming back though

This hotel was what you’d expect for a travel lodge. Nothing fancy but it has everything you need. Soap, shampoo, mini fridge, tv, ok bed. I only needed a place for the night and was flying out of LAX the next morning. Since this hotel is only about 1.5 miles away it worked perfectly. And the hotel offers a free shuttle to the airport, leaving at the top of the hour, every hour, starting at 5am. That alone is worth it because the Uber I took from the airport to the hotel was $40 (once I added a tip).

Close to the airport and a free shuttle. But expect to wait over an hour for them to get there.

I like that the property was close to the airport. The shuttle is often overbooked, forcing me to get an Uber.

A good day hotel to relax after and before your flight. No, elevator so, pack light in case you get the upper floor. I have a shoulder issue and had to carry all my bags up one floor with no assistance.

Area was decent but rooms were gross and pool was not cleaned or seemed to be treated.

The hotel is extremely close to LAX airport. I may be a little harsh on my ratings but I could not get past the entire room smelling like urine. Everything looked clean but I could not figure out how and why it smelled so bad.

Towels were not clean, no room service during entire duration of stay, shuttle times to airport inconvenient.

The room was spacious and appeared clean. However, after two nights I had 4 bed bug bites from being under the blanket. The ground floor room was also next to a dumpster so the noise in the early morning was unbearable. There is no tea only coffee for guests, too.

Very clean, renovated, super friendly staff, little noisy with the nearby airport, but overall great.

I’ve been coming here for 10 plus years. They don’t have roaches. Rooms are clean. What they do have is mosquitoes and pincher bugs in their rooms. And small flying bugs. I believe when they clean the rooms they leave the door open. Bugs fly in. I’ve brought this issue up directly and my complaint wasn’t taken seriously. Management should consider giving the cleaning crew insect spray. Before they leave the room after cleaning they should spray. It’s a small issue but this should be addressed. Please consider

We waited over an hour for the shuttle. The communication was terrible. We were told our ride would be there in 15-30. When I asked what vehicle we were looking for, I was told it would say Hilton on it but don’t worry because the driver would call my number when he arrived. 30 minutes later I got a call saying it would be another 15 due to traffic. 20 minutes later I called and was told he came and picked up someone else claiming to be me - I didn’t get a call. He finally showed up in a big gray shuttle - Hilton wasn’t on it at all and I I still didn’t get a call. Then we got to a very dumpy looking hotel. We have a flight tomorrow later in the afternoon so I was hoping to get a little later check out time - every hotel I’ve ever stayed at gives an hour or at the very least will hold your luggage for you. This one day they cal do 30 minutes late and then the charges start at $25 for one extra hour and goes up from there. So I then asked if they could at least hold our luggage and they will for a fee. The room does look like the pics and looks clean - however it’s clear that someone has been smoking in here - even though it’s a non smoking room. I don’t usually write reviews but this place is terrible and I don’t want others making the same mistake.

Odd smell, dusty, dirty floors that made my socks black. Bed and shower were fine. Noise from 7am.

This was my 3rd stay at Travelodge By Wyndham LAX and it’s a real gem. Free shuttle to and from the airport, super friendly staff and scrupulously clean and quiet. Friendly and professional staff and I will definitely be back again. Thanks Travelodge by Wyndham LAX !!

Clean room, comfy bed, interior hallway room, not much airport noise.

The stay was good. We had a nice stay, however the neighbors kept slamming their door. It was loud by 9pm it had settled and we got a good night sleep. The room was large so that was nice!

Rooms are not created equal. My AC unit was very noisy. Stayed in a room facing PCH and traffic was noisy. The doors are sticky and can hear other guests opening and closing doors. I have also stayed in the building across the street same hotel and it was also very noisy.

Was better looking than images I saw. Looks like they painted it. The room was very good. Bed was extremely comfortable. Towels were perfect.

Great place to stay next to LAX. Newly remodeled and clean. Easy access. Downstairs rooms loud in morning with upstairs guest walking around and getting ready. Would stay again, it was easy cause we flew out next day from LAX.

Window blind material is mesh and it's see-through. No curtains. Checked from outdide with room lights on. I could see inside the room. It was very uncomfortable to stay there. I got there late night, so I decided turn off all the lights and go to sleep. I needed to use my phone under thr blanket. I'll never stay this place again.

Found the property clean and would recommend turning the outside lights down at night. Very bright into room.

Once I got to the property, I was checked in quickly and was given a lovely room with a microwave and a refrigerator and everything was clean and everything worked. It’s simply an overnight stay, but it was extremely pleasant.

