The property is modern and very clean! The staff is very friendly! They only have valet parking for $49/day, but there is a parking lot directly across the street for $6/day. Will definitely book again!

Great location to Mother beach across the street...take advantage of the paddleboarding (this was complimentary but you need to get the coupon code from the front desk and reserve online). Venice beach is a bit farther to walk, but very doable or rent a bike from the hotel, dont forget to ask for your beach pack, it said it comes with waters and a snack (ours didnt have any snack) there was chapstick and sun block. The hotel has beach mats you can checkout, very handy. There are several restaurants to choose from. We found a great breakfast place around the block with pressed juices and also for a quick inexpensive breakfast there is a bagel spot next door.

Our flight was cancelled due to the crowdstrike debacle so we looked for an hour for a nice property not far from the airport and with places to walk nearby. This is a great property. The staff is super friendly, the room was spacious and clean, bathroom seemed newly remodeled. My wife, kids and I used the pool and hot tub. We also spent a few hours in the beach across the street, the hotel gave us some beach toys and a blanket plus free paddle boarding. There is plenty of food nearby, a nice market behind it and it’s an easy walk to Venice.

Nice hotel right on the pier of Marine del Rey and 10 min walk from Venice Beach. Very very small pool area and hot tub not especially clean. Only valet parking (expensive at USD 49 per night) available at the hotel.

First and foremost, my Chanel bag was stolen from the room during my stay. I always lock or hide jewelry but it has never occurred to me to hide my bags. The manager filed a complaint but it was rejected. Secondly, this hotel also has a $30 daily resort charge that has to be used on property for food or beverage. We checked in late Friday and had missed dinner / bar and was told that it had to be used that night. So we lost out and just had to pay the fee. The other days at breakfast the food was not good and our orders had to be sent back bc they were not correct or were burned. Additionally, there was only one server on hand so everything is slow. Finally, ironically they never cleaned our room the first two days even though we didn’t have a do not disturb sign out and apparently on the final day when they did finally clean the room they stole my purse. Overall, this was a horrible experience and I would not stay there again.

Our stay was not good. Our room was dirty. The drawers were dirty, there was food on the floor, a dirty hand print on the ceiling, a used water bottle by the coffee station and the bathroom was not clean. When we asked the hotel to come and clean the room, two hours later someone came and dropped off towels and water. I would not recommend staying there.

We were very happy with our stay. We were there for five days. The cleanliness and the supply of towels was extraordinary. The room was clean all the time. It was a 15-minute walk from the beach. Thank you very much and I recommend it.

Overall nice hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean. It is important to know though that it is quite noisy on the side facing the street. Also we were given a complimentary credit to spend at the hotel. That said I was not able to use it on room service as I clicked the pay via cc on the QR code…. Oh well can’t complain as it was a free credit but would have been nice to take advantage of it.

I had two unpleasant interactions with front desk staff who were unresponsive and borderline rude to simple requests . I had a reservation for a king room, got 2 queens and was asked had I ever stayed at a hotel before…hardly customer service

Have stayed here at various times over the past since 90's. Renovated rooms...great bar and food quality surprisingly good at the lobby restaurant and bar. Outstandingly service all around, bartenders very friendly and great at their jobs. In fact, all the workers seem to go the extra mile, front desk, valet parking, bar and restaurant and house keeping. Im going to keep on coming!

My Chanel Bag was stolen out of my room. The hotel manager filed a claim, but Bon Voy rejected it. As I only went to my sisters house and was in my brother in laws rental car, there was no other place the purse could have been lost: Also the hotel manager confirmed that he had video footage of me leaving and returning to the hotel with the purse. Also, they have this $30 daily resort fee requiring you to spend that each day on food or drinks. We checked in late Friday evening and had missed dinner / were told that we would just have to eat that day’s fee as it has to spent that day. We found out later from another family member that we could have used it for breakfast and was given bad information and forced to eat the fee/. Also, when we did eat breakfast the other days the food is terrible (order was wrong multiple times, we had to send back one meal for being undercooked and another one was burnt) and a huge waste of money. Also there is only one server at breakfast so everything is very slow (she was lovely and trying her best), but when you basically mandate that everyone has to eat at the hotel you need to staff for it. Finally they did not clean our room the first two days, not sure why. We did not have the do not disturb on the door. Great location to Mother beach across the street...take advantage of the paddleboarding (this was complimentary but you need to get the coupon code from the front desk and reserve online). Venice beach is a bit farther to walk, but very doable or rent a bike from the hotel, dont forget to ask for your beach pack, it said it comes with waters and a snack (ours didnt have any snack) there was chapstick and sun block. The hotel has beach mats you can checkout, very handy. There are several restaurants to choose from. We found a great breakfast place around the block with pressed juices and also for a quick inexpensive breakfast there is a bagel spot next door.

