The resort is absolutely beautiful! From the spacious rooms to all of the kid-friendly activities..this is 5-star resort! We stayed here for 3 nights and our family enjoyed smores every evening, magic show, a live hawk show, and did I mention this was all complimentary? The gym had a variety of equipment in excellent condition. You can sign up for a yoga session in the morning... what better way to start your day. There are also bikes on resort that you can use for a family ride. Lastly, the staff was very friendly!

I loved it first time in Palm Springs needed a break the resort has had everything you really didn’t have to leave the property and central to most areas. A bit of a ways from downtown and the airport. The staff was friendly and helpful just a really good time and great amenities and it was nice activities were included in the fees. Will definitely be back.

The pool was huge. The water was like bath water. Loved it. The room was beautiful! Was like a mini suite! Staff was attentive! Restaurants were unique, but the pizza was excellent at "The Place" restayrant. Take an adventure and give this place a try!

We stayed three days and the last day was bad. They closed the pool to trim the palm trees and they were not finished till 2pm! That ruined are whole day. Why didn’t they do a section at a time over several days? If not for this I would have given 5 stars. Very disappointed on our last day.

Average pools, max depth is 3 ft. Pools are clean and spacious, but not much for kids to do - other than the beach-sand area, no slides no nothing. Everything costs additionally in this hotel. The kids camp was extra charges for simple activities like castle building. Food is pretty terrible. Pizza was definitely a freezer one, not made fresh. The 10 or so private meeting rooms, although completely empty, they wanted to charge me for trying to take an hour meeting with my team remotely. So, no private spaces to do some work, unless you pay more money. Parking was $28/day. Gym was nice and clean. Kids loved the foosball and ping pong tables. Staff was good but a couple of people at reception area were not very welcoming. All in all, not a place to return a second time for the price and all the extra things they charge for.

The hotel room was very nice. The bed and bedding were comfortable. The area around the pool, near the lounge chairs was dirty with trash left from patrons. Overall good experience if your on a budget.

Overall property is ok. Pools can be updated. A majority of the room doors face the atrium. There is a bar on the ground floor and the noise travels. It was noisy until midnight. Probably would be better for the hotel to find another spot for it.

This is a decent property. The rooms are very nice although it would be nice to have chairs on the balcony. This is a very family-friendly hotel, which was fine when I had young kids. Lots of kids are running around. Did not like having to carry my key to enter the pool as you have to exit the pool to use to restrooms. Valet and self parking are ridiculously expensive.

This is a lovely property. The rooms have all been updated and are tasteful, large and comfotable. The bathrooms large and the shower terrific. Beds and linens topnotch. Unfortunately, the walls are thin and we could hear our neighbors who woke us up for two mornings and during the afternoon. The staff are amazing - friendly,warm and competent. The bakery is excellent especially for a light breakfast - the only thing missing is fresh orange juice (which they also did not have in the restaurant.) The Restaurant "Cava" is OK - servers are excellent, especially Oskar and Verigin. But the food is hit and miss - some dishes very good, others, not so. The sushi in "The Place" is excellent. Major problem is that they allow smoking on the patio outside theplace and we were driven away by the cigar smoke which also drifts onto the pool deck so that we had to move chairs because of the odor. We were very surpised thatbtis is not a non-smking facility as we have not been in ahotel with smokers for a very long time. Finally, music is played incessantly - in the restaurant (we could not hear our converation on eevening) and around the pool. It should be quiet music and lower if at all. The grounds are lovely but there is nthing within walking distance.

The Wi-Fi at this hotel was dreadful. It sent me back in my work so much. This was all from lack of connectivity in my room. I don’t think for this price I should have to go down to the lobby to find better Wi-Fi. Renaissance Esmeralda, you can do better!!

My favorite staycation getaway only 2 1/2 hours from home. Everything about the Renaissance Esmeralda is perfect . The staff, the amenities, and the pool are all wonderful. We had the most beautiful room overlooking the property with a balcony that was larger than most. This is such a fun weekend getaway, close to many restaurants, shops and entertainment!

The front desk women including the manager were absolutely despicable. The ladies kept hanging up on me. They didn't have the pool view I paid for so they gave us a handicap room. The most disrespectful service ever! The prices are too high for the rude service you are going to get. They are always claiming to be renovating and never have anything you pay for. We have been coming here for years but their service and the food is bad now. They need a management change or we will never set foot in this place again.

