The Westin was more spacious than I thought it would be with large hallways and bedrooms. I imagine it is mostly used for conferences. Considering the size, I was surprised by the size of the pool and gym. If the hotel were booked, they would be quite busy. I was disappointed that the restaurant was not open and walkable dining options were limited. I ended up ordering from a food delivery service. However, it is a convenient distance from the airport and the shuttle drivers were excellent. I noticed a few stains on the hallway carpets, but nothing in my room.

Upon arrival at LAX from the East Coast, the shuttle to the hotel was readily available, with a wait time of approximately five minutes. The hotel's proximity to the airport proved advantageous. Despite arriving two hours prior to the scheduled check-in time, immediate check-in was facilitated. The total transit time from the airport to the room was under 30 minutes. This was an excellent experience.

We had to find another way to get to the hotel because we stood for 40 minutes when we arrived and there was no shuttle. We were told by another bus driver that the shuttle service for the Weston was not in service. The shower was very weak in our room. We asked for a late check out so we could leave our bags in the room and when we went to get our bags, the room was locked. We had to wait a while for security to come and let us in.

We loved the hotel room--it was clean and comfortable. We were very disappointed with the shuttle service FROM the airport. We ended up waiting for 43 minutes. The first bus that came by picked up people just stepping out of the airport while those of us who have been waiting for around 30 minutes at the correct stop (by the RED sign as instructed in the email) were left behind because the bus was full by the time it got to the correct pick-up location. It's also a bit inconvenient to not be provided with drinking water inside the room. We got to the hotel close to midnight so it wasn't fun having to go find a water dispenser, especially since we didn't have a container. We had to use the ice bucket. Lastly, our daughter wanted to use the pool early the next morning. The pool water was cold, which was disappointing because we were promised "a heated outdoor pool." Our stay ended on a positive note because the bus driver on the shuttle that brought us to the airport was a friendly little guy. We didn't catch his name, but were impressed with his attitude and personality. (We left the hotel around 8am on 06-20-25, in case you need to trace who our driver was.)

Parking is very expensive & I don’t understand why. If you aren’t a guest or attendee you shouldn’t be allowed to park )get a license plate reader system! I valet parked because an extra $30 to avoid the parking lot was worth it to me. However, guests were complaining on the elevator about the self parking expense.

Everything was great except for the late night shuttle to the hotel. It took forever while other hotels had multiple shuttles. When it finally arrived, it stopped far away from the checkpoint and sped off before you realized what hotel it was. I ended up having to take an uber to the hotel. My shuttle experience to the airport was so easy but it was during the day.

More nighttime airport shuttles are need. As I attempted to go to the hotel from the airport the first shuttle was too full. The next shuttle was for "flight crew only" which was ridiculous and the driver did not let me on the bus even though there seemed to be plenty of room. Finally the third shuttle allowed me on the bus, 45 minutes after the first shuttle drove past me. This was inconvenient and not the service I normal receive from a Westin property. Disappointing overall.

Everything seemed fine until I walked into my room. It was disgusting and not ready for my sister and I. The sheets were stacked in a pile. There was missing furniture. Toilet paper on the floor. I was in shock.

Bed sheets were not clean there were holes in the pillow. When asked to move to another room, the front was very accepting and moved us. However in the new room there were again holes in the pillow cover, and the duvet had orange and brown stains on them. Honestly at that point I just slept on the couch. Also no one came to clean the room/bathroom/ or give us new towels

I can't speak for the entire hotel, but my room had fleas or bedbugs -- yuck! My legs and arms are covered in bite marks. This hotel stay was a disaster from the start. When I arrived the bathroom was flooded with water, because the shower has leaked from the previous guest. As a result I don't think the hotel staff cleaned the bathroom completely after the previous guest checked out, because the shower was full of water. The staff sent repair personnel to fix the issue, but the condition of the room was unacceptable. My entire stay the water from the shower and toilet overflowed, which caused a bad smell in the room. The towels had a terrible smell, like vomit. This stay was horrible and disgusting.

This hotel needs a deep, thorough cleaning. My first assigned room had plumbing issues, the bathtub would not drain during a shower. When I reported it, management told me it couldn’t be fixed until the next morning and moved me to another room. Unfortunately, the second room wasn’t much better. The sink drained very slowly with bubbling noises, and one of the bed pillows smelled like urine. The view could have been nice, but both the inside and outside of the windows were filthy with dirt and debris. The frame around the window that opens was especially dirty, and gnats were a constant issue. The onsite dining was disappointing as well. I ordered dessert at the grill, and it was burnt to the point of tasting like charcoal. When I asked, I was told their microwave had broken that Thursday night, "so they used the oven instead to bake my pie". Overall, my experience was very unpleasant, and this hotel needs significant improvements in both cleanliness and quality control.

Everything was great except the cleanliness - especially in the bathroom. There was hair all over the floor - which I didn't notice until I got out of the shower. It was in the sink as well and the bathroom countertop didn't look like it was cleaned at all. It was too late and I was too tired to move rooms so I put towels all over the bathroom floor to walk on a clean surface. Additionally, there were a big hair ball at the foot of the bed. Pretty disappointing.

I stayed in 427 the room was decent the safe was locked unable to use , the coffee maker was overflowing with dust as well as the room phone and remote control I took pictures wish I could submit, the ice machine was broken which was inconvenient. My husband went to Starbucks and after waiting in line for 15 min when it was his turn to order they told him they where closed for the day around 10 am , the check in was good , parking was good , the food at the grill was decent .

