The toilet / plumbing was old. We had to pump the handle so not to waste water after each flush 🙄 They closed the jacuzzi at 5pm instead of 8pm. No ice. So I had to buy ice. I’ve always had ice at all hotels

My room was perfect! Has everything it said it did, the bed was so comfortable too! We used the grill outside to Bbq & have a good time. The washers/dryers are easy to use with a fee of $2. Definitely staying here again!

The condos here are easily within walking distance to the beach. They are generally quiet and comfortable. Parking is easy. I enjoy the relaxed nature of the community. Lots of friendly seniors.

Great little place, only stayed for one night. My only complaint would be the mattress, it felt a bit like a college dorm mattress. Other than that - very pleased overall. It was a 30 second walk from the beach. Do be aware - need to check in by 7:30pm when staff is on site.

Units are clean,comfortable and spacious. Ruthie at check-in was great! Due to orthopedic issues we needed a downstairs unit. She was awesome, getting us a downstairs. Hot tub was clean and soothing after a long drive.

A little dated and needs some TLC. Bathroom vent needed to be dusted... bad. However, price was great, ample parking and very close to everything we wanted to do. Would definitely stay again.

The property and location was ideal, the hot tub was clean and wonderful, parking was perfect. The office staff are so kibd and friendly.The only problems were the studio we stayed in rm 204, it needs some major upgrades. The couch is so broken down you can feel the springs, the bed feels like its a box spring no padding and there is very little wster pressure from the shower. This could be an ideal place stay if the condo's stayed up on comfort and wear n tear!

Very spacious room. It’s also a really good location, walking distance to the beach. The bed was very comfortable. The only down side was that parking is was really tight. Everything else was great, I would stay there again.

Suite was spacious. Had good sucked living room with fireplace. Ocean theme decorated to the 5’s. Comfy bed . Generous bathroom amenities ( shampoo, conditioner etc. Nice landscaping. Parjking good . Next to hiking path and beach. TV was frustrating to work. 2 remotes, instruction should begiven in guest info skeet. Hot tub closed at 8pm. ( too early). No way to get extra towels. Front desk closes down at 8. No way to reach by phone ( or they did not answer)

The interior of our condo was nice--spacious & comfortable. We were very surprised there is no A/C--it got quite warm inside at times even though it wasn't hot outside. We kept the BR window open after calling the office to say our A/C wasn't working, only to find out there is none! The furniture on the tiny deck was rusted and looked fragile. There's no view and the neighbor's deck is very close. There are no amenities besides a hot tub and coin-op laundry, which was handy. It's a short walk to the beach and there's a small convenience store nearby. We walked to Old Juan's Cantina for great Mexican food and to ATV rentals for fun on the Oceano dunes. We were there for our son's graduation from Cal Poly and it was hard to find anything closer to SLO even when I booked back in January!

We’ve stayed at Pacific Plaza before and it was always nice. We got a different unit this trip and was hit with a disgusting scent when we opened the door. Turns out clams were left on top of the fridge causing the horrid smell. The kitchen table stool was also broken so only one person could sit.

I did leave a brief recommendation to the manager - I have stayed here for 4 year's on and off - this time I was in an older updated unit. This was front facing and was the usual set up - however the carpets and the furniture needed a deep clean. I went out an purchased a sheet to put on the couch, and towels to put on the arms of the chairs and sofa. - Hopefully next time it will be updated . I still enjoy the location and the place itself.

Dated and dirty. The pictures over embellish the rooms and the property . Linens were stained and towels were like sandpaper! The hot tub was old and yellow. Will never go back!!

The whole place is a little older. Our suite could have been cleaner. Unfortunatley we had to brush dead ants out of our bed and sweep the dead ones up. There were also spider webs in the upper corners with bugs in them. Some of the dishes weren't clean. The TV in the main room for one dy was stuck on one channel. All we could do was turn it on and adjust the volume, but couldn't change the channel. The next day is reset itself. The patio of furniture wasn't cleaned before our arrival and the patio also didn't have the spider webs cleaned up either. Overall it could use an updating and a deep cleaning.

