Clean and welcoming. Staff was wonderful. The facility is top notch, free laundry and gym.

Couldn’t find parking when we came back late had to park in overflow area by restaurant. Free breakfast wasn’t very good.

Decent property, clean room, quiet neighborhood. BUT, they charge $10 parking per night, but they DO NOT tell you about it when checking in, and there is no signage about parking at the front desk; I found out the next day after check out, I saw charge on my credit car, I called front desk, and they said I had written my initials on a check-in piece of paper, I asked for a copy, and they sent an unreadable pdf to my email; I'm from out of town by the way; and what makes it more irritating, I did not even park on their premises, I parked in the shopping center next to the hotel because their "parking" was overflowing. Very upset about this hidden charge!!

This is our go to hotel whenever in the Sacramento area. The only set back is the lack of a pool.

Beware. Parking costs an extra $10 per night, effectively upping the cost of the room.

Very comfortable in all ways: room, staff, parking, etc Breakfast was poor

I stayed three nights in November 2024. The property is in great condition and clean. My only complaint is the parking lot is only laid out, which limits the way in and one to one way. Getting in and out of the parking lot is awkward with poor views of oncoming traffic.

Great little complex that caters well to business and extended stays. Our suite had a bed and a fold out couch that was remarkably comfy. The provided dishes, stovetop, and dishwasher were not necessary for us on this trip but in the future we’d be certain to use. The gym facilities were small but well equipped with all the essentials. The complimentary breakfast included standard items like bagels, toast, pastries, yogurt, cereal, etc. Would stay here again.

Too many carbs for breakfast options. Also aggravated that I had to pay for parking and there were never spots available.Other than that it was 👍

The rooms were great with a full kitchen. I was expecting a pool but was not one.

Our stay was fine. The premise is a bit tired and there is a musty smell throughout.

The property was well maintained. The room we had smelled like a cigar was smoked in it. The toilet paper was cheap and rough. We had 3 bath towel for 2 nights which should have at least 4. We have stay at this hotel at least 5 time and this was the a little surprising to my husband and me.

Overall ok. Door kept getting jammed trying to open with keycard, there were random hairs found in the bathroom. However, staff was friendly and property was close to event.

The carpet was so dirty and smells bad. I don’t know why there’s poo on the carpet in 2nd floor. This was really so dirty and disappoint my stay there. So just check in to another hotel the next day. I hope they would maintain their cleanliness.

This place is wonderful if you want to feel like you're actually having an apartment rather than staying in a hotel. They had everything from silverware to plates and had a wonderful shampoo and conditioner. They even had a little doggy made of a towel with eyes on it sitting on the bed. It was so cute. There's a full living room as well as kitchen with a stove and a refrigerator then there's also the bedroom. I travel a lot and it's nice to feel like you're actually having a little home rather than just a singular room. Very well done as well as allows dogs but there was no odor of any kind. You can tell that they clean the carpets regularly and there's no smoke smell at all anywhere. Very nicely kept grounds with very nice staff.

No continental breakfast like they said. It was microwaveable food. The room was not clean and found socks from previous guests under the bed. Staff was nice.

Had to wait a few minutes for someone to show up at the front desk to help me. Both for check-in and especially for check-out. Why is the front desk so empty? Lol. I thought the front desk is a priority for hotels? The walk from the elevator to my room smelled bad. The TV did not work and the alarms weren’t reset by staff so previous persons time woke me up. Oh, and I turned the kitchen faucet on and a nasty smell would come from it. The bed was very comfortable, solid 6/5. Final score of 2/5.

The check-in process was smooth but when I got to the room it smelled so heavily of pet urine that it was hard to breathe. I opened the windows and I went down to the front desk to tell them that the room smelled bad and I did not want to be charged for it because I had my dog with me. Instead of offering me a new room and/or waiving the $75 pet fee, she told me that she would make a note on the account. By the time I got back to the room, the smell was faint but still very much there. Then I had to close the window because we were directly above the smoking area and had to make the choice between that and urine. It was an awful stay. I was only there 8 hours and then I hopped on the road to continue my road trip.

