Hampton Inn & Suites Folsom

There are no EV chargers as advertised! They are under construction and months away from being finished!

Having the indoor pool was the big reason we booked this hotel. The pool area could have used a little clean up and the shower by the pool only gave me cold water so I didn’t use it but other than that I was very happy with the stay

The breakfasts were great, including good variety! The gym was well equipped. The only issue was you have to make an account with peliton to use the bike. The indoor pool and jacuzzi were a nice feature. The staff were all polite and helpful. Great stay!

As a family traveling for a sporting event we appreciated the breakfast offered. The options were plentiful and the hot food was cooked well. The pool was large and a good temp, they did run out of pool towels due to the pool being so busy so id have thought they would plan for that but, it was small potatoes. The fitness center was undegoing a makeover which we were not informed of. That was a bummer.. The coffee available 24 hours a day was a wondeful perk as it was delicious! The staff as a whole was incredible. Very kind, friendly and attentive to guests. My only downfall i can point out is the bathroom in our room smelled funky. We had room service come tend to it but i think its imbedded in the tile. Overall we would absolutely stay at this property again and we are glad to know its an option in Folsom!

Seen better days. Serious updates to rooms needed. Door keys did not work to get into pool area and from outside back in.

Hot tub was not even hot but barely luke warm

Great room and well insulated. Excellent fitness room. Only negative was that the breakfast was not up to normal Hampton standards.

Hotel and staff are great. None of the 10 EV chargers are operable.

Easy on and off of freeway, nice clean and well lite parking area.

Everything was good but it advertised ev charging. All 10 chargers were out of service. That was one of the reason we picked the hotel. Disappointing

Friendly staff, clean rooms, easy access.

We got in late. My daughter was way uo passed her bedtime so we went straight to bed. The next day I noticed a weird black mark down the center of the bathtub. We hadn’t used it, so it wasn’t from us nor did I know what it was. That evening I purchased a magic eraser and scrubbed the tub clean. I went down at that point to talk to the front desk staff member about how disgusting the bathtub was. Unfortunately,, she could not help because they were completely sold out and I booked through a third-party vendor. This was on Saturday, she told me to call back on Monday to speak to the managers. She was very apologetic and said that each room is checked off by the cleaning manager, and that room should have been taken off market. She offered to allow us to use a shower/bath tub in a room that they had off market because it had a hole in the ceiling. We declined. I asked about moving rooms since we are staying through Sunday and leaving on Monday. She said they could do that, ultimately my daughter did not want to change rooms. So I asked that housekeeping come by and release scrub the bathroom while we were out the next day. They did come back by and clean change out the towels emptied the trash and made the bed, but I think they do that anyways on the second night. I took pictures and the front desk staff member had me email them to her. I took up before and after, the corner of the soap holder showing black spots of mold and caked on soap, and rusted chips around the drain.

Really needs to be updated. Water drained slow. Furniture is very scuffed and dated. Room smelled terrible. Not like the other Hampton Inns we stay at...this was the worse one ever. Really need to have better cleaning...dusty, mirrors streaky, lots of smudges on the walls and doors and light switches...update and clean up!

Hotel was comfortable and breakfast was delicious. Some mold was noted on shower head and tub caulking. There was pleanty of parking. The suite we booked has a decent sized mini fridge, sink, and microwave which came in handy traveling with a baby.

My family booked three separate rooms at this location. All three rooms were poorly maintained in terms of cleanliness. Two of the rooms had an awful, unpleasant odor. The sofas were very dirty and the bathtubs/showers were dirty as well. The bathroom area wallpaper in the room I stayed in was absolutely filthy. The shower head made a loud whistling sound and the water pressure was too low. The mini fridge was basically non operational and leaking water. I had to place a towel on the floor in front of the mini fridge to prevent slipping during my one night stay. I was pleased with the breakfast that was served though. I recommend a major overhaul/renovation of this location. Overall I was extremely disappointed with this being part of the Hilton family of hotels.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room and bathroom were spotless. Bedding was super comfy and there were lots of pillows to pick the ones I wanted. Breakfast offered a variety, was great, and convenient.

We had to change rooms because the showerhead and the walls had mold on them. The next room we kept, but it smelled like mold. Overall not very pleased with our stay.

Great staff, clean room

Property was very clean. Every staff member was friendly and helpful.

Booked room in advance. Ended up right next the elevator, aka noisy. People in next room had what sounded like 8 kids inside. Running, screaming, crying, etc. A/C couldn't handle the heat outside, so room never really got cool. Not the absolute worst hotel experience, but bad enough to very unlikely ever stay there again.

Everything was clean and nice! Breakfast was delicious with a lot of different options. Pool and hot tub were very nice as well! Compared to the pictures online it is definitely dated and needs some upgrades. Also the AC was terrible, it was so hot all night no matter how many times I adjusted the thermostat

The staff was friendly and the hotel was convenient. I came to sleep-really deep sleep-as my home is being renovated and needed a good dark, cool bedroom. I could hear heavy footsteps from the guest one floor up, and doors closing hard in the hallway so my review is average. The room was clean enough, the coffee was okay and parking was plentiful.

