Ramada by Wyndham Fresno Northwest

Parking was inconvenient because there was limited parking available. Breakfast was nothing special as with any continental breakfast but I do have to point out that there were varieties to choose from when selecting juices for breakfast such as apple juice, orange juice, and cranberry juice, as to someplace there is no selection. The room I stayed at the door was hard to open and when I closed it, it was hard to push it to close also.

Computers were very slow. The person at the desk needs to be better supported with a better computer check-in system. I pre-checked in online, and it still took a long time due to a slow computer. The carpets were dirty in room 209, but 206 was upgraded with laminate wood, so it looked nice/clean. The lobby area was nice and clean. The breakfast area was cleaned but not restocked with plates and milk for the cereals. Overall, the breakfast selection was limited but adequate for the caliber of guests. Overall, the beds were comfortable and the room was clean and had everything that was needed for a comfortable stay. A heated pool would have been a big plus.

As the property itself, it was pretty good value for the quality price ratio. None of the doors in the hotel locked so all restrooms and whatnot were free for all. Even the room restrooms didnt lock. None of the plugs worked. The neighbors brought their kids so it sucked. But beds were great. Couch was comfortable. The pool isnt heated it was like ice cold and no hot tub, but Fresno can get hot so I suppose thats why.

It was good till there was a leak from the upper floor of the room above us. My daughter reported it right away. Matter was taken care.

The pool was closed, but no indication of this when I booked it. It would've been nice to know.

Staff is very friendly and beds were comfortable. Room was not as clean as it could have been and the door to the room needed some maintenance. The hallway smelled strongly of marijuana. There were several things in the hotel that needed maintenance, from the treadmill in the workout room, to the juice dispenser in the breakfast room, to the main floor washroom - all of which were out of order. The area surrounding the hotel did not feel particularly safe.

I was greeted by Javier. He was very polite and helpful. There is a laundry room in the lobby area. My room was very nice and my bed very comfortable. Woke up early for breakfast and was off to my next adventure.

It wasn’t the worst place I’ve stayed but it certainly wasn’t the best. The pool was tiny, the elevator was very outdated and the doors started to open while it was still moving, the parking lot started to flood from broken sprinklers and the front desk attendant didn’t seem to care. The beds weren’t that great.

Dirty walls, sink ,broken tiles broken locks

Hotel clerk tried to give us refund due to our room was dirty and had food on floor and sticky substances on dresser along with a pair of ladies dirty underwear in a shelf by the mirror. Bath tub was dirty also. The clerk couldn’t give us the refund because we booked thru hotels.com/ a third party. And apologized. Hotels.com called the property manager and requested the refund and property manager refused. So he thinks it’s ok for their housekeepers not to clean their rooms properly. I even gave the women’s parties to the hotel clerk.

The place looked clean but there were cockroaches in the restroom.

Dirty sheets and bathtub, had to swap rooms. Overall a very old and worn hotel, okay for one night though.

The pool area needs to be taken better care of, the entry of the room needed to be swept, the bathroom, towels, bedding needed to be cleaned better, and the room needed to be vacuumed.

There were cocroaches in the bathroom and 2 of them on the lamp next to bed.

Stains on mattresses, window screen has huge whole, ac unit smells like cat urine. Sticky floors. Checked out early

Very disgusted even for one night stay. The room smell like urine, the sofa bed is so old that look like someone thrown in the trash and has lots of stain and it need to be thrown out and replaced. There's a cup holder in the back of the sofa bed that's probably been there forever just to show this room was not cleaned properly. We asked for sofa bed linens and the linens have black particles so we didnt use the sofa bed. The 2 queen beds was ok. The bathroom air is weak and hot. I would not recommend this place to anyone! Ramada you need to make better of your name!

Beds were nice and comfy, not to much noise

While I was in town for business, the internet was down for most of the evening. Additionally, the TV was not working during my visit. The heater emitted a smell that indicates the filter needs to be changed..

Rooms a good size with living furniture but noise from staff room which was next door.

While the location of the hotel is convenient off the 99, the room quality and age of decor wasn’t up to par with other hotel experiences.

The front staff was very friendly, the cable didn’t work most of the time we were there. You could tell the guy was doing everything he could to get it back up. The breakfast choices was very limited.

