We stayed one night but it was wonderful. Quiet, clean and the two pools are great. They have room service but very expensive but very delicious. Loved having a balcony to watch the boats come around. Would love to stay again!

The nightly rate of $450-up plus a $48 resort fee plus four other fee's and CA taxes made one nights stay over $632!! This is not the Ritz Carlton or Four Seasons. You can't swim in the lake. The rooms are clean and have all you need but small. One coffee shop with $7-$8 coffee? Pontoon boat and kayak rentals was a great ideal! Everyone who works here are the SWEETEST! Two pools great ideal but towel fee silly. Shout out to Audrey at the Pool, she made our visit amazing!! We had 106 people for a wedding, she was wonderful with everyone, all-ages. The local restaurant has good food. Everything in resort shuts down at 9pm. Amalfi restaurant next to resort but very pricey with $48-up entrees. Great place but too expensive for families or people on a budget.

The room was very spacious and overlooking the lake! The balcony had comfortable Adirondak style chairs. Such a beautiful resort. We went to the driving range for a quick practice bucket which was included in our stay. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The on-site bar/restaurant was easy to walk to and had great food and a live band on Friday night!

Very nice stay everything was wonderful a bit crowded in the area only because it was Memorial Dsy weekend . The resort was outstanding . I felt bad for the staff cause people are disrespectful and leave towels and food and drinks by the pools and camp out all daywith no courtesy to others waiting to use the Jacuzzi. We recently stayed at the lake house for the second time and had another stellar visit! My husband and I traveled with our two young children and our room was large, clean and had everything we needed! We enjoyed the pool, the fire pits with the s’mores kits and activities on the lake, of course! My husband and my son also really enjoyed the bucket of balls included at the driving range! This location is a total gem and we will be back again for sure!

Beautiful property. Amenities provided in the resort fee were neat but I'm not sure if the cost is worth it if you don't utilize the amenities. So in other words, use them. The spring weather wasn't the brightest to use the paddle boards or kayaks. It didn't appear anybody was out there. So it's okay. The graham crackers in our smores kit were cracked. It would be helpful to have paper plates/bowls handy to keep it clean or even a little aluminum pan- you can melt the chocolate and use the cracked graham crackers to dip. The gym is a bit run down but was sufficient to get an indoor circuit in. Pickleball/tennis courts were clean and had no trouble getting the rentals/court reserved to play at the lodge. Same with the bicycles up front in the lobby or the basket of golf balls at the driving range- had no trouble enjoying those amenities. Main pools were nice and the towel dispenser was neat. I stayed in a Lake view room with balcony. There was a nice tea light candle provided on a table near the sliding door. I think some citronella oils would be nice to provide or have out on the balconies in tiki torches or something. Overall, a nice, comfortable stay. Good location, not far from shops or other restaurants/coffee shops or movie theater.

Our room upon arrival was dirty. The carpet had not been vacuumed, the side tables were sticky with a ring of something, our coffee maker didn’t work and they never replied to our request to fix it. Stains on the carpet, it just looked and felt dirty . There was a huge event in the area and no parking. We had to park in a residential area and walk to the resort. Would not recommend or stay here again

The property itself was very good, the amenities were very well maintained at a great location and the staff friendly. However, we had bedbugs in our room and I woke up to multiple clusters of bites on my legs. I would have expected a resort property this well maintained to have been clean and bug-free.

It was our second time here and this time with our son. We booked the premier lake view room on the second floor. It has a balcony but we are unable to go to the balcony since there are plenty of insects flying around. And the balcony looks like it hasnt been cleaned in a while. The chairs are so dusty. The first time we were here we stayed on the first floor premier lake view and it was a lot better. They still offer the free 1 hour kayak.

The location is old and weathered. The rooms smell damp and ours was dirty. Used band aids on the carpet, dirt on bathroom counter, NO ELEVATOR S, and no actual vent in the bathroom. Just a few of the issues. FOUR PM check in due to the "cleaning staff needs" what needs? The place was dirty! For the price they charged, the place should have been spotless and many more amenities available. Stand up paddle boarding or kayaking in 50 degree weather? I'll never stay here again.

We’ve stayed in this hotel many times. Over the years we’ve seen a decline in cleanliness, service and overal conditions. This time the room didn’t get cleaned once, two times we had to go to the front desk because not everything was replaced. We picked up towels of the floor , bought stuff for the little kitchen ourselves (one plate, no spoons, one glass for the whole cottage), because at some point we couldn’t even be bothered anymore. Front desk personnel correctly empathetic, but didn’t really care. We would receive a (small) discount (about 50 dollars), even that was forgotten. Definitely not the standard it used to be anymore…(and no, i can’t blame them for the 4(!!) police cars that showed up at the property one evening. Not a clue what happened, and don’t want to know. Had plans to return this summer and needed two cottages for that, but we will definitely be looking for another place 🙄

We stayed in the pool view king room. The room was small with such low ceilings. My husband (who is 5’8” hit his arm on the ceiling trying to take his shirt off ! How is someone taller gonna stay in this room. There was barely any room to navigate through with our things. The bathroom was so small with the toilet being so close to the shower exit my towel dipped into the toilet, while trying to wrap my hair ! The water pressure in the sink was literally non existent even at the strongest setting. I can barely even wash my hands cause there’s barely any water coming out. The thermostat was either too stuffy or really cold. When we set it to 69 degrees the room got stuffy and 68 it would be freezing ! The headboard and bedside lamps were very dusty. I stayed here once almost five years ago and had a very different experience. The staff were not particularly welcoming but that really didn’t bother me. Probably will consider staying somewhere else next time in the area.

