Parking was the most confusing part of the stay. You have a gate where it appears that you need to take a ticket yet the gate to exit is up. This has caused confusion with Uber drivers as they do not want to enter the lot. You really should get rid of them already as they are a major inconvenience. Other than that. The room was spacious and nice. Great touch on the LVP instead of carpeting. Free breakfast was a plus! Nice pool

Location is quiet and in industrial area close to LAX. Second time staying, and I enjoyed this time much better. Breakfast is smaller but enough. Pool and hot tub are nice, slightly dirty on the bottom floors. Room was clean but just felt empty, not too much to it, but better than being cluttered and dirty. Only thing is they limited the amount of pillows and blankets when asked for more. Parking is $30 as well .. on site which is nice, no dealing with parking garages.

Loved this hotel! Very clean, the pool/jacuzzi/fire pit area was top tier!!! Felt like I was at a nice outdoor restaurant with access to the little market area that included several spritzers, beers, wines, snacks; was extremely convenient. I’ll definitely stay here again.

Quick check-in, very easy transport from KAX. Spacious clean and comfortable room. Loved the pool and hot tub. The only area that was disappointing was the limited menu restaurant. Would definitely stay again however, just take an uber to one of the restaurants the staff recommended.

Unacceptable Cleanliness and Poor Customer Service My recent stay at the Hyatt Place El Sagundo, was deeply disappointing and far below the standards I expected from a reputable hotel chain. Upon entering my room, I immediately noticed someone else's hair in the shower. I tried to overlook it and rinsed it down the drain, hoping the rest of the room would be clean. However, the next morning, I woke up to find more long hair right next to my face on the bedding. As someone with very short hair, I know without a doubt that this was not mine. I took photos of the issue and approached the front desk to speak with a manager. I was told the manager wouldn’t be in until 10:30 AM and was asked if the staff could assist instead. I showed them the photo evidence, and while they apologized, they informed me that because I booked through Expedia, they couldn’t do anything to resolve the situation. This response was completely unacceptable. Cleanliness is a basic expectation for any hotel stay, and finding hair in both the shower and the bed is inexcusable. Even more frustrating was the lack of accountability and the refusal to address the issue simply because I booked through a third party. This is not how a reputable hotel should treat its guests, regardless of how the reservation was made. I expected better from Hyatt Place, and this experience has left me questioning whether me or my employees will stay at the Hyatt again.

This is my honest review of the pros and cons of this property. I’ll start of with the cons since there were mostly negative experiences during my 8 night stay. There were 8 inconveniences that took place during my stay at this property : 1. I was bitten by a bedbug 2. The bedbug was found near my son 3. I had to pack me and my children’s suitcases up in the middle of the night to be moved to another room which was an inconvenience. 4. Staff moved us to a room that smelled very moldy. Even the staff member confirmed he smelled the mold. 5. Then were moved again to another room which had another dead bug. They picked it up with a napkin and threw it out in the garbage. 6. The room we are currently staying in room was a downgrade because of the filthy window curtains stains. 7. I had to request for housekeeping to be done by the third and fourth day because they did not come to my room. I waited all day and we had no towels and I had to call the front desk a few times to get someone to clean the room. 8. I booked this hotel site through Expedia, which advertises daily housekeeping at this property, however it is not in alignment with the housekeeping policies paperwork that I was given upon arrival which states housekeeping wall be done on the third and fourth day. The pros: -The daily breakfast is good. -The airport shuttle bus was convenient -After making complaint to management they did refund me 2 nights for the bug incident and daily housekeeping after

