Elegant hotel in the middle of Beverly Hills. Great views from the balcony, lovely area to walk around in, safe and quiet. The rooms are a little small for a family to stay in. The pool is also on the smaller side, but nice. Derek behind the front desk is very helpful and absolutely lovely.

Excellent food & service in restaurant. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and nice views. On site parking very expensive. Hand towels and washcloths were not replaced 2 days in a row. Had to call housekeeping or front desk.

Convenient location in Beverly Hills, only a 10 minute walk down the road to Rodeo Drive. Rooms were very spacious and the pool area was lovely with bar service which was an added bonus.

I recently stayed here on a business trip for seven days and am absolutely thrilled with my experience at Cameo. I ordered room service most days because of my work schedule and the food was terrific. The staff was incredibly friendly, thoughtful, polite, and attentive. I chose to stay here because it was much more economical for such a long stay and only a short Uber drive to Century City, where I was working for the week. I would definitely choose to stay here again. The views of Beverly Hills were fantastic. I enjoyed the complimentary coffee on my deck and got to enjoy the view and the quiet every morning. The room was beautiful and I loved the aesthetic. The bed was comfortable as were the pillows. The restroom area was clean and roomy. I especially loved the vanity set which I did use to do my makeup and hair every morning. The only slight criticism I might have is that the pool was not heated and on the days that I was there, it was not as hot so having a heated pool would’ve been terrific so on my one day off from work, I would’ve been able to enjoy that amenity. However, that wouldn’t stop me from staying again. I look forward to my next trip out there.

There was a big flying around in the room. The entire floor smelled like urine for some reason. Staff was friendly but the facility wasn’t up to standard. Coming from five star hotel definitely should be better. Also getting into the room they took a while for us to get our room. I won’t be staying here again and if I were you guys spend your money elsewhere.

Room was dirty and hygienically unsafe. We had to be moved to a room we didn’t select and ended up with a king size bed when we booked a double queen room. Had to get a small bed brought up to room. Not a good experience, and even though I called Expedia they wouldn’t compensate us and the hotel wouldn’t either. After we use our next few reservations, we will be cancelling our account and will not use Expedia in the future. This message probably won’t even be read.

Location was very close to the places we wanted to visit. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Staff was wonderful. My room was a nice size and bed was comfortable. I did not like that there wasn’t someplace I could hang my robe or clothes in the bathroom. The lighting in the room could definitely be improved. The hallways to your room need to be updated. When I stepped off the elevator, I was greeted with a very stinky smell like dog pee. The carpet in the hall was dirty and and torn and also smelled like dog pee. When you walked into your room you felt like it was a completely different hotel because it was clean and airy. If you don’t care about the condition of the hallways, then you should be able to have a lovely stay.

Room wasn't clean. Dust everywhere, room doors were loud when closing, so you could hear other people entering or exiting their rooms. Place has a beautiful view. But i wouldn't book this hotel again.

We had a nice stay - stayed in 2 different rooms. Our first room had some problems related to cleanliness and some of the appliances not working properly. Our second room did not have these problems, but our view was obstructed because they were painting during our stay and so there was a plastic sheet covering the view from the balcony. Would stay there again despite these one time issues. Thank you!

Overall pleasant stay HOWEVER room for improvement … We stayed on the seventh floor (707 and then 708) Twice we were locked out of the room 707 / electronic key was not working and needed replacement Room 707 had some problems. The base board next to the bed was dusty / needed a proper cleaning. The shower water had a bad smell One of the pumps in the shower was broken (body wash) The latch to the bathroom door was not properly secured and kept coming off. We moved to Room 708 across the hall on Monday, which was a much better room. However, they were doing construction or painting outside so our view was totally obstructed by plastic for the remainder of our stay.

Check in was 3:00. We got there a little early and waited for our room to be cleaned. 3:30 rolled around and we asked the front desk when our room will be done. He said they were finished cleaning but an inspection has to be done. Waited for another 15 minutes and asked how long does an inspection take. He said they have only 1 inspector for the entire hotel. By 4:00 we finally was able to get to our room. The next morning at 7:00, protestors were banging drums and chanting through loud speakers outside the hotel. Other than that, it’s a nice, comfortable hotel.

We gave this hotel a 4/5 because while it was in a nice location and views are gorgeous, our air conditioning was out two nights out of the 5 we stayed. Considering it was in the 80’s and 90’s half of our trip, you can imagine how uncomfortable the room got at night. I had to complain and push for some time solution sooner than later because they originally told me it would take 3 days for it to be repaired and that isn’t going to work on a 5 day stay. They got it fixed but then it went out again on our last night. So the rating is high because if it weren’t for that the stay would have been near perfect except for the slightly inconvenient valet service. It’s expensive and not helpful when you want to be in and out quick. The AC being out was just a huge negative. I would stay again if I knew that was working.

