The floodwater was closed so we didn’t have a restaurant but it’s ok there was one nearby, the hot tub didn’t work but the pool looked nice. Great variety of breakfast options

The room, property and staff were good. We were not made aware by hotel staff or elsewhere that the parking lot floods at high tide. We only happened to see a sign posted at the back of the property with a warning. The entire back lot and portion of the side lot flooded each night at high tide. We saw trash and other debris floating almost to the entry. It was unsafe. In addition to the flooding, it was a nightmare trying to get out of the parking lot due to the traffic without a signal or stop sign. We generally enjoy this hotel chain because of its staff and amenities but we would not frequent this location again.

The hot tub was out of order and did not tell us on the website when we booked it. When we confronted the reception, he tried to play it off like he didn’t know it was out of order when there were 3 signs once you entered the pool area. The room (that we were put in, not all of them) was on a hill so everything was slanted inside the room which made us feel dizzy and was a tripping hazard. Kids were running around at 5am in the room above. It sounded like they were coming through the ceiling it was so loud. The continental breakfast had stale cereal, no juice left in the dispenser, no hot water, and no pancakes in the machine (this was at 7am so only half an hour after breakfast started). None of this was posted online and if this had been posted we would not have booked the room.

Pros: pool, hot tub, free breakfast, free parking, bathtub in room, balcony in room, restaurant on site (with room service!), dogs allowed, hotel located close to nature/walking path with beautiful views. Cons: had to walk outside to get to rooms (card readers weren’t always easy to use, making it hard to get inside at times), bed was uncomfortable.

The room was slightly small but well furnished. Only complaint was the back parking lot where we were told to park was completely flooded in the morning. It was raining and we woke up to 8-10" of water in lot and no way to get our things out but to wade through the water. It would have been good to be told this on check in that the back and side of building routinely floods when it rains.

The room was very decent, bed decent and no complaints about the room. If you want to do a load of laundry be prepared, there is an app to download (no quarters) staff is unknowledgeable about the laundry in many aspects. There are no restaurants nearby and the only really decent (even trendy) closes early. The rear parking lot floods because of the tides so this will not be mentioned when checking in, but you will notice 2-3 inches of water everywhere in the far back portion of the lot. There was a pleasant more experienced woman (mature) that was really helpful. Again, the room was good value considering the area is a very expensive section of a San Francisco suburb.

Room price was so high and the room was too basic. Staff was super friendly and helpful, especially Kimberly who checked me in. Room cleanliness especially balcony was just average. Mattress needs to be replaced, not comfortable at all.

I was given a handicapped room that had bed bugs, the front desk guy was not around and took 20min for him to show up to even check me in. He said the hotel was fully booked but his manager offered me another room, after I had already booked somewhere else. Front desk guy tried to argue there were no bed bugs, apart from dead bugs the sheets were ripped and had pen marks. I will never book at this hotel again and will seek a refund.

Staff was great, room was clean. The Door had a 2 inch hole where the building shifted. Back slider did not seal properly and mosquitoes came in and fed on us. The AC was wacky, hot and cold. Rough night. The breakfast was below par, overall although there were plenty of options.

While the rooms are renovated, the building itself is really old, and I had to change rooms because of creaking ceiling above me. I would not come back. Additionally, I had an issue with my work bookings where I had two reservations for my entire five nights stay. I communicated almost every day and still had someone call me during the workday to ask me why I hadn’t checked out of my room. Finally, every time I tried to call the front desk, it was just dial tones on the phone. I had to call from my cell phone three different times.

The room was spacious, beds were so comfy. Great location near the city and Muir Woods park. Good price. The hot breakfast was awesome. One day it was scrambled eggs with sausage, biscuits and gravy, the next was egg white veggie omelette, bacon, and biscuits and gravy. Bonus: there is a restaurant/bar next door with great food and hotel guests get a 15% discount. We ate there both nights.

Booked a king room with bay view. Received accessible room with a fence view. On questioning, we were told they were over booked. We insisted, bearing in mind we are top tier with IHG and Platinum with Hotels.com. Miraculously, a room was found that better reflected our booking, although not in full. To compensate, a $50 discount was offered and accepted. At checkout, no one new anything about the agreed discount. The operative made numerous phone calls and promised to sort it out once the manager began work later. Four days later the discount was applied. Overall, a very poor experience.

check-in and out was a breeze, nice area. would love to go around the walk/jog trail if we stayed longer. breakfast was good too! great location as it is just a few miles from Golden Gate bridge so other places of interests in and near downtown takes less than 30minutes. Sausalito which is another awesome place is very near as well. will definitely be in our list to stay whenever we will be in Sanfo.

Hotel located right on edge of a marsh. Made for a peaceful walk and bird watching. Room was clean and quiet except for upstairs neighbors for a bit in the evening. Bed comfortable. Breakfast had wide variety to choose from. Cheerful and helpful check-in clerk. He recommended East Brother pub next door. Went for early dinner and found all food was excellent and service staff attentive and friendly. I’ll stay again!

It is a run of the mill Holiday Inn Express, but it is in a good location. Break was late 2 of the three days because the person responsible was late to work. Unacceptable.
