The grounds are lovely and relaxing. Unfortunately the jacuzzi was not heated. The pool, though not heated, was a nice swim. Kids enjoyed the ping pong table while we sat under the outdoor Edison lights and I got to crochet. Good variety of sitting spaces to enjoy the garden. The full breakfast was good with enough variety of choices. Eating breakfast on the patio was nice while there was also plenty of space to eat inside. The room was comfortable and clean and four of us were able to sit and enjoy chatting. It's a great location near UCSB and restaurants. Easy on/off highway access. I would stay here again.

There is some construction that limits the parking. There are also a lot of work trucks in the lot that take multiple parking spaces for one truck. Staff was good. Room was ok.

There was construction and workers used up all the packing space. The one bedroom was spacious but had a very could smell- most likely from construction and it was loud with construction all day. Breakfast was the only saving grace.

The hotel is well worth the price. It has EV charging stations, a beautiful garden, and very clean pool. Breakfast was standard American breakfast, with many options. For me, the downsides are 1. beds are too soft. 2. It was very noisy when people dragged their luggage around, especially because we were on the first floor. I got waken up multiple times in the morning because of that.

A nice clean family friendly hotel. The free breakfast, outdoor ping pong table, fire pit tables, and pool/jacuzzi made for a fun and inviting stay. The courtyard was a nice area for the kids to run and play, they especially enjoyed the animal shaped hedges. Can't wait to see what new amenities they'll be putting in (there was construction going on).

I have stayed at this Best Western many times and I am surprised and disappointed at my experience this time. The door to my room would not latch unless I slammed it with great force, the fan in the bathroom was not working, there was an overpowering, cloyingly sweet and unpleasant scent of room air freshener that about knocked me over when I stepped into the room, so strong that the clothes I hung up now smell like that. The AC unit leaked water and the carpet in front of it was saturated. The fridge made a loud rattling sound when the motor turned on. While the bed was comfy, linens were nice and there were lots of pillows, between the smell and the fridge, it was not a good night's sleep. Staff was pleasant and took my complaints about the door, the fan, and the soaked carpet seriously, complimentary breakfast was adequate and the dining area is large and patio/pool area are very pretty. But BW needs to address maintenance in this hotel.

Everything is really dated and run down. I’m shocked at the rating and reviews for what we got. They were kind enough to upgrade us to a larger room at check in hen they saw we had 4 people, which was so nice. But the room was badly renovated at some point. There’s a ton of water damage to the walls which gives me the ick and worry about mold- but no mold was visible. We had tile floor through most of our room, and my kids feet were BLACK after 15 mins post shower from not wearing sandals in the room. Yuck!

We have stayed here before so we did not expect too much. However this time our room had a terrible smell and was dirty. There was black mold in the bathroom and outside by the sink area. The little fridge froze everything. The toilet was running and the shower kept dripping, it could not be turned off all the way. Since it was a busy weekend in Santa Barbara/Goleta area we paid $400 for 1 night. And to top it off the pool that was closed last time we stayed here for renovations, was 'Out of Order', and the employees had no idea why and could not figure it out. Very disappointing experience.

It started bad and got worse: Only 1 car parking allowed when there are tons of empty spaces. This rule was not on our reservation. The dresser: the handle was sticky. The bar where the clothes hanged has white paste on it. The bathtub did not drain, my mom showered in flood of water. We had to take the whole plug out while showing. The air condition make the air damp/mold feeling. We have asthma and could not breath well so we turn it off. It was bad that we did not stay the full 4 days. We lost 1 day due to no refund when scheduling. Will not stay here again. We were thinking of asking to change room but they told us that they were booked when discussed about parking issue. We never saw full parking lots.

Floor if shower absolutely filthy and slimy. I asked front desk staff for cleaning service - they were rude and resistant to get cleaning help. Then breakfast was being shut down at 8:50 - I asked why so early - staff said ‘I don’t speak English’ - so I spoke to her in Spanish and. He simply walked away.

Very nice property in Goleta, CA. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and well-appointed. The hotel has an elevator and provides breakfast. It is also conveniently located near a marketplace. Five stars to this property!

Staff was very friendly, rooms were comfortable and clean. Having a hot breakfast is great. Gets crowded so come early. Our WiFi in the room did not work at all. Had to call some tech support line and they could not figure it out. Router was not accessible to them. Besides that, a very good two night stay.

