The parking is super expensive- the exit system did't accept the room key ( i paid the parking fees at the hotel)- I had to come back to the hotel lobby 2 times from the parking lot for resolving the issue-the parking assistant at the valet parking was rude - I was about to miss my morning flight!

The pool was absolutely filthy. There was dirt at the bottom both days we were there and it was never cleaned either in the morning or in the evening when the pool was closed. There was a drinking cup floating in the pool for over 5 hours.

Pros: 1) The rooms in this hotel are a nice size and the beds and pillows are comfortable. 2) There are a lot of amenities that one could take advantage of, including a large pool and plenty of dining options. 3) The staff are very friendly and provide excellent customer service. Cons: 1) The lobby and elevators are extremely busy all the time. 2) The parking (self) is $70 a day (half the price of a room). It is also designed so you can use your key to get in and out but the hotel staff do not inform you of this or remind you to take your key with you when you check out so you can actually leave the lot. 3) The place is designed in a confusing way, with the pool and gym on floor 1 and the lobby on floor 2. I witnessed multiple people trying to get to the lobby only to end up at the pool floor because the floor 1 button has a star on it even though it’s not the lobby (?). Last piece of advice: Try to not get an accessible room if you do not need one. The accesible room doors open automatically with a motion sensor and then WILL NOT CLOSE for 20 or 30 seconds, meaning you can not a) walk by the door sensor while you are in the room without opening the door; or b) be in a rush and try to leave your room quickly because the door stays open for what feels like an eternity and you can not force it closed. It makes you wait there. Note: They eventually did come and turn off this feature for me.

Overall this hotel was great. Check in was great. The room was clean and updated. There were some kind of pipes running off and on all night long. It was like someone was taking a shower. It started about 11:00 and went until the 5:00-6:00 in the morning. It was so loud, we did not sleep at all. It was the worst night sleep.

Caveat: I arrived late and left early, so I didn't get the complete hotel experience. The bed was very comfortable. The door to the room was so heavy it was awkward to go in and out with luggage, or even with anything in my free hand. I enjoyed my Starbucks breakfast, but was slightly disappointed not to have a breakfast included. The bar staff were friendly and helpful. The bar prices, on the other hand, struck me as high.

We live in LA but stay near the airport the night before flights a lot-and have experienced several hotels on Century Blvd over the years. We prefer The Marriott best. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, The hotel is modern and clean and the food & room service speedy and above acceptable taste. However, the rooms are not at all sound proof. Child above ours running around all night and could hear clearly. Ugh. Of course street side you’ll hear airplanes taking off but the interior rooms facing pool much quieter from airport noise. Shuttle to airport frequent and drivers jovial. Every time. We will be back

Only complaint was the room wifi, maybe because i was on the lower 1st floor, not sure but I noticed both in my room, as well as the public lobby wifi would never connect to my laptop for work, so I had to go elsewhere for important work items to be completed. That was the only minus which was a hassle.

Checking in took way too long . There should be a guest service desk separate from checking in , there were multiple people who who were at the check in desk requesting WiFi and other stuff and they were there for minutes while a line of people were waiting to just check in and go to their room . I booked my room through Expedia and they told me what I had to pay for a deposit , I ended up having to pay triple the amount for the deposit upon arriving which I was not told about beforehand . The place is awesome but it shouldn’t take 30 minutes to check in , when some people are going up just for questions. and a deposit should clearly be stated weather it’s through a second party or not

I just stayed for 1 night. In the morning there wasn’t ANYBODY to help us checking out! My bill was wrong and they double charged me the parking even when I self parked and nobody was there to help. It’s unbelievable in such a huge hotel! I called customer service and was told they would call me back and they didn’t. My first and last time staying in there! Is a TOTAL ABUSE!

Took 40 minutes to check in as only one person checking a long line in - staff standing around, very unhelpful. The price of drinks at the bar were outrageous. Bathroom was dirty, called housekeeping 6 times - no answer - called front desk 6 times - no answer. Will never stay there again.

The hotel is well maintained and the shuttle pick up from the airport was very convenient. But the long wait at check in was ridiculous with just 1 person at the front desk. It took 20 minutes before additional people arrived to assist. There should always be at least 3 front desk operators at all times to greet customers and to quickly get all checked in quickly.

The hotel itself is great. I had a conference here, otherwise it may not have been a top choice just because I like to walk in the neighborhood and there is less to walk to here since you are by the airport. However, if you need to stay near the airport, then this is an excellent option.

We loved this hotel. The bed was comfortable. The shower in the bathroom was great, and there was a lot of counter space. The room had good shelf space for suitcases. The food in all the restaurants, although expensive, was great. The staff is helpful and efficient. The lounge areas are quite comfortable also. We’d definitely stay here again.

Excellent staff. Alex and the crew made this stay so special for my daughter, who was celebrating her birthday. The hospitality of everyone there is exceptional and the food at JW Steakhouse is spectacular. The pool area is beautiful and relaxing and the in-house Starbucks is a big plus. There are restaurants in walking distance and the airport shuttle makes this hotel an easy favorite!

For those with an early flight in the AM or coming in from a cruise, this is the place to stay. They allow early check in before noon for 75$ and 12 for 40$ and by 2 complimentary check in. So worth it - especially for me when the ship kindly asks us to leave at the crack of dawn. I was so surprised for the value i got vs the price. They have a few restaurants on site, including a steakhouse and starbucks, lots of amenities and the lobby is stunning. I ordered room service. More than enough food portion wise to feed a baby army and delicious. However, what really made my stay was Kevin at check in, he made it easy, he was professional and I really felt like he went over and above. Thank you for the great stay! Will definitely come again

The Airport Marriott Hotel is very convenient to the airport. It is very clean and comfortable. My only complaint is the overcharging in the restaurant. We had a meal in the restaurant after our flight from Vancouver.I am aware of the exchange rate between the American and Canadian dollar and I ordered a virgin mojito and was charged $20 us currency, that is equivalent to $28 Canadian. This over pricing does not encourage Canadians to visit America

The staff during the check in process was amazing, unfortunately checking out the front desk did not have good customer service and wasn’t very helpful. The parking on hotels.com provides a self parking rate and was charged valet price for self parking which I was trying to clarify with front desk but she just spoke to me in a condescending manner.

Very convenient location next to the airport. The shuttle service was great, I didn’t have to wait a longtime and driver was very friendly. The staff at the hotel is awesome and the amenities they offer are really nice! My only thing is they really need to deep clean all the rooms and replace the carpet. Just needed to be cleaner.
