It was a pleasant stay. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was very polite and friendly. If you’re looking for a swimming pool during the summer months this wouldn’t be the place . However they do have a very small 3 1/2 foot out sorry waiting pool if that suits you.

The hotel is beautiful, the bed, shower, room were all top notch. The staff was fantasy and the breakfast was decent. That said, it is very inner city. If you're driving its great, the parking is free and the property is great. But do not plan on walking to the Metro or the park unless you're comfortable in a very rough environment. The area is not for families or tourists.

Great stay, even though the area feels a bit odd — the hotel itself is excellent. The entire staff is outstanding, from the front desk to the housekeeping ladies. The breakfast is unforgettable, and the pancake machine is amazing. Free parking and right in the middle of everything in Los Angeles. We’ll definitely be back — we loved the location, the service, and the hotel’s new facilities.

Our stay was very nice. Cleaning everyday. I especially liked the refilled toiletry options. The hotel is located in an area that isn’t very clean and some homelessness in front of the hotel but hotel itself is kept in great condition. Parking garage included with stay. The pool is small.

We stayed here 2 separate times. Liked almost everything about the hotel - pleasant staff, good warm breakfast options, opens 6:30 although the website showed 6 am- they accommodated us and opened 6:15 to grab food so we could make it on time for our son’s 7:15 am volleyball tournament check-in at the LA Convention Center. We really appreciated that! The only downside is the area outdoors did not feel safe with the many transients walking around the street. I’d recommend just driving your own vehicle in/out of the lot or Lyft/Uber/Taxi will also pick you up at the front door so you don’t have to walk out to the street. That said the hotel parking lot was still safe and also free-no cost which is unheard of in downtown LA!

Aida (receptionist) was amazingly helpful. Housekeeping staff was friendly and quick to bring more linen when needed. The property was exceptionally clean. The breakfast was good, it included omelets, pancakes & more. Free parking was a perk we don’t see very often anymore and a reason to stay here again.

This hotel was not located in a safe area. It was located in the slums of the city. The beds were not comfortable and the pillows were way too soft and too thin. We asked the staff for shower towels, and over an hour later, we received our towels. The bathroom was dirty and had beard hair in the sink. The breakfast was not appealing at all. We were truly disappointed in our stay.

We stayed as a family of 6 in the big room, arrived late after visiting the Universal studios. The room was very spacious with comfort beds and suited our needs perfectly, though missing 2 towels (4/6) we got a prompt response. The food was good as expected from the brand. The only hiccups was the surrounding neighborhood which was not children friendly by any means. Good as a prompt pit stop.

Area was sketchy for sure. But the staff assured our cars in garage were safe with security. You needed a key to enter building which was good. The room was big and comfortable. Clean for sure. Only problem we had was the water was never hot. It took mins of it being on to turn somewhat warm. We let the staff know, and they said it was fixed but it was maybe a tiny bit warmer. We were a family of 5 so we had to take quick showers to get warm showers.

Newly renovated it seems, rooms were roomy, clean and newly redone. Walls are a bit thin as we could hear people on both sides of us. Nice to have on site parking as neighborhood is a bit sketchy. Definitely would walk around area. We were there for a Dodgers game and it was an easy drive to/from stadium. Biggest issue is even thought we got there after check in our rooms were not ready. They asked us to wait 15 min, yet after that they were only able to give us one of our two rooms, only because they gave us someone elses room.

The food options were great. The coffee was freshly ground, hot, and tasted great as well. The dining area was spacious and there were plenty of seating options. The bed was very comfortable and I liked the option to choose between a soft or more firm pillow. The spaciousness of the room and ADA details throughout the room and bathroom were especially helpful with my son who is disabled and utilizes a wheelchair. The bench in the room was a great feature as well. The front desk staff and those that worked in the breakfast area were really nice and helpful!

Check in is at 3 pm and I arrived at 2:40 pm and was not able to get a room yntill 3:50 pm. This caused me to alter my plans for a particular engagement that I had planned. The hotel is located in the worst area of L.A. Homeless,drunks and drugged up people all around hotel. I did not get much sleep, sirens and people screaming all through the night.The Hotel is clean but in a very bad area. I will not stay here ever again.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! Check-in was quick and easy, and the staff were exceptionally friendly. A special shoutout to Mia (I believe that’s her name) — she had short hair with a splash of green, and her warm smile truly lit up the room. The hotel itself was very clean, and the maid service was attentive and always willing to help with anything we needed. Breakfast was delicious and a great way to start the day. Overall, a very pleasant experience. Highly recommend!

To Whom It May Concern, I had a truly disappointing experience during check-in at your hotel. After traveling 10 hours by plane, my fiancée and I waited in line for 10 minutes. When it was finally our turn, the front desk rep, who clearly saw us waiting, told us she wouldn’t check us in because she was going on her lunch break. No apology, no regard for the inconvenience—just a dismissive attitude. We then had to wait another 15 minutes for the next available rep, who was equally unfriendly, unhelpful, and looked like she didn’t want to be there at all. No welcome, no empathy—just cold, poor service. Things didn’t get better once we reached our room. The Wi-Fi didn’t work with our room number and last name. On top of that, the room wasn’t even ready—we had to wait another 10 minutes while the cleaner finished. This entire check-in process was frustrating, unprofessional, and far below the standards I expected. While the room and amenities were fine, your staff clearly needs better training in professionalism and customer service. No guest should be treated like this. It was a wonderful experience, stayed two nights. I selected this hotel because I wanted to be fairly close to Dodger Stadium so I could Uber to the game. Plus I wanted to be close to downtown area. Great location, private secure parking, very good breakfast, and the room was very clean and comfortable. Very good impression and will stay there again for sure.

The hotel was modern and clean. The area is a bit sketchy, but I knew this before booking. I chose the hotel because it was walking distance to an office where I had a meeting. Thought it was a bit overpriced for the area and experience. The King one bedroom suite did not have a door to separate the spaces and the couch was small with no end tables. The carpet was slightly damp, probably from a recent cleaning.

My stay at Holiday Inn is always great! A couple things that were amazing were the staff at the front desk and the stay in our room. One thing that I was a little disappointed with was the diminishing quality of the breakfast in the lobby. Our first morning we had such a great breakfast but the other two seemed to use leftovers that were hardly edible.