1 night is not enough. Not sure if it’s because it’s the Christmas season but our stay was magical! Check in experience was fantastic. Front desk was thorough in what the resort fee includes and they even provided a refreshing spiked Arnold Palmer. The resort is quiet but vibrant. Our king size mattress was so comfortable. We originally booked a night but extended our stay as we had an amazing time and didn’t want to leave. We’ve already discussed making this our vacation spot anytime we need a quick getaway.

Room was pretty nice except for the ridiculously loud ac. It seemed like all the rooms were noisy and even throughout the complex, like at the pools, the sound from all the units' AC was pervasive. The pools had these weird fountains that I suspect were only there to help mask the noise. Also, even though the Expedia price said all fees included the was a $40/ night "resort fee". We would have booked elsewhere had we knew that in advance

Beautiful room, large & updated. Facing the pool, was loud until quiet hours. Very family friendly so lots of kids. Overall it was nice, but the mattress was terrible. We called it “ the taco bed” because it was so soft and just forced us to roll into the middle and sink. It was not a comfortable night sleep. I’d stay again if the mattress were new.

The weather was bad, so we were unable to take advantage of the recreation activities. The carpet in our room was very old and had an unpleasant smell (possibly from smoking). It was really noisy, and we were woken up early by loud music on Saturday and Sunday. There are no usb ports to charge devices either, so we had to buy charging blocks. The shower was nice but 1ply toilet paper...seriously. I am not trying to sound like a snob, but for the price we paid for the room I expected more. Also, parking is tough because there is a nice restaurant next door and the people who don't want to pay to valet or walk a longer distance just park in the resort lot. We could have stayed at the Marriott nearby for half the price and it had the same rating of Excellent that this place had. The place is fine, but for the price, as I said, we just expected more.

So close but no cigar... I say this because the reception staff could have made a bigger impact knowing this was my 1st stay. They could have educated me about what is included in my stay, where to go for activities, how to sign up up, etc.. etc.. but they failed miserably. I had to discover them for myself and missed out on fun activities after the fact. The only staff that cared more about me and my well visit was the pool staff. I found the grounds to be in great condition and free of litter but I was quite surprised by the lack of care to the carpet in my room as it seemed quite dirty and stained. The room really needed some upgrades to bring it into the age of electronics. It just seemed a little lacking but if you overlook these things, it was an peaceful place to stay.

Property was nice, but was downgraded from a king cottage to double queen room because of overbooking and wasn’t told about it. Tried to only pass off waiving the resort fee instead of about $50 instead of the $200 from the downgrade at first. Had to call them out twice to get them to give the refund. Hopefully this doesn’t happen to anyone else staying here.

The restaurants were awesome. Friendly staff too. Overall great stay. I would stay there again. Only complaint... A couple hotel staff members didn't have the best response to a couple requests made. They were kind of rude about it with a smile on their face if you know what I mean.

I spent a little more money for a Lakeview room. For me it made a big difference to be able to sit out on the balcony and look over the water. Kayaks and paddle boards are offered and you could rent other watercraft to explore the lake. They have a golf course and there is a clubhouse with a restaurant where we had breakfast and it was very good. There is an excellent restaurant adjacent to the property called Amalfi and we had dinner there the first night. There isn’t much else around the property. But it’s a quick drive to so many restaurants and there are a lot of things to do in the surrounding area. It’s all very nice and I would definitely come back.

Hotel was clean and comfortable; we loved the fire pits at night. The view was beautiful, and my kids loved the kayaks. The area is nice with lots to do, very close to Legoland and not a bad drive to the San Diego Zoo. We would definitely stay again.

Great resort that has been updated. Seems like a place that would offer happy hour in the lobby. The breakfast choices at the coffee shop were not good. Mostly heat and serve from Costco. The restaurant is not on the grounds. It was a nice 10 -15 min walk. It looks great but was closed because of a water issue.

Went kayaking on the lake with my daughter....fabulous two night stay. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever experienced. The pool and hot tub area is close to a highend resort experience....very nice! Also, good staff, courteous. I will definitely come back. Oh, also the restaurant by the marina was great...yummy food with view on the lake!

It was fabulous we have to go again and stay on the lake. I have to say though we ordered room service. The fish and chip was all soggy so it was not great. My baked chicken was not cooked well enough and I was afraid to eat it. But we had breakfast in the dining area and it was quite good.

We love staying here! The rooms and hallways could use a little TLC, but the staff and grounds are just incredible. The lake is gorgeous. Both restaurants are incredible. The pools and hot tubs are clean and inviting. This was our third time staying, and we will definitely stay again!
