Place was nice a few things is the toilet seat was so loose Not as clean as I'm used to. Parking was a little difficult I have a truck. If you have a small car it would be OK There was no parking on my level Had to park down a little ways There was no hot water in the morning when we were checking out Had to take a cold shower. Adjoining restaurant was outstanding. Parking was easy. Location was wonderful. Rooftop terrace was nothing special- there are no chairs or shade cover. Also the WiFi is almost non existent and the cable Is very outdated.

Granted, there was a great deal of renovation going on and there is no carpet in the hall outside our door and our door had about a 1 inch space underneath it and whenever someone walked by or talked out in the hall, it was clearly heard. Still, there was a nice welcoming staff, and it looks like the building is under some major renovation which when it is done, I’m sure it will be quite nice. We probably would stay there again, but not until the renovation is over. One other thing, there’s no breakfast offered, but they do have coffee in the lobby.

I was very impressed overall with this hotel. I will for sure stay here again. Short walk to the beach. Food and store within walking distance. Room was better than i expected, clean and comfortable. Had a fire place to end ur day with. Friendly staff. The balcony wrapped everything up. A perfect touch. The Pool area was disappointing but we spend most of our time at the beach anyway. 10 out of 10 recommended

The Hotel staff are amazing. You have to study the pictures closely, i didnt and missed it, as the hotel is not on the beach directly. It sits across the street and does afford some killer views but crossing the major highway to get to the actual beach is the reality. Having said that, the beach is awesome, waves were decent and a lot of boards were present. The hotel is undergoing a major renovation so parking was an issue but the staff works to ensure tour vehicle sits on site. I would stay again of im in the area. Easy drive to SF

Because of repairs, there is limited parking. There is construction equipment taking up parking spaces. I don't know how long these repairs will take. But the room had a balcony that I could sit on and have my coffee. This was very relaxing.

The staff was very welcoming and helpful. But unfortunately, hotel has seen better days. She's a beauty from afar. But, on a closer examination, she needs a lot of work. Extreme dry rot on the building. The pool was not usable due to refurbishing. We were not told that before we booked our weekend. The patio view was fabulous, but it came with a penalty, the noise from the road was super loud. Sorry, we would not recommend the hotel due to these drawbacks.

This property is under construction. Complete renovation. Cant understand why it is not postes anywhere. They shoud definitely inform people prior to arriving on property. Limited parking, constant noise, i really like the place but the idea of a relaxing stay while a man lift is running around and they are repairing a roof is beyond frustrating.

Room didn’t feel clean. Things were broken and found silverfish. Shower was really small. You can see rust and dry rot outside. You can tell it’s an old building that needs major upgrades. The pictures online are deceiving. I’m not sure we would go here again. Maybe if it was the only place to go to we would but that’s a maybe. On another note the staff there are really nice and helpful. We also got to see whales from the shore and a beautiful sunset. The other upside is you can walk to the shopping center or the tacobell which the tacobell is right on the beach. Kinda weird tacobell sold alcohol.

False advertising!!! The pictures on the website didn’t match the room I selected and booked. The room was outdated and the bathroom lights and phone to front desk didn’t work. The hot tub didn’t have the plug available to use, so I had to use my cell phone to get a hold of the front desk. The room was freezing and blankets weren’t provided, so it made for a cold night. Last but not least, the room was not clean. There were inappropriate items left behind and when I checked out reported it to the front desk and they promised a manager would call me, but I’m still waiting and I tried to call and ask for one, but keep getting the run around!! Overall, I will never book this hotel again!

Our room was moldy, the jacuzzi did not work (would not turn on, would not drain, non-operable), there was mold all over the room, and early Friday morning the fire alarms went off for 20-30 minutes in our whole building. The stay was extremely disappointing and the property is in disrepair. I would recommend you stay anywhere else.

Room was dirty as hell. Stains on the curtains, towels, each corner of the room had dry boogers, dirt that hasn’t been cleaned off in years. Gave it a chance but checked out 6 hours after check in cause I didn’t want to leave there with either scabies or bugs bugs. 350$ to stay in a dump like this? Motel 6 is looking better and better.

We checked in on Saturday Sept 20, but unfortunately we checked out a few hours into our stay. The room was disgusting with mold and rotted wood on the floor boards on the bathroom and the hot tub bath was also dirty. I spoke with the front desk and they told me that they would speak to the manager and get us a refund but guess what the manager never approved our refund. Would not recommend this property to anyone. I really wish I took some photos so you all could see what I am talking about .

The rooms were clean. I loved the pretty white and light blue interior of the room. It matched the awesome sea side environment. Staff was very helpful and courteous. Pool was clean. We could literally walk from hotel to the beach. Great beach and surf. Hotel emailed me at moment of stay name of staff member who would cater to any needs.

I’m pretty sure our room wasn’t cleaned after the previous guests. The floor was visibly dirty, the sheets had sand in them and stains on them, there was a layer of dust covering all of the surfaces and a previous guest’s socks had been left in one of the drawers. The proximity to the beach is great, but the facilities were not well-kept.

The room was dirty stains on the floor, the hot tub, the corner of the room, the electrical outlets didn’t have covers. We booked two nights and left in the morning. Most of the hotel was under construction, had to go through that to reach the room. The hotel refuse to give the money back, and hotels. Com would only refund 66 in key cash that I spent so was out the 186 paid. Don’t stay here unless you like 3 world country hotels….

My family loved this place so much that we started and ENDED out trip here. We booked on a whim based on proximity to SFO and the beach. We were pleasantly surprised by a clean, friendly, out-timey feel of a hotel. It was quaint, had everything we needed, and was just a short walk to the beach where the surfers were plentiful. The bathrooms were spacious and clean, the beds comfortable, the sights amazing. The town (which we had only driving through in the past) was so sweet with great places to pick up snacks or meals. We WILL be back again.