We used to live in L.A. and now we came as tourists to visit family. We love the beach area so much that we decided to stay here at the Marriott in Marina del Rey and we are so happy we chose this place. They gave us a room with a view to the marina, we were greeted with friendly staff and though valet parking is available, across the street is plenty of public parking where you can also leave your car for $15 for 24hrs but there is no in and out access. We got this room through Expedia on a very good deal and I think we will definitely get it again if there is another good deal for this hotel. We got this room in mid January and though it was drizzling the night we got there, the next day was warm and really nice because the sun came out and turned out to be a beautiful day. Even the drizzle that night wasn’t too bad because we walked to The Cheesecake Factory for dinner! We loved the experience here, specially because you are within walking distance to all the local restaurants and shops and even the beach is across the street where you can play volleyball, fire up a BBQ and sit at the picnic tables to have lunch. Also, the hotel offers electric bike rentals that you can rent for the day and ride to the famous Abbot Kinney blvd. It is a beautiful and fun place to enjoy your stay!

Our flight was cancelled due to the crowdstrike debacle so we looked for an hour for a nice property not far from the airport and with places to walk nearby. This is a great property. The staff is super friendly, the room was spacious and clean, bathroom seemed newly remodeled. My wife, kids and I used the pool and hot tub. We also spent a few hours in the beach across the street, the hotel gave us some beach toys and a blanket plus free paddle boarding. There is plenty of food nearby, a nice market behind it and it’s an easy walk to Venice.

Outside of the hotel there is nothing local to walk to. You can walk to a sand part by the beach if you go one block up and over, and there is a sidewalk along where all the boats are parked. That was the only thing we could find that was semi safe at night. They have so many hidden charges at this location too so make sure you questions everything. The breakfast seemed like it was already prepared and plated did not seem fresh or warm. Was not bad but did not come off the griddle that is for sure.

Great location on the bay. Nice pool and spa area. Large rooms. We had access to the M Club as part of our room, which provided a breakfast buffet daily and appetizers 5 nights a week.

First and foremost, my Chanel bag was stolen from the room during my stay. I always lock or hide jewelry but it has never occurred to me to hide my bags. The manager filed a complaint but it was rejected. Secondly, this hotel also has a $30 daily resort charge that has to be used on property for food or beverage. We checked in late Friday and had missed dinner / bar and was told that it had to be used that night. So we lost out and just had to pay the fee. The other days at breakfast the food was not good and our orders had to be sent back bc they were not correct or were burned. Additionally, there was only one server on hand so everything is slow. Finally, ironically they never cleaned our room the first two days even though we didn’t have a do not disturb sign out and apparently on the final day when they did finally clean the room they stole my purse. Overall, this was a horrible experience and I would not stay there again.

My Chanel Bag was stolen out of my room. The hotel manager filed a claim, but Bon Voy rejected it. As I only went to my sisters house and was in my brother in laws rental car, there was no other place the purse could have been lost: Also the hotel manager confirmed that he had video footage of me leaving and returning to the hotel with the purse. Also, they have this $30 daily resort fee requiring you to spend that each day on food or drinks. We checked in late Friday evening and had missed dinner / were told that we would just have to eat that day’s fee as it has to spent that day. We found out later from another family member that we could have used it for breakfast and was given bad information and forced to eat the fee/. Also, when we did eat breakfast the other days the food is terrible (order was wrong multiple times, we had to send back one meal for being undercooked and another one was burnt) and a huge waste of money. Also there is only one server at breakfast so everything is very slow (she was lovely and trying her best), but when you basically mandate that everyone has to eat at the hotel you need to staff for it. Finally they did not clean our room the first two days, not sure why. We did not have the do not disturb on the door. Anyways, when they did clean our room the last day that is when my bag got stolen.