I was greatly disappointed by my stay here. I expected much more from a resort. My first 24 hours and introduction to the hotel was filled with blatant racism and disrespect from the valet to the breakfast dining staff. It took a phone call to their Director of Operations, John, to calm me down and address my deeply rooted concerns. By the end of my stay, I was grateful for Armond in the Spa who treated me like a human being from the very beginning. He is the kindest soul. Lydia at Cava (the breakfast dining space) was also kind and checked in with me both mornings. She could see I was visibly upset and I reviewed the hotel on expedia as it was all happening. I should have recorded it on my phone. I did not appreciate Ruby for her nastiness, prejudice assumptions, and arrogance. When I tried to explain to how her treatment made me feel, she told me it wasn't her job to do anything, The hell it isn't. I paid for resort style treatment. I might as well have stayed eleshwere. I never had this happen and I won't return to see if it will improve. Life is too short. My Black dollars will go to another establishment. Palm Springs is full of places to visit. I would not recommend this after my stay. I appreciate John listening and hearing me cry out of pain, but it doesn't excuse the treatment nor will it keep me from sharing my story. Word of mouth is how Black folks survived. I will not be silenced by my pain and I will not be shamed for having melanin producing skin!

It felt like we were constantly hunting down a staff member or waitress to receive service. At the pool, we witnessed multiple parties receive service during opening hours so after half an hour I finally walked up to the bar which defeat the entire purpose of the pool/food service, and solely for the reason we came for some major much needed relaxation. It was our first vacation in 10 years together so we’re looking forward to being treated by the service staff without asking but we constantly felt ourselves advocating for ourselves to receive service from staff.

This hotel is nostalgic for me- I used to come as a kid, and now I bring my family and kids here. It is beautiful and the rooms have all been redone and upgraded beautifully. The valet guys are on top of it- incredibly hospitable and helpful and friendly. Also, Cuco at the pool was so kind. Beds are cozy and the property is well kept as always. However both nights we ate at the hotel the staff was completely lost. Food took over an hour both times and came out cold and overall unexciting. I also didn’t love that room service charges a delivery fee. Also, we found out that you can reserve VIP chairs online- I sure wish the front desk let us know about this upon check in. Over all I will always love this hotel and will continue to come here but I really hope to see some improvement in the restaurants/ kitchens.

While the property was nice and the pool area and room itself was nice, there was a lot of fees that weren’t mentioned on the website when I booked the rooms and the staff members weren’t very nice or helpful, for starters when I booked the rooms it said “free WiFi” but when we got there and used the paper that was on the bed to sign into the WiFi it wanted us to pay $15 per day per device just for WiFi, when I brought this up to the front desk they told us they were unsure of what was going on and couldn’t provide any help so we just didn’t use the WiFi, secondly there was no mention about having to pay for parking each day it’s $28 per day to park at the resort and If you don’t use your room key when entering or exiting the parking lot it will be $28 each time to enter or leave not for the whole day so expect to pay atleast $28 a day just to park, the hotel staff was very rude when we asked for new towels and when we asked for a later checkout they acted like it was an inconvenience for them.

Stayed for one night and had a very pleasant time. Room was cute and very clean, and the hotel was lovely in a great location. This is a family friendly resort but an adults only would be nice. Someones baby did a #2 in the large main pool, and it was unfortunately closed for a bit to be cleaned in the 105° heat and windy weather. Otherwise would definitely stay again and would highly recommend!

Very nice resort. All the staff were friendly. We liked the wood flooring in our bedrooms and the beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were clean but were only stocked with one face towel per bathroom while we had 3 people per room. The pool was great but service for drinks and food were slow. They seemed overwhelmed, maybe because it was a Saturday. The breakfast buffet at Cava was wonderful. Overall we had a great time.

The property was decent but overpriced, likely due to Coachella. The signature massage was great but extremely overpriced, nearly double Miami spa prices. Our first room faced a parking garage; after complaining, we got a slightly better one overlooking a noisy golf course construction site. The pool restaurant menu was limited and underwhelming. Friendly staff, excellent pool, and beautiful property. The DIY juice bar at breakfast blew my mind, to be honest. I’ve never seen that before. This is a fave of mine and my husband’s. We stay here at least once or twice a summer.
