Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Fresno North, CA

Great hotel close to the freeway in Fresno. Breakfast included waffles, omelette, bacon, potatoes and fresh fruit. Great indoor pool, jacuzzi not working currently.

Check and out was easy. Indoor pool, hot tub was out of order. Staff was nice.

In need of an update and some repairs. The water pressure was awful in the shower and it took about 10 minutes to get warm water. The room carpet was worn and needed replacement as did the bathroom fixtures. The outlet chargers didn’t function well. One of the washing machines was broken in the laundry and the desk clerk didn’t mention any plans to repair or replace it. The breakfast was good and the attendant was doing a great job but there was very limited seating. The location was good for our next day travel to Yosemite. We were going to return there before we head to Sequoia, but we cancelled and found another hotel because we will need to do laundry.

Little disappointed that the spa wasn’t working. After a long drive that would have been great for back pain relief. When something is not available that is listed for use, they should discount something else.

The breakfast items kept running out and not being replenished. They only have one Ice Machine for all three floors and it was broken. It was 104 degrees so that was not great. Other then the above, stay was nice.

My first impression was that the staff were really nice and very helpful. They managed 2 customers who were being rude and impatient very professionally. The elevator was out of order which isn’t their fault. They did their job at informing everyone in a timely manner. I booked two rooms for this trip. Our rooms were ok, one bed did have what looked like dirt stains on the sheet and pillow, which we only noticed after pulling up the blankets. I was too tired to request a new set. I was traveling with teens, so of course they brought their gaming system. In one room, the TV didn’t work, it had “bad signal”, the other room did work, so we just switched rooms with each other. There were decent vending machine options and a heated indoor pool. I was looking forward to the hot tub, but that didn’t work either. I do like that the hotel is located near Target and 7/11 as well as Huckleberries. The breakfast was good! My family of 6 each was able to eat something tho their satisfaction and it was hot and fresh.

The place is continent, facilities are not very good though: SPA pool is closed, and gym machine is out of order.

I would have given this property 5 stars if it weren't for a couple things. We needed to do some laundry and the washing machine was oiut of order so we ended up spending a fair amount of money at a l9cal laundry mat, and so was the hot tub. The location was convenient to the expressway, staff was pleasant and offered to make up a to-go bag breakfast because we had a early morning flight home. Had good recommendations for restaurants for dinner. Room was spacious and clean. I would stay here again.

I booked this hotel because of the indoor pool and hot tub that is advertised on the listing…. We check in and get ready for the pool and the pool water is green and the hot tub is completely drained and taped off…. I figured I would just soak in the tub in the room at this point; and the tub has BLACK MOLD growing in it and the top of the shower has a layer of dust caked on the rim of the tiles…I informed the front desk and they did nothing to accommodate the issue… I will not ever be staying here again. Very disappointed

Room was clean.

Carpet very old with lots of stains. Room was very humid with moulding smell.

This property has really gone downhill. I used to stay here three years ago, and it was in much better condition. The carpets were dirty and stained, the bathroom walls were getting moldy and the calling was peeling off and turning yellow. I didn’t want to sleep in the bed but it was late and I was tired. There are much better options that cost only a little bit more. I don’t recommend staying here.

Clean room

Amazing stay! All in all was pleasantly surprised of the excellent service at the front desk and from housekeeping. Clean and well kept room and Hallways.

Room 118 was terrible! The carpet was filthy, marks everywhere, some which looked like blood. The mattress was downright disgusting! Completely covered in dried pee marks and also what looked like blood mark. The A/C unit sounded like a plane was taking off from our room! The breakfast was mediocre and the coffee was terrible. The tap for the bath and shower was broken. We paid $271 for one night in this hellhole. An extortionate price! Do yourself a favor and stear clear of this place.

The service staff were great. Very friendly and welcoming. But the cleanliness of the hotel could’ve been way better. There was dirt in the cracks and crevices of the bathroom in our room. The floors were dirty. There was mold in our tub. The sheets smelled like cigarettes.