I would give it 2.5. The view is outstanding. The service is great. The room is mediocre at best. There are zero amenities and they do not tell you that there is a $400 incidental charge when you check in and they keep $12-$16 per night after what they charged your card for some reason or another. The valet is great. It’s a little pricey at $77 a night but it is 24 seven so that really convenient. The room does not have a coffee pot. It does not have a microwave. It does not have a refrigerator our room had a beautiful balcony, but no chairs so you couldn’t sit outside. There’s no coffee in the morning so that’s not convenient and everything on the menu is just ridiculously expensive.

this hotel is very confusing, the way it is run is unusual compared to any other hotel. I have been to in the worst of ways. Check in was easy however, right when I was completed they slipped and that there was a $45 resort fee. I asked per night ?No per day!!! I said I’ve never heard such a thing except in Vegas and even there it is not $45 a day. The agent explained that $35 of that is credited towards food and beverage. I hesitantly said OK but then after I checked into my room, it was nawing at me especially since I had all my meals planned off property with friends I am vegan and don’t drink ! I went down to the front desk to explain that I wasn’t comfortable with this additional price and that for the additional price I would’ve just booked a better hotel. They obliged and took the charge off my bill. my hot water didn’t work in my room maintenance. Tried to fix it for over an hour which sent me behind for the event that I was going for because I have then had to check into another room. The whole escapade took a couple of hours, however, the room they gave me was slightly better. They say there’s coffee down in the lobby at u till 10 am two out of the five days it wasn’t available. The restaurant although I didn’t eat, there was weird cold, and like a cafeteria the gym was well equipped. The biggest fail for me is my last day I asked for a wake up call for a meeting I had and THEY FAILED TO CALL!! I missed my meeting. It was extremely embarrassing!FAIL!!!!!

There continues to be a protest against the hotel ever morning from 7am until late in the evening. Be prepared to be woken up with a megaphone. We stayed for 6 night and 3 of those nights housekeeping missed doing our room and we did not have any towels. The only good service you will experience is from the valet. I would look around for other hotels in the area.

It is difficult to describe the terrible experience I had at a NO 5 star hotel. Since arriving after 3 pm room was not ready. We book via Expedia, error because the hotel says that why they can’t give the request. We call the property previous our arrival for the requested type of room, they confirmed . Once arrived no room ready, no requested room… they said after one hr waiting that was what they had. Rooms were not connected, no close to each, both king size bed (we ask for one king one double, one was accessible room for disabled) Housekeeping once even left all dirty sheets in our suitcase! Jareth, who said was the manager, spoke at us like Dory from Nemo. Whole conversation making fun of us and always sarcastic. He even timed for how long we argued. We spent the worst five nights and every time you get close to front desk people were complaining. No worth a penny Do not stay there It is no way a 5 star hotel

The hotel was just ok nothing special. For the price we paid it should have been much better and cleaner. We stayed there 3 nights but the first night we barely slept as the air conditioner unit made such a loud noise outside the hallway that we could not sleep at all. The pillows were also uncomfortable. There were 4 people in the room 2 adults and 2 children and they only gave us 3 towels. We asked fir more towels but they didn\'t come until the next day. The day of check out we had to pay an addition $125 for some kind of "hidden spa fee" which included the use of the pool of which we never used. I guess they forgot its November and the temperatures drop. When we stayed there in was in the low 60\'s. I don\'t think it worth staying here and definitely will not be returning.

The whole staff that I interacted with was extremely polite, super nice and very respectful. It was a great experience and I will stay there anytime I’m back in that area. I even got a late check out complementary since my flight got in so late the day of check-in. I highly recommend this place to anybody coming to LA or Beverly Hills!

We stayed here for part of our honeymoon- we had a balcony on city side and views did not disappoint. It’s worth noting there is no fridge/microwave in the suite. Overall, our stay was wonderful. Location was about 15/20 minute walk to stores and restaurants. We felt super safe in the area. The local restaurants close at 10 so if you are looking for a night life, you will have to taxi some where further. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean. Well worth the price we paid.

We had a great experience at Cameo. The hotel is quiet and we felt very safe, which is always a top priority. I thought the property was quite well maintained and it didn't feel rundown to me at all. It is walkable to Rodeo Drive which was nice since we were taking so many Ubers to get elsewhere in the city. The bed was very comfortable and the room smelled noticeably clean when we walked in. Front desk staff is nice. I did ask that a second chair be brought up for use on the balcony since there were two of us in the room who wanted to enjoy sitting outside together, but it never arrived. I also didn't realize until we had housekeeping come on our second day that the room was not fully equipped with towels when we arrived; we did not receive hand towels or a shower mat until that day. I also wish the rooms came standard with a mini fridge; I've seen from comments here that fridges can be requested but I was not informed of that. Room service was good, but the on site restaurant is a bit pricy. Overall would recommend for anyone who wants to stay in Beverly Hills!

I highly recommend this hotel! It is located in a quiet part of town to escape the high energy of LA, but it is close enough to conveniently get to West Hollywood, Rodeo Drive, Santa Monica, etc! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Valet is quick and easy.

Obviously, the hotel is being renovated or under new ownership. When I first arrived, you entered two doors and there’s no indication where you go to check in. There are two clear options, Lobby Bar or Restaurant. The woman at the bar, before I could ask, said “No, down the hall.” Once I located the check in counter, the checking in process was a non-issue. My room was okay and I would describe it as dated and rickety. Beware that there is no coffee maker in the room. It definitely did not feel like a luxury hotel. Dining - For dinner, I went to the hotel restaurant. I went down around 6-6:30 pm. No staff was in sight. There was one patron sitting at the bar. I decided to sit a few seats away from them. I sat for what felt like 10 minutes and the m sure was on 5-6 without one staff member coming out to check on the customer or see if anyone new had come in. Almost to the point of me choosing to leave and find dinner elsewhere. Finally, a bartender came out and I was able to look at a menu and order food. The food was fine.

The only thing i didnt like was that the rooms did not have a mini fridge or coffee maker. The bar area downstairs did have coffee and tea each morning to offset not having a machine in the room.