Was not very impressed with the resort. Was not allowed to check in early, the bedding sheets were stained, the jacuzzi was not warm. When asked at the front desk, the maintenance person was not available until the following day. The resort looks nice from outside but inside the rooms, they are outdated.

The room was not what I had reserved. The shower head came off the first night I arrived and hit me while I’m the shower. The window shades do not have a draw string to open and close so anybody walking on the street could see inside to the bathroom area. The room had a mildew smell to it also. Property management were diligent in fixing the shower head but advertising for the overall property is terrible as you may not get what you paid for. We will not be staying here again.

The actual unit (five-eleven) was decent. Full kitchen and large master bedroom with king bed was nice. While the blue towels looked nice, they were old with some bleach stains, and the color was faded, worn, and very rough. Definitely could use new towels. The fully stocked kitchen was nice, however I washed all the silveware before use as some looked dirty, as was the plastic holder. There is no dishwasher, so the handwashed dishes were mostly clean. Pots and pans are well worn, but had a decent selection. There is a muffin pan, but no cookie sheet, so I heated garlic bread and baked cookies in a muffin pan! Kitchen table is small with two chairs; we brought in a chair from the porch for our third person. Overall the unit was decent, but could use a coat of paint, new linens and pots and pans. These simple things would make the place excellent.

Enjoyed the close proximity to the beach. It’s right on the road that has access to the beach and across from a campground, so I imagine it’d be busy during peak season. We loved having our own porch too! Kitchen was a nice bonus too. If WiFi is important, ask which buildings have the best signal.

The condo was just perfect for our needs. Nice kitchen, huge bedroom and ok living room. Tv in the LR and a small one in the BR. The carpet in the unit is a little worn and mattress not the best.

Older buildings and each unit is different so if you want to know exactly what your unit looks like (how dated and/or updated) it’s important to compare with actual site of Pacific Plaza to see each unit. Stayed her post turkey day to hit dunes and cost is fair for what you get to house a family of 4. Limited dish wear. Only salt/pepper/olive oil. Bring extra blankets!

The condo we rented was spacious however the heater wasn’t working, and it got chilly in the am. Not adequate blankets on the bed, just sheets and one thin coverlet. The kitchen was not well equipped. There was only one serrated cutting knife, no bowls for mixing, no wine glasses, no cookie sheet or casserole dishes for baking or cooking with. So plan on either take out or eating out. Cooking in the condo was a challenge!! Plus the coffee pot was a joke! It brewed very weak coffee one cup at a time! I will not be revisiting this property!

Bed was comfortable and room was cozy. Easy to get transportation to and from, easy walk to the beach and store for ice/snacks/drinks. Walls a little thin and could hear neighbors but otherwise quiet and comfortable.

When I finished getting checked in, I went to 1963 Thunderbird to move to my room, the battery was suddenly dead. The Property Manager ( Forgot his name ) Closed the office and drove me to Autozone to get tools. Incredibly kind and helpful.You rarely see this kind of human kindness in this day and age. I can't thank him enough because I just bought the Classic and was preparing to drive 2500 miles and this was not a good start. I highly recomment Pacific Plaza for cleanliness, hospitality and being that close to the Pacific Ocean was great. Sincerely, Ralph E. Merritt

Units are clean,comfortable and spacious. Ruthie at check-in was great! Due to orthopedic issues we needed a downstairs unit. She was awesome, getting us a downstairs. Hot tub was clean and soothing after a long drive.

Super quick and easy to check in. The feont desk staff was efficient and very nice. A parking pass and code for your room are provided upon arrival. Our room had all the amenities described. Only complaint is wishing or knowing if there was/is a non smoking area. Every time we left or came back to our room we had to walk through cigarette smoke because our neighbors smoked on their patio. Just makes it a little bit difficult when you have kids with asthma. Other than that our stay was comfortable and pleasant. Would stay again.

The staff was super friendly and helpful! When I arrived a bit early they checked right away to see if the room was ready and even went to find the housekeeper to make sure. The grounds are clean and parking was easy. There is a table and chair on the landing outside our room that is dirty but if cleaned would be an ok place to relax. The room is great! Clean, spacious, nicely furnished and well decorated. I would definitely stay here again. There is even a Walmart and Trader Joe’s 10 min away. There is a cantina across the street and a diner just up the road.