Disappointing Stay – Not Recommended After a long flight, we arrived at New London Los Angeles Airport and chose an airport hotel. Once we collected our luggage, we contacted the hotel so the shuttle could pick us up. Unfortunately, we waited over an hour, although the transfer takes only about 10 minutes — far too long after such a tiring journey. Upon arrival, we checked into our room but had to change it immediately due to ants in the living area and bathroom. This was very disappointing. The breakfast was very good considering it was included. There was a wide variety: fruits, yogurt, pancakes, waffles, omelettes, sausages, toast, and bagels. The breakfast service was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and fast — the highlight of our stay. On the first day, we left the hotel at 9 a.m. and returned at 5:30 p.m. Our room was still not cleaned. We reported this and were promised it would be done immediately. After an hour it still wasn’t cleaned. Reception insisted otherwise but offered cleaning again. While we went out to eat, we returned after 1.5 hours — still no cleaning. This was exhausting, especially when travelling with a child who needed a shower and bed. The receptionist showed little willingness to help. Due to the long shuttle wait, ants in the first room, and the poor cleaning service, we cannot recommend this location.

The property looked clean, the Area seemed safe enough but it was more of an industrial area with nothing in walking distance. The shower floor tiles were a little dirty but that’s no big deal. My biggest issues were that the room smelled like Weed when we entered the first time. Then to make matters worse I saw a couple of small cockroaches, I saw the first one and thought maybe it was something else at first then saw a second and knew it wasn’t. This hotel had great reviews and I wanted to like it so that was disappointing.

Don’t stay in room #203. I was told it’s on top of the kitchen. Every 10 minutes or so I would hear a loud bang, so loud it would shake the floors and ceiling and I would jump. I noticed the front desk and they sent the supervisor and engineer up to the second floor to check it out along with the third floor to check it out. They could not identify where the noise was coming from. They were helpful in trying to figure it out and offering me a different room two doors down but I declined to move as I was staging just for the night. Would have been nice to not have to deal with the constant noise but oh well. Breakfast food was all cold.

I arrived in the evening. at 7pm. I chose this hotel becuase it was in close proximity (2 miles) to the LAX Airport to stay overnight to catch an early flight the next morning. It said to call the number to have the hotel shuttle come and get you once you get to the correct spot. Getting to the spot (arrivals level) was not too difficult. 50 minutes later the shuttle arrived. The front desk said it was a 3rd party service. I saw at least 100 shuttles go by and I called twice to get an update. Ugh. do not stay here if you need a shuttle. Then, for my 7am flight, the shuttle does not start until 6am - too late. Paid the $20 uber and will never come back.

The hotel was conveniently located for flying into LAX and flying out the next day. Bed was comfortable and breakfast was good. Water pressure in the shower was pretty low. I was disappointed in the service level. It took a few minutes to be greeted, although not all the counter staff was busy. Again, walking by the front desk to breakfast, no one looked up and said “Hello”. The only people that seemed to be pleasant and doing their jobs were the breakfast staff. The last straw though was when we wanted to take the shuttle to the airport. We were told to wait out back. When a gentleman walked towards us, I asked if he was the shuttle driver. His response was “It’s at 9:30”. (It was 9:20). So we continued to wait. At 9:30 he walked out, didn’t even look at us, and said “I’m on break, you’ll have to walk over there to get the shuttle.”

We chose this property due to airport shuttle. The shuttle never came. We waited 90mins while calling them and they said another 10mins but never came. They then charged us an extra $40 usa a night from the Expedia quoted price. We asked about a good place a beer and dinner. They said 10mins down the road. We walked for an hour. No shops close. A lot better options the area. Give this one a miss.

Lovely affordable hotel near Los Angeles International Airport located in a business quarter of airlines and tech companies. The main win was the Metro Rail station a short five minute walk down the street that allowed me to travel to Santa Monica. Using the Metro Rail, you can pretty go anywhere in Los Angeles for $2. Top tip buy a TAP Card at the station that can also be used on the buses.

Stayed one night before a flight from LAX- very close. We used the free shuttle to the airport which was nice! The breakfast was good- premade waffles no having to wait in line for the waffle maker. We were given an accessible room (didn’t ask for one), it was extra roomy and very clean. The front desk staff was very polite and welcoming. We didn’t eat at the restaurant- we went to the rooftop of AC hotel next door. Would recommend a stay.