Check in was not so good. Front desk gave me keys and wrote the room number on the sleeve. I drove around, parked, unloaded my luggage and went to the room number written in the sleeve. The key did not work in the door and I recognized that room was not facing the pool as booked. I had to walk around and check my key in every door until I got access to my room.

I really like this hotel. It's close to SBCC and UCSB where my son attends. I've stayed here 3 times in the last year. My one and only issue is you have to ask for house keeping. They don't automatically do it anymore. This place is getting a 3 this time because the person at the front desk didn't bother to ask me if I wanted it. I feel that's just a given and part of good customer service. And you have to ask the night before. Don't all in the morning they won't do it. Frankly the person on the phone was a bit glib about it. Now I know if I stay there again.

The lady that checked me in was very kind and helpful after a day of sitting in the airport and delays she was still there when I checked out and she was so kind to give me a pastry and piece of fruit as I had a very early flight out on Christmas morning. I wish I had gotten her name.

I asked for room cleaning the second day for the next day but didn’t get it even though they said ok. So no room cleaning or fresh towels for four days. The last day they knocked and actually tried to enter early and I wasn’t dressed! Don’t they know to wait until someone checks out or leaves the room? Hotel front desk was not very friendly-kinda cold. Breakfast bar scene was piraña-like. Everyone got anxious because they ran out of some food items on the crowded morning of July 4. No bagels or danish. Construction is ongoing with a new elevator and our second floor room had a view of earth-moving equipment parked in the lot next to the hotel. Finally, when I came home it looked like I had been double-charged for the room on my credit card! I called and they said to monitor it for a few days and it should adjust but honestly, why does it show twice?

The front desk staff rude and unprofessional Cristina M who is a manager there charged us one night $ almost $400 . First she said $100 security fee. But my account was charged $400. I told her we already paid on Expedia website. He responds was too bad. Not my fault, someone else made a mistake. I am extremely disappointed and it was very unprofessional the way she treated me and my husband.

Very nice front desk personnel, room was clean and spacious, also I needed help with my car battery after checking out and the maintenance person Helped me get started. Actually he saved our day think his name was Pat ? I will stay here again and recommend it to others!

Property is nice, clean , rooms are clean ,renovated average size. Staff is unprofessional front desk person was on her personal cell phone while helping fix issue i had with my key card. Breakfast is average. Ends at 10am and staff at 10am is shutting it down whole people are serving them selves. My biggest complaint about property is customer service from staff.

The best place to stay in Goleta without breaking the bank. And the free breakfast! It's a good decent breakfast that will feed a busy family. I've stayed at other Best Westerns and this location is the BEST breakfast. Also the location is walking distance from grocery stores and restaurants.. and two min drive to the freeway. Stay here. You won't regret it!

We love the landscape, pool, jacuzzi and pool table. Staff are very friendly also. Didn\'t like that breakfast was the same items everyday. We stayed for 3 days and never a new item. Also there was a draft coming through our door on the side and bottom letting a lot of cold air in and the smell of a skunk one night. Had to use a towel to try to stop the flow of air at the bottom of the door. Lastly house keeping knocked on our door at least 3 times every morning during our stay before check out. There were no "do not disturb" door signs to hang to try to avoid this. Housekeeping carts are also extremely loud as they travel along the way.

The room was clean and comfortable. Service, particularly the front desk, was very good. The landscaping around the patio and pool has a great variety of plants, palms and flowers. It is beautiful and well maintained. The breakfast set-up is attractive and well arranged, and there is a wide variety. The food itself is a mix. The eggs are powdered and the bacon is synthetic. Other items, such as bagels, yogurt and pancakes are good.

Nice property with good size, clean rooms. Breakfast is not that great. Their coffee machine didn’t work for half of our stay and is switched on only during breakfast hours. They should have coffee available all the time in the lobby area, like their other hotels. Also, please look into getting EV charging on property. That would be a great crowd puller !

This property actually surprised me in a good way! Staff were very friendly, rooms were fully equipped with a fridge and microwave, beds were comfortable, shower was clean and had nice shampoo, soap, conditioner. Definitely renovated in a good way. Breakfast also was included and had many hot items with a variety. Was able to sit outside on patio chairs to eat breakfast while enjoying the weather. Great location which was close to the airport and many restaurants to pick from in the area. Highly recommend!

Rooms are clean, staff is very courteous and friendly, and the breakfast is good. When we stayed there, the breakfast scene was mayhem due to the holiday, but the staff kept their cool, slowed down to answer questions, and kept the food coming. It was greatly appreciated.
