This property is old and worn out. I would rate it as a two star. However it seems the franchise owners are now investing in improvements and it could some back as a 3 star motel with a little work. Do not let the lobby pictures confuse you--it looks very good but the rest of the structure is not as nice. There is no on-site restaurant (it's closed) and The pool is currently closed and being redone as are some of the interior things in each room. In-room television is spotty depending on where the room is located. Front desk personnel range from surly to very friendly depending on who is working the desk. It is convenient to other Fresno attractions and would be rated very good when the improvements are finished. All that being said, I would book the motel again in the future.

We were in a 2 Q room that was not updated. It shows its age. Our tub tap was dripping, wasteful for water. The grout in the bathroom needs a good bleach cleaning. One of our beds had a misaligned base. The AC unit was super loud. The area around the hotel had multiple old pallets laying around & we had to go through an automatic fenced gate to the parking area. Outdoor pool area was nice, hot tub was big & good for meeting people. Check in staff were nice.

It was poor-average. I haven’t stayed in the area and cannot compare it to much but the room had an unpleasant smell. There was a baby cockroach in the restroom when I got there. I got there at 11pm and just killed it and hoped there wasn’t any more because I was THAT exhausted. I hope I didn’t bring any home.

I made the mistake. The staff was friendly, otherwise the room was dirty, the desk chair was broken, there was hair and i believe sunflower seeds in the toilet, homeless around.

I don’t know how this hotel has a rating of seven maybe because of its longevity, but it was disgusting. The carpets were nasty and old. The couch had stains on it. The walls were chipped and damaged. The hallways were gross and it smelled like marijuana. The only thing nice was the AC and the towels.

The room is outdated. A chair in the room was stained and unclean. Lights by the beds did not work. No fan in the restroom. The room was not what I expected from the pictures on the website. The price was ok, but I won’t be scheduling another stay there.

The room was large, bed was ok. I didn’t go to the pool. There was no plug for the bathtub, but it was late and didn’t want to go ask for one. The toilet seat was pretty damaged. There was oxide on the faucets. Overall ok for a 1 night work trip.

Friendly service at the front desk. However, the room was dated, dirty and some of the furniture was full of dust. For the price, I DO NOT recommend this location. The shower curtain was improperly installed and had to be held to prevent a water mess in the bathroom. I will not stay here again and I caution anyone from staying at such a run down property such as this Ramada hotel.

The hotel needs some work to be done on it. Old and not in good shape. Computer for guests didn’t work. Wanted to charge &20 because I was there 20 minutes before formal checkin. Ridiculous! It took them 20 minutes to check me in.

Breakfast is always good and fresh the breakfast attendant lady is always so sweet. Parking is always safe. I’ve been staying at the Ramada off of Shaw since February. When my granddaughter was born and in the nicu. We travel to the children’s hospital often. I’ve never had a bad experience until last night. Unfortunately, we was checked into a room that the tub would not drain. The floor was disgusting stains all over the towels and a staff that checked us in was very rude unfortunately, the Front Desk lady had to come check the room to see if we were lying we had a bad experience this time. I myself is a supervisor at a navy gateway ins end suites in China Lake where we don’t question our guests we make sure everything is up to par up to their standards to provide a good and satisfying stay.. if a guest request to change rooms, we don’t ask questions. We make sure we have another room to move them to and do it to satisfy our guest.. I’ve spent thousands of dollars at this Ramada in and never had any bad experiences. I hope my next visit here will be more pleasant. If not I will unfortunately have to find a different hotel. But most employees here are very friendly and respectful. So I will give them another try.

This is the better area of Fresno and it was nice that it is a gated property. The grounds were lovely but the room itself smelt Smokey and of cheap air fresher to cover this up. Overall, ok stay for a cheap night stop over.

The property was generally good. Nice shower. Nice pool. Nice restaurant. Excellent staff throughout. Good breakfast but some variety would have been appreciated (scrambled eggs every day - no bacon or sausage or ham) - nice juice and cereal choices. Biggest gripe was the key cards. One key would maybe work once but was useless after that. The other would work on the third try or sometimes the fourth or fifth but was rarely good for the whole day. Overall a nice stay.

The lobby is very nice, but the rooms were poorly updated a long time ago and are run down. There was dust on the towel rack in the bathroom. The only protein option at the breakfast was scrambled powdered eggs. This property doesn't really deserve the name "Ramada".

Morning breakfast wasn’t great , and not allowed to take coffee or food to the room? But yet there’s a coffee maker and I ordered food to my room. , small children unsupervised , no adult with them, swimming in the pool that’s extremely dangerous and running through hotel areas and parking lot