Yes room was very clean

I don’t usually write reviews but this experience was weird enough for me to say something. We arrive around 2:50pm and check in is at 3pm. The front desk said no rooms were ready to check back at 3, we waited in the lobby while the front desk person checked in two other families even though there were no rooms ready. When we did get a room the key didn’t work about 3 times and the room was kinda gross. The floors were sticky, stains on the bathroom floor and blood stains on my pillow. The toilet didn’t flush all the way and ran most of the time. We left that night to go to the casino and I swear someone came into our room to turn our ac off. The strangest thing was we put our stuff into our car the next morning, then we were going to head to the breakfast and check the room to make sure we didn’t leave anything and go but by the time we finish breakfast maybe 25 min we went back to our room and someone was cleaning it …. We hadn’t even checked out yet and it was about 9am, checkout is at noon. It was weird and we won’t be going back.

The room was clean, spacious, and equipped with all the expected amenities and toiletries, which made for a comfortable stay. However, the key cards were a bit of a hassle since they kept deactivating, requiring multiple trips to reception. Even after that, it sometimes took several tries to get the door open. The TV was also a little finicky to use. On the positive side, the breakfast was good—not anything overly fancy, but definitely satisfying and appreciated. The staff did a great job keeping the food stocked and available for all guests. Overall, a pleasant stay with a few minor inconveniences.

This place is ok but not comfortable by any means. We got terrible sleep because the bed was saggy in the middle and we kept rolling into it. The A/C in the room was more like a cooler that didn't actually cool down the room. We met a woman in the elevator on her way down to ask to switch rooms because her A/C and TV didn't work. Our TV worked, but I had to stand right next to it to get it to work, the remote didn't reach from the bed. At check-in, we were told breakfast started at 6, the next morning we had to wait 45 minutes because it actually started at 7am. The breakfast was pretty tasty. The shower matt looked dirty and needed a good scrub. And the window curtains had red blood-looking stains on them, so we chose not to touch it and just kept them open. And lastly, read the fine print because they charge a $2.99 administrative fee when you get there. I didn't get a receipt so I didn't know until I saw the charge on my card and called the hotel to investigate. I was told they charge it for booking with a 3rd party.

AC not central, was a wall unit. AC was loud and guests could not sleep with it on and too stuffy when off. No EV charger at location like listed at Expedia site. Overall just wasn’t a nice place. Only positive was the breakfast was good with decent options.

Staff is always friendly and helpful but it seems like there is something wrong with our room every time we stay lately. Our stay in September the TV wasn’t working properly and we could only watch one channel. The last time we stayed at the beginning of October we weren’t able to change the room temp so we were freezing in the middle of the night. This stay, last night, we weren’t able to turn the thermostat on. I even tried checking the actual AC unit which had a sign stating it’s controlled by the wall thermostat. After talking with staff at check out, she advised we were to use the actual AC unit controls. I let her know about the sign and her response was, “oh, it should have been removed, I’ll make sure I go remove it.” I also let her know this is the third time in three stays there’s been an issue with our rooms and she wasn’t really concerned with that information. I think we’ll be trying another hotel going forward.

Good location. Bathroom had a shaky tile and therefore a good rating for room condition

The room was a little noisy. The elevator shares a wall with it and could be heard whenever it landed on the same floor. The a/c was also pretty noisy.

The property is located within a good driving distance of multiple popular dining and shopping areas. This hotel is down the street from Fresno State so it is very convenient if you’re visiting someone attending the school. We had very few issues while staying here. Our biggest issue was that our key cards deactivated every day and we had to go to the front desk to reactivate them. We were told to keep them out of our wallets and away from our phones and keys and they still had issues. The TV was also not functional outside of one channel. They did offer to come up and troubleshoot but we ended up watching movies on our computer instead to avoid the hassle. The water pressure was very weak and we had to run the water through the faucet in the shower for awhile before switching to the shower head or else the water would not warm up.

The hotel itself was fine but the AC was VERY loud.