We stayed in room 205 which was a lovely suite. But once we went to bed, we heard what we guess was the elevator all the time. It woke me up continually all night long. Not a good experience at all.

Love this hotel the only thing that could be better is the water pressure in the showers.

Clean large rooms. Nice included breakfast with waffles and bagels. Lots of parking.

Large room and the fact it had a separate bedroom. Bathroom had 2 sinks and a large countertop. Didn’t like the poor choice of tv channels and that the tv would keep going blank. Made it hard to watch a show.

The pros: the room is huge with a full sized kitchen and full-size refrigerator. The cons: that full-size refrigerator is really noisy. Also, the TV is located to the side of the bed, which means, to watch it you get a stiff neck very quickly!

Air conditioning unit was in the living room but not in the bedroom. Do bedroom was hot even when the air was on. Made for a very uncomfortable night.

Overall, this is a nice hotel, and the room was good. I've stayed here several times before. Bathroom was plenty large, so was the room. Two critiques: first, the location is odd. The hotel is in the corner of a retail center, so there isn't any real ambiance surrounding the place. Second, it is showing its age. First floor hallway carpets are worn and stretched.

Everything about this hotel was great. My only issue was I couldn’t connect to WiFi. I had to use my own hotspot. The desk clerk tried to help, but couldn’t figure it out. Other than that, I had a very nice stay. I will stay here again 😊

Great customer service

I booked this room for my sister who was coming into town. Unfortunately, my sister was involved in a life altering accident in the morning of the reservation. I called and spoke with Michelle to cancel and refund my the reservation. Michelle informed me that it would be canceled and refunded but her manager would have to issue the refund on Monday. I never received the refund. When I called the property to speak with a manager, I was left on hold for 15 minutes and then hung up on. This is the most unprofessional management team that I have ever dealt with. As of today, I still have not been contacted or issued a refund.

Staff was accomodating.

This was our destination after a three car ride and we arrived at 6am in the morning roughly 8 hours behind schedule. The staff was so kind and accommodating as we were all a little sleep deprived. Christian, Kaylee and Michelle in particular were fantastic.

Front desk girl was rude

My husband had an issue with the night auditor named Christian on Saturday morning around 5am, the mattress on our bed was extremely uncomfortable, there was no support and when I mentioned it to the front desk, I was told they couldnt move me to another room because my reservation was locked by Expedia.com. I asked if the mattress could be switched out and Melissa assured me that thw maintenance man would swap it out while were gone for the day and it wasn't. When I asked why no one could call and tell me, there was no answer. I sent an email to the assistant manager Natasha on Sunday about the issue, we had a total of 6 hours of sleep all weekend. We decided to leave at 3am this morning because we coulsnt sleep; and we were woken up by the person across the hall who put a crunched up beer can in our door handle. While we were leaving, the gentlemen proceeded to harass us to the point that we needed to call the front desk and then the cops. Once we got home today, I CALLED Natasha because I had not heard a response from her and after having a chat with her, she proceeded to state that she never had a problem with the man across the hall from us before and that maybe WE were the issue. I was also told by her that she had instructed her staff to ler us know that we could check out early without being penalized, HOWEVER NO OME TOLD US THAT. We absolutely would have left early. Overall I am so disappointed, and our Christmas vacation was ruined by this whole experience.

Nice location dog friendly. However the room across from us and next to us their dogs were barking for over an hour at 3AM in the morning and the staff said they couldn’t do anything about it. Also we asked for more bath towels and never got them. The staff was rude and never acknowledge people coming or leaving.

Very convenient for stores being around in walking distance

Larkspur Landing is conveniently located in Folsom for us to visit family. There are numerous restaurants and shopping nearby. The rooms are clean and comfortable with kitchens. The staff is very friendly.

