Every year my parents come from out of town to visit me and for the past three years they have stayed at the Quality Inn without any problems. Unfortunately this time, on one of the nights we were returning from dinner, they were locked out of the room and the receptionist didn't know how to open the door and said the maintenance staff were not answering him. He promptly gave them another room for the night, but they are elderly, need their medications, and my mother uses a device to assist her in sleeping. After two hours he was able to open the door, but it was too late when it happened. I spoke to the manager, but she didn't even text me to apologize or acknowledge what had just happened. It's winter, so there were plenty of rooms available, but I wonder if they would have an extra room during peak season, not to mention my elderly parents were left without their medications, clothes, and documents, on top of all the stress the situation caused.

The staff and food wwere excellent. Our only problem is that the EV chargers did not work. We ended up putting in $30 and still have not received a refund from the charger company. The Quality Inn staff didn't know anything about what to do when the charger took our credit card and "ate" the deposit. The chargers have a sticker with a QR code that's peeling off -- and so that is only workable on 2 of the four chargers. It's a fine hotel, but the management should take control of those chargers -- or not tell customers that they exist. We ended up having to go to another set to get our vehicle charged for the rest of our trip.

This hotel is probably the best value in the Petaluma area. Do not expect however to find a 5-star resort. The staff at the desk are friendly but not overly. Breakfast is OK, and we enjoyed the hot sausage/bacon/scrambled egg buffet style. The pool is not very big, and there were a few leaves and a plastic bag floating in it. But overall, we were happy with our stay, and given the area, it's a good value for the money.

Just a quick overnight visit. Enjoyed a clean, comfortable stay. The customer service at the front desk friendly and quick. The breakfast service was well stocked and kept clean. The breakfast burrito bar was a bonus. Enjoyed the jacuzzi late night before closing, though the water needed to be warmer.

Incredible front desk staff. Friendly and efficient. Comfortable bed. No elevators on property and we had a second floor room. There were no first floor rooms available. The stairs are steep and my husband has recently had surgery so it was difficult to navigate. Our room was showing signs of wear with ripped carpet (I forgot to take photos). The breakfast was absolutely standard. 😞. Right off Hwy 101 so easy overnight stop.

We had a very nice stay here. The check in staff were very friendly and efficient. The breakfast was very delicious with lots of choices. The breakfast room where there was olenty of seating, was very nice too. The room was spacious and the beds were veey comfortable. The pool looked very inviting but we did not have time in our schedule to go for a swim or a dip in the hot tub. The hotel is conveniently located near the 101 and many other main thoroughfares but the property is quiet. Will definately stay here agian!

The outside looks cute, lobby was fine, grounds were clean, bed was comfy. It seems like they have started to remodel some aspects of the rooms, sink counter and shower insert looked new. Bathroom floor needs replaced. The carpet in building 7 hallway and rooms, however, was disgusting! Super worn, stained, and so dirty I didn’t want my feet touching it. It is also supposed to be a smoke free property, but around 9:00 pm the smell of pot smoke was so strong it made our room super stinky. Hopefully the people smoking were charged the $200 fee that was sign posted in the room for smoking. For a few dollars more, I’d stay at The Couryard or Hampton Inn nearby.

The staff was genuinely friendly, engaging, and helpful. The only thing I didn’t like was the AC made a knocking noise and then a really loud vibrating noise every time as it came on. There was also a mildew smell in the bathroom; I’m guessing mildew behind the tiles. The breakfast was great and we enjoyed the hot tub.

Our room was located at the end of the property in an close building with a long hallway that divided the rooms. As I open the main door of building the smell was so bad that burn my nose as I was breathing. The carpet was very filthy with lots of stains. The smell in the room was also very bad and could not believe the carpet was very dirty as well. The room DID NOT LOOK NOTHING like The pictures that I saw in Expedia my husband and myself were very disappointed and decided to only stay One night not two..!! The price we paid for one night was overpriced for what we were getting..!!!!

The room was decent. The bed was super loud and uncomfortable. The shower had hair in it but everything else was clean. It’s not in a super nice area and random people walk by on the sidewalk near the rooms. The garbage truck came at 4am and was so loud. Worst sleep ever. The breakfast was incredible though. It almost made up for the horrible sleeping experience. The coffee in the room only has powdered creamer packets but the coffee in the lobby area has liquid creamer pods which was nice. Overall, it was an okay stay. It was nice how close it is to the Lagunitas Brewery which is mostly why we came, only a 5 min drive. We wouldn’t come back to stay at this place though.

We needed a room for one night on a fast overnight trip to see a concert. Quality Inn was the most reasonably priced with good reviews in the area. Check-in was very fast and easy. Our room was small-ish but clean and comfortable. We didn't hear a peep from outside or other rooms. We liked the comfortable bed. My husband likes really firm puffy pillows while I like smaller softer pillows, so I was happy about those. He didn't like them. The air conditioning was very quiet compared to many other motels I have stayed at. During the night the air felt sticky. I should have turned the air conditioning off and opened the window instead. Breakfast was a great value with lots of choices. There is not much seating so get there really early for breakfast, or plan to take it back to your room. Overall I highly recommend Quality Inn at Petaluma.

I have stayed at this property so many times throughout the years this is the first time I've had such a bad experience upon arrival we were told that our room it's not available two Queens with a jacuzzi we receive one King standard room with a shower gentleman said they were sold out on the one I purchased so we can take this one I need to take this one and they will change it in the morning it never got changed I was also told that even though I purchased that room it was not guarantee it was guaranteed first come first serve that makes no sense why would I purchase when you will not get it I had to change room myself 3:30 in the afternoon the lady on staff was very helpful to get the wrong room change also I was advice on check in that I would be refunded for the problem on Friday that never happened

Donnie provided the quickest and most efficient check in while also being friendly. The hotel itself is nice and clean. Nothing fancy. Good location without highway noise. We will NOT stay here again solely for how uncomfortable the bed was. At first it felt nice, but then no matter where on the bed you were, you sunk into a hole. It was terrible.

Breakfast was very good. I was able to build a breakfast burrito with the ingredients. Coffee was also good. Kids loved the DIY waffles. However, need to put out more tables and chairs for breakfast. People were waiting on tables.

Selections range from making your own waffles, even the little tiny ones, to scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, various types of bread, and sweets, as well as fresh fruit, including oranges and bananas. Yogurts, milk, orange juice, or apple juice. Coffees were high-test or decaf, with hot water for tea; a lovely arrangement of choices.

They had a free upgrade available, that was lovely. The staff is top notch, very friendly and helpful. The shower had good pressure and heat. The beds were nice medium firm. The area around has nice walkable redwoods in an office park. The breakfast was actually disappointing in options.