We stayed here for a beach weekend. It's right across the street from the beach (walkable!), and for bonus points, there's a Taco Bell Cantina nearby. I think we got a renovated room, as we read some previous negative reviews, so we went in with low expectations just in case. But our stay was great. We got a text the day of welcoming us to the hotel. We ended up getting in later than expected, and the hotel was responsive and accommodating. The room was nice. The beds were clean and cozy. The bathroom was nice with good water pressure in the shower. The only small things we noticed are that the shampoo & conditioner bottles were small (we're a family of 4), and there were only three towels. But those are easy fixes! Also, we saw reviews about parking being limited, which it is, but we did not have a problem; even with checking in late in the day, there were still a few spots open. Basically, one spot per room, I think, but we had two cars for our group, and we both found spots. Overall, we'd stay there again. PS: No hot tub in our room, which we prefer not to have, glad to see our room did not come with one (we saw some in prior reviews).

I got room 111 which was bottom floor by the front and the employee areas were quite loud. There’s no screen door on the slider and it opened to the parking lot so I couldn’t enjoy the ocean breeze. The air conditioner was super loud and was either freezing or wouldn’t turn on. I think it would have been great if it wasn’t for the location of the room.

We stayed in an updated room with two queen beds. The room was pretty basic, nice balcony with a partial view of the ocean. The location is perfect—right across the street from the beach. Noise in the hotel was a huge problem. I guess it’s probably more of a parenting problem, but there were children running and screaming in the hallways until 2:30am. I also have two young children and we all struggled to sleep. It was so loud that it sounded like they were yelling right outside our door. We could also hear our neighbors as if they were talking in our same room. If you stay here, but sure to pack a very loud white noise maker if you want to sleep!

I wish we’d had more time to enjoy. The jacuzzi controls were confusing and the bathroom fan stayed on all the time which bothered my husband. A screen on door to our balcony would’ve been-better so we could’ve left that door open at night.

The wifi in our room was terrible. There was broken tiles with broken edges between the sleeping area and the bathroom. The in room hot tub/jacuzzi didn't work and then wouldn't drain the water after we tried using it. Overall a subpar experience.

Customer service stood out to me. I believe "Destiny" at the front desk was my guardian angel. There was a mixup of rooms in the system but she handled it like a champ. Also when i had Uber Eats delivery i was left with no utensils, but yet again Destiny to the rescue!

My wife. And I have been there at least 3 times Destiny at the front desk was a real breath of fresh air.She came to our room and brought us extras And when there was a problem with our room, she upgraded us and made our stay fantastic because of her. We will be back.

The front desk staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating. They helped me arrive and settle in and through an issue I had. Truly appreciated by me. The hotel is in a great location across the road from the beach.

We like aesthetic looks of the premises; our room had a hot tub and a beautiful view of the ocean, the location was just off the highway and a nice restaurant on property. Covered pool with a beautiful ocean view. What we didn't like was the steep driveway to enter the property

This is my go to when I am in this area. This hotel looks so nice, I call it similar to the Hotel Del in San Diego. The location is excellent. Beautiful views and in August. I have seen baby gray whales playing and swimming around the bay from my room or the 3rd floor viewing deck. It looks like an old top notch hotel, that has been partially renovated, but is a tremendous value based on location and views.

Located across Hwy1 from a public beach. My room had an ocean view and an in-room jacuzzi. Built on a hill with a steep driveway. Has an elevator. Attached to a Peruvian restaurant but I didn’t try it. Lots of other options a few miles away in in heart of Pacifica. I liked PBH. Good price. Would definitely stay there again.

The location is perfect Just outside of the city of San Francisco so it’s easy to get in and out The dramatic ocean views really give it a wow factor and the in room hot tub caps it off nicely especially for the decent prices point

This is a great spot, close to the beach, if you like the ocean if you are a surfer or if you just want a nice beach to walk on... THIS IS IT! The staff was great, the coffee machine at the front desk AWESOME. Close to SF check, inexpensive CHECK, made my stay the best, CHECK! I will come back here again next time business brings me up to SFO, San Jose or SF

This is our 4th stay here in Pacifica. We love going here especially during the Gog Fest. The property is being renovated and is a little outdated but comfortable and welcoming. The staff has always be helpful and friendly. The vuew even with the "partial view" rooms are beautiful, overlooking the ocean and beach across the street. Being from Pacifica, we appreciate this home away from home feel . The Peruvian restaurant next door has great atmosphere and outstanding food. This is by far our favorite hotel in Pacifica.

This is a great location for a walk to the beach, fine dining and shopping mall. Great views of the ocean and sunset during our visit. The room was very nice with shower, one of those big hot tubs (which we had no use for) a nice sized frig/freezer and small microwave. Wifi and A/C worked great. We were only disappointed the coffee maker in our room was defective, which we reported to the office upon leaving. There was also construction going on and limited parking. We had to park on the little street above where our room was. It was not too bad. This was our second stay at this hotel so we must like it!

This was a nice hotel to be at for a week, the rates were reasonable especially for the area. Had an ocean view which was really nice. Alot of construction going on, staff stated would be done in approximately a month. All and all pretty nice. The restaurant in front was pretty good, just had a beer and salad, but it's Peruvian and menu looked good. I would go back.

The staff was very friendly. The room was nice, it needed a few repairs but nothing that would make us not want to stay again. There is a restaurant and bar on the property which was really convenient. We enjoyed the food. The best part was it was right across the street from the beach. Parking was difficult at times because all the parking spaces were full.