Staff was amazing

Hmmm... I am a tour guide. I made reservation of 2 rooms for over 80 year olds. I've stayed over thousands hotels. I've never been the first hotel front desk employee to treat guests so rudely, unkindly, and with a mockery. Arriving at the hotel around 7 pm, we were humiliated by the lady staff for about an hour until we got our rooms keys around 8 pm. During the conversation, the employee repeatedly asked the wrong same questions, walked into the inside room and made us wait recklessly without coming out for a long time. When she exited the room after a long time, I called 911 about her disrespect, discrimination and delay, and as soon as I informed her, the proceedings proceeded again. She asked me repeatedly; why do you come Fresno?, how many times have you come to this hotel? what is your car's plate number? I said her; we are traveling, we come here first time, you don't need my plate number, because I don't stay here. However, her rude repeated questions continued, and I was frustrated, so I wrote down my answers on paper. Feeling annoyed, I went outside, checked my plate #, and let her know. Our 80's year old women had exhausted for a long time. The employee gave separated floor's rooms, first time. When I asked for the same floor, she reluctantly assigned it to the second floor. Her rude behavior will not be forgotten for a long time.

We had some other guests that were extremely rowdy but Blake at the front desk took care of it immediately! The rest of our visit was great!!

We were on a tight schedule upon arrival, so it was disappointing to learn that our room was not ready, especially since it was already past 3:00 PM, the standard check-in time. While we waited, we noticed that several other guests—at least five or six—were checked in and given rooms before us. I asked the front desk if any room was available, even if it wasn’t the exact type I booked, but was told I would need to wait for the specific room I reserved. Unfortunately, this led to a delay of over 30 minutes before I received my room. My brother-in-law, who arrived with us, waited even longer—about an hour and a half. This delay caused us to be late for an important event we were attending, which was incredibly frustrating.

Very bad customer service. They don’t care about you. Don’t stay here.

This is my second time staying at this hotel and I always have the best service. The customer service is always fantastic! Clean, quiet & spacious.

Andrea made us feel welcome. The person who handles the breakfast area was fantastic. They worked hard and made sure breakfast was excellent. the area was kept clean and items were restocked in a timely manner. We will definitely stay here again.

Front desk staff was unfriendly and cold. Whole place smells like weed. Not sure what happened to this place but it hasn’t changed for the better. It’s not even a competitive price compared to other places anymore. I had chosen this place since it’s been clean and friendly but during this visit I didn’t get those qualities. Not sure if I’ll come back. Not expecting to get top service but getting the short end of someone’s attitude because of others actions isn’t something I would encourage anyone to pay for.

Stayed the night instead of driving 3 hrs in the morning for my son's soccer game. Beds were comfortable, easy to check in, friendly service, and buffet breakfast was a treat.

Good central location. Near many shops and food

Check in was easy, friendly. The hotel and room are clean…good sleeping! There’s not much to walk to but it’s convenient to the highway.

Great place to stay with easy access to downtown and Sequoia/King’s Canyon National Parks! The continental breakfast was delicious and nice that they switched up the hot offerings each morning. Bathroom could have been a little more updated, but the water pressure was great. Comfortable stay for a good price.

Location is very convenient. I love that they have a mini fridge and a microwave in the room.

Very close to Fresno State University

Location was great and enjoyed Huckleberry's Restaurant that was nearby.

The hotel is near the freeway and plenty of options for dining and shopping. The young lady who helped us at check in, was very nice and offered great pointers for restaurant options near by.

Convenient to airport and Yosemite

The hotel itself looks mostly newly renovated. The service is spectacular. The basic 2 queen room is EXTREMELY spacious and comfortable. My only knock for the room is that there is a strong odor of urine in the entryway. We aired out the room and requested deoderizer, it did help but the smell is obvious when you walk in the room. I would rate the bed 4/5 and the room 4/5. The pillows kept body and fullness. The indoor pool is a huge plus, however there is limited seating options the seats are stained and old, the hot tub was out of service. The complimentary breakfast is hot and fresh, and the serving staff is just so sweet and siper helpful. The hotel itself was quiet, even with the college students visiting. We slept very well here and would stay again, though we probably would be sure the room doesnt have that odor before settling in next time.

The hotel was average for a Fresno hotel. The breakfast was amazingly well prepared and tasty One of the best I have had and well-maintained clean serving area. I did have an issue with shower in my room. I reported it to the manager who was at the front desk with the staff. He said that he would send Maintenace to fix the issue. It was not resolved when I return later that evening. That was the only negative experience. It was difficult to shower before leaving to drive home.