We have stayed here several times and enjoy doing so. This time they changed their check in to touchless and sent me an email with the check info, so that was a surprise along with sending the info on the same day as our check in, so we had no idea until we arrived the need to have access to our email to check in. they should do it the day before in my opinion.

Room was not thoroughly cleaned. Hair and dirt on the floor. Noise level is out of control at this property. We left early because we had about 3hrs of sleep since it seemed the whole building was room hopping and being extremely loud. Slamming doors, banging walls, Blasting music and tv, yelling and cussing. My 10 month old didn’t sleep much and kept crying because of it. I attempted to get ahold of someone on property to help but they informed me the next morning they are not a 24/7 hotel and to call PD for assistance next time. I will never return here since it’s clearly a party property with a lack of control on noise. Awful experience

Enjoyed the close proximity to the beach. It’s right on the road that has access to the beach and across from a campground, so I imagine it’d be busy during peak season. We loved having our own porch too! Kitchen was a nice bonus too. If WiFi is important, ask which buildings have the best signal.

It was a great location for being close to Pismo Beach and Oceana, California area. The only disadvantage was we were right on the main road for the entrance to pismo beach and did not realize that it would be that busy with traffic most of the day and into the sunset hours. The staff were very considerate, and took care of our needs, as best they could.

Stayed for just one night, but I would definitely come back. Even though it's not in the middle of town, there is a small beach store and Mexican restaurant within walking distance. Parking was always available. Clean, comfortable, and convenient.

We love that the hotel/condo was walking distance to the beach and the hotel has a full kitchen for to cook our own food. This is a BIG plus for us because my husband has a health diet restrictions so it helps that there is a full kitchen for me to cook. This way we get to enjoy our stay and be near the beach. Will definitely come back.

Older buildings and each unit is different so if you want to know exactly what your unit looks like (how dated and/or updated) it’s important to compare with actual site of Pacific Plaza to see each unit. Stayed her post turkey day to hit dunes and cost is fair for what you get to house a family of 4. Limited dish wear. Only salt/pepper/olive oil. Bring extra blankets!

The condo we rented was spacious however the heater wasn’t working, and it got chilly in the am. Not adequate blankets on the bed, just sheets and one thin coverlet. The kitchen was not well equipped. There was only one serrated cutting knife, no bowls for mixing, no wine glasses, no cookie sheet or casserole dishes for baking or cooking with. So plan on either take out or eating out. Cooking in the condo was a challenge!! Plus the coffee pot was a joke! It brewed very weak coffee one cup at a time! I will not be revisiting this property!

Property was close/walking distance to the beach and in a quiet area. Small parking places, but there were plenty of them. Outside of property was well maintained. The actual unit (five-eleven) was decent. Full kitchen and large master bedroom with king bed was nice. While the blue towels looked nice, they were old with some bleach stains, and the color was faded, worn, and very rough. Definitely could use new towels. The fully stocked kitchen was nice, however I washed all the silveware before use as some looked dirty, as was the plastic holder. There is no dishwasher, so the handwashed dishes were mostly clean. Pots and pans are well worn, but had a decent selection. There is a muffin pan, but no cookie sheet, so I heated garlic bread and baked cookies in a muffin pan! Kitchen table is small with two chairs; we brought in a chair from the porch for our third person. Overall the unit was decent, but could use a coat of paint, new linens and pots and pans. These simple things would make the place excellent.

The interior of our condo was nice--spacious & comfortable. We were very surprised there is no A/C--it got quite warm inside at times even though it wasn't hot outside. We kept the BR window open after calling the office to say our A/C wasn't working, only to find out there is none! The furniture on the tiny deck was rusted and looked fragile. There's no view and the neighbor's deck is very close. There are no amenities besides a hot tub and coin-op laundry, which was handy. It's a short walk to the beach and there's a small convenience store nearby. We walked to Old Juan's Cantina for great Mexican food and to ATV rentals for fun on the Oceano dunes. We were there for our son's graduation from Cal Poly and it was hard to find anything closer to SLO even when I booked back in January!