There’s a shopping center nearby, outlet mall and various places to dine at.

This property was very clean, friendly staff. Located within walking distance to shopping, dining and walking trails. The con is the A/C did not work and it was a hot weekend.

The property was quite nice...once we found it. It sits on the rear edge of a strip mall with spacious parking for the stores but very few spaces for the guests, unless we wanted to schlep our bags a distance. The pictured greeting wall was nowhere in evidence unless it was by the road (and not near the hotel); Google got us into the lot, but we went in circles twice before following a pickup truck thru what looked like the dumpster yard. The lobby and indicators of it were dimly lit. (It was only 7PM) The receptionists were both knowledgeable and helpful. The billing is odd: our Visa account showed the $100 security deposit, but today only a $10 amount was shown without a + or -. We'll see if there's an adjustment. ROOM: spacious, but the bathroom could have received a couple extra square feet. Also an exhaust fan. Facilities worked well. BREAKFAST: a little more items than in most hotels but no hot foods, unless you count beverages. STRIP MALL: I guess it's the business conditions, but at 8PM Monday only a dessert shop, taco stand, Desi supermarket and a multiplex theater were open. With a some walking or a short drive, other stores were on adjacent blocks.

Great location for shopping, eating and taking a walk

Pleasantly surprised. It was our first stay ay any Larkspur property. The breakfast, while not a full breakfast, was more than satisfactory. Polite staff, clean hotel. We will book this one again,

We really enjoyed our 3-night stay and will stay here again when in the area. My only disappointment was a boring complimentary breakfast. It was adequate and the items were fresh, but no hot breakfast items unless you consider the available toaster and microwave.

I did like that the property seemed upscale and the folks I interacted with were nice and helpful. I didn't like that there were many places that needed additional attention. The carpet in the hallways was poorly installed, the ceiling especially over the tub appeared to have had previous water damage? The patch in the wallboard was poorly done. The elevators were quite dirty, and the built in air handling equipment grates were covered with a thick layer of dust. The thing I likes the least was the breakfast. They advertise as having breakfast available. They did have cold cereal, heat and eat oatmeal, fresh bagels and bread, bananas, oranges, a few choices of small containers of juices, but I tried the "orange juice" a blend of something. I was expecting eggs and such for breakfast......looked around and went elsewhere for breakfast because the snacks I found don't add up to breakfast for me. The beds were comfortable enough, the room fairly quiet, the plumbing worked ok. Plenty of hot water. All generally a bit better than OK but shows its age.

Great location with nearby restaurants and retail. Quiet and great service. Breakfast was basic...lots of pastries and prepackaged goods, not for those watching calories but better than nothing.

Breakfast has limited choices, not enough tables, chairs for guests. Walking noise was heard from upper floor. Kitchenette is convenient.

Room was charming and cozy. Hideabed was not comfortable though. Room was older but nice and roomy. Bed was very comfortable and clean. Staff was super friendly. Breakfast was not great.

The property itself was great, we loved our room it was really like a mini home away from home it had a bedroom, huge bathroom, kitchen and living room. It was super clean as well. However, when we were checking in they tried having us sign a paper that had us commit to paying a $75 pet fee and we didn’t have a pet with us. Additionally, they charge $10 a day for parking which we weren’t aware of prior to booking the stay. Finally it says they serve breakfast which we were super excited about so we got up right at 6am the very next morning and got all the way down there and it was not what you envision breakfast to be. The options were cereal, oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, bagels, danishes, and then there was a fridge with milk, juice and frozen breakfast sandwiches and burritos. We were severely disappointed and we weren’t the only ones. There were a few other people downstairs who said the exact same thing. We grabbed a few items and went back upstairs, our milk and juice were warm and the pastries were not good. We ended up getting breakfast out at a restaurant the remainder of the time there.