The beds were just WAYYYY TOO hard

We had a portable AC in our room, the shower was lousy, the fan in the bathroom sounded like a prop plane, the carpets were dirty and the TV system was 20 years old. This Hotel is due for a renovation. Didn’t feel like a Hilton to us.

The hotel looked clean and pristine as we checked in. The room was larger than expected, and was well laid out, with a separate kitchenette area complete with mini -fridge and a microwave. A sitting area had a couch and end table, with a bed and two end tables across the room from there. A large television that swiveled was between the sitting room and bedroom areas. There also was a sink area with a hair dryer on the wall, as well as a closed in bathroom with tub and shower. A generous breakfast was offered in the lobby area from 6 to 10 am. Very comfortable accomodations!

We have stayed at this hotel before and liked it very much for comfort, quiet, nice room and beds, cleanliness and overall appearance. This time however our room was over the pool. It was impossible to sleep because of the noise level of the kids screaming and playing in the pool loudly until midnight. When we called to complain we were told that the pool hours were until midnight with quiet time from 10 PM on and they would go and check. Nothing happened. Seriously this needs to change to pool closure for everyone by 10PM in order to sleep. I will NOT stay over or near the pool again!!

Good place to stay. The furniture in the room looked a bit old and scuffed. Carpet a little worn, but still spacious and clean. Breakfast was good, as usual although there could be more seating. Would recommend.

Very friendly front office staff. Excellent breakfasts and amenities. Bed and pillows very comfortable. My room seemed a tad tired and worn. Overall experience was very very good.

Only thing was the TV was older and only had limited channels and was not able to cast from my phone or have any movie app capability. Indoor pool looked like I was to busy to make it down there. The breakfast was good, some kind of eggs, potato and a meat with cereals, make your own waffles fruit breads juice. I would choose again if I ever come back to town.

This is our favorite place to stay when we visit our family there. The man who manages the breakfast room is friendly and diligent in keeping everything tip top. His staff are also friendly and diligent. We appreciate them all very much.

Was excellent. Check in was perfect “George” was amazing, attentive, professional, thorough and patient. Rooms clean, comfortable and accommodating. Breakfast looked like a good selection (only grabbed a yogurt and banana on the way out).

Service was excellent and front desk staff amazing, especially Julio and Lea. Had to add an extra night to our stay and they worked it out that we could stay in the same room and gave us the best rate available. The room was amazing and bed very comfortable. Next time we are in Folsom, we will stay here!

Everything was fine. The only unfortunate part of the trip was how early everything around you closed. We tell the night staff that we are starving, and he offered NOTHING! He told us that in a couple hours breakfast would be served. What about all the goodies you have behind the check-in desk....

Max is great very nice help us out a lot.

The staff did not contact us about gas leak, i happen to be headed out to vape and heard another guest tell me.... not very good service from staff with the lack of communication

Very bad Service and rude people

I have stayed at this particular Hampton Inn several times for both pleasure and with a sports team. The staff here is wonderful! They are responsive, courteous and just plain kind! They are particularly kind and respectful when I travel with our sports teams with Special Needs athletes.

Staff was great and very helpful, my only issue is that check in was at 3 and my room was not ready till almost 4. The A/C in the room was also not working and I was not able to lower it to make it cooler, but to the staffs credit they did offer a new room, and when we declined they offered a fan. We were there for a soccer tournament as were a lot of other families so I think they may have been busier than usual but overall the stay was ok. My daughter and her team really enjoyed the pool though.

This is a lovely property, located in NEW Folsom and surrounded by lots of shops and restaurants. The breakfasts were great and we loved the pool and area around it!

Stay was fine, no issues. Close to the freeway. Lots of dining options. Spacious room. Overall a good experience.

Great location

Our 2-night stay in Hampton Inn Folsom was very good. The hotel is immaculate - I was surprised several times to see someone with a spray bottle of cleaner walking around looking for marks on the floor or walls. Breakfast was better than I had expected; waffle station, hot eggs, potatoes, sausage, cereals, breads, good coffee. The gym was very well equipped and looked into the pool indoor area. Room was not overly spacious, but dd accomodate two queen beds. Decent bathrooms with good amenities. Close to Highway 50 and the upscale Palladio shopping mall. Lots of restaurants within 5 minutes. Would definitely stay here again.

I liked the walking distance to shopping and restaurants. The hotel was very comfortable and accommodating. The complimentary breakfast was excellent! Will definitely stay here again when in the area.

We've traveled quite a lot in recent years and have seen the reality of many establishments having a "free breakfast" the Hampton Inn at Folsom outshines them all. The variety is excellent. The breakfast room is spacious and always very clean. The staff are constantly cleaning and resupplying the food item which include scrambled eggs or omelets, sausage (different types), or bacon, hot cereal, cold cereal, yogurt, waffles, fresh fruit and more. Adrian (who manages the breakfast room) is very industrious as are his staff - constantly cleaning and resupplying the food items. I can't say enough about how good this feature is!

Traveled for the CIM 26.2 and this is an ideal location. Walk to bus for start line shuttle, plenty of food and lake is right there for walking before/after race. Hotel even had a 4:30 breakfast for runners!!!

We stay for two days. Hot breakfasts are different for both days. We like the fresh fruits!

I liked our stay but breakfast was jammed full of kids playing on their phones. No place to sit and eat.
