We liked this place so much we extended our stay for two nights instead of going to a friends house. Great pool, lots of dining, shopping and beach options very close. The restaurant on-site was great, and the $30 resort credit daily covered our coffee and pastries each morning. This will be our go-to hotel when visiting this area!

Charging $45 per day for parking at a Hotel you are already paying for seems crazy. Also, the added $30 per day you "have to" spend at the property or you get charged left a bad taste. The room and property was nice but not worth the cost once you add in all the other charges.

Lovely hotel and easy access to LAX. Nice leisure facilities - gym, pickle, swimming and golf. Short Uber ride to MB Village but walkable eating options to the hotel. Small issue with a vending machine not working which the hotel took care of very well. I stayed with my 2 kids. Very safe and clean. Lovely airy open area on the ground floor for eating & drinking. Look forward to returning.

We love this hotel. Clean and spacious rooms, attentive staff, amazing lobby with restaurant and bar, golf course, pool and pickleball. It is not on the beach but you can walk there - it’s about 1.5 miles and there is a nice trail— Veterans Parkway down the road that will take you straight there. You can even rent a bike but hotel doesn’t have them, you need to rent from a local shop. Will definitely stay here in the future.

Hands down the best staff at every point of contact! The world knows that even before the pandemic customer service has gone down the toilet. Everywhere in service based businesses folks tend to do less than the bare minimum. This makes Westdrift stand out with their level of genuine friendliness and respect that my husband Johnny and I have not experienced in a very long time. The level of customer service cannot be touched by any of the many luxury properties we’ve stayed at in the last 18 months. Fantastic fitness center, heated pool, 9 hole course and in house restaurant. Enjoyed our time here tremendously!

Everything great except pool was not clean I mean the tile around the pool had oil and looked like sweat accumulations stains that looked dirty and once we saw that we just didn’t go back in

Really enjoyed staying here and the grounds are very nice. Staff is very friendly and helpful. There were a few negative things I would like to mention though is though. The dial on the mini fridge was broken, the metal plate in the bathtub fell off which revealed a bunch of rust, and the room carpet smelled.

Called ahead of time and asked for a crib and they didn’t set it up for us to had to ask them to and one of the sides was broken and it had stains all over it, really disappointing. Then in the bathroom there was hairs on the floor so makes me unsure if it was cleaned at all. The bed was super comfortable and the singer in the bar was awesome but that’s about all the positives of the experience

The pool was heated which the kids loved it was quiet. The food place closed at 10 PM. The wifi didn’t work. The bed was super hard could barely sleep. There was no lock on the bathroom door or fan in the bathroom.

We recently stayed at the westdrift and I really liked how nice, and welcoming the hotel was. The staff was approachable and friendly. The area is very nice and close to several stores and restaurants. The only issue was the room needs updates. Beds were comfy.

The view I was expecting to have based on the room I paid a lot of money for was “great” view of the parking structure with palm trees behind it which covered a majority of the golf course. The hotel itself where the rooms are outdated and not worth the price being charged.

The wifi was non existent in my room. It took multiple complaints to reception staff to be moved rooms. I also had an issue with billing on departure that when I checked my account a few days after departure that I had been charged more than what my checkout account stated. It took two emails over multiple days to get a response from management.

The common areas of this hotel are beautifully executed with a contemporary style. My room was also designed with a modern appearance. However, I observed that much was surface-level ... ultimately it's an older hotel that's been updated. The toilet is old/scratched, wallpaper in the bathroom isn't well-secured, room was not well sound-proofed (hallway sounds are very audible, and loud-ish plumbing sounds from room next door which is pretty common/not a big deal). Service was good - not overly-attentive, but friendly and available. I would recommend for a large-group/business event (this stay was for a few nights prior to a company event) but for a personal trip, I would look for a hotel with a lower price point or one that provided better quality for this price point.

What a horrific experience. We arrived at noon and the room wasn't ready, so we asked the hotel to call us when the room was cleaned up. They never did. We came back at 10:00pm, with tired young kids in tow, and got our keys. They didn't work. We went down to the desk again and got another set of the keys that didn't work. When a staff member opened the door for us with the master key, we saw that our room had not been made up. The bed was a mess, there were used towels thrown all over the place. The staff member said he'd bring up working keys and get housekeeping the clean the room. He never came back. Twenty minutes later, we called the front desk and they said housekeeping had already been dispatched. When I complained that we were waiting with young kids, they sarcastically said, "I'll dispatch them again." I waited another 20 minutes. Someone from housekeeping walked down the hall to another room, and I asked of help, but they disappeared and didn't return. 30 minutes later I walked down to the front desk getting pretty upset. Someone from the front desk said they'd personally walk over to housekeeping and ask someone to help. I went back to the room and continued to wait. More than an hour after we entered a dirty room that hadn't been housecleaned, someone finally came to clean the room. Our kids were able to get to sleep around midnight. I can totally understand and forgive a mistake... what frustrated me is one staff member after another who seemed just not to care.

The customer service on both of our recent trips has been exceptional. Definitely considering coming back mostly because of the incredibly kind people employed at this property (especially those behind the check-in/checkout counter.

Nice hotel at a fair price. We only stayed for one night. Large rooms that are well maintained. Breakfast on site. Parking is $51 per night for valet or $41 for self parking. Less than 10 minutes from central Manhattan beach where there are lots of restaurants, shopping, etc.

Good, clean and convenient location if staying near LAX. Only about $25 to LAX or $9 to Manhattan Beach pier and restaurants. There’s a big shopping mall only 10m walk that has all the things you expect from a typical mall.

I absolutely loved staying at this hotel. In fact, I had another hotel booked for the back end of my stay in Los Angeles, and I actually cancelled that hotel to come back to the Westdrift hotel. From check-in to check out the staff was absolutely top-notch. The facilities were fantastic. Across the street is a supermarket with absolutely phenomenal food choices, CVS, shake shack, Philz coffee…. Easy to get to great shopping and the beach.

Ordered dinner in from room service. Huge mistake! The cost was over $100 for two people. The food arrived in plastic storage containers like one might get to take home after a dinner in a restaurant. Plastic forks, knives, spoons, packets of ketchup, and cocktail napkins (no dinner-size napkins) were provided. As there were no plates, one was left to eat out of the storage container. The entire "dinner" arrived in a brown paper bag. The entire situation would have been laughable except for the price and the missed the opportunity to go out for dinner. How embarrassing for an otherwise reasonably nice hotel. If you stay there, place to go to a local restaurant for food.
