Superb fitness center. Excellent customer service. High quality food.

It really bothers me that this property charges a parking fee each night. It feels like an unnecessary charge.

Clean, updated rooms. The staff is friendly. The lobby is nice. Not alot of parking so difficult at night

Clean room, nice staff. Neighbors were noisy most of the night and the whole exterior was under construction. Seemed nice otherwise.

I was extreamly annoyed after traveling and checking in and being told I had to pay an additional $12 per night to park. I was told if i didnt pay I would have to park accross the street in the Taco Bell parking lot. In addition a sign on the front told me they were not responsible for any damage to cars in the lot. This is in a rural area of folsom california NOT San Francisco. Also, every hotel I stay in has complimentary coffee in the lobby, not this one. They have Starbucks so you can pay $5 for a cup of coffee....no thanks. I doub used tot i will ever stay in this hotel again. Too bad I like courtyards.

Chore was under construction and they still charged to park though there was very limited parking space. In fact, I couldn’t even park near the hotel. Other than that the stay was fine. Hotel is clean and staff is friendly.

Clean room, but very simple. No paintings on the walls, basic furniture - a kind of an odd feeling like I was in an unfinished hotel, not the typical Marriott. AC unit old and very noisy during the night. Gym was well equipped.

Room reeked of mildew gave me a headache every night into morning son woke each morning complaining of sore throat. Parking was compromised by construction equipment. Staff was not empathetic to our situation put us directly above construction in the smallest square footage room even though we had paid for the largest option.

The location is great—close to shopping and restaurants. Check-in was fine, though the front desk staff wasn’t particularly friendly. The lobby felt warm and stuffy, with a portable fan/cooling unit on the floor, which made me wonder if the AC was working properly. My room was clean and the amenities were solid, but the shower didn’t drain, and water quickly pooled around my feet. It was gross and made it hard to do basic self-care. Between that and the lack of warmth from staff, I’m not sure I’d stay here again.

When we arrived our room was not clean. There was hair in the shower drain and the comforter was soiled. The manager did move us to a better room, but the bed was still uncomfortable and there was construction going on. Not what I would normally expect from a Marriott property.

Check-in was as usual. Nonsense that you get charged $12 a night for parking after already paying higher rates compared to other hotels in the same area. Room was clean-ish. Black mold visable around the fixtures in the shower, area is loud. A lot of sirens throughout the night.

The room appeared clean but as we got ready to get into the bed, we noticed body hair in the bed. The second thing we noticed was a stain on the comforter, a coffee stain that was sticky and smelled like coffee. When we went to the front desk, she informed us that she was the only staff there and couldn’t change the bedding for us but could give us bedding to change ourselves. The bedding she handed us were to flat sheets. So we had to sleep between two flat sheets, no comforter and were really paranoid about if the pillowcases were changed over. We asked her to leave a note for management to contact us in the morning but they did not.

Our shower was not clean. We were told the room would be cleaned every other day. That did not happen even after we inquired. We advised we were checking out a day early and was told they would hold our room just in case we changed our minds. Our flight out of the county was 12/27/23, I see they checked us out 12/28/23 at 1:40pm. I find that crazy.

Room was clean and smelled fresh. Love that the bathroom has a ventilation fan. Bed was comfortable. And the 12:00 check-out was very nice! Will stay here again.

Durning my visit, the air conditioner was making a loud noise and I had to shut it off, which made me uncomfortable!!

Everything was great other than when the heater clicked on it was really loud awakening me in the middle of the night and we were unable to watch TV at night due to the batter in the remote being dead

Fantastic staff - very polite and helpful. The mattress and pillows were a little firm for me. I wasn’t able to control the fridge temperature and wish it had a freezer section for my ice pack. Would have also appreciated a microwave.

Walls were paper thin and I could hear every footstep they took upstairs.

The TV was 26 inches sitting on a small dresser with no microwave or small refrigerator. Other than that, it was ok.

Room was very large, clean, quiet and comfortable with modern decor. The location was perfect for us.

It was disappointing to note that there are no microwave and refrigerator. I haven’t been a hotel recently which doesn’t have drinking water.

The front desk staff were rude and unprofessional. A fire alarm went off at 6am, everyone evacuated and not a single staff member came outside to explain what was going on or check on the guests.

Didn't like the staff, specifically the front desk. Staff was not very receptive, no smile, not cordial enough almost rude. Inquired about using phone key, front desk informed app not working at that time without even checking. It looked like staff did not want to bother with helping. I was the only one at the desk, no other clients around. There was plenty of time to help.

When we checked in we first encountered with Rose, she was extremely rude and unprofessional. Then we came back to checking our room was ready we were greeted by a gentleman and he took care of us. We asked to use the bbq and he said yes. We didn’t know we’d need charcoal for the grill, got what we needed and continued with our check in. Everything was great afterwards until we were started getting housekeeping calls early morning. I wouldn’t stay here, again.

It’s a Marriot hotel, but the night employee was a bit rude (and has been on several Other stays) that I don’t want a ground level room.

I wanted to take a moment to express my appreciation for the outstanding service I received during my recent check-in at your establishment. From the moment I arrived at the front desk, I was thoroughly impressed with the professionalism and efficiency of your front staff. The gentleman who assisted me went above and beyond to ensure that each guest, including myself, was warmly greeted as they entered or exited the hotel. What struck me most was his ability to handle a very busy check-in process seamlessly. While attending to me, he was also juggling several other tasks, including checking in other guests, processing transactions at the convenient store, and assisting a guest who needed a new key. It was truly remarkable to witness his multitasking skills as he effortlessly addressed the diverse needs of at least six different guests in a remarkably short period of time. Despite the hectic atmosphere, he remained composed and attentive, making each of us feel valued and appreciated. Moreover, I was delighted to find that my room was impeccably clean, and the accessibility of the parking facilities made my stay even more convenient. In summary, this experience stands out as one of the best check-in encounters I've had, and it's a testament to the dedication and professionalism of your front staff. Please convey my heartfelt gratitude to the individual who assisted me. I will certainly recommend your hotel to others based on this outstanding check-in experience.

Friendly & helpful front desk. Easy to find from freeway and beautifully maintained property.

Last minute booking, covenient location near hospital for early morning check-in, close to restaurants and shops, nice area in Folsom, recomended.

The woman at the front desk who checked us in was very helpful and pleasant. Our room was nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is located close to many restaurants and shops. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

the fact that you did not have free coffee available in the lobby in the morning was the only problem I had with the hotel. all most every place I've ever stated offered coffee and maybe a Danish to it's customers free. You charged $4.00 if you wanted a coffee. I think for a nice hotel like that it cheeped out. Coffee in the rooms are never any good

It was my first time staying here. I chose this location because it was conveniently located to meetings I had to have in the area. However, it was a very uncomfortable stay. The dining area was closed most of the time, even during the listed hours. I asked when they'd be open and was told that the person managing it had stepped out - which was an excuse I overheard at different times. Luckily there were options nearby to eat, but after long meetings and traveling I selected this hotel for that reason. Also - there must have been a family reunion happening as there were TONS of children running rampant both on my floor and in the hotel lobby pretty much at all times, with no one on staff asking folks to quiet down. When I'm staying somewhere the expectation is there should be a reasonable ability to relax, and that was not the case at all during my stay. I'm sure much of this is situational, but I just don't think the hotel had proper staffing levels from what I saw, and weren't able to prioritize the needs of all guests. I will definitely be choosing another option the next time I'm in Folsom.