Not a quiet place you can hear everything in hallway, but room very spacious and staff very accommodating.

Ramada has really fallen in the quality area. The room was shabby although clean. Also the noise from the hall and the rooms next door was a bit too much.

Got what I expected being on the lesser expensive side of things. Rooms could use some updating, but they aren’t bad either for the rate. Bed was actually the highlight of you like a softer mattress, which I do, it was great.

I was very happy with the service we received while there with a youth basketball team. Very accommodating.

I sent my workers to this hotel they got there and was greeted properly had no troubles checking in. We need more hotels like this.

This is the most arrogant, unprofessional, disrespectful, unknowledgeable, staff I’ve ever encountered at a Fresno hotel!

Always a pleasure staying here. Clean and quiet. My 4th time. All of the staff are friendly.

I checked in about 2PM. At around 10PM, when I was in bed, 2 young women opened my door and were about to come in when I spoke up. They immediately left (fortunately). A few minutes later, the front desk called to apologize. They asked me what room I was in (314); she said I was logged in as being in 310. Wrong. The desk clerk in the morning was very apologetic. Human error. No problem.

The front desk was helpful and very friendly. Overall experience was good.

Staff was warm and friendly and everyone had a smile. I had a minor problem with my door and the lady behind the desk did not hesitate to help me. I’ll be back.

The area was good. Breakfast was good. Stay was good. The door would not shut and to pull it hard to shut it. I checked in late by 10pm and informed the guy at reception if its okay that i check out late by 1 hour. Im tired since it was a long drive for me. The guy was cool and said okay. Next day at 11am (check out time) the mexican lady at reception called the room and said they will charge $10 for checking out late by 1 hour. I told her that the guy last night said it was okay to check out late by 1 hour. He did not inform me of extra charges. Otherwise i would have checked out at 11 am. She would not reply but just keep repeating "ITS 10 DOLLARS". Anything i would say/tell she would not reply at all but would keep interrupting and repeating RUDELY "ITS 10 DOLLARS". I just checked out at 11.40 am. Would NOT recommend and appreciate that rude receptionist. The guy a night before at reception was cool and good to talk to. He would ask interact how is trip. Where are you travelling etc. Etc. Will tell you where to eat nearby etc. The hotel is good. My only bad experience with the stay is the rude mexican lady at the reception.

Stayed here twice while visiting from out of town. Convenient location. Close to food, 99, and waterpark. Also short drive to riverwalk shops and theatre. Pretty quiet, staff friendly, continental breakfast good and they have a waffle maker.

Easy on and off interstate

My room smelled like urine, walls and carpet were dirty & stained, Window screen was ripped, outdated & depressing furniture, toilets sprayed out water when being flushed, my eyes burned when I turned on the fan!! Homeless encampments on street right down from hotel..

I had a wonderful stay here. It is right off 99 so it has easy access from and to the freeway. There were also two convenient stores next to the hotel for any last min purchases. The staff was nice and helpful! I did not feel unsafe at anytime!

It is hard to get out to Shaw Ave bad traffic

Great area for a one day and night stop. Very close to restaurants and highways.

Very good price and the room was large and comfortable. The surrounding area is high traffic freeways, so not suitable for walking, and it seemed a bit unsafe. It was fine for us as we just needed somewhere clean to sleep.

Pictures much better than reality. Breakfast was VERY LAME - shows hot pans and fruit (you assume in hot pans eggs/bacon/sausage) BUT NONE AVAILABLE. Wear to facility is high - get a maintenance person!

Toilet sprayed watereverywhere when flushed. Also had to flush several tmes..breakfast items very limited!

Clean and great breakfast they have a waffle maker you can use! Would recommend if you’re looking for a last minute stay for the night

Property nice and clean. It was very convenient from highway. Had gas stations right next to property. Breakfast had limited options with no hot breakfast other than waffles, but decent options

Not good breakfast

There were no fruit options or any kind of protein.

The shower head was old and there was no pressure in the shower. very bizarre. The property claims it provides breakfast but the breakfast is a joke. Only white bread, cereal and coffee. Juice machine was not working, no pastries, no bagels nothing. No fruits and Milk was only on asking. I am not sure how you have cereal without milk. I paid extra for the breakfast but ended up having to go to a Dennys
