Courtyard by Marriott Fresno

Very nice, comfortable stay for me and my kids. The whole place is very clean including the pool and the gym. I will definitely stay again.

Nice property. Excellent staff. Hard to find! But once found was all good. The gym was hot - need cooler. Rooms clean and safe. Would stay here again!

Property fully renovated, which is a plus. Pool was out of service due to renovations, which was inconvenient. The property is just off of a freeway, which makes it convenient for driving to and from. However, it is noisy if you have a room facing the freeway, and is not convenient if you like to walk or don’t have a car.

Clean property, newly remodeled. Friendly helpful staff and made to order breakfast in the morning. Inner courtyard and pool is relaxing.

A lot of bugs outside given the weather and it's next to this body of water. Found a cockroach in the room.

Decor was nice. Leftover food from previous tenant was still in refrigerator.

I experienced a roach pest in the shower this morning.

The piles of dirty laundry in the north hallway was a bit much. The room became increasingly humid during our stay.

Great place to stay very clean

Didn’t love the bullet hole in the glass of the door or the hair left in the shower. Everything else was fine. Nothing to eat but fast food all around but that’s not the hotels fault.

The beds were uncomfortable and the bathroom was out of body wash. We had to request a refill.

Quiet property, spacious room and nice pool.

Convenient location, quick and easy check-in, they asked for my preference in room location. Everything appeared new and very clean. My only suggestion is the need for a sign at the driveway/entrance. Beautiful pool area and good room amenities with a fridge, coffee maker, and a microwave.

The Wi-Fi was bad, we couldn’t connect to Netflix. The room itself was very nice.

Wonderful customer service at check in!

The WORST experience EVER!!! I have booked the hotel for 2 nights. Unfortunately had an emergency and couldn’t make it to the first night but called and let them know that will be there the next day. William the front desk assured me not to worry and the room will be saved for me since I’ve paid in full for the stay couple months prior. Upon the arrival the unpleasant front lady told us that no it’s not saved and started to give us some BS excuses!!! Basically they collected my money and resold my room to someone else!!! We were left out of the hotel trying to find any place to stay in a very busy sports weekend when all the hotels had no vacancy!!! Unacceptable and frustrating!!!

Had a reservation confirmed through Hotels.com upon checking in the front desk could not find the reservation. I had to make another reservation at check in. Hotels.com refuses to issue a refund. Would not recommend this site for travel.

I gave this experience a lower grade because I got charged $5 for a water bottle that I did not use. I do see a credit on their invoice but the credit has not been applied while the $5 came out of my account.

When we checked in, Brandie was so helpful and so professional. She was cheerful and she gave us so much information! This courtyard Marriott was very satisfactory.

The hotel was clean and nice. The plus is that they have a restaurant/bar on site. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful. We were not familiar with the area and the lady at the front desk gave us options and directions. Her recommendation turned out great. If we are ever in this area again we would stay here.

Hotel is decent, clean. Housekeeping EMTREMELY loud at 8 and 9 am each day, slamming doors while repeatedly going in and out of rooms. Instead of leaving door propped open, it repeatedly slams shut.

Talking just about my experience at this hotel during 5-night my stay. Overall, a good hotel. Staff was nice and proffesional. Check-in was easy. Room was clean. Parking included was a good point when choosing this hotel. I would not give it 5 stars because of the following: 1) missed room cleaning despite we specifically requested it. 2) for the price I feel breakfast should be included as it is with other comparable hotels in the area. 3) when I specifically asked for an invoice during checkout, I was suprised by Wifi charges. I was told I \'chose\' the \'premium\' package. I asked the front desk to show me how I chose such option and the person could not demonstrate how I might\'ve done it. She went through the same steps I did when getting access to their "incldued" wifi network and nowhere does it references a \'premium\' option. I disputed those charges and got them cleared (so make sure you get a written invoice with the balance before you walk out). 4) In my case, I went to Fresno to go to the parks. Although this hotel is conveniently located close to the main highways to the parks, it took me at least 1 1/2 hours to reach them (depending on some landmarks, it sometimes took me 3 hours each way). I think it\'s worth paying a bit more and stay inside a park or close to it (e.g., Yesemitte Village) to avoid loosing so much time driving. That was my bad but mine was a last-minute gateway trip during Labor Day weekend, so I everything close to the parks was booked.

The location was excellent as far as getting to places in the city. We went to a game at Selland Arena and had no trouble getting there in 10 minutes. The hotel is located in an area that is safe and quiet, usually. The only problem was it is in the flight path of an airport and even though it wasn’t continuous there was enough noise to wake me a few times at night. The staff was excellent and accommodating. The rooms were nice and the beds comfortable. Everything was clean and felt new. Aside from the noise the only other downsides were Expedia says there is hot breakfast available for $10 which was not the case and there is no complimentary coffee in the lobby. The coffee in the room was fine, but my husband likes to get up early and go down for coffee without waking me. I can’t remember staying in a hotel recently that didn’t have coffee. You can buy Starbucks at the lobby cafe which is the reason they don’t have free coffee I’m guessing. We will stay here again when we have reason to travel for sports. Just take earplugs and make coffee in your room. Not big sacrifices for the reasonable cost and other advantages of this hotel.

We stayed the fo Move In weekend. Very close to Fresno State. Close to stores. Outside patio area for small gatherings.

Our stay was excellent. It was very quiet and clean. Breakfast was delicious. Every one that I came in contact with was kind and professional. I will stay again on my return trip.

Don’t get the room I had requested, wanted 2 Queens and got some weird hearing disable room. Also the elevator didn’t work and we were on the 3rd floor with a husband who had knee replacement 3 weeks ago. And who doesn’t have complimentary coffee??? Had to buy Starbucks coffee, and no continental breakfast at all.

My only wish is that they had free regular coffee… it seemed like you had to buy everything and I’m used to free continental. I guess I could’ve made my own in the room, but there was no cream and sugar.

We just needed a quick overnight and it was fine. Fortunately we didn’t need any meals or drinks as they were closed for Easter weekend.

This was a very average hotel - non of the upgrades you'd expect from a Marriott. They also noted a BISTRO. It was a counter with pre-made food!

I picked this hotel because it had a bar and restaurant. At 3:00 check in time it’s not open though, so if you arrive hungry you will only have chips or a lean cuisine meal available. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean, but no one had refilled the conditioner bottle in the shower so I had to get out mid shower to grab my own which isn’t ideal. Dinner and breakfast were mediocre. It was just an ok stay.