Everything was good. Only complaint was my AC was not working properly room 318

Got upgraded to business, spacious room with window. One con was I could hear next door snoring…

It was after 9pm, I was in bed and dozing off to sleep and was woken up by a strange man entering my room - as it turns out - with a key he had been given by the front desk!!! Even with the extra door stop, the door still opens a good 3-4 inches, enough to see into the room. It was an extremely distressing situation. I called down to the front desk who said I wasn’t in their system as being in my current room and asked me to spell my name. Weird because this is the only room I had been in & clearly had a room key labeled for the room I was in. My nervous system was shot & it took me hours to be able to fall asleep before having to wake up at 4am to get ready for an early morning flight. When checking out and asking for the managers contact info & the name of who checked me in and obviously messed something up, so I could relay the issue, discovered that…the manager was in fact the person who checked me in incorrectly. No one seemed to care how scary the situation was as a woman traveling alone and just said “yeah…sorry about that”.

The Travelodge “team” was exceptional. The communication, support, efficient service from Alex at customer support, to the shuttle drivers, and check in with Tayvon, clean room by housekeeping made my arrival and departure at LAX a breeze. Great teamwork every one!

Shuttle was great. Easy to find. Clean Staff upon entering. NOT so great. I requested early check in and tried to pay the $25 Upon getting there I was told they didn’t have enough staff and didn’t have clean rooms and I’d need to wait or come back. I decided to wait in the side lobby to which I was surprised there were 10 other people also waiting for rooms. So patiently I waited til 3 And 10 min before 3… a big shuttle bus of another 15-20 people came in and they proceeded to check them in beforeeee all the people who had been waiting for hours for check in. I was livid and so were the other people who waited. I also did the “pre check in” where you take your id and pre register and all that jazz. I asked them if I would be notified when my room was ready since I pre checked and was waiting. And they told me I’d need to get to the back of the line (after waiting 2 hours for a room) and just be patient. Their check in process was horrendous. Thankfully the rooms were nice. But I’m not sure I’d ever stay there again based on their check in process alone. The girl who I initially saw literally hid bc I was extremely vocal (not rude) but vocal about making guests who had been waiting hours check in afterrr the people who just arrived. They need a better process and they need to just get rid of the whole pre check in process if they aren’t gonna honor that. They also should update the $100 deposit. I figured there would be a deposit but it’s not on any of the sites

Wake up call was not received. Not acceptable. Hotel to airport shuttle was very late - Had to take an Uber to avoid missing flight.

Staff was friendly and helpful

The staff appeared to be not knowing what he's doing. For each guest, it took more than 20 minutes for him to complete the process. Would not recommend this place.

Requested an early check in. Was given a certain time. Went at that time and again given another time 2 hours later.

Neighbor was extremely loud. LOUD MUSIC for 6 hours straight, then loud Sex acts next door. We were here 7 hours to sleep before our next overseas flight. NO SLEEP. First employee tried to quiet them but to no avail. The overnight front desk was REAKing of Pot and could care less of our lack of sleep and calling manager, Joshua Backes. I will be disputing this charge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your staff is fantastic! I've been several times at this place, the localization is very convenient for me. I had a problem with my credit card and both the girl at the desk and the manager helped me a lot! Many thanks to them! Will return for sure!

I selected this hotel because of the shuttle bus service. I waited for 1 hr until 12:45am and bus never appeared. I called several times to request the service, nobody answered. It’s more like a Motel, nobody at the reception when finally arrived, room was clean and comfortable.

Very close to the airport. Some restaurants available within 10-minute walking distance.

Just a quick overnight stay before leaving from LAX early the next morning. Super-convenient location, room was clean and staff were friendly. Didn't use the pool or shuttle, so left no rating for those.

Convenient from the airport. On a very busy road with lots of parking lot, street, and plane noise. It’s old, but has been remodeled and it’s clean

It’s definitely in the hood but In n Out is walking distance so that’s a huge bonus.

Great location for transit stop. Convencer, restaurants clise.

Close to airport. Plenty of places nearby to eat or just buy drinks and snacks! Only drawback is it’s close to the airport so constant landing and takeoff noise. You get used to the noise!

Property was fine. General area is a little dilapidated around the hotel but it’s LA.

Very convenient to LAX. When you get a late or need a place nearby to stay. Quick shuttle pick up Ruth recently re-decorated and large. Voices do echo up from the parking area and windows are not that noise resistant.

Staff at the check-in counter was very friendly and helpful. Walkable distance to restaurants. Good for a day stay to fly out of LAX.

Very handy hotel - free shuttle service is great. And just a short walk to an iHop restaurant and a Circle K. Met all my needs

Good location to airport. Appreciated the shuttle to/from airport. Would have liked a continental breakfast before leaving for the airport.

First off, when I booked this place it said breakfast included. There was no breakfast and that was thoroughly disappointing. The staff at the front desk were pleasant. It was definitely not the best hotel and the parking situation seemed a bit stressful but overall it wasn’t bad. The beds were honestly super comfortable and that is a rarity. It’s a good option for airport convince.

Travelodge is about the best deal for the money. Inexpensive and convenient to LAX. I only found an IHOP close by.

The airport and rental car companies are 5 minutes away. Free Street Parking that I have never had trouble with. No breakfast but lots of close options and a gas station next door for late night needs.