Beautiful lobby and rooms with very comfortable beds. If your room faces the airport expect airplane noises throughout the day and night. Not terrible but noticeable. The restaurant is casual and not overly expensive, but the food is just so-so The location is walking distance from the rental car building, which means you might be able to return your car early. We did.

I had an excellent stay at The Westin Los Angeles Airport. The room was spotless and comfortable, the housekeeping team was super friendly, and the airport shuttle service was fast, convenient, and very reliable. One employee in particular truly stood out: Felipe Jimenez (I’m pretty sure that was the name on his badge). While I was outside in front of valet—with no one offering to help—Felipe appeared out of nowhere with a big smile and immediately assisted me. He unloaded all my luggage and arranged for a bellhop to send everything to my room. It was honestly the most seamless bellhop experience I’ve ever had, and it made a huge difference in starting my stay on a positive note. The only downsides were that late checkout was limited to 12 noon with no option to pay for extra time, and the lack of room service, which meant having to go downstairs for breakfast. It would’ve been great to have an in-room dining option. Even with those small inconveniences, the service—especially Felipe’s—really made the stay memorable, and I would definitely return.

I booked for a single, king bed room at the Westin LAX. I showed up at 12pm and waited a few hours to check in, only for them to tell me they overbooked the hotel and they are transferring me to a different hotel. This wasted so much of my personal time and my resources. Extremely unprofessional behavior, lack of good communication skills, and overall disregard for their clientele. I wish I could leave a happier, more positive review, but I can’t. Avoid this place. They’ll make you jump through hoops just to get a bed to sleep in. Additionally, when they transferred me to said hotel, the room I was given was 2 queen beds. This may not seem like a big deal, but I very rarely get to choose my sleeping arrangements in my life (sad), but I was so looking forward to spreading out (5’10”) on a nice king size bed. Anyways, do better, Westin. You’re capable of such better service.

I arrived at the Westin LAX after a 10 hour flight and was told that they couldnt check me in because there were no available rooms. I had reserved the room six weeks prior and there was no prior communication. They transferred us to a Marriott property that did not have equivalent rooms to what I had booked. Staff was nice enough but I won't be staying at a Westin or Marriott again.

I want to commend two of the most customer centric employees of Westin. First time in LA and Noe is outstanding! He arranged a personal day tour with a fantastic tour guide! It was so very nice! We saw all of the lovely places in LA. He also recommended the shuttle for our concert at SOFI. Just because of the attention to excellence I will only stay at the Westin when I visit again. Also a big shout out to Bellboy Steven P. He made sure we enjoyed our stay as well. Worth every penny spent!! Thank you GM Steve for having such phenomenal staff!

I had an issue with something and the manager was extremely rude and refused to make things right Hot tub wasn’t working and everyday they would tell me it’s fixed and I’d get in and it wouldn’t be hot so I’d have to get out Water pressure in shower was very weak but after initial incident I didn’t even bother complaining as I already felt uncomfortable Anytime I requested something to my room Waters, towels, etc it would never arrive unless I called back a second or third time Will never stay there again

I was in Anaheim for a few days and had a noon flight out of LAX. Rather than rushing to catch an Uber in the morning, I came up the night before and stayed here. Had a nice, relaxing night, and as you can see, the room was extremely spacious. The main selling point for me was the free shuttle straight to my terminal at LAX. Overall, I had a great experience, no complaints. Honestly, I only stayed here because it’s close to the airport. Wouldn’t recommend it, though, if you’re planning to explore Downtown LA.

I was taken aback at the restaurant to observe every bartender handle the beverage garnishments with their bare hands, dunk them in the drinks. It was not an isolated incidence but the norm. I was barely through my meal and I couldn’t unsee ithat. As a physician I can only imagine the state of the kitchen. This should not be a conversation in 2025. Ironically, I was just discharged from the hospital that evening from a stomach illness and the unsanitary ways of your bartenders was not lost on me. The rest of the wait staff were fabulous. Please retrain your staff and prevent an un-necessary outbreak.

Hotel is outrageously overpriced. Plan on spending over $100 each morning for breakfast for two. Spa services were also overpriced - good thing was unless you book the services weeks in advance of your stay they are all booked up so less temptation to spend $$$$ on a massage. Local providers in the area can provide the same service on same day notice for less than half the price.

I didn’t like the chicken piccata at all. The food in general wasn’t as good as it was. The hotel rooms and the house keeper was great. The lobby is so cool and easy to work in.

This is a well-run, convenient airport hotel -- clear positives were a good bar and restaurant and the shuttle was fast and efficient. It's not a destination place, there for only one reason -- LAX -- but for meeting that need, it was perfect.

Good food, they required a tip for pickup which was odd but whatever. We set the AC as low as it would go and it barely got cool overnight. Bathroom door auto closed and was squeaky so any stops overnight woke everyone. Airplanes all night

Airport shuttle was super convenient. Room was clean, comfortable, quiet, and not shabby in anyway. Restaurant served a great breakfast, daytime bar served a margarita to go for the pool, and the nighttime bar was unexpectedly fun for Friday night after a show. The pool was really fun though quite noisy withairplane noise, which was to be expected. Fantastic 24 hour getaway.
